Idek if the Netflix is DbD related
-
Try posting them on reddit. They always seem to get more traction there.
-
This was... genuine art. Bravo! Bravo!

@Gcarrara I'm trying to get this ingame, call it a vision heh
If I had to choose a FNAF killer for DbD, it would have to be Springtrap. However, with the effort you put into this, I could be happy either way 😁
-
If we're sticking EXCLUSIVELY to TV shows and movies, then my boi Dr. Sam Loomy of Doomy is my pick.
-
So would then gen start regressing down from 100% and slowly go to 0? Or would it just instantly go to 0?
-
As unlikely as it is: Jason Voorhees
He's one of the most iconic characters in horror!
-
Congrats!
-
Thank you for sharing.
Anything you would change about him specifically?
-
I'm pretty sure when you use time, effort, money, and resources to create a character, you want to get maximum profit off of it. Thus, exclusives would not only be bad from a development standpoint, but a player standpoint as well .
If BHVR had the power to release Bill on consoles, they would, but unfortunately, that's not how it works.

Well a Demogorgon is a demon prince from the D&D universe. The kids in Stranger Things name the creature that because they play D&D.

Hopefully a stranger things chapter
As someone who doesn't watch Stranger Things (or TV in general), what would be a killer/survivor pack that would make sense?
-
I would empty my wallet at the sight of new moris. As for emotes, I would need to see what emotes we're talking about here. If it was something small and charming that represented the character's personality, then sure!
But I swear, if I see a squadette default-dancing at the exit gate, I'm gonna use the hillbilly's shotgun for its intended purpose.
-
Well that came out of nowhere! Lord knows what BHVR is brewing up.
-
Hey, beautiful ppl!
Snare

I don't really like using Meta perks over and over again and sometimes I want to spice it up by using some unpopular perks.
Detective's Hunch. It's just a ton of fun to use
-
OP's username checks out
-
There could have been a SWF in this lobby, but if not, then yeah that was some aids matchmaking. Although, I've seen it a LOT worse before. Regardless, this should still be a priority for BHVR.
-
I think killers have followed the same path for quite some time now (Underpowered at release, buffed, may/may not be half-decent now).
I feel like the process should go in reverse, to where the killer is good at release, great even, possibly even a little OP! Then, it should be NERFED accordingly.
Also, for the love of god, BHVR needs to have a group of comp players sign a NDA and beta test killers for them before the PTB. Hopefully, this would prevent such an atrocity from happening again.
-
He’d be kinda cool. I have no idea who created him tho. The devs would have to do some searching to get that license
-
Detectives Hunch could affect vaults and windows, or possibly have a bigger range. Even better, hex totems appear in white auras! Idk those are some suggestions

@NightmareReborn I 110% agree with you.
Unless people actually all bring toolboxes, I don't get this "gen rushing".
If you apply pressure to the gens, you won't get "gen rushed" it's that simple.
YES! THIS EXACTLY!
You should have to WORK to get the game to slow down, not have it spoon fed to you. If there's a SWF with all toolboxes, then that's another issue on its own (you could just use Franklin's). However, if this is an "every game" scenario, then that's not the survivors' fault. My solution to "genrushing": Buff the killers with no map pressure AND with no way to slow the game down.

@NoShinyPony said:
@NightmareReborn Play a killer like Doc, Trapper, Leatherface or Freddy on highranks against good survivors. You stand no chance, even with Ruin. Genrush is definitely a big issue.
It doesn't matter. Second objectives would buff ALL killers equally. If you want to make some more killers viable, then buff them individually instead of adding second objectives.
For example, lets say everyone in rank 1 always plays Billy or Nurse. Because of this no other killers are getting any love at high ranks. So adding a second objective would supposedly make these low tier killers more viable, right? So while Doc, Trapper, LF, and Freddy would all be getting buffed. You're also buffing Nurse and Billy just as much. That's why the devs should buff the low tier killers specifically and not ALL of them.
-
This might be a very unpopular opinion, but I don't think gen rush is an issue.
I don't want to brag here, but I seem to get 4ks often (w/o ruin). I play billy mostly, and only really use 2 brain cells if I'm in trouble. Regardless, I always get atleast 2 kills. So, I feel as if a second objective would make things too easy (still not trying to brag). That said, I wouldn't be completely against a 2nd objective. As long as that objective is either short or optional and encouraged, then sure why not.
-
There was this forum post a while back that had a cool rework suggestion for bubba.
It was like the normal LF, but with a new mechanic. For every pallet you brake with a chainsaw, you get a charge. With 2 charges, you could do a super-charged chainsaw frenzy attack. The super charged attack would be like a normal LF chainsaw frenzy, except it would last 6 seconds longer by default, and added 0.5 seconds to the frenzy when breaking a pallet (it would keep going even if you broke a pallet).
-
I think concept goes over artistic ability...
or atleast I hope it does.
Either way, good luck!
-
I feel as if these past three killers have been so "held back" in a way. Legion, Plague, Ghostface; they could all be good killers, but its like the devs wont let them!
Many people are requesting that survivors shouldn't be able to stop Ghostface's stalk, which I think definitely needed to make him viable.
As for plague, 99% of the community just wants to see a small buff which would add an incentive to cleanse. Just like a -20% repair speed when sick buff would be amazing. No rework is really needed with her.
As for legion, they already reworked him. However, NONE of the changes made to him actually fixed his main issues. He's not much better (if at all) than before his rework. He's still extremely annoying to play against, and now not as fun to play as. I would take pre-rework legion over the new one any day.

Will Freddy's rework have a PTB on its own?
Most likely, I think its coming in the MCP after Ghostface (along with other changes).

