Oh, I didn't realise this was an official thing, I guessed it was community organised like the Hexy one.
-
Personally I've noticed it not working on Midwich Elementary either; maybe other maps but that's the only one I'm sure of.
(On PC, as multiple survivors).
-
This has already been reported loads of times, making another new thread about it won't help.
-
Scott Jund made a video about this, he's normally pretty good about explaining these things (I'm actually halfway through watching it rn):
-
Never seen this before a couple of days ago, now I get it most times I try to play killer.

oh I didn't know that! Thanks for information
No problem :)
-
The ranking system is broken just now, it has already been reported.
-
Unfortunately, the tradeoff was that killer times did the exact opposite.
-
My guess is that it's actually for balance purposes as well as just style: the chase music is intentionally loud so that survivors can throw off the killer; now this helps them slip away while the killer is blinded.
-
Yeah, there's a bug report and a Reddit video about it:
-
Killer by a long shot, though recently I've been playing mostly survivor due to the big jump in queue times.

Do you not play other games? Lol. I've been playing this game for almost 4 years and this game has always been a huge mess, but more than anything the developers very, very often make far worse decisions than good ones. Too hard on them? Probably, this community is already terribly toxic, so I can't imagine how it must be to be a developer for BHVR. I'm not going to pretend like they don't deserve a LOT of the criticism they get, especially when it comes to feedback.
I play a lot of POE, Vermintide, DRG, and it's absolutely amazing how different their communities, their developers, and their games are in every single aspect. It really is night and day and it makes me respect those companies and have very little for this one. But I don't go around spreading toxicity towards the developers or demand change, mostly because well, it would be completely pointless - they'll do what they want, generally :)
ROCK AND STONE!
I love both games to bits, but unfortunately I have to admit there's no comparison whatsoever between Ghost Ship Games and BHVR when it comes to attitude and caring for their game.

So if I use Tenacity do I get double crawl speed? I should test. Would be a nice build to meme around with.
Nah, same speed either way, you just get the benefit of recovering while you crawl.
-
Just made another thread about this right now, glad people are bringing attention to it.
-
I can't remember the channel, but before Chains of Hate came out there was a YouTuber speculating that the next killer would be "The Phoenix", a fallen firefighter that would leave trails of smouldering ash on the ground that survivors would have to avoid. I guess that mechanic was used for The Executioner shortly after, but a twisted firefighter still sounds good to me (reminds me of Fahrenheit 451).

I dont see an endgame collapse timer.
They've cut off the top; there are only three survivor portraits.
-
It's been like that for months unfortunately, nothing new.
-
Jake was the hardest out of the four faces, even when I did the same thing as you (dodging until I came across a Jake). I don't thiink it's bugged, but it does take ages.
-
In that case, yeah it should. I've heard of this happening to multiple people though unfortunately.
-
Buying a perk from the shrine doesn't guarantee it'll appear in the bloodweb immediately, only that it has a chance of being selected randomly from the pool you have unlocked.
-
She's one of my favourite characters, so it'd be great to see. Although, I think Hopper would fit in great with Bill, Tapp and the other older licensed survivors.

Wait what’s wrong with the bus? Haven’t played on Autohaven with the new update.
Survivors can fit through, killers can't.
-
Same, I'm in EU and on PC but I see some US streamers are still playing fine.
-
I love the map reworks, and the new chase music made me laugh when I first heard it.
-
The killer's total hook count tries to be a halfway point between no hook information and full hook information (either of which is fine IMO). Killers still need to count individual survivors' hooks in their head, making this icon little more than a distraction on the screen that flashes at you.
-
Could the killer have been in the undetectable state? Alert doesn't reveal cloaked Wraith, Night Shroud Ghostface, Tier 1 Myers or a crouching Pig.
-
Happens on PC too.
-
Personally I don't mind it when they increase the odds after updating a map; it gives people a chance to explore it and get used to it. Same with when a new killer comes out and most of your games are against them, it's good to get a period to practice a lot.
-
"If the Survivor was at full health, Victor will latch onto them, afflicting them with the Broken, Oblivious, and Incapacitated Status Effects, and control will swap to Charlotte."
Nope, no mention of exhausted.
-
This is easily the part of the game I hate the most. Swinging just to have your camera lurch and miss because of it is infuriating every time.
-
This has happened to me quite a few times, only on Midwich and only the chase music cuts in and out.
-
The closest thing Jason has to a theme is the song Alice Cooper wrote for part 6 (The Man Behind the Mask). Extremely wishful thinking because the licences are already causing so much trouble, but a mix of that with the sound effect would be amazing.
-
A few months back people were taking about a way for survivors to know what killer you've selected while in the pre-game lobby, I think it was just for PC, but I have no idea how to do it or if it's still possible.

