I'm glad to see survivors get a decent perk. Probably a nothing-burger, but something just don't really sit right with me on this though. We've already established it being behind a paywall. Even more so, is that they've slowly made other top-tier paid survivor DLC perks unattractive over time. The "meta-shakeup" effectively took a lot of other tools away from survs toolkit too ontop of this. Now this is introduced and it's put on a paid DLC just so you can attempt to have a tiny sliver of peace of mind since so many other tools survs had have effectively been neutered? Something something something BHVR is a business, yada yada yada. Still should have been a generic one to me.

I just faced a self-proclaimed comp killer today, who said they main Dredge.
They were playing Dredge, tunneled me the entire game, and only just managed to 2k with the help of NOED.
I think anyone could be a comp killer.
Don't you just love the things people can come up with to try and make themselves sound important?
-
Hag is fine and in a good spot currently. In fact I'd say Lisa is even stronger since the update. She is every bit as annoying and a menace as a killer can be.
-
Sometimes I'm angry, but sometimes I'm not...as angry

No Space Wesker? Denied

Absolutely should be a general perk, but doubtful. The more I've thought about how this perk is behind a paywall considering the current state of the game makes me chuckle.

I mean... People can still complain, and rightfully so in my opinion.
Reassurance may be a thing, but that's a bit lazy at best, greedy at worst in my opinion to make the band-aid fix to camping something survivors have to actually pay for (since this is a franchised DLC) and spend a perk slot on. Now killers will be more self-righteous than ever to camp, because they'll just have to say, "why don't you run reassurance then?".
I won't expect all of my teammates to run this, as I don't expect all of my fellow casual players to spend money on it. If I get camped, I'll always be more mad at the killer than at my teammates for not bringing an 8$ perk. And I'll keep complaining, though perhaps not on this forum.
Plus wasn't 6.1.'s objective to create variety in gameplay and kill all perks that 75% survivors use ? Now what will happen if everyone starts running Reassurance ? I firmly believe if something has to be done about camping, it should be base kit so that everyone benefits from it equally.
Camping killers will now be in a kind of in a win-win situation where they can both lord over survivors that they should have brought reassurance when it isn't used, and complain when the perk is brought.
While I am glad that at least something exists now to counter camping, I do not think it will make the game that much healthier in terms of relationship between killer mains and survivor mains.
(I'm saying all this as someone who does not main one side or the other)
Pretty much this. The perk is behind a paywall $$$, so they've already effectively already limited the amount of people who will have this early on. It also just continues this disgusting cycle of making band-aid perks that are meant to "fix" inherent game-design issues. Then like clockwork they'll nerf it into the ground so its useless or situational at best, which I guarantee happens with reassurance. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Unfortunately, they did not fix her face to look more like Jeryl :(.

Because I like it

And honestly make it active upon both hook states now it deactivates during endgame.
This. I wouldn't mind the one hook state so much if they reverted the deactivate during end-game changes. That specific change really crossed the line for me.
-
Well it's a game so fortunately you can just move on and queue up for the next one. While you cannot control how they behave, you can control your own actions and response to them.
-
Wow. So instead of my useless teammate suiciding on hook and leaving in a short amount of time, I have to continue to put up with them and their self-sabotaging behavior. Awesome, I guess.
-
Kazan himself has investigated this issue and confirmed that everything is fine with his orbs, possibly even better.
-
It's a tie between Trickster, Hag, and Nemmy. Trickster his ability is just brain dead and annoying with knife spam. At least a good huntress who practices throwing hatches can get some crazy good shots that deserve praise. Even a slinger who can read loops and tag survs. I can't say i've ever seen a trickster who can aim cause the ones I come across don't need to since they lean heavily on spray and pray. A certain add-on just makes him even more so braindead to play.
Nemmy's tentacle is just pure BS and when it comes to hitting over pallets
I'm throwing Hag in here too because her Phantasm Traps are probably the most annoying out of everyone's power due to the freakin camera lock-on. ๐.

100 wins with pre-nerf Spirit

Don't forget about the oh so thoughtful prestige tax. Uncle BHVR with their hand in our pockets taking their 20k share of our BP... As a long-time player all you can do is shake your head and wonder why they decided to go in this particular direction.
-
Billy and Oni both have the zoomies, but Oni got the Rawr XD built into his kit.
-
I wouldn't say I main him, yet, but since acquiring him i've played him more than just about everyone else on the roster. The animation for teleporting into an occupied locker and grabbing the survivor brings me inner peace.
-
I'd gladly take Hunk and a Tofu Survivor charm

I'm out after a couple of games. I spend more time on the forums than on the game itself.
Killer queue on NA East was so long for me yesterday afternoon and evening that I could do both. I actually forgot I was in queue at one point.

And still get to play an inferior version of a character because of the turn rate slowdown mechanic.
sigh
Yeah it's rough over here. Max sensitivity settings are a must have

I'd be playing him too, if his turns were instant on controller instead of essentially requiring Billy curve timing.
The struggles of me trying to play Oni on console. Login to play Oni, Load onto killer, Pull up killer selection screen, hover over Oni, select Blight. Whoops, how'd that happen ๐ ?

Even if they are settling with the lesser of two evils on this one, I'm happy to see PR + DMS a'la carte.

If I wasn't avoiding this game like COVID-19 then I'd fully commit to this protest. Basement Bubbas of the fog, hear my plea. Assemble! We have waited patiently for our moment and now is the time. Camp the basement hooks, Camp those normal hooks, and camp twice as hard on the scourge hooks. Show no limit to how far your camping skills can go.

Dredge. Hell yeah!

Wow, you detailed my last dredge match on RPD to a point. The entity may have had your soul, but I had those sweet, sweet, bloodpoints.

bro we need dps and none of us are any good at ow
Shoot, I haven't played since the Anniversary remix, so i'm very rusty. I play DPS too, though I'm shook you say that because usually everyone wants to be the DPS in my games. That's actually part of the reason I fell back onto Tank. As long as you guys can fight and die for the objective then the rest don't matter to me ๐

Sunk cost and the fact that there aren't any alternatives is a killer.
Me and the boys have been playing Overwatch Comp over Survivor. That's how ######### our experience has been.
If you ever need a great Primary or off- tank in your comp, hmu.

Not really when there's so many other better games. I just don't believe in keeping yourself in a situation you don't like. So, no DBD or purchases for the time being. Currently on a fix of SMT Nocturne and GTA V.

Exactly!
Imagine being so bad at the game that you cannot win, even with cheats.
Hell yeah. I learned that lesson back when I was active in DS1 pvp and modded my gamesave. Don't give them the chance to disrespect your authoritah ๐.

I played against one particular cheater a few times, long ago. Funny thing is, guy was so bad that his cheats could not save him.
If you played it right, you could still get him.
Love that. I've gone against survivors that were obviously cheating (speed boost, can't pickup, constant noise notifications when they are downed) and it's like if you are going to go this route and cheat then at least pay for/download ones that make it so you can't lose. Not ones that make you look foolish and humiliated while doing it.
