Devs you know what to do.

Hag and Huntress should be moved down a tier or two. Nurse should be S tier as I've seen many console nurses who play great, just takes more learning. Billy should be A tier, I've always considered him that tho so might be a bit unpopular. Slinger should be top of A tier while Plague should be B tier. Finally, Blight should be top of S tier.
Ofc, this is all my opinion, and I respect yours.

So is a KPOP chapter but here we are.
Compariing DDLC with A kpop chapter is a tad bit different.
In the case of DDLC, it's a licensed chapter. Due to such it would be very restrictive and hard to add in.
Kpop on the other hand is a general theme, and any theme can make it's way into a video game if made correctly (which was done extremely well with Trickster imo).

Although I don't play survivor much anymore, it was that its just unlikely to get all 5 totems cleansed in one game due to lack of communication available. I've had games where I've cleansed 3 or 4 totems, yet the rest of my team couldnt finish that last totem or two.
I'd be more than fine with NoeD in one of two cases.
The first option is that they make dull totems an actual secondary objective, cause as of now the most that they do is simply reward points with a chance of stopping a perk appearing at end game. Not everyone uses this perk and often it means you're team has collectively waisted 80 seconds in a match, which doesnt sound like a lot but it is actually a lot.
The second option, and the one I'd prefer, a totem counter at base. I remember being gutted when I found out this would be tied to a perk as although it allows you to receive information, it doesnt allow you to send any to your teammate. Even if said counter was located on your screen permanently, in shack, basement, or possibly a random point on the map, it would help greatly and would, in my eyes, make it so survivors have very little to complain about.
-
The only thing I'll accept is a surrender button, similar to that if Valorent. All players on the team that are alive must give up so theres no new "dc for hatch" method. Additionally, the killer should be awarded a certain percentage of bp extra in each category (maybe 5% per survivor who gave up) while each survivor should have a reduction in bp in each category to make this feature not used too often (Maybe 5% per gen left after they give up).
-
Killer main here who's never actually played swf (mainly because no one really wants to play with me + I dont enjoy survivor too much).
Theres a few reasons, the first and main one being not every swf is a sweat squad. Many of them play for fun and dont genrush, and most survivors you face probably are swf but not sweat squads, you just dont notice.
Second of all, you adressed in another comment that swf would get used to it eventually because there used to be no swf. You couldnt be more wrong on this. Before swf were a thing, people would lobby dodge until they got with their friends, greatly increasing queue times.
Do you know what else increases queue times? Separating swf and solos. This would cause huge queue increases especially for the swfs, cause what killer would logically step up to face one when they can have a relatively easy game every game against solos.
The only thing that your points proved to me is that solo survivor needs a buff.
-
This + other stuff possibly.
-
As long as they bring some sort of chatting system to swf too, so they can type in the lobby. This would allow things like sharing each others discord.
-
Not too bad I suppose, wouldve preferred bp upfront with all the cakes but I'm not one to complain about a bloodhunt.
-
Glad you got them all done, especially with your panic attacks. Hope you havent had any recently though ^^

Always considered Huntress stronger please explain
To me, Slinger is stronger due to three main reasons.
The first one is the TR. Slingers is smaller, hard to hear, and he can shoot you from outside his TR if hes using M&A. Huntress has a small TR but a huge lullaby, relatively easy to hear, and on most maps you cant be hit outside this lullaby area.
The second reason is their zoning. Huntress can only zone once she's drawn out her hatchet, as she isnt a threat beforehand. Slingers existence zones survivors. He can scope quickly leaving little reaction time, causing survivors to take different movements.
Finally, Slingers power is useful on almost every loop due to his ability to shoot quickly. Huntress on the other hand is a 110 killer on many loops.
This isnt to say Huntress doesnt have her own advantages, but to me Slingers advantages outweighs Huntresses.
-
Works fine for me, although I'm on Series X. Can I ask what you play on?
-
Depends on what you're looking for.
Spirit is the strongest of the three, no doubt about it, and is the easiest of the three too. She does come with 3 fun perks aswell, however, I personally dont find her too fun to play.
Blight is to me the most fun of the three while being the hardest. Hes also the second strongest. His only real good perk is Undying, however Dragons grip can be fun too.
Finally, Oni is in between for both difficult and fun while being the weakest of the three albeit strong. Nemesis is good on certain builds and Zanshin is good for newer player and blood Echo isnt half bad on other killers.
Personally I'd pick Blight, however you're free to pick any of the three.

