Don't be the camped survivor. You just have to be sneakier and or better at loops than at least one of your teammates
That are many arguments to OP's post that make alot of sense. This one doesn't at all
-
Though they can be toxic, i play killer and am rarely abused. No offence but your probably being a bit toxic to earn said toxicity
-
I'm a killer main but i play enough survivor to know that the reason all the killer mains r so salty is cuz they're just so bad mostly. Like seriously i've got 1250 hours, and think im a very good killer, but when i play survivor there are so many AWFUL ones who obviously have no clue, so they cry about it on the forums
-
a sad truth
-
I have said this SO MANY TIMES, and been harassed by killers for it (despite being a killer myself). If the devs continue to buff killers, then the game will be more balanced, leading to a 50-50 divide between survivors and killers, resultant killing the game. It's a sad truth that killer needs to be less attractive
-
wait... what? ... it means something? I have 1250 hours on the game and i just wave my arms about for fun lol

I didn't say they could get to rank one. I said they are almost never there, and when they are. It is a risk to go out of your way to pick up traps across the map where there are NO gens to guard just for ONE trap. My goal is to increase the number of trappers I see at high ranks. Simply improving the hit box will not do that.
I disagree, i think any buff has an affect on the rank. Also ontop of that i suggested that he can open traps on the ground, and by default carry two traps. I think that is enough. Whilst i see what you mean about wasting time, i think often you end up going to all parts of the map anyway, and them being spread out helps encourage you to spread your traps out (between loops). My one suggestion for that would be stop them from spawning right in the corner / against the wall in maps, so the distance to go is less far
-
Wouldnt it be sick if the killer could pull survivors into the upside down, where it was a mirror of the normal map, kinda like freddy's current ability, but something more interesting than an action speed debuff, and instead of waking up, you leave through randomly spawned 'gates'. On top of that, you could veen say if a survivor is in the upside down long enough they are 'flayed' and can temporarily be possesed by the killer occasionally, allowing the killer to blow up the gen they're on or stop the heal, in a short period of time, before returning to its body, and knowing where the survivor is
-
I play trapper as one of my three mains, and am rank 1 with him (thought i do have 1250 hours). I agree he needs a QOL update, but not what you suggested. Instead they need to slightly increase the trap hitbox as sometimes people can run practically over them. I also think he should be less addon dependent by making him carry two traps by default, and be able to reset traps on the ground without picking them up
-
I've gotten all of them second or third try, they're really easy to get lol
-
You don't... you just don't
-
I get bored using it because it's no joke too easy (to be fair though i main billy, spirit and trapper and have 1250 hours). What i've started doing is hooking everyone twice and then using the mori for the third down, not the second
Edit: unless someone really annoys me, in which case enjoy the mori lol
-
im sorry but just no

