As a survivor, you could describe me as a gen jockey. But I'm also a team player.
As a killer, I try not to be sweaty. Being laidback allows me to enjoy my killer games more.
-
I think for me it was Trapper.
-
Imagine wasting time by slugging when you could already be in your next match earning blood points.
-
Hey now, a few years is pushing it. Can't have everything all at once.
-
Looks alright to me.
-
When I first started on console, I played a lot of Trapper.
Then when I moved to PC, I became a Nurse main.

This game has been so annoying lately and I'm getting frustrated from it. Because I wait, no joke, 8 minutes to get into a game just to die from a Ruin undying spirit
Not just Spirit, a lot of killers are running Ruin/Undying.

You're talking about overall movement, which is highly contextual. That means you can't categorically state that one is better than the other.
I'm specifically talking about precise movements, where a controller is better than a keyboard, due to one being digital and the other analog.
Generally speaking, a keyboard is superior to a controller. Less input delay allows for snappier movements.
That said, I can imagine controllers being better for racing type games.

I mean, it is a fact that controllers are worse than mice for aiming, but better than keyboards for precise movements.
A keyboard is still better than a controller when it comes to movement. Less input delay.

Try the gen rushing build: Prove Thyself, Fast Track, and Stake Out. 4th perk can be anything.

This video made me extremely sad because I was secretly hoping that we were all wrong and that Spirit in fact had tangible counterplay.
It only takes a few matches against a really good Spirit to realize there's no counter play. Solo queue survivors have known this for ages now.

Maps had god loops, then they got removed, then they got added back via breakable walls. They're worse now than before the remasters.
If that's what you really think then okay.
-
Go back and compare the old maps with the current maps. You'll notice a big difference.

in the video, it´s clear to see, that he was not facing towards the survivor and still got the hit. The Felix was not on his screen. I can understand a wide hitangle for blight, but for victor?
Victor was close enough. Watch it in slow motion.
-
Playing survivor in general will get you tunneled.

i have a different opinion here. Killer should get no hit, when they can´t even see the survivor on their screen. You can basically stand right behind the survivor, facing where you want, you will get the hit. This is just broken. I often think: "ok i will get victor out, he will handle this with ease". I hit 90% of the hits, when i don´t hit, victor only get crushed like 10% of the time, so i have another try. This should not be the case, in midgame with everyone injured, these are pretty easy downs and slugs.
You can't face wherever you want and still get the hit. That statement is false. You have to be reasonably close for the hit to connect.
-
I don't have a problem with Dead Hard when I play killer. The maps are not as survivor-sided as they used to be.

in this clip, you can see, that victor pounce looks like he can swing like killers, when they hold M1. The Felix was not on his screen, when he let the pounce go. As a survivor, you can often see Victor flying past you, but then he flys against an invisible wall behind you (your actual hitbox) and you go down. This is not ok and it´s the same exact thing for Huntress Hitbox.
This is totally okay. I slowed the video down to .25 playback speed so I could see the pounce in slow motion. Victor's hitbox reminds me of Blight's hitbox. Both are quite wide. That's why Blight can land lethal rushes when the survivor is not on their screen.
I'm glad you show me this. A number of people were complaining about Victor's hitbox, so I was starting to wonder if there was something wrong with it. But the video you linked reassured me that Victor's hitbox is fine. Thanks. Now that I look at, that was a very impressive pounce by Dousey. Those pounces are not easy to pull off.

i play him myself. I am not the best killer but i hit almost every pounce because it´s hitbox is so big.
The hitbox is perfectly fine. Try to pounce on a survivor that's really good at 360ing and you'll see the hitbox is not as busted as people think.
-
Based on my skill level, I should be at rank 30 for both killer and survivor :)
-
Victor's hitbox is fine. The pounce is definitely not easy to land like people think.
Watch an actual Twins main play the killer and you'll see the killer is not as bad as people believe.
-
I personally wouldn't mind an extra anti-tunnel perk. Nothing too crazy, however.
-
I play against those perks all the time while playing killer. I don't have a problem with them.
-
This is Spirit in a nut shell...
No, I don't play her because I try to have a little empathy for survivors when I play killer.

I love hag. I get to run around setting off her traps mid chase, with another survivor pissing them off.
Or I just set them all off on purpose, it's a game to search for them. No traps means slow m1 killer
That seems like a terrible idea to me. A lot of the Hags I've played against use their mouse wheel to teleport, which leads to instant hits on survivors. All you're doing is running the risk of allowing the Hag to get an easy hit on you.
Not to mention, Hag can reset her traps pretty quickly. I've seen them do it mid chase.

I wasn't trying to say it's an overall boring strategy. I'm just saying it's boring to me. All you do is injure people and then use victor for the rest of the match to slug everyone. It's nice using victor but I'd rather just not do that because it leads to shorter games and I find drawn out games to usually be more interesting
I've had plenty of drawn out games while playing Twins. You aren't guaranteed to slug everyone with Victor. Sometimes the survivors recover and you have to slug them all over again.
But I understand your point. Sometimes you do slug everyone early on which leads to short matches. If those short matches aren't your cup of tea, then fair enough.

Fun is a subjective term. You may find Wraith fun, but I as well as many others think he's one of the most boring killers in the game.
Sorry, but I don't see many people saying Wraith needs his power tweaked (aside from the people who think Wraith is too strong).
You sneak up on people and uncloak. Your uncloak isn't always a guaranteed hit because survivors can utilize pallets and windows. Nothing about that 1v1 interaction seems boring.

