It's hardly an issue though is it? The think that people don't like about DH is the fact that it gives survivors distance in chase. Using DH in place buys the survivor an extra 1 or 2 seconds in chase.
It looks incredibly stupid that the survivor is standing still yet not being damaged. There is no skill in pressing E while standing still next to a wall or pallet.
-
I wouldn't care if the filter was OPTIONAL so I can actually not deal with it. It is just an annoyance.
-
You know someone is pulling at straws when they compare spine chill/iron will to ruin and undying simply because DS got nerfed already.
Iron will is perfectly fine.
Spine chill has some issues but is counterable by just looking away a bit when approaching. That relies on actually knowing where the survivor is though is the catch... It is clearly better than premonition and it don't take much thought to figure out why. Premonition needs a buff if anything and spine chill could use some type of change maybe.
-
I've noticed more of it, people that don't are delusional or benefiting. With that being said, DS needed to be addressed. So maybe now tunneling/camping itself can be addressed instead of using perks as bandaids.
-
I'm pretty sure sandbagging someone based off their profile is bannable regardless of what is there.

Yet global mailing companies tend to work fine but a company in Canada cant?
Too true. All of this stuff predates covid including the terrible quality control. It blows my mind people still actually try to take advantage of covid to excuse everything.

If you are in a public space you aren't entitled to anything. A match is just as public as a street. There is no ethical issue. It is only an ethical issue if the stream captures something like a mental breakdown, suicide, etc. That is unethical. You are the only one who can expose yourself at all considering everything has privacy filters on profiles anyways.
This isn't a movie project where extras get contacted out, hired and fill a role. You are just a random person that was doing something they intended to do anyways.
-
No, I seen a group of 3 grannies that stream before. I don't remember their names though.

Personally, I think the best buff for him would be to reduce the windup for his knives. I mean, Slinger has basically zero windup and his ranged attack is much more powerful, so why does trickster have a windup almost as long as huntress?
Because he throws a barrage of knives rather than a single projectile. Huntress has an immediate result. Deathslinger has to reel them in which can result in zero damage potentially or damage to someone else you don't want to go after if they are body blocking. If you miss you got a reload time to balance it.
Frankly the windup wouldn't be an issue if his knives didn't go all over the place. Jett on Valorant is a good example of how to handle throwing knives.
-
Dead hard shouldn't be able to avoid trapper traps.
-
No thanks, I don't do last minute switches but I will be spending BP if I weren't able to do so. I'd do the same as killer if I were still able. Easy to fix that even so killers can do it too by just making it so you can switch to spend but only be able to play as the killer you queue'd as.

you sound like almo saying clown is underrate.
Funnily enough, seeing Almo playing twins was just using them to camp hook lol.
-
Is this bait?
-
The problem with the game is:
1) Only Asian servers.
2) The killer behind a paywall is FAR better than the original... It is like you are just being pushed to spend for that.
-
If you keep doing that you're just gonna become boosted and more than likely end up whining about playing survivors that are out of your league.
If I have to leave a lobby its because these devs are bad at implementing features so you have to go all the way back to matchmaking to set a challenge or look at something on rift/store/anything else aside from settings/loadout/bloodweb.
-
Why did survivor nodding go from a normal nod to something that looks like its from a budget PS2 game?

Please no. Not every survivor in the game needs to be attractive. That's not like the real world. And I like variety.
They don't have to be attractive. The QUALITY of the faces is BAD.

The issue is most people ask for a buff because it doesn't help you..
You can't have both you know.
It shouldn't help you directly, it should help your team. In 2500 hours of gameplay I can't say I've ever felt like BT needed any sort of adjustment aside from distance being a factor so stealth killers can't exploit their power basically to camp. By exploit I mean they aren't actually being stealthy whatsoever just removing the TR. If you wanna help yourself use a purple bottle, an exhaustion perk or DS. Fixing distance is easier said than done but I think having it TR dependent but with a small distance to prevent facecamp would be fine. I'm not one of those people asking for it to be changed. There are many weak perks in this game that either need to be buffed or merged. BT isn't really one of them and is called a meta perk for a reason.

