I disagree with your opinion.

Plus what does blocking do? Make it less likely to matchmake with that person? Stop it completely?
only prevents the person to add you as friend. you can still get matched with them and still have to read what they are saying.

If incentives are all that you care I think you should play killers lol
even with 100% bonus I think killers will generally get more BP than survivors on average, especially with periodical party ribbons/flans/cake, and survivor pudding from your own offering pool.
yes they get more bp on average

Do you actually have data on this? That's really interesting.
OP, I think Windows is really good to know what resources your team has used. Empathy also lets you know how chases are going, vastly underrated.
nightlight.gg gives you this data without a lot of effort.

i play 95% soloQ and these are the most used survivor perks by others i play with (from most to least used):

- Self-Care
- Sprint Burst
- Kindred
- Unbreakable
- Off the Record
- Borrowed Time
- Quick & Quiet
- Resilience
- Decisive Strike

yes

its not that hard. you go to the basement, wait in front of the chest kill everyone who dares to touch your chest.
when other survivors bring offerings, you might let the chest toucher go. when not, you kill them also.
-
they are still quick thinking about this problem
-
i marked only one of 100 games as slugging, but it was also marked als toxic so it was most likely a ego trip.
-
we need one that can repair gens. for every seconds he repairs a gen, the entity blocks all other gens for 3 seconds. like if he finish a gen, all others are blocked for 270 seconds unless survivor bring the entity offerings to speed up the progress.
he is called the mechanic and can drop oil spills what let survivors slide around.
-
play ghostface and tbag them back
-
today out of 45 games two were funny because of boop the snoot.
-
Also Rebecca Chambers has clown sized shoes
-
just hit the healer and get some extra points.
-
that makes me sad
-
just give the survivors a self pickup debuff when downed by victor
-
Well, yesterday i can't catch up to a fellow survivor for healing. He was always slightly faster than me. It "fixed" itself after he noticed I'm running behind him.
I also had a Spirit that was way to fast while phasing.
My conclusion after that was to stop playing for today.
-
Its also annoying to have DH on the ground because you pressed it early enough to trigger the exhaustion, but to late for endurance.
-
I miss skybilly
-
When nobody disconnects or suicides
-
Auto kick killer and survivor with a red ping over 60 seconds.

I agree, MMR just does not exist and it's a placebo
I have 2500 hours, and I can play a match against a 100 hour Wesker who just installed the game because of Resident Evil and then face a 3000 hour Huntress main in the next match, with my teamates ranging from urban evasion Neas to legacy Megs with 10k hours
same experience here. highlight of the day: 10 hour survivor in the lobby against a 2000 hour killer.
-
What about the slugging Killer that let you bleedout, or the teabagging Ghostface?
-
With mmr based on escapes for survivor its not very likely to go up in your mmr rating.
-
yes please
-
Where is all the cake / pudding?!
-
The biggest enemy for DH are killers playing on consoles. Their reaction time is sometimes way to high and your waste your DH while the killer is hitting thin air.
-
The german word for cake - "Kuchen" is also blocked.
-
When you are using steam it could be DoS. All other platforms dont leak your IP Address.
-
why not let the trap stay forvever on the gen until the killer kicks it or until someone repairs it. the person who repairs it gets it as item and can reuse it on the next gen
-
One out of 10 games from my soloQ experience

That I doubt. We’d have hatch stand-off V.2.
thats how i did my achivement. got hit on the hatch > opened the hatch > got hit again > got out.
-
you can open the hatch with a key between two killer hits

Not bad, we can do that. While we are at it, can we also apply a -500BP for every fast vault within 10m of an exit gates, if the killer is not around? Or -100BP per Flashlight click outside of blinding techs? Oh, this would be so fun for marcro clickers ... BTW, I am genuinly backing your idea up, so maybe -5k per hit is a bit much. Maybe make it start at -1k and add 1k to each consecutive swing.
yes please punish the flashlight clickers.
-
Hitting the survivor on the hook more than once when no other survivor is within 3 meters around the hook gives a -5k BP penalty per hit.
You get one hit for free to acknowledge a good fight and everything beyond that will be punished.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/347038/39-escape-rate-is-a-lie
Unless your at very top of killer-level like top 5%, All of your matches are balanced and perfectly winnable. its only at very high-level where swf vs solo balance exists. i.e if your top-level solo, you'll have lesser escape rate(15% less) then that of high mmr 4 man swf. it has vague implication that soloq players generally have a lower max-mmr then 4 man swf's so for example, if your soloq player that is good at the game, your max mmr is likely to range between 1800-1900 where as top MMR swf would range between 2000-2200 or something along those lines.
for everyone else, it's basically same. a team that has 4 solo players survivors that are 1500 MMR vs 4 man swf that is 1500 MMR would have same/similar escape rate since their overall success-rate for both teams is suppose to be arbitrarily equal. both teams are of equal skill against a killer that is 1500 MMR range. as said, swf doesn't give you an advantage if you are not stellar at dbd in the first place.
where can i see my mmr?
-
i bring Prove Thyself for the BP bonus since they took it away from WGLF
-
one thing makes me wonder. if survivor mmr is based on escapes and you are more likely to die than to survive, wouldn't that mean match making cant match equally skilled survivors together because everyone's mmr is low?
-
It's funny how someone could think that losing 61% of the games is for the majority of the playerbase a good experience.
-
If the survival rate of an average survivor is below 50% his mmr (that's based on exits thru the gate) will go down to rock bottom over time.
They should change how mmr is calculatet for survivors when the want kill rates above 50%.
-
they could make it, you have to gain tokens for healing other before you can use selfcare
-
"Small Game" cooldown will increased to 30 seconds.

back in 2021 the bubble was not a black hole

The Killer knows where CoH is immediatly and, more important, it takes ages to bless Hexes.
blessing dont give the killer a notification unless he knows where his hex is. and it takes 28 seconds to bless a hex (14 normal). also it does not trigger undying and prevents pentimento.
yes, in a tournament game you wouldn't bless a hex but you also wouldn't bring coh or ruin.

If you bless Hex-Totems, you should maybe not really give an opinion...
@Topic:
The first "Nerf" was more of a Rework. Ruin was still very strong and definitely more annoying to play against. But it was not free Slowdown anymore, because the Killer actually had to do something to get value, unlike before. Even tho, this "do something" go less with the Tinkerer-Buff, but eh.
And IMO the Nerf to disable it when a Survivor is dead would have been enough together with the Tinkerer-Nerf. Because when the Ruin-Totem is still up when a Survivor is dead (this rarely happened), then the Killer probably has enough pressure anyway. What killed the Perk was the reduction to 100% Regression and this was only done to rmove the Perk from the Meta.
explain why.
-
As someone who likes to bless hex totems with COH, I think they should bring back the old ruin.
-
I wonder if its PC only. Some youtuber don't have a bubble at all or a kindred is not blocked by the bubble (xbox)

How can you know the ping of your killer please ?
red ping symbol over the survivor names with a knife in it means that the killer has a ping over 200
-
basicly all russians have yellow to red ping on EU server. not fun as killer, not fun as survivor

Speaking of borrowed time, I've got a question.
Now that the base kit is 10 seconds, does that mean when you equip Borrowed Time that timer adds another 10 seconds making it a total of 20 seconds BT effect? What about with Guardian?
Thank you.
yes you get 20 seconds and runspeed boost stacks.