You mean the same thing Trickster has?
I never found that incredibly annoying. Or annoying at all for that matter. It's such a minor complaint I'm surprised he received the titlle for "most hated"
Trickster is atleast weak on a lot of loops with high walls due to him taking a while before he can throw his first knife. Slinger can shoot relatively quickly at the speed of a max charged hatchet.
Personally Slinger isn't my most hated killer, but I can understand why people put him up there.
-
It's not toxic, but personally I dont like it. If I didnt play well enough to get a kill then I dont like getting one for free, and I'll almost always down them and drop them at the gate.

Personally, I've found Blight to be the only other killer besides Nurse that doesn't get screwed due to map rng.
There are some maps that he just doesnt do well on for me. Lerys, RPD and to an extent, The Game and Hawkins are bad maps, due to them being inside, making his rushes alot weaker.
Additionally, he struggles on some of the Coldwind maps as theres very little to hit off + if he tries to rush into cow tree he slides off of it.
Otherwise he shares the same strengths and weaknesses with most killers, other than maybe Red Forests realms which I find he does well on.

I've actually been away from DBD for a while, only recently got back around the time Trickster was released.
How exactly is Deathslinger toxic or hated? He is just a slightly worse Huntress. If the people who play him are toxic, that's on the people who play him, not the killer himself.
He has a hard to hear TR and the existence of his gun makes it so that he can zone survivors, even if he doesnt aim.
-
I'm happy to say the only perk I use here on Blight is BBQ.
-
Remove every killer except Nurse and Spirit from that list and you're mostly right.
Blight is too map rng, PH both has too much map rng and has no map mobility, twins isnt strong enough after their nerf and Huntress is just a weaker Slinger.
That's not to say you cant win with these killers, it's just that they arent extremely reliable unless you're really good with them + with some get a good map.
-
As someone who's almost exclusively played killer for a few months, including Spirit herself, its because she is the second strongest killer in the game while being easy and having very little counterplay.
Yes there may be killers that are easier, but none are as strong. Additionally, many killers that you have to do certain things against, such as doctor, are in B or C tier, which means although they arent the most enjoyable to face, atleast you can win against them.
-
If I lose, send "Thanks x" or some ######### like that. If I win ask them if I'm a noob then how bad are they if they lost to me.
-
Sorry for you having to experience this dude. As others have mentioned, report it to Xbox. I do believe Xbox even let you know when they take action on one of your reports.
-
You dont have to...but personally I find it more fun to play nice as it keeps the game closer, making it more competitive for both sides.
-
How I did it was 99% a gen and have a toolbox with me + OoO. If you can, try that.
-
I made a rant post after DS got nerfed, which made me take a break. Otherwise no, I've never really wanted to quit it full time.

Have you tips to use Whispers correctly? I used it a bit, but each time it's up, I feel clueless. (I'm still learning not to lose Survivor from my line of sight!)
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2362804#Comment_2362804
Thank you, I'm doing my best to learn English by myself. I'm French.
Most of the time, Adrenaline comes when I don't need it... But it's been weeks I switch between it and Spine Chill. I'm still learning how to run the Killer, and my timing to vault isn't the best yet. I was wondering if SC + Resilience really make a difference between being hit or avoiding the swing.
You're the second to say Pop, I think I'm gonna give it a try.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2362814#Comment_2362814
Nurse's, I didn't think about this one... I like aura reading perks.
Goodluck at learning it then ^^ Learning new languages is hard but it seems like its paying off for you as you seem mostly fluent!
As for if it makes a difference or not; it can against good killers if you play the loop right. A good killer will almost always know what distance they can land a hit at, so if you're running Spine Chill and Resilience it not only reduces this distance but it also messes with the killers muscle memory as they've missed a hit that they thought they would hit. Depending on the loop and map, this could cost the killer a lot of time and could possibly be the difference between your team escaping and your team dying. Both perks are good too outside of their effects with windows which makes me encourage their use even more.
-
First of all, I'd just like to mention your English is really good. I'm assuming by the last line it's not your first language, and if so I thought you were natural with it before reading that line.
Second of all, I'd say use Dead Hard over Sprint Burst if you're doing a vault build. Both perks are great, but with Resilience alot of your time will be spent injured, meaning Dead Hard provides more value. Additionally, itll help alot when using it to get to a window as a killer may underestimate your vaulting speed.
Third of all, I'd use Spinechill. The main reason is obviously that your build revolves around speed vaulting, and you can't really have this build without Spine Chill. Additionally, Spine Chill provides info throughout the match, while Adrenaline is a one use perk that although excels in swf, isnt an amazing perk in solo queue due to you having no control of when it's used.
Finally, I'm not a great Huntress, but I'd reccomend Pop Goes the Weasel as she doesnt have enough map pressure to warrant Hex: Ruin. As for that last perk spot, Shadowborn isn't a bad shout on her, however dont use any perks that effect your terror radius.
-
Nerf or rework as it's just not a well balanced perk for solo survivors. Against swf, it's a mostly balanced however.
-
Ghostfaces always seem to be not necessarily sweaty, but toxic when I face them. Same with Pig. They tend to not give two shits about playing nice and camp + tunnel more often (aswell as tbag).
Sweaty however, I'd say Nurses, Spurits and Hags. They don't necessarily play toxicly, but they often mass slug early in the game and are extremely efficient with their power.
-
Original. As much as I want an Until Dawn chapter, I'd prefer licensed chapters stay for the anniversary from now on.