Rob Zombie.

No, team perks help encourage players to not be selfish.

That's just unlucky not every match has that scenario
That's not unlucky its bad game design and is frankly silly in what is supposed to be a "horror" game. In that situation also it was predetermined because a offering was used on top of the key to have the hatch spawn next to shack. So no luck involved, bad game design.

I swear,it's pretty amazing and saddening to see HOW many people don't see their own hypocrisy (or just didn't bother to read the lore at all) regarding this topic.
Yes its definitely shoving it down our throats when we exist today due to heterosexuality. Whining about heterosexuality is the equivalent of being unemployed and whining about movies about people having jobs.

@DecisiveDwight said:
Keys are fine your problem from all your complaints isn't that keys are letting all survivors escape it's that the hatch spawns when generators aren't all finished so instead of nerfing keys only have hatch spawn after all gens are finished or when the last survivor is alive there I just fixed your problem without nerfing keys and if you still have a issue with it then when all gens are done killer can see hatch as well as doors but not when only one survivor remains. You're welcome
I would argue it is an issue if I close the hatch as the killer in the survivor's face and they key out because they have a full healthstate and collision is lost.

In the end dude is it really that big of a problem? We have a Chinese Gamer (Feng Min), A Nervous Leader (Dwight), Ash, a Heavily botched Quentin, along with a famous TV show host (Jane), and a Black lady who joined a cult then escaped the cult via going to the entity's realm (Elodie).
Surely a popstar survivor isn't too bad of an addition, along with not being too out of the ordinary compared to some of the characters who like feng min for example was in Pro Tournaments and Jane being a famous TV show host. While I'm not a huge fan of kpop I truly don't understand why people hate this character in question so much. Is it because the devs are doing a trend everyone else is doing? Or because it's not "horror like" (although let's face it until they add ceiling climbing mannequins or legitmately scary killer that can scare you in game by surprise DBD isn't gonna be scary for awhile)
I'm sort of iffy if the new killer IS the popstar, because well... I mean we have a roster of bloodied mutated killers then you just see a brightly colored diva. But if the new teaser suggests they can rewind time than that's hella cool overall you know. Hard to implement, but if the devs work out something for that power than it's surprising.
The only thing I'm concerned about this upcoming chapter is the amount of teasers we've been getting. It seems like they're hyping this up A LOT which worries me if they might get HELL TON of bugs like Binding of Kin and all that hype was just overall disappointment.
Well I don't like it because I'd like to stop seeing stupid cosmetics.

"I can't rank up therefore DbD is a bad game."
The map bugs, broken pip system, game bugs, bad ui, bad map balance on new maps, busted hit boxes and lack of quality control make it a bad game. I mean are you really gonna just gonna stick your head in the sand? Mind you that's only speaking on the last update and not the longstanding problems in performance/game design/not listening to constructive criticism.

Cuts off screaming. If its more than one time its pretty obvious its bming.

If it was that easy they probably would have done it already...
Unlikely considering how many easy changes aren't put into the game in general.
-
Yeah its bad. Esp. considering how easy it is to fix.
-
Really? If anything head on needs a buff.
-
Map offerings are fine as is. The problem is the maps themselves. Stop blaming the bullet for problems with the gun.
-
Sorta funny how people pretend like spirit is hard without stridor. The only legitimate thing being said in this thread is that chase music is too loud. I've done perfectly fine with spirit without needing stridor.
@[Deleted User] said:
For those people saying you can hear footsteps:
Footstep attenuation and sounds were reworked 2 years ago. Now you're going to need some high ass quality headphones and an equalizer to hear footsteps away 1 meter from the survivor.
I'm not having a problem with $40 headphones. The only issue is sounds of the game covering stuff up. Chase music, plague whispers, someone spamming vault, etc.

Most people switching around are spending bloodpoints.

