Keep on trying new decks until you find one that works.
When starting a push, place someone with high health at the front.
Have atleast one unit to deal with air and one unit that is air based. Also have a swarm and a building that isnt a spawner if possible.
Just because a card is of higher rarity does not mean it’s good.
-
It has its flaws, but it works much better than people give it credit for.
-
Cheaters will actively try to bypass this if it was removed.
-
Would original MoM be able to trump both of these?
-
If I’m awake at 3am then usually it means I’m doing #########, so I usually listen to anything grandson made as it fits my mood at said time.
-
I'll start of by saying I really like how much the cosmetics have improved over time, and despite most people hating them I do like sets (although I do wish most had their head/weapon piece unlocked).
Furthermore most of their killer reworks have been for the better, with the only one I have reason to dislike being the Freddy one as a certain forum user keeps on saying original Freddy was better, so I take their word for it.
I like the originality of the last few non licensed killers we've had (Twins, Trickster, Artist) even if Twins is still a buggy mess and Trickster isn't the strongest.
Lore has improved greatly and it's clear when you compare early lore (such as looking at any of the original 4 survivors/3 killers lore entry) and I think the archives were a great addition to expand on this lore.
Despite me not having played the game in a month, the game was still enjoyable when I left and it felt fun to play with random combinations without the intent on getting a 4k.
Finally, like you mentioned, the more recent chapters have included some great perks, some that are strong and some that are fun, shaking up the meta a bit which was getting stale on both sides.
-
There is definitely something in place that affects perk chances in a sense, although it doesn't necessarily restrict the better perks and sometimes the better perks have a bigger chance.
What I've noticed is that if you don't claim a perk, specifically in the earlier levels of the blood web, it'll keep on appearing. Doesn't matter if its DS or Flip Flop. So you just seem to be getting unlucky with it.
-
Well I've got a few I suppose
- Haddonfield and RPD aren't as bad as people make them out to be and usually they're quite fun.
- Despite me often claiming I'm a Billy main, even before I quit I hadn't played him in about a month as I was getting bored of him presumably out of repetiveness.
- I literally never use any add ons on killer unless I'm doing a meme build or new to a killer.
- Solo survivor gets me way more frustrated than I like to admit.
-
Well now I have another reason to not download this game back it seems.
Hope this isn't true however.

Do ban just like it does with disconnect, problem solved.
Do note 50% or so of players aren't SWF still, I don't see this game gonna "die" because SWF left.
Disconnect won’t necessarily stop people (unless it’s major but that would be even more harmful), although it may push some players away.
Also I’m curious as to where you got those numbers from.

If SWF is removed from online match. i come back to play killer and my friends are too. Playing killer against SWF party is very stresfull.
Following such, two things I believe would happen. Possibly one, possibly both, or possibly even none.
Killer would have much much much longer queues, similar to current survivor queues, and a lot of the playerbase would leave.
Survivors would receive buffs, possibly even more than what are planned right now. Or killers would receive nerfs. And then we would be right back at square one, killers complaining about stress and survivors being OP, even during times when the killer clearly isn’t good which I unfortunately see way too often.
It isn’t as easy as removing swf, and like I said none of these could happen, one or both could too. It’s how I would predict these events would logically go. Personally however, the game is absolutely heading in the right directing reducing the gap by buffing solo survs and keeping swf in the game.

He will.
It is not permanent.
That’s great to hear then, thank you both for informing me of this.

Then they doesn't deserve SWF tbh, if you actually think about game health.
If we’re thinking about game health, I’m sure this game would die without swf existing, or simply go back to what it used to be. Lobby dodging till people got with their friends.

I agree we can choise to play with SWF party or not. If you enjoy DBD with VC, you should play custom match. VC spoil DBD's View.
Not everyone has a 5th friend to play with, nor does everyone enjoy playing killer.

How can people have fun using dead hard it's soo boring like I would rather waste it on a dumb perk like lucky Break lol
Fun is subjective. Some find the chasing aspect extremely fun so why wouldn’t they use a perk that gives them more time doing such?

Obviously when they get back they have to restart the week
If they get back.

Oh look a Doctor, let me use Calm Spirit!
A Nurse? Hah enjoy waiting 20 minutes I’ll find an easy killer instead.
A stealth killer, time to use Spinechill.
These are just three scenarios that I thought of in 30 seconds as to why it should not happen.

Swamp and haddonfield

Best: Stranger Things, brought somewhat decent Perks for both sides and a cool Killer to play and play against.
Worst: Ash vs Evil Dead, surprised nobody mentioned it. After nerfing MoM, the DLC has nothing except for a Survivor-Skin with some of the worst Survivor Perks in the game.
I think the only reason no one else has mentioned it is due to how forgetful it is.

