I was a main killer, playing 99% of time with killer role.
Looks like now that playing killer is not a miserable experience that many main survivors are now playin killer just because it´s easier.
BHVR need to increase the amount of BPs for players that are playing the most needed role.
Depends on region/time of day. Last night I played killer (US eastern time zone) and my killer queues were almost instant as they have always been during peak evening times.

Don't get me wrong, legion has been neglected for a very long time by the devs and deserved the buff they got a couple months ago. Since the patch dropped I almost exclusively face legion legion legion a plague here and there or a huntress (THANK GOD).
But I'm so sick and tired of facing legion every single match with the same exact build like JESUS CHRIST I DCed last match because it was the third legion in a row.
I understand people threatening to leave DBD because their fav perks got killed or because sitting on a gen for 90 seconds is just boring, but I completely lost interest in DBD since I already know what killer it's gonna be while still being in the lobby.
Did people forget there are other killers with unique and interesting abilities? What makes you pick legion over and over again? Or maybe it's just my personal MMR invaded with legion mains only?
Is anyone else facing the same killer over and over again?
P.S.: the legion invasion hasn't even been that bad when legion and ghostface got buffed, but now it's a literal plague.
I hated Legion long before this patch. Not because they are OP are difficult to go against, but because matches are just a boring mend simulator that take way too long.

Can we just get our BBQ/WGLF BP bonuses back and forget the matchmaking incentives? Thx

I have been a survivor main ever since I started playing the game back in 2017, but have been playing killer frequently over the last 6 months as either spirit or legion. Since the mid-chapter update and the changes to how endurance works, it seems as though Legion is a good counter to most, if not all, endurance perks since Feral Slash gives the survivor deep wounds.
I have noticed that since the update my kill rate has gone from a 2k average to a 4k average, but I am unsure whether that is because of the killer buff, survivor nerf and endurance changes, or all 3. The number of games I play now where there is at least one dc as soon as the survivors figure out I am Legion has increased as well, which makes the game less fun for me, and the other survivors as they have to do 4 survivors worth of gens, but have 1/2 fewer people to do it.
I haven't played survivor since the update due to my friends and I not really being able to play at the same time, so we can't play it together (I have been playing killer because of this and because I want to become good at both sides of the game).
My question is, what does the community think of the state of Legion vs Endurance perks, and the overall climate of the game since the mid-chapter update?
If by “powerful” you mean “‘more boring and miserable to play against than ever”, then yes I agree.

No idea why they took the BP bonus away. I've been seeing it a lot less
They took it away because the grind is what keeps people playing the game. They threw a bone out to the community with the prestige changes in hopes that players would stop complaining, only to increase the grind by 2x for anyone who regularly used BBQ like I did. The devs then claimed that the loss of bonus BP would be offset by role incentives, and now they’re backpedaling on that as well with comments about how it’s broken and players shouldn’t expect 2x BP.

Now I just wanna say i am like, just a tad bit mad at the bloodpoint change, but in all fairness they did cut down the grind in this game so maybe it was warranted.

BBQ is and has always been a decent perk, in my opinion atleast.
Opinions on BBQ?
GoobyNugget.
They didn’t cut the grind for players like me who don’t want to level up every single character, just get the perks I want on the few killers and suvrvivors I like to play and farm useful items/add-ons. BHVR screwed players like me by taking away the BP bonus, so I’m pretty upset about the change and haven’t been motivated to play since the change was made
-
What do you suggest? Take away his ability to instadown potential unhookers and he’s easily the weakest killer in the game. No chase power whatsoever and easily countered by windows and any loop with a pallet.

In the past 2 days the positive rating on steam store for this game dropped from 83% to 79%. Pretty sure there's a reason for that.
I gave the game a thumbs down long before the latest patch :)
I still enjoy playing the game, I just wouldn’t recommend it for new players. The grind is still awful and BHVR seem to make most of their changes based on what they think is best for the game rather than based on player feedback.

