I'd just report the profile and move on. they may be trying to bait you into playing in a manner that will get you banned.

It's annoying and nobody likes it but I'm not sure I'm putting "Playing a video game in a way I don't like" up there with the Great Philosophical Questions of Morality...
While I feel bad for normal people who get camped, I'm not gonna shed a tear over someone being an ######### getting punished for it.

Otherwise, TECHNICALLY SPEAKING, I think Sandbagging IS against the rules under unsportsmanlike conduct. I don't know the ins and outs, though. Also, reporting them for abusive chat COULD go a long way.

It's a game, it's not like you're hurting them IRL. As long as you're not breaking the rules (and note that sandbagging can be against the rules if it's done repeatedly to the same person to harass them), play however you want.

I'm pretty sure sandbagging someone based off their profile is bannable regardless of what is there.
Listen I'm gonna say the usual play fair and don't fall for anyone begging for attention...
...but also I hate people like that and sometimes it feels good to slam a pallet on them "by accident" or face camp <3

I mean, there is an advantage to it. Sometimes people put in their strategies or if they're doing a challenge, that way you can be aware of their motivations.

You can do what you want. Personally, I would since I have an extremely low tolerance for stuff like that.
It's a God damn game. As long as its not breaking the rules, nothings really unethical.

Does DBD have a different definition of Sandbagging? How is that at all enforceable but camping/tunnelling is fine?
Report the profile for sure, after that you can play the game how you want.

Report the profile on Steam and play the game according to rules. You can also leave a lobby if you don't want to play with someone.