Tbh I think like huntress/hag strength (give or take) would be a perfect middle ground. I don't really want anymore billys (because I don't really think he takes alot of skill), but spirit strength is pretty fair.
But yeah, what you said is true.

Hey cute ppl of the fog, wouldn't it be pretty nice if the DEV's would completly remove ebony mori's as an offering ?
Just make the ebony mori very rare (instead of ultra) and Increase the activation condition to two hooks. As for keys, maybe a gen limit should be surpassed before a key can be used?
I have no clue, these are just my suggestions.
-
This is what you get when you interrupt "The Hookers" meeting.
-
That was actually pretty funny.
-
Agreed. I also think that killers should be granted 20 perk slots and noclip.
Ok maybe 20 is too much... 19 perk slots.
-
First of all, none of the devs are bad. They all are nice, helpful, and love what they do. However, if I had to pick one...
It's got to be @Peanits . He listens to the community and seems pretty involved in the forum discussions. Plus, he can be funny as crap sometimes. A perfect role model for future community managers.

I've seen literally COUNTLESS FNaF related killer ideas, and let me say, your idea is pretty solid.
Power (The Good): I could see this being a decently useful tool as killer; Not too OP, not too weak.
As a casual survivor main, I could see this being really fun. Just imagine you're working on a gen, and then all of the sudden, an infested survivor walks up to you and works on the same gen. Then you miss a skillcheck and now you're infested. It would be some enjoyable controlled chaos.
Power: (The Bad): I fell as if some of the conditions required to activate the traps are a little wonky. You can't really rely on high rank survivors to miss skillchecks on gens all too often (but the chest and floor traps are great). For that reason, I see this character as possibly being another Freddy. He'd steamroll low ranks while struggling at high ranks.
I think the strength of the overall ability is fine, but I could see some survivors not removing the infestation because they wont have a reason too in some scenarios (like not removing the plague's sickness).
Power (Solutions): There are only two small issues with this ability: The trigger requirements for gen traps and the effects.
As for the trigger requirements, how about a small red zone on each of the skillcheck success zones, and if the red zone was hit, it would infest them. The size, position, and visibility of this red zone could be adjusted with addons. Maybe some high tier addon could make the zone move? This is just MY suggestion, it's totally up to you.
As for the effects, why not add some sort of cumulative effect if survivors don't remove the infestation? It could start with the effects you have listed above, and then every "x" amount of seconds it could increase the screaming frequency and further decrease the survivors speed by "x" amount. Maybe addons could add more effects!
With that said, this power is a pretty solid concept, but it just needs a few tweaks.
Perk 1: I like the idea of this perk, but it's pretty powerful. I always enjoy the concepts of powerful, game-changing perks being tied to hex totems. I just have one question about this perk: When (if at all) will the survivors be alerted about this totem's presence? (Ex: Ruin notifies survivors after a ruin skillcheck). If the survivors are notified when the totem activates or after they see a skillcheck, I think this perk would be decently balanced. If the survivors aren't notified AT ALL, then the aura times need to be nerfed considerably.
Either way this perk is pretty powerful, but I don't think it would be game-breaking or annoying considering it's tied to a hex totem.
Perk 2: I love this perk! It looks fun to use as well as useful! It's "perfectly balanced as all things should be".
Perk 3: I like this idea alot, but the aura reading time on lvl 3 is way, *way* too long. I'd suggest 15 seconds for level 3. You could also keep the times how they are, and implement a set range from the hook where the auras can or can't be seen.
Overall, these are pretty powerful perks, but none of which I consider gamebreaking.
Perk 1: Love the idea, but would the buffs have a time limit? Something like 60-90 seconds would be cool.
Perk 2: Again, seems like a cool concept, but once again I have two questions. One: Does "all of the nearest generators" mean all of the gens or the nearest gen? Two, does being in a chase count as being in the terror radius? Some perks require that you stay hidden like Diversion and Stake Out. Love the idea.
Perk 3: This perk is sort of in an odd spot. Because on one end, you can help out new players who are easing into the game, and they wouldn't be punished as hard for missing a skillcheck. One the other end, you're rewarding survivors failure. This is really the only perk I'd suggest needs to be reworked entirely.
Map: Seems neato. It might need to be expanded in some areas just because the map is sorta small.
Cosmetics:
Molten Freddy: Seems neat, although I'm pretty sure molten freddy doesn't have feet, so how would he walk.
Maskless: Well if there's one cosmetic you gotta have, its this one!.
Cosmetic suggestion: Maybe add Springtrap into the mix (just because he's so highly requested for DbD).
Conclusion: Overall, pretty solid! I love power! Maybe a few too many killer aura perks, but most of them work fine. The survivors perks are amazing and unique and I'd buy this in a heartbeat (as I would with any FNaF chapter).

Who here tries to be as unbiased as possible, but knows they are still biased/sound/look biased? I know I fail to be unbiased.
I try to be as unbiased as I can and typically avoid things that I have no experience with.

It is sad. However, there is a possibility that some other content is coming in its place (and hopefully something that hasn't been leaked).
-
I was writing a full essay on why that's not true, reading as I went. I should have read the full post first lmao. You got me.
-
How?!? How are these so good?!! 10/10!
-
I'm pretty sure the devs said they wanted to look more at DCs after the release of dedicated servers.
-
I feel like I might be in a minority group here, but people rarely DC in my games. Like almost never. Out of 10 games, I maybe get 1 DC, possibly 2, but no more than that.

Is it just a killer thing? Or is it a complete steback in save data?

I wished I posted more :l
Oh well, congrats!

When I saw this post, I thought you were calling Jason a "chad" lmao.