I think what they wanted to say was: for new players, it's better.
The players who had it all completed and sat at bloodweb Lv. 50 farming good add-ons? FU, your time is over.
When we will have a add-on "recycle" interface?
BHVR will never implement a system to recycle the numerous useless items and add-ons. Players have been asking for it forever, so if it hasn’t happened yet, it’s never going to happen.

I don't want to become one of those on this forum that always seem to bash BHVR, but I have to admit in the 4+ years I've been playing, their decisions for the most part do seem more focused on their own personal agenda rather than what they think is best for the fans or the game.
Clearly they make a good amount of money from the DLCs and Cosmetics, so I can't see why they can't start putting fans first instead of always trying to milk as much cash from the game as possible.
I also feel like they treat fans like idiots by making rubbish excuses for certain changes and expecting us not to see through it. Removing BP from BBQ + WGLF for example. Instead of saying, 'players only used these perks for BP which is a waste of a perk slot' they should have said 'we know players on both sides love double BP, but it's more beneficial for us as a business to keep the grind for perks and items so completionist players will remain commited to our game and invest more, so now we want players to work a bit harder for BP'.
This 100%. Nobody was asking for the BP bonuses for these perks to be removed, and tons of players (including me) loved using them and were totally fine “wasting” a perk slot for extra BP. Then BHVR, thinking that their idiot player base would be just fine with the rationale, came along and gave us laughable reasons for taking the BP bonuses away. “We didn’t want players using a perk slot for BP”. Well, a lot of players were perfectly happy doing this! It was just an excuse to undo a good chunk of the grind reduction, and everybody knows it.

A lot of people are complaining, but the player numbers on Steam are holding stable or even up now. If I’m a dev at BHVR, I’m not seeing a problem unless the player numbers start to drop. If you want changes to be made, stop playing. It’s unfortunate, but that’s the way it seems to be

Solo q has always been bad, and now it’s even more miserable than it’s always been. I agree with poor solo q players (I play solo most of the time when I play survivor side) that this has been a bad change for them.
Aside from that, it’s been a healthy balance shift from SWF being the power role to giving killers a bit more of a chance against coordinated teams. SWF no longer have as easy of a time bullying killers and getting their easy escapes capped off by flashlight spamming and t-bagging at the exit gates, and now many of them are salty that their fun has been ruined.
We’re also now seeing how big of a crutch DH for Distance was for many survivor players.

Here is how most of my matches go today. 8K and 1 gen done. I really don't see any point to continue wasting time on solo.
On the other hand, I only lost 1 game out of about 20 as killer yesterday.
Solo q matches against Cenobite have always been miserable, long before this match. Nothing new here.

Still, there might be times in which there is no bonus incentive
And even if it's always there, now you're forced to play a role you DIDN'T want to play, or miss out on the bonus bloodpoints
Because being forced to use a perk only for the bloodpoints is wrong, but being forced to play a role for the same reason is totally fine ;)
The real issue I had with the devs making the statement that they didn’t want players picking a perk just for the BP bonus was that nobody in the player base was claiming that this was a problem. BHVR just decided for themselves that it was a “problem” that needed to be fixed and forced the change on us because of “reasons”. They know that the grind is a big reason to keep people playing, so they had to counterbalance the other grind “reductions” they made with other things that made the grind worse again like removing the BP bonuses of BBQ and WGLF and the prestige “taxes”. It’s especially bad now for players like me who mostly spend BP on trying to get useful items and add-ons. Now I have to work twice as hard to get the items and add-one I want as I waste most of my BP on the worthless crap in the bloodwebs.