Spirit is balanced but ok
Not really but ok.
-
Not yet. When consoles have been "fixed" in two weeks or so then sure, but up until then no. The whole reason they were disabled in the first place were due to last gen console issues anyways.
-
Unpopular opinion but it needs a nerf if anything.
-
Although I want a DS buff, this would be way too far and would basically bring back the OP part about old DS.
-
I'd assume so, as unless I'm mistaken, legions killer instinct relates to survivors inside your terror radius, even if they dont hear it. Would be interesting to test however.
-
Good solo perk, could use buffs to make it better however.
-
Marginally Hillbilly. Better Map Pressure and his power shuts down many loops. Both Wraith and Billy to me are A tier.
-
I think this is due to it being around all ranks, not just red ranks.
If not then I'm as confused as you are.
-
Your team does gens?
-
His power just sounds boring. Another ranged killer with a weak seeming side effect. If Nemesis is B tier then this guy wouldnt make it far.
Additionally, all the perks seem weak. Hex: Lost Children only really helps if all survivors go to the same gate, and even then it doesnt warrant playing with 3 perks for most of the game.
The Eight Pages is probably his best perk, and even then that's not good, as if you're getting Bloodlust you're just committing too long to the chase. It sounds like it would work well with NoeD, but then you're practically only using 2 perks.
Finally, Something Awful sounds extremely weak. 12 seconds for most survivors and 20 seconds for the obsession is practically nothing, and suffers the same issue that poised does. It's just way too situational to make any use.
I'll never be opposed to a chapter if it's made well, but this doesnt sound fun.
-
@WishIcouldmain said:
Top things his hitboxes need to be cleaned(not fun to zoom to a gen and it be fixed because you hit a branch three feet away).
Animations need to be cleaned (not fun to loose potential hits and downs because your animations basically blind you).
Add-ons need to be improved (Some of the absolute worst in the game you become 4.4, you cool down when a flashlight is on you)
Fix those things and his numbers would go up again.
All this, maybe remove his scream too (atleast on the killers side).

Of all the threads to revive, this hits hard :/

So a perkless nurse will not have a harder time than if she has perks.
Hot take.
That's not what he said though...
-
An Until Dawn chapter would be amazing ngl,
-
Probably never as the creator of the games has said he's no longer working on them, and due to his representation around when he announced it, I doubt it would be good representation for the game.
Additionally, it would without a doubt be the most controversial chapter to date, due to majority of the community being on one of two extremes, those being A. I'd do anything for FNAF to be in the game or B. I'd quit dbd if FNAF was in the game.
Due to this, it's an overall no from me.
-
Other than maybe Midwich, they're all fine. Some maps need the opposite and need better hook spawns.
-
P3 50d Feng, Cheryl and Leon aswell as got Jill to level 40. Not too bad tbh.
-
Jeff and Leon come close though.
-
First of all, wrong category. As far as I'm aware this is not a technical issue unless all console players are ai.
Second of all, when I play killer I can confirm this happens amongst all players, and I'm rank one so I get a general idea of it.
Finally, you can turn cross play off and play with PC players only if you wish, as long as you yourself are a PC player.
