People unironically believing that Midwich is a killer-sided map really shows the huge gap there is between casual and seasoned players.
depends heavily on the gen spawn and the killer.
-
mangled = reduces your healspead by 20%
oblivious = you can't hear the terror radius but chase music
incapacitated = you can't interact with things like gens, healing other people or use items
blindness = you can't see auras
-
genrush brings barely any bloodpoints and you don't pip in the red ranks.
but killers don't enjoy mindgaming anymore and just tryhard you out of the game
-
I think they should make another rainbow flag charm so everyone feels included.
-
just had a match with a player who had in his steam profile: "i like to play with people. just play and have fun together :D"
he tunneld the first one out of the game and facecamped the rest. guess thats how he thinks to have fun together
-
they should add 1 million bloodpoints for completing the tutorial as a starter.
-
It should give you 1 million bp bonus, so you can start at least one char halfway.
-
just don't disconnect or suicide if your presence still has value to the team.
-
i dont like swamp because i dont like hidding
-
2k / 2e gives the best BP ratio for all players. usually 25 - 30k for the survivors and 30k+ for the killer.
a killer snowballed a 4k early in the game gets less than 20k BP and survivors less than 10k. meanwhile survivors will have instantly a new game while the killer has to wait up to 10 minutes for a new match.
-
Status icons would be nice. could be range dependent based on your prestige level.
-
Before iri1: Check if its save to help
After iri1: Geronimooooooo!!!!!!11OneOneEleven!
-
"Get chased by the Killer for 360 seconds and escape thru the gate."
-
dont forget the disconnects. half of the games i lost because of disconnects or suicides.
-
just last match i lost one pip because two team member thought its a good idea to disconnect after 2 minutes into the game.
-
the best games are games where everyone gets over 30k bloodpoints. then nobody depips and nobody gets mad.
-
we could mix up. i get send with people who have 5000h+ and I'm by far the weakest one who usually dies first.

Could the other person have Overzealous or Deja Vu?
its like 25% jumps.
-
after 10 min waiting, they get lucky with the map / team and tryhard everyone out. get less than 15k bp and complain in the aftermatch chat because the match lasted only 5 minutes
-
survivors should bring more boons so you dont have to run so far?
-
25 as i tanked my mmr.
i will not recommend, you end up in hell.
-
i bring all the boons. on some maps only coh and shadowstep bring benefits, on maps like the game it drives the killer crazy.

Serious question: Is there a place for complaints in the amazon page?
yes you can contact the amazon support.
at least for me it was a waste of time.

If I've got nothing to do (holidays, days off, illness) 3-4 days.
If playing during regular working times about 2 weeks.
sounds about right

Yes, I was running Decisive Strike. Yes, I was running Off the Record. Yes, I took him to the shack. Still got tunneled straight out of the game. So fun, much skill wow 👏

the funny thing is, even if the whole team brought cake, you get tunneled and facecamped.
-
trapper gives me spine chills. the next two matches i dont vault thru windows because there might be a trap
-
the one i have seen was a facecamping one who only used his power to check if someone is close by. sad
-
sadly, disable crossplay only helps when you are on xbox or playstation.
i noticed the same issues as the thread starter. but its also on the survivor side, like sprint boosts or gen times.
replay of the whole game sounds like a great idea!
-
i noticed some weird jumps in gen repair speed when i sit togherer on a gen. like brand new parts but without a toolbox.
-
Territorial Imperative prevents me from looting the basement
-
you cant say "deutsch" but you can say "german".
-
make tunneling rewarding for the survivor and there will be less complaints about it.
like 5000 bonus bp when you get downed 30 sec after unhook. that would be 10k for the person who got tunneled out.
-
when they bring the chase directly to the hook
-
remember, bringing all boons as survivor is toxic gameplay.
-
No. Also no.

Really? I thought Mandy said it did. I don’t know from experience though. I probably misunderstood too.
about two weeks ago someone had the same question and it was stated by behaviour that the function only prevents friends requests. the thread seem to have gone somehow.
-
block only prevents them from adding you as a friend. it dose not even block the chat
-
still does nothing?
-
well, i just had a afk farming nurse, prestige 25.

To be honest if ghost face get's you to 99% then then just tap stalk to get it to 100% then you kinda deserve to go down, as far the hit box to break him out of it yer that is not the best you can be in front of him and not break him out or have no los and break him out of it. When i play him the amount of survivors that just don't look around them when doing a gen is the reason i can 99% them.
revealing ghostface is bugged as hell

This may not be how it is, but my assumption is that the current design of matchmaking puts four random players of not the same MMR (so, very likely of entirely different skill levels aswell), may calculate or may not calculate the average, and puts the killer with a few times higher MMR than each survivor has. I don't think, it'd count the MMR of all survivors in total and put a killer with that high MMR against them.
However, I have no evidence or proof to support my assumption. It's all based on my own experiences (I do play Solo Queue 24/7).
explains the current situation very well
-
Survivors dodge lobbies because of that too
-
looks like your mmr didn't fit the killer nor the teammates.
complain about mmr not your teammates, they might jet didn't know it better.
-
I wonder why you cant scream as survivor to gain aggro from the killer.
-
make the gen 99 and then heal
-
They still have to get thier timing right.
-
they could add a basic communication in soloQ.
-
70 and unsure if i should get the premium
-
as a survivor main i can tell you the escape rate is below 10% in soloQ
as a killer main i can tell you the escape rate is above 90% in soloQ
-
Like some of you mention, its unfulfilling for both parties.
As a killer you can shorten the time by hooking. The risk of a hatch escape is the same if you let bleed him out or hook him. But you gain some time in which the remaining survivor can make mistakes or hope that he slugged person leads you.
As a survivor you can bring "Unbreakable" to get up by yourself or "We're Gonna Live Forever" if you want to pickup someone more safely. But that cost you at least one perk slot for a very specific situation in that you already have lost.
Seems like this situation should be reworked to shorten it or add a useful counterplay or both to make it more enjoyable for the killer and both survivors.