It would be so easy to balance the game. First of all make it a horror game and not a bully the killer game, if it isnt a S-Tier killer. Remove God pallets, dont make it possible to chain structures. Reduce the amount of safe pallets. Make it dangerous to be seen by the killer and not easy to run him so long that your team has free time to do gens. And Gens should not pe possible to be worked on when the killer is in range of 2m to that gen.
You’re right - it would be easy to do. But for better or for worse, BHVR is in this to make money. It’s nothing wrong or evil - it’s just the nature of being a for-profit business. BHVR know that SWF having their fun and being able to bully killers on their streams and YouTube videos is what keeps the money rolling in. If you start making it harder for SWF to bully the killer, all that goes away. There’s a very good reason why BHVR haven’t made any nerfs to SWF and it’s all about the money.
-
Totally agree. Lots of players have been asking for useless items and offerings to be removed for years, but their pleas have been ignored. BHVR have no incentive to do this unless people stop playing the game

That was often my goal as killer - get my BBQ stacks and have fun after that. BHVR have taken that away now - thanks guys! 🙄

So BHVR devs, straight answer, why do we even need to pay bloodpoints to prestige? Even if it's 1 bp why even do that? There is already enough to grind for in the game, you do not need to keep an arbitrary bloodpoint tax.
They wanted to make us feel like they were reducing the grind, then they did things to make it worse again like removing BP bonus for BBQ/WGLF and adding this prestige “tax”

I think the time has come for me to finally uninstall dbd I've been playing for 4 years over 4K hours, every survivor P3 and the killers I care about. I was pretty happy with most of the changes in the ptb, other than endurance being way too strong and the iron will nerf making it useless I liked most changes. Then BHVR decided to BHVR things up and make half the perks they change have a negative effect. First of all you shouldnt equip a perk meant to help and have it do more harm than it helps (botany knowledge/Overcharge) I really don't understand these changes at all. Also the fact that you cant even dead hard a legion anymore... or a deathslinger if he spears you. I like the changing of perks to make more builds more reliable, but lets just be honest. Borrowed time being basekit means if youre a killer putting any survivor on a hook next to the exit gate its a guarenteed escape for them if the teammates are decent, the only counter is has is take them to a further hook which isnt always possible, tunneling sucks, it does, but that tunnel is the difference between a 1K and a 0K for the killer, and all the survivor has to do is save before getting hit. Dead hard was gutted, Iron will is totally useless now, dead hard only works against certain killers, you find a brown medkit in a box with botany knowledge on and you cant even heal yourself. I doubt they will realize the mistake they made but its to the point where im just saying my opinion and probably not touching the game anymore just because of the direction they are going. Sad to say too because i was working so hard on prestiging the rest of my killers before the update. I have no doubt that BHVR will continue making changes like this (making meta perks useless instead of adjustments) so its easier for me to just say goodbye to a game ive spent almost 6 months straight playing in total. Its not your fault dbd. Just the devs.
Also would like to point out Decisive strike, when they changed it a year or 2 ago there was such an easier change to make. Still with DS today a killer can get DSed without tunneling, the survivor just has to not do anything, on the other hand you're a survivor that gets unhooked, teammate runs away, you tap the gen thats regressing, entire perk gone and you have a crouching pig back on you instantly. Why didnt they just change it so DS deactiveates when another survivor is hooked? Physically impossible for the killer to not tunnel and get DSed, and the survivor doesnt have to play AROUND the perk they have and choose what to do and even if the killer downs the unhooked survivor to tunnel and slug them, they have a choice between getting DSed or go after the other survivor and hook them to deactive the other persons DS, giving the team time to pick up the other survivor on the ground with DS.
I haven’t played in a few weeks and honestly have not missed it at all. A break has been good
-
They don’t get addressed because enough people are still playing the game and there’s no incentive for BHVR to spend resources on fixing maps.
I’ve said this a million times, but if you really want these changes made to the game, you have to stop playing and spending money on the game. The only signals that BHVR recognize as a “problem” is when player count and revenues drop.