"to play so damn sweaty"
I still want to know when a word that means "to put effort into" became a pejorative insult.
In this context it is. Its like a UFC fighter going full power on a paraplegic.
-
I like swamp. I don't like the map bugs they refuse to fix.
-
People whine about it all the time. What gets downplayed is how buggy the perk is since dedicated servers. Which is worse with the new hitbox issues. I dont mind it. The issue isnt dh its that some variations got too many interconnected loops. Its value for anything but distanc3 goes out the window once you know they have it. Also because of the bug.my only gripe is that the other perks are less desirable aside from sprint burst. Head on fot example deserves a buff.

You make it sound like this is Fortnite.

No, it doesn't. Have you tried playing killer on this map? Sometimes you can't even catch survivors because there are safe pallets everywhere. Yes, it was a killer sided map in the past, but this isn't balance.
I think he's saying before. Before it was killer sided aside for the exit gates being on opposite sides. Totem placements also were alright and sometimes the gens can be hard to find. The safe pallets on the map weren't interconnected and the rest could be mindgamed. Obviously not the case on the current one for most variations.
-
Funnily enough the best balance change for spirit was a directional sound bug.

Well I hate people who say 'git gud' without constructive criticism, but you are wrong as well. Spirit is not that easy, Stridor doesn't make her an annihilator gun. Do you think that label 'hard' on her is given just because?
Spirit is easy idk what you're talking about. I used to main spirit and she is incredibly easy. She just requires game sense and a headset. The mindgames survivor can do easily become predictable. Put on stridor and yes, its like using training wheels. Play with pink or purple add ons to bust the game. She is labeled "hard" only because of the dev's interpretation of her ADEPT which is frankly off just as it is for most other labels.

Survivour mains need to learn to just play game or go try killer. Been reading things on steam and people complaining about iri head on huntress. Stop complaining and grow a pair hiw easy do survivours want the game to be lol it's funny how it's always killer ######### that gets nerfed
Damn near everyone doesn't like iri hatchets. How about stop defending broken stuff? The equivalent of defending iri head is defending BNP.

Here is the issue with vertical: It only works in a game where really you don't have to pay much attention to that part of the hud. The games that have vertical are usually only ones where you need to pay attention to health/power bars. It don't work as well in a game where you need to pay attention to all the ######### that goes on in this game. The stuff that is usually important in the hud is at the bottom.
Your version still looks better than both of theirs though.
-
You make it sound like the characters on this game have F cups. Everyone just looks like a normal person. If you were gonna make this argument it should've been about the /cosmetics/ which many people will agree are out of place.

@Sluzzy said:
Sounds as though they actually made it more fair. This map was EXTREMELY killer sided before, so if they've added some more pallets or adjusted and reduced the deadzones then that is a first. Killers often used it as an offering it was so killer sided. Some rooms did not have a single pallet!
There is a big leap between what it was at and 30 pallets. Dead zones surfacing doesn't matter when the number of pallets is high enough that you can just throw them till the gens are done.

I’ve been playing DbD since the Clown chapter and I remember my first event was the Summer BBQ event where you could earn a melee weapon for Hillbilly and a shirt for Kate. The next event I played was the Blight event where you had to complete a secondary objective to earn currency to put toward a Halloween event skin of your choice. I’m pretty sure the next event had the same system. This was when events were great. Now, you have to pay real money to get the event skins. At this point it’s a skin drop and a few cosmetic changes to the game. Myself and many other people would love for the old event model to make a return to the game because these past few “events” have just felt like skin drops with all of the cosmetic content behind a pay wall with no way to earn at least one skin.
You're leaving out also how they switched to codes instead of just having it pop up on log in just to make it more tedious.
-
A idea I had to make it more useful was making you silent while slugged. Basically turning that bug into a addition to this perk.

I just checked steam and they have almost 50k players in-game. Clearly everyone is as happy as a clam, and we are outcasts.
One of the worst things we do to ourselves here is thinking we have a voice and the feedback we provide can change anything. Devs will continue to do what they think is right, and clearly not enough people care to make a difference. I've seen some games take a step back when they are forced to see negative comments on steam or other platforms. I don't think it will happen here.
That dont mean much. It just means again, only game of its type and that people will put up with bad changes. It dont mean people like it lol. Ik several people on multiple platforms that dont like it but played. Here isnt any different than elsewhere except that on a forum you will get a more detailed response.