Couldn't agree more with this list.
-
It's only purpose is so it can have a full set...I'll admit as much as I do praise BHVRs cosmetic department, I hate when they do this when they couldve given it even a small change. Luckily this is only the second time its occurred iirc.
Now there could be a small change to it for all I know, I havent seen much things dbd related in a month outside of the forums, but if it's the exact same then I wouldn't exactly be suprised.
-
Bill is second, David third, and honourable mention to Feng Min who has the best for new players.
-
Depends on the build majorly.

Only maps I hate are Swamp and Haddonfield, this is probably my third least favourite realm however.

What games are you playing that have less generous battle passes than Dead by Daylight?
Looking at the free pass aspect specifically in both cases, Rocket leagues free pass usually contains joke items and the occasional loot box which you are bound to get rubbish from. The other game which may have changed since I last played it would be Fortnite, the game that really started battle passes gaining popularity. Most of the stuff in their free pass are things that are beyond pointless.
-
Atleast compared to the other two games I've participated in with battle passes, this is quite generous.
-
Without a doubt Joey
-
See you tomorrow! (Please keep the chain going folks)
-
People still hate Spirit?
-
Any of the Legion members, I don't think I could ever put the effort into the more complicated ones, nor am I tall enough for majority of the roster.
-
Should other things be taken into account? Absolutely. But the primary focus should be kills/escapes with other things effecting it to a lesser extent.
-
Has value practically every game unless you win before it activates so yes.

Just looking at the list it seems like the list has quiet a few perks pushed up a tier because the bottom tiers ran out.
I mean how in the world is "Hex: Thrill of the Hunt", "Monitor and Abuse"(core on some killers but useless on the rest aka niche), "Agitation", and "Hex:Retribution" not all niche perks? Just to name a few.
Edit: Aka take the positions with a grain of salt due to perks being pushed up.
Monitor, Thrill and Agitation I can all understand being where they are, Monitor is pretty good on most killers, Thrill is great with the coh meta and Agitation reduces the need to slug as you waste less time hooking a survivor. I will agree however that retribution should be pushed down a tier.
-
A killer that's both fun to play and fun to face, furthermore he rewards smart plays with his portals and shreds. Has a bit of everything from chase power to map pressure so even more reason to play him.

This thread will be quite sickening.
-
If I wasnt on a break of the game right now (which may be permanent) I'd say the future and current original content. Most of the licensed killers I dislike, and all the three killers I usually played were original.
-
Thanks for this as always dude! Much better and easier to read through these than watch the stream ^^
Hope it didn't take you too long this time.
-
I’m interested to see where they go with it
-
I’m in the same boat, quit about two and a half weeks back, been loving rocket league, hades and ring of pain since.

Or survivors should start using perks against totems -_-
Similar to how solo survivors are told to run Kindred, Windows, DS, BT, Bond e.t.c just to communicate with the team somewhat and counter camping/tunneling.
Stuff like this is why I haven’t played survivor in so long. Too many perks are needed with only four perks slots available, and this feature that the devs are early in developing for solo queue (showing what your team is doing in the hud) still won’t help with noed too much.
Note this doesn’t mean I believe survivors need more than four perk slots, just incase that wasn’t obvious.
-
Solo queue can't counter it efficiently due to lack of communication.
-
Shouldn't exist in it's current state simply due to solo queue.
-
Lethal Purseur to get the ball rolling immediately.

I heavily disagree with this sentiment and here's why: Oni is a character that varies wildly in power based on who is using him, you have to be very picky with who you target first, and IMO lethal pursuer is what pushed him to top 5 material. A smart Oni can secure an early hit pretty much regardless of whatever circumstance he is in, and once even just one M1 is secured, the game can be over on certain maps. With Akitos crutch + Lion Fang you get the perfect amount of time to 4 man slug a team, and on maps like dead dawg, this made him extremely dangerous. I understand how you can think he is weak, but teams would have to play in a very meticulous way to deny a good Oni of his power. But at that point I doubt even a Good Nurse or Blight could deal with a team that coordinated and experienced.
Firstly, usually add ons arent taken into consideration when ranking a killer, but even with those add ons its debatable where he would place. Even if CoH didnt exist, he would be the 7th/8th best killer in the game for me, behind Nurse, Blight, Spirit, Artist, Hag, Huntress and then Oni or Twins being in that 7th and 8th spot. Even with lethal, he has nothing against a good team. Other than maybe Hag and even a bigger maybe with Huntress, those characters don't struggle getting the first hit quickly, and all of them except Hag (again) can use lethal to a much bigger extent than what Oni can. All these killers above Oni deal with teams more efficiently and are less reliant on mistakes. Oni relies on mistakes to get the ball rolling. When he's in his power he is without a doubt extremely dangerous, but as I've stressed multiple times here, he has to work to get his power which can easily be denied by good survs.
-
Reduce her camping capabilities while make it so her traps can't be destroyed by flash lights.
-
Personally, atleast against good teams, he never was in the top 5.
-
Just mentioning this, unlike killers, all survivors share MMR meaning point 2 on the survivor side is invalid.