Bbq is losing the bloodpoint bonus and it will take a hefty amount out of the bloodpoints you will earn. But some people i know are acting like we will earn half as much bp as before.
That isn't really the case
Bbq didn't double your bp it just gives you the bp you earned in a match again. You earn bp in more ways then that.
Between offerings, daillies, archive, rank reset rewards, events and random bp codes i beginning to feel bbq's bp bonus was always a bit overrated.
It was good and losing it will be quite a chunk less bp. But probably like 15-20%. Even less with wglf with how much harder it is to get stacks with that perk.
Am i seeing that wrong? The more i think about the more i begin to think bbq's bonus really wasen't that big of a deal as we made it out to be.
No, I’m not overvaluing it. My BP were doubled almost every match

@skylerbound said:
I know we, rightfully, talk about the meta needing changed as it’s boring to face. For the last few days tho, every single match has been proxy for free hits and hook trades.
I’ve heard things like “it’s not my fault, I’m just contesting the hook” “you’re teammates shouldn’t farm” and even “you’re teammates chose to do gens instead of save so I punished them.” Here’s the thing, most of the time in these matches my teammates and I waited to save because we have eyes/kindred and game sense to know what’s happening.
These killers were lucky to get a 1-2k doing this. I asked if they had fun. And they agreed that it was boring but it’s usually the most effective way to win. I understand maps and gen times, etc and that the desire to “win” is there but I don’t get it if it’s not even fun for you.
when I play killer or survivor, I’m about the chases 100% regardless if I win or not. I’m just bored of taking turns on the hook. Is this anyone else’s experience lately?
A couple of things: 1) just because it’s boring for you doesn’t mean other people don’t enjoy playing that way; and 2) you can thank the devs for making this play style necessary to win. Free endurance health states and broken maps that still haven’t been addressed or even acknowledged as a problem mean that you’ll be very lucky to get one hook per generator done if the killer doesn’t proxy camp or tunnel. Five hooks without “tunneling” = zero kills. Do you think killers will have fun getting zero kills every match?

But doesn't it make more sense to accept criticism and to question oneself and one's work and then to react accordingly when necessary? There are good approaches, but it's really no help to anyone if you implement something at a loss and go live with it, where so many things hang on it! Apart from the fact that previous game progress of the players is completely thrown over the heap, I really see the danger that the game fun and thus the game itself will suffer very much. And that can times then not bend on the fast again.
I completely agree with you, but it doesn’t mean that the team at BHVR feel the same way. History shows that they rarely, if ever, revert unpopular changes immediately. What usually happens is they will wait at least 6 months and then maybe make some smaller changes to make it appear less like they’re admitting they made a mistake. So far this strategy has worked for them, as the player count is remaining stable. From their perspective, there’s no reason to take a different approach unless they are bleeding players and revenue