When you hit or miss a Demon Strike your camera will always turn 90 degrees for some reason.
Huh, I've experienced that plenty then, I just assumed it was auto-aim being a nuisance.

- Because either they've learned from their mistakes with Binding of Kin (unlikely, but i still have hope) or it's just to keep up appearances and make us feel like our feedback is considered. I guess we'll see when the midchapter actually comes out.
- I'd wager BHVR don't know or simply don't care about the majority of bugs. That is, of course, unless it negatively affects survivor, or is so menial that nobody would ever notice it. Look at their bug fix list and tell me you've heard of more than a third of what's on there. Now compare that to Oni's camera bug which is STILL IN THE GAME.
- They changed the hud and movement because they wanted the game to look new, possibly to attract new players. Plus, they seem to adore changing things that don't need changing and changing them for the worse, while leaving things that do need adjustment untouched for years.
I'm sorry if I'm being daft, but what is the Oni camera bug? Heard people bring it up, I've played plenty of Oni and not sure what it's referring to.
-
Like others have said, Kindred is invaluable in helping your team coordinate when you're solo. I'd also recommend thinking about Detective's Hunch: it will inevitably trigger, and lets you easily take out Hexes even if your teammates aren't looking for them. Conversely, if they have cleansed a few dull totems already, the perk will save you from running around large parts of the map only to discover the totem you're looking for has been broken already.

hmm, weird then, when my friend gets on I'll try replicate this, did they get hit into it?
Yeah, whenever I've seen it they've been hit and fell down into that gap.
-
@Chchchcheryl said:
I'll test this on PTB later, it might be a connection thing, do you have good connection?
For the most part yeah, I rarely have the ping indicator in the top corner. I've always been killer in the games, but I've seen it happen to a couple of survivor in that exact spot.
-
Update: still an issue; happens on Badham Preschool as well. This time they couldn't get out.
-
This has already been reported loads of times, you should probably add to the existing discussion instead of making a duplicate one.
-
I've had problems with several archive challenges in the past, so one or more of these probably happened to me.
The only advice I can give is: for the challenge where you need to sacrifice all 4 survivors in the basement, I've heard it only counts if they die on seperate hooks.
-
Could say the same about the Coldwind maps with the uncleansable totems (at least I think this is still an issue, saw a post just earlier about it)
-
This is more of an opinion, not really a bug report.
Also, survivors can use the hatch with a Reverse Bear Trap on, even if it's active.
-
I've never thought of this before, I really like it!
Something like Huntress' Lullaby or Devour Hope but there's no effect for the first few tokens, then when you get say 3+ you start to get the benefit.
It would also give survivors more incentive to cleanse dull totems, which I feel is sorely lacking right now.
-
Update: the same happens at the exit as well. Steve stayed in the trial (see the bottom-left corner), but I could not pick him up.
-
The same thing happened to me as Pig on Coal Tower, when I downed a survivor working on a gen (it was the same side shown above). After they were picked up they could move normally again.
I've got screenshots from my perspective, but they don't show much apart from having no prompt to pick them up.

I can confirm, I made a thread from the survivor's side: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/214471/pc-killer-cant-pick-up-exploit
Ah right thanks, I'll close this thread and comment on yours then. No sense reporting it twice

Why a pile of garbage system this is we paid for this game and dlc how can you think it's alright to ban people when you yourself admit you cant tell if someone did it intentionally or not. I would say until you implement a system that can tell the difference between a power outage or network problem or and angry person leaving you should scrap this ban system asap. It doesnt improve this game at all I just watch more people suicide on hook.
We paid for this game dont ban us for things that can and mostly are network glitch or power outages
The vast, vast majority of DCs I witness are immediately after a survivor gets caught and downed. I'm sorry but I refuse to believe they "mostly are network glitches or power outages".

You are wrong as the devs have stated that victor isn't a child in any capacity.
If they did say that, then it contradicts the very lore they've put in their own game. That's the point I'm trying to make.