As a Doctor Main, I say he's perfectly fine. I get 4ks with him all the time! (but I'm rank 15... sooooooo…)
He just needs "moldy electrode" to be in his base kit, cause his shock alone with no add-ons goes as far as my puppy who ran into the street to get the ball...
the funeral will be at 9:00 PM at [undisclosed location]
At rank 15, any killer is viable. I've only 4'k with freddy the past few days from rank 16 to 8
-
lol those survivors were so bad. Yeh your main problem is your being too predictable. You need to sometimes pull your hatchet up when the survivor runs though a pallet, and sometimes not respect it and just hit/run straight through it, otherwise the survivors will learn how your playing, and play to counter it the entire game, rendering your ability useless. That game you were only respecting pallets, so the dwight just kept running you round the same one, wasting time. You only caught him in the end because he was awful. Just be more unpredictable with your pallet respect, or learn which survivors fake throwing down pallets, and which pallet camp, and play against that
-
this post is just wrong. The tinkerer change was needed
-
#DeleteLegion
-
for billy its enduring + sloppy (brutal strength is so much worse)
for spirit and nurse it's nurses and sloppy
for trapper it's nurses and enduring (but sometimes sloppy)
i only used noed if it's a meme build and in my opinion the other perks you said are bad
-
I actually am worried, especially considering how much money i've put into this game. I will point out though that there is a correlation between this and survivor nerfs. People have always complained about this game being imbalanced, but many times i've tried to point out it needs to be imbalanced to make up for the fact that there are 4 survivors and 1 killer, It needs to be preferable to play survivor, as there needs to be 4 survivors for every 1 killer
-
@Dehitay said:
Survivor health progress is already slowed down if killer is in a certain range. Stopping it just gets abused by survivors who are more likely to hook camp than the killer. What BHVR should actually do is make the 8 meter killer aura reveal from Kindred baseline and then rework Kindred to where the hooked survivor gets a percentage of objective points from all generator repairs while on the hook, and all other survivors get 15/20/25% faster gen repair speed while the killer is in 8 meters of a survivor hooked using Kindred.
Thats a rumor and isnt true
-
worst idea ive ever seen. There are soooo many better solutions
-
How about its an action that takes 14/10/6 seconds, and once used, the pallet looks different (so people can tell its a reused pallet), and upon being used it will automatically break, similarly to spirit fury
-
I thought i was being really original and clever face camping with noed. Like hehe, why does no one else think of this, so i'd face camp every survivor i caught until death
-

I thought that you need to actually escape to get the extra bloodpoints from the Escape! Cake. I was new tbh, and very stupid
ummm... i have 1250 hours on the game, and i still thought that lol

my problem is im gay n i love trapper

awful

its nearly always 3pm i think in pacific standard time, and for me its 7pm (in the UK)

yeah I acknowledge that she's far too OP with some addons. Mainly purple and pink. They need a fat nerf.
yeh. I really hope they start making base kits better, and addons worse

As far as I can tell, the snares are basekit and you can switch to pallets with addons.
I watched the clip, as he says "take snares and switch to pallets", which grammatically makes no sense as it makes out you have both when you don't, so i guess we don't actually know yet. Originally they wanted pallets to be the primary one, so i assumed it still was
-
@anarchy753 said:
If snares are restricted to add ons, he will be absolute crap without them.
"Dream Pallets" being his only ability within a chase, and the only upside of them being asleep (don't even pretend the lullaby is a real bonus) means all he has is map mobility with a long warning duration to leave the area.
60 seconds to fall asleep is an insane amount of time for a really mediocre change in power, and there's an object to instantly wake up, so it doesn't even last.
We already have a killer with fake pallets, it's a MINOR bonus from add ons and he's still considered pretty damn low tier with a power on top of that, why would 'dream pallets' be considered any better? He NEEDS the slowing snares to be considered any better than he is already.
Pretty accurate summary
-
How many hours do you have on the game? She's very mind game based an is not fun at all for newer players. I play her and like both playing with and against her, though i will admit it's not fun to face some of her best addons. Prayer beads are strong but i like the jump scares lol, so i'm not including them

1) This problem also exists with the Shape`s power. Probably will not be fixed.
2) Yup, it sucks. I will just tunnel/camp OoO bois.
3) Swf = nurse.
I don't think the shape is as bad in corn personally. Though i know it's still an issue. Also i don't really enjoy camping when i play killer, so unless they provided a better alternative i doubt i'll buy him

If they add dream snares, he's fine at base.