@ich_häng_mal_rum said:
I’m very worried about the upcoming changes. You could get a good impression in the last few days and therefore here is my frank opinion:
1. the planned prestige system is not or badly thought out
- more grind if new players only want to level/play single characters
- prestiging after p9 pointless
- smaller bloodwebs with inferior items and addons
- prestiging costs 50k bloodpoints
- for longtime players no reason to level anymore except when new characters are released
2. catch-up system
- to ptb bhvr didn't manage to safely add the progress of all players into the new system and in live game this would be a disaster
- the reward for players who invested millions of bloodpoints over years and lost many items, addons and perks is absolutely ridiculous and has nothing to do with appreciation or good customer care!!!
- probably the release and the associated player progress could not be reversed
- the game progress is only determined by perktiers, everything beyond that is virtually ignored
3. still no reward for devotion levels
4. there is no optimization for map rotation… why devs don’t make sure, that no player gets the same map in a row (without a mapoffering)?? That should be so easy to implement. For example after a Mac Millan map you can’t get another typ of this map.
5. killrates to low -> reason: mmr?
- i could imagine that the supposedly low killrates are due to the fact that sometimes new killer players are paired with too strong survivors, i often experience this in the game. Whereas I have the impression that games against equally good players are balanced.
- swf, perks, items and addons should be included in matchmaking! It's no wonder that, provided the mmr works, a pig without perks has hardly a chance against a swf with dh, bt, ds and so including toolboxes and medkits! In contrast, a good nurse with infectious, groupi, bbq and scourgehook has an easy game...
6. gamebalance changes (necessary?)
- gens need 90 seconds so that killers are not forced to take slowdown perks, but there are still many strong ones that can extend the genrepairtime to almost 170 seconds (thana + overcharge + pop). So settings on legion, plague or strong killers like blight or nurse would be unbearable!
- no counter against camping!!!
- hookgrabbing is still not adressed
- no buffs for soloq
- ds nerf is unnecessary
7. meta perk shake-up is questionable
- many of these perks are still strong, if not stronger: dh, pop, ruin, bt, unbreakable
- nerfs partly hit rather new players and solo players, like selfcare or ds
- i fear endless mending: bt-basekit, bt, otr, dh....
- with the dh-change risky moves are less entertaining
- one thing is clear: you will quickly see a new meta
Player on both sides will always use the best stuff to have a better chance. So metas will stay cause you never know what the opponent will bring: a meme build, a strong or a weak killer, iri addons and so on. Especially on survivor side. For a killer it’s much easier cause you choose a setting that’s fits your killer and prevents several survivor perks and items, for example lightborn, sloppy, franklins, genregressionperks, 1-hit-perks or you play for example plague to make iw, sc, wwmi, coh or medkits useless or pyramidheads cages against ds, sabo, bt… the killer looks at his chosen character while survivor have to be prepared for a unknown opponent.
As you can see now there are many, if not too many points that unfortunately speak too clearly against this update from my point of view and I honestly hope that the devs take these things into account, because there probably won't be a way back and I really fear that all this will not do Dead by daylight any good 😢
Is it a bad thing to take time to work on a patch like this?
I think you’re right on a lot of this stuff, but I don’t expect to see BHVR make many of any changes. There might be a few very minor tweaks after the PTB, but for them to delay or scrap all the things you mentioned that are broken would mean that the BHVR team would have to admit that this patch was a major f-up and they’re never going to do that
-

BP you earn each match is meant to get item, addons, offering for the next match. Which 12.000 BP is enough to fill all 4 slots. Its the perk we grind.
And honestly, I dont feel like the new perk grind is good after thinking through it. Remove perk Tiers would be much easier thing to do, and effective.
That would be true if you didn’t have to buy a ton of useless items and offerings just to get something useful enough to be worth bringing into a match. Take your number and multiply it by 3-4x to account for all the garbage you have to spend BP on. Oh, and the devs also gave us a nice kick in the junk by taking away BP bonuses from BBQ and WGLF

Why ? Is there a mechanic preventing you from dropping if survivors are too close to you ?
I often have to press the drop key multiple times to drop the survivor. I think it’s just a bug, and it’s been around a long time. Imagine if Dead Hard had this same issue - I bet it would get fixed pretty damn quickly 🙄

Heal tech, very famous, I think this doesn't have to exist in the game, it's extremely frustrating as a killer. It should be the killer who has the precedence in picking up the survivor (also because let's face it, an unstoppable monster that cannot pick up a person from the ground because this person is being healed? Seriously?).
Devs, I don't know if this is something you wanted, but I and certainly many other players would like it removed.
Another thing that in my opinion should be "fixed" rather than removed, should be the flashlight save from the locker, extremely annoying, many will say "just ignore the one in the closet and chase the one with the flashlight". Well the idea would be that, but imagine, after a minute and a half of chase, you finally manage to get close to the survivor to the point of being able to hit him and he puts himself in a closet, chase the one who wants to try the save and you will have to start all over again , the minute and a half of the first chase was useless and obviously the others do the generators.
Then devs, obviously you have the last word, tell me clearly if you are in favor of cyber bullying, since here we are talking about 4 people who if they want can equip perks made specifically for trolling (which you yourself have created), against a person who certainly won't have fun but will feel bullied.
It seems excessive to me to talk about Cyber Bullying, but the feeling you get is exactly that.
PS: For those who will write "are you mad?" or "had a bad game?" well, like all those who have the guts to play killer, yes, I too like all of you have been bullied.
Um I don’t think you understand what cyber bullying is