As I stated in my original comment, when I say "rework" I don't mean something like what happened to Freddy, I mean a change that's sizable, but doesn't entirely change the character like Bubba and Doctor's buff.
Now, on to Wraith, I want his power to be made more skillful to use; which is the exact same change I wanted to happen to Freddy. Both of their powers in their current forms take such little skill to use, yet give such a big output in return. Now I don't want Wraith (or Freddy for that matter) to become the next Nurse or anything silly like that, I just want a small change that could raise his skill-cap a little.
Wraith doesn't even need to be tweaked. A lot of people like Wraith just the way he is.
The wailing bell might be a simple power, but that's exactly why a lot of people like Wraith. He's simple to use and not terribly boring for the other side. Just an all-around fun killer.
-
Hag is the most boring because of her camping play style.
-
Yeah, Huntress is one of the most rewarding killers if you play her properly .

He is but 4k slugging everyone when they are injured is just boring to me. Sure sometimes it just happens if they r dumb but I try not to intentionally do it cuz that's just not my playstyle with them
You didn't really explain how it's boring. While slugging with Victor, you have to use your pounce skills, game awareness skills, and prediction skills.
All of those skills are fun to put into practice.
-
@QwQw said:
I don't think any killer should be reworked (I mean like a Freddy rework, not a buff like Bubba and Dco got), but if I had to change someone it'd be Nurse or Wraith.
Why on earth would you want to rework Wraith? He has always been one of the most well-liked killers in the game.

Replace Whispers with Deerstalker and you have my go-to Twins build. Everything you need to slug survivors.

"Why should I ever leave hooks if I get nothing from it other than lost pressure and time wasted"
Who said you should leave the hook, survivors? However survivors wants you to play as killer, do the opposite.
Who says you get nothing from it? You can stop the other generators from being completed.
-
Hag. Most boring killer imo.
-
It depends on the type of game.
Quick games are why I despise solo queue. You almost never know how your teammates will be or how the killer will play.
With killer, it's a bit different. Unless I played poorly, got unlucky RNG, or the survivors were extra sweaty, I don't encounter too many five minute games. But assuming I do, I just brush it off. Even during those really rough matches I can usually have a decent amount of fun.

Yea but my problem with that is that's such a boring way to play them.
How?
Chasing survivors with Victor is fun.

I don't. They feel awful to play. Eat a DS when you down someone, switch to Charlotte, walk all the way over just to pick up. It's ridiculously sluggish gameplay.
Not if you slug everyone with Victor and use Deerstalker to collect your prizes 😉

Badly designed. On most Killers it is too weak to actually be used. I would not say it is super-weak, but I dont think that most people will remove a Perk from their Loadout for it.
However, on some Killers, it is too strong. Like, a Nurse with Starstruck is really, really dirty.
It's hard to say whether or not Starstruck is overpowered on Nurse. The problem is Starstruck encourages a very annoying play style (namely proxy camping).
I've played against Nurses that combine Starstruck with Infectious Fright. Once the Nurse hooks someone, she just stays near the hook and waits for a survivor to attempt a rescue. If you're part of a solo queue team this tactic is a nightmare to play against without Kindred (even with Kindred it's still unfun).
But I agree with you. Terribly designed perk. I will never use it.

Yeah I've changed my opinion on them.
Good on you. I realized the Twins were good as soon as I saw that Victor could counter looping. Which means he can slug everyone once all the survivors are injured.
-
Yeah, I still like the Twins and I still play them.
I just wish the devs would revert that Victor nerf. No killer wants to wait five seconds before they can resume control of their character again.
-
@Blueberry said:
One of my most played killers these days by far even after the changes.
That said, they definitely did kill off quite a few of the Twins players (with what little there was already). Eating a DS every time you play well is flat out un-fun and very bad design.
Are they still good? Of course
Do they feel awful to play now? Absolutely
They really need to revert the change. The Twins issues are camping and holding Victor hostage, not slugging.
So you play Twins now? I recall you saying they were fairly weak some time ago.
-
My first impressions of the game were very favorable. I think I started with Killer.
My impressions of the game now are definitely less favorable lol.
-
I'm not a fan of using obnoxious hex builds to slow down the game.
You can get decent gen protection using Corrupt and PGTW.
Additionally, you can play one of the top tier killers and start slugging.
-
- I consider myself a killer main. But I also play a lot of survivor because I enjoy it as well.
- I try to be, but I would be lying if I said certain killer/survivor setups do not annoy me greatly.
- Yes, all my killers are maxed out at P3 (just finished Trickster recently). I only have two survivors maxed out at P3.
- I used to get tiled when playing killer (sometimes I still do). But overall, I've really mellowed out when it comes to my killer game play. I still get plenty tilted while playing survivor because of solo queue. Sometimes I have a streak of survivor games that were simply unfun. I rarely experience that as killer.
- I've bought a few cosmetics that I really like. But I try not to give BHVR too much money.
-
I'd go with Blight.
Blight is a strong killer. Trickster is fairly mediocre.
That said, Blight is a lot harder to play well.
-
I actually wanted to see their response.

Survivors have been tremendously nerfed since Halloween Chapter. He and several others and perks need a lot of nerfs to make things fair and balanced.
Just curious, are any of the killers balanced in your opinion?

Downing a survivor with Bubba's chainsaw and breaking a pallet with the same charge. Time efficiency 🤤