@Redd take it from a Spirit main who plays her at high ranks without addons, she's not addon reliant. If you think that, you're terrible with her. That's me putting it simply. And she is far better than Billy, you're again, probably not good with her.
I used to think she was addon reliant, she's just really hard without addons, but still definitely better than Billy and close to Nurse. You're wrong about her. A better example is Myers.
I agree with both you and @Redd , as i believe that she is strong without addons (i play her a lot too). However, i also believe her addons are very strong, and with them she is FAR too powerful (if the player knows what they're doing)
-
@Redd said:
Most of the killers are too reliant on add ons.
The Spirit is the best example of why I find this frustrating. She is only in the top 3 when using add-ons. Which everyone just assumes she'll have? This is why I find balance discussion and tier lists for this game frustrating. Because the spirit is a significantly worse killer without add-ons that basically needs them to be viable. But everyone acts as if she's god-tier better than Hillbilly who I must point out is one of the few killers not completely reliant on their add-ons to do well.
So making new Freddy too reliant on his add-ons to be able to do anything would just be par for the course for them sadly.
Unfortunately i believe you're right. Billy is one of my favourite killers, mainly because i don't feel too scummy playing with addons, and don't feel incredibly weak without them. I also play trapper, who is completely useless without addons, and spirit, who is decent but OP with them, once again proving that in the past year and onward, the devs have more and more been making killers reliant on addons. A big mistake if you ask me
-
Is this a joke or what?
@tehshadowman33 said:
Again, everyone keeps underestimating Freddy. He's really good in the current meta. He flat out denies Borrowed Time and unsafe unhooks. After next patch comes in on Tuesday next week, he's going to be unstoppable. Freddy will not have to deal with MoM!
Next Tuesday, Freddy becomes a true nightmare. Thank you MoM nerf!

@Gardenia said:
If I remember correctly in the anniversary stream they said they're not sure if the powers will be separate via add-ons or if they'll include it in his base kit.
So they're still working on it, it's not final.
Yes but in the most recent Q and A stream they confirmed they how now decided officially to make the snares a power given by addons to replace pallet traps
-
These are really nice, small changes that i'd love to see implimented
-
@se05239 said:
If Behavior's following their trends, baseline Freddy is going to be really underwhelming. Perhaps.. passable with add-ons, yeah.
I still think he will be better than before, but i think he will be quite strong with addons (at least above average with purple or pink ones). They seem to love making killers that are never balanced as they're too weak without addons and too strong with them ):
-
I haven't played in like 2 moths as i'm in exam season, but I've only got 1 to go (of 23) after tomorrow (((:
-
I think billy is balanced, but only after dedicated servers come out as that small buff to survivors (from knowing if they will get hit) is enough to make an even playing field
-
Honestly i got where did they go first try a few months back with one friend. I got so lucky
-
I have all the ones from the Freddy and Legion dlc, and wounded healer but that's it
-
this confused me soooo much too when it first happened to me. It's an addon.
-
I've already commented once but i've always loved the crotus prenn asylum map (sorry if i spelt that wrong and i dont know if that's a map or region so i'm talking about the nurse map). I think it's a well made map with open areas and nicely spaced loops so both sides have a chance. The main building as well has lots of potential for mind games as survivors can switch between loops and killers can you walls and gaps in them to their advantage, sneaking round a different way
-
I like being able to go on the roofs in Haddonfield. Always makes for some stealthy mind games, especially when as a survivor you leave the roof one way whilst the killer enters from another

Small game needs a totem counter. No brainer that should have been implemented a long time ago.
Probably combine some perks like wake up and hope, wglf amd we'll make it, premonition and alert.
Tbh i just think there should be a totem counter anyway, to reduce the gap between solo and SWF
-
I think ruin should be a base part of the game but to get rid of it there should be some ritual point on every map. Not totems as it shouldn't be something to find. instead a challenge (a second objective) that can be done to get rid of a lesser version of ruin. You either continue to play with a debuff, or go for the second objective

Yeah,I know.
But it isnt completely useless at least.
Answering your question:
No One Left Behind definitely needs a rework.
Random Idea for a NOLB rework: after unhooking a survivor, the unhooked survivor is fully healed, but your aura will be shown to the killer for 10 seconds and you will be exposed for 40 seconds.
I actually like the idea. it would be nice if there were more good perks like this suggestion as it would mix up the meta
-
Edit: i calmed down