To extinguish any us vs them arguments I want to preface this post a bit. For the killers who have a knee jerk reaction of "oh hell no" hear me out. Killers and soloq have the same root problem that makes the game Imbalanced, swf.
The devs essentially said that they're not touching swf. So the only way to iron out swf imbalance is to try and bring soloq up to swfs level. Kindred can help with that. Obviously this would be a massive buff to survivor so just like with BT becoming basekit it has to come with an equivalent buff to killers side to compensate.
I have no Idea what that would look like to be honest, but i dont think theres any reason not to test it. What are some of your ideas? The next patch makes me think we could have a similar one addressing this exact thing. Maybe with another batch of perks being reworked. I'm interested in hearing opinions.
I’d be fine with basekit Kindred for survivors, but then give killers basekit Corrupt Intervention and aura reading for every hook as compenstation

@AnneBonny said:
I mostly play killer, not because I dislike playing survivor but because bloodpoint earnings as survivor are almost always significantly lower than killer. Getting below 20k bloodpoints as killer is rare for me, while getting above that as survivor is even rarer. Most endgame screens I see at the end of a match reflect this, even if I lost as killer most of the survivors have lower bloodpoint earnings than I do. It also feels like bloodpoint offerings are far rarer in my survivor bloodwebs than my killer bloodwebs (the useful ones at least, flowers/wreaths are borderline useless offerings and need to be reworked or removed entirely).
A big part of the problem is that each BP category is capped at a max. So if you run the killer for 5 gens but don’t heal anyone, unhook anyone, or touch a gen you’ll get hosed. Have BHVR ever explained why? Maybe to prevent super long farming matches where players just try to get infinite BP?
It’s a lot easier to get BP in multiple categories when you’re playing killer

So Ruin is much slower now. It takes 6 minutes for a gen to fully regress. Counting that after a first kill it turns into a dull totem so it's deactivated. So if it can get cleansed before and it most likely will. Then congrats BHVR, you made a strong perk a super weak one. It's regression is minimal anyways. Should have kept the changes but put it as a normal perk. It's not strong anymore.
Most Hex perks are garbage now, not worth the risk of the perk being destroyed 30 seconds into the the match, which is what usually happen with experienced survivors who know where to find totems combined with awful totem spawns. Running a hex perk these days is pretty much lighting a perk slot on fire

CoH creates a veritable "base" from which the survivors can send out excursions out into the killers territory. They provide an area to fall back to, to heal and resupply for the next push into the killers territory. If the killer wishes to end this little problem of theirs, they are forced to physically move to another part of the map, relinquishing their pressure and control of the map from the area they are camping.
CoH coupled with Exponential are incredibly powerful tools to grouped survivors, especially if the Killer crosses into the Survivors "territory". Slugging becomes a problem, and hit and run tactics become difficult as well. This part of the map becomes incredibly powerful for survivors and any killer not dealing with that boon has his work cut out for him.
Silent step is also great for losing the killer. In a multi-tiered area like The Game, the survivors can literally run around and only be concerned with making to much noise. Juking the killer becomes almost a trifling affair.
Shattered Hope can destroy this game play, denying Survivors critical areas of the map to fall back and regroup at. Any Killer who tries to focus on a later game set up, such as Trapper etc, can make an excursion across the map worth his time.
Honestly after the new endurance meta, I don’t give a s* ** about boons anymore. Those are the least of my concern now that I have to worry about survivors having multiple free health states

