Overall map RNG is something that have to be addressed in the future. The same map can be a sure win for the killer or an absolute disaster just how things spawn.
its hook dead zones for killers and zones without any pallets or window for survivors but with two gens.

maybe because some charms are only recognizable in a certain size or no longer look good.

I play soloQ and my escape rate goes up to 11.

these standoffs on the hook are not a good game mechanic.
just the fact that the camera is constantly being jerked around when you're hanging on the hook and someone is trying to unhook you is more than annoying and is often exploited by toxic players.

I play from ps without cross play to prevent (or reduce, I don't know maybe is possible to cheat on ps?) cheaters. I don't think I met cheaters, maybe lag switch (that can be considered a cheat).
the fact that you're playing on console explains it. killers on console always feel like for me they're half a second behind (i always DH to early). connected to your opponents on console that's ~1 second.

Because the survivor one doesn't stop them using the item until they use it, the survivor one is also stronger than the killer one
depends on the situation i guess. they should have gave both the same.

From my experience one can practice as much sportsmanship as they want and still get their teeth kicked in. There is no quid pro quo for that in this game.
Therefore there is no incentive for that outside ones own character and moral guidelines.

that kind of gameplay destroys the game. its to blame the player and the developer for that.
there is that thing called sportsmanship. many forget this when playing online.

by feel in 90% of my soloQ plague games someone gives up in the first 5 minutes against plague. in 5% of the games someone is constantly cleaning and in the rest where everyone plays normal plague gets she demolished because she is just an m1 killer without her power.

In these matches I've had some really weird (to me) messages in the end-game lobby, when the matches were over.
What happened in these matches: Basicaly matches were going pretty quick, survivors were not lucky and they've made a lot of mistakes and missplays, which led them to do only 1 gen while everyone were already on death hook. I was done with the event thingy, I transfer all points by this point.
What I've done exactly after: So seeing survivors not having a good match, I decided to prolonge the game just for them to do gens, I purposely were braking the chases, and tried to chase them down without using a power (I was playing a Hag). In the meantime, I noticed that they are done with all gens and they probably done with the event thingy, so I decided to kill 1 this survivor that I was chasing. After I killed him, I went for another survivor near the gate, and killed her as well. Other 2 escaped from the trial.
Why I've done this: I know that there was a rank reset, so I thought, "If I kill them right of the bat, they will lose a pip and will have a little ammount of bp earned", me as well tho, I'm not a fan of a quick matches, coz I care for a good ammount of bp.
What we've had in the end:
- No one depiped.
- Everyone have 30-45k bp.
- Probably everyone were done with event.
I'm not sure if they've had fun or not, but I did.=)
What they said to me in the end-lobby, were pretty random opinions:
- Gg, thank you!
- Why are you farming?
- Can killers play this game normally?
- Gg, ty.
- Can you just hook us and stop being a "douchebag"?
Whenever I tried to type, they just instantly left, after Idk... 3-4 of such matches, I just start wondering: Am I doing something wrong?
Do they want me to kill them as quick as I can, so everyone will depip, everyone will waste their offerings for bp?
Is this actually a farming, when you play the game normally till the situations like this?
As much as I don't want to depip, I don't want them to depip as well, is this a bad thing?
This is weird to me. -_-
I would be happy if more killers like you would play.

JK. You might look into your hard disk usage. DBD seems to use sometimes up to 150 mb/s reading for me.

for number 3: as soon as the endgame starts the map darkens like in dredge nightfall (maybe a little bit less) for both the survivor and the killer, also all aura reading is gone for both and all scratch marks or terror radius are gone but all get the ability to hear steps and breathing better.

you have to be on the hook after 30 seconds into the chase. anything else is bad manners according to the killers handbook.

its just sad

also killer i faced seem to tryhard for any not obvious reason. had more facecamping and tunneling since the event started as the last 3 weeks combined

I feel you! Just ask the good people after the game if you can add them to your friends list and if they want to play together even without voice. It's better to play with known good people without communication then seeing everyone urban evade around while you die on the hook.

Looks like with the new rift a lot of less desirable players came back. on the survivor side (bodyblocking and heal tapping) and on the killer side (4 minute whole team bleedout).

today i had a pit on garden of joy. they seem to be still in game.

That's why you met at the bar with the survivors and have a drink after 10 minutes.

for me its most of the time a ping issue. when it's nemesis and the killer has red ping, i know i will get hits with his tentacle that wouldnt happen with normal ping.