Survivor - I don't think my survivor experience is going to change too much, from the serious games I played - The CI change makes it wayyyyy less boring, imo. Self-Care should be bumped to 40% if they are set on hindering it via percentage nerf. OTR is probably too strong. DS at 3s is useless against the top-tier, ok/samey against regular killers...Maybe make those killers more susceptible to 'non-pallet stun' stuns? Dead Hard is decent-ok.
Killer - Losing some stuff like CI (after 1st down) sucks but is good for the health of the game. Ruin % nerf and deactivation is a bit weird if they keep it as a Hex. Basekit changes are negilgible unless a ton of pallets are already pre-burnt. OTR is probably too strong and encourages greasy killer plays. NOED change is meh/non impactful - Good players won't be effected/care about NOED, still, while others still won't be able to react appropriately.
What are YOUR opinions?
OTR is too strong. WHO COULD HAVE PREDICTED THIS???
Sometimes I think the devs intentionally release ridiculously broken things into the game knowing that they are ridiculously broken just to stir up controversy and keep people talking about the game. “These no such thing as bad publicity”

Seriously, what the heck ? Whether the new grind reduction is actually good enough and accomplishes what we wanted it to do well is a separate topic (All they had to do was remove perk tiers lol), but with it being mostly better, and the new matchmaking incentives, the overall bp gain and grind definitely won't be worse even without the bonuses from these perks. Regardless, did people actually like using those ? How ?! You had to run these perks or you were actively robbing yourself of bp, it was annoying if you couldn't get the perk since you felt cheated out of bp due to pure luck and annoying even if you got it since you actually had 3 perk slots instead of 4 and the game was actively punishing you for every match you chose to opt for a different perk by reducing your rewards by half. It was unhealthy as it made the whole grind revolve around it and substantially reduced build variety. Them addressing the core systems and finally removing this reliance on a single perk (per role) for efficient play is just straight up a good thing and it boggles my mind how people miss it. I remember letting out an audible sigh of relief when reading those perk changes and thinking to myself "FINALLY ! After 5 years my builds won't be handicapped. The game will be way better off thanks to it".
So yeah, I don't understand why so many people are going to miss it.
I don’t mind using a perk slot for 2x BP at all, especially when it gives you other benefits like aura reading for BBQ. A lot of other players fee the same way. The reason I feel so upset about the change is that nobody was asking for it, BHVR just decided as they usually do that they know better about what the players want than the players themselves. Their justification for taking it away was “oh we didn’t want players to use a perk slot just for BP bonus” and “well, we gave you a grind reduction”. Note that both of those justifications have nothing to do with player feedback. I was just fine using a perk slot for extra BP and now I don’t even have the option because BHVR decided that I shouldn’t have that option

Remember everyone....this is not fact, but just opinion. We all have different experiences in DBD, and I know many of you will find it shocking that I have doctor on lots of fun 😁 I actually really love chases with Bubba also but sometimes they can just camp so I decided depends on the player.
Cenobite is F tier against as a solo survivor. Legion is the worst unless you enjoy 30-minute mending simulator matches.

hey,
that's my opinion and I stand by it. I play killer and survivor in a 60-40 ratio and I know both sides. I don't like this Killer vs Survivor thing (not anymore, cause it brings nothing) and I think solo players have the best experience. (it´s my feeling cause i always play solo) SWF players should have it harder and in my opinion it has nothing to do with punishment.
The only thing that matters to the devs with respect to SWF is whether enough killers are still willing to play the game despite SWF on comms being unbalanced. As it stands now, enough killers are still playing the game, so there’s no way BHVR is going to touch SWF knowing that it’s a huge part of their revenue base.
If you play killer and you’re tired of playing against SWF or you think that it’s unfair, nothing is going to change unless you stop playing the game

When they look at the PTB and decide to throw some changes at Off the record. do you think they will be nerfs ?
I think they'll buff OTR again , because current devs is a survivor sided.
Given their history of releasing OP stuff live despite overwhelming feedback against it, I would say probably not

The fact that the devs thought this perk would be anything but incredibly problematic for killers, especially against SWF, proves that they do not understand how their own game is played in a public match

OTR is fine, dont tunnel and you'll never have to deal with it
It’s not tunneling when survivors are intentionally using their free body blocks to abuse the killer
-
YouTube is already full of streamers just abusing killers and laughing the whole match with their multiple stacked endurance hits. Well done, BHVR
