That bug looks awesome.
So he didn't know he can open lockers while cloaked? lol
I don't think he did honestly. I was just doing an old Head-On challenge from the previous tomes so I wasn't really taking the match super serious, and when he was chasing me, I assumed he was still cloaked after stunning him. It was pretty funny when he smacked me invisible.

Did you report them?
I did, both in-game after the match and via messages on PS4. No idea if anything happened since I'm guessing on the PS4 side, he just got a slap on the wrist and a 24 hour ban.
-
I love the atomosphere of the new reworked maps but honestly, as survivor it's hell. Breakable walls on 2 entry points? I mean, who thought that was a good idea? The second you enter that school in Badham, you're pretty much trapped down there with the killer unless they've decided to smash the walls, which most don't. The grass is also a bit much for my liking. When I play as killer on there, and Yamaoka, I feel like I see more grass than I do scratch marks sometimes.
-
As a player who plays more Killer than survivor, thank you. I honestly question what survivors who act like children would actually do if they pushed us away from that role. I've gotten so used to it, I actually expect it, especially when it's clear I'm losing. I play fair. No tunneling or camping, even when EGC is active and nobody is dead, but survivors will still treat you like crap for it. Not every game is like that, but I'd say 8/10 of my games as killer ends in people rubbing it in, or spending the entire 3 minutes in a exit gate.
-
As Survivor, I've had a Trapper message me pre-game on PS4 telling me not to use Claudette. I asked why and he said, because you're HER. Literally, just that. So I got a little confused because I was using her Silver dress, which is not going to hide me at all, so I said, what's the issue? Shes my favourite character and I'm just using her for the cosmetic I unlocked. He then proceeded to target only me, facecamped and tunneled me to death, then proceeded to let the others live. He messaged again after that saying his reason, which I won't repeat here because it was beyond racist. I couldn't beleive it honestly.
-
Honestly, it's easier said than done, but don't let people like that get to you. I've had many encounters with people like that, and had that exact same situation happen to me. I even had one guy at one point get me banned for telling him to chill out over him dying in a match after he sent death threats. So yeah, Xbox are pretty stupid honestly. But not everyone is like that. I like to hold out hope that there are still decent people playing the game. I had a Feng yesterday who helped me in a match as my 1st time playing Legion, where she was letting me get her because she saw me really struggling. Those kind of people make me keep some kind of hope for the community.

Slap this on a killer, particularly a high mobility one, and you got yourself the most boosted player you will ever see.
These players do not know what pressure is to save their life. You can feed their build and try to cleanse totems to get rid of their perks, or you can just get a gen high progressed and lead them away, go back to it when they leave you (because they will) and bam, the player is exposed as the bot they are. The fact this is a build to vs almost every game is ridiculous. The calibre of player skill level in dbd is utter garbage XD this builds proves it to be that way.
I don't understand what the issue is. Survivors have ran the exact same perks for god knows how long now which usually means they're getting out free but the second a killer can have some sort of hope that the match won't end in 3 minutes, suddenly they're brain-dead? Maybe survivors finally need to stop humping those gens so hard and actually, you know, do those white skulls that glow? You're finally getting a decent challenge from killers instead when so many complain holding M1 on a gen is boring. But you get the challenge, and you suddenly hate it? Honestly, whenever I play survivor now it's actually refreshing to see these kinds of builds. I like my matches to actually last and get some kind of interaction, instead of seeing gens popping like fireworks.
-
I think it was intended, not 100% but I think they mentioned it during a Q&A Livestream. I wish it was a bug honestly because it's lower than Hags, and he's taller than her.

I'm not wasting a perk slot for Franklin's every time I see a key
You really should. I can't tell you how many survivors have been murdered because they can't just leave their key alone. Not even just keys, any item you make them drop, it's like this weird hunger rises in them that they must reclaim that item. They would rather be downed than let it be destroyed. It's kinda cute.
-
I was playing Legion for the first time today, and a Feng was helping by 'messing up' at loops. And by messing up, it was clear she was a good looper but she was making very slight mistakes to help me. She was on PS4 too so I messaged her asking why she did it. She replied with 'Because this game is tough enough for killers. I just wanted to at least let you enjoy yourself more, rather than get frustrated'. Honestly, this was the nicest thing I've ever seen someone on this game do. I mean, I was complete garbage since it was my first time, but the fact she would do that shows that there are still nice folks in this game, somewhere.
-
I see it all the time since I'm usually stuck in green/purple ranks as killer. It's just sad that people even do this. As if winning wasn't enough for them, they feel the need to basically bully newer/lower ranks for what? Anyone that does this kinda stuff doesn't deserve to even play this game imo.
-
MM on DbD has been like this for nearly a year now. They tried Skill Based MM (MMR) which faield hard, and we're back to this dumpster fire of MM. Honestly, it doesn't get any better, and it's exactly these situations people have complained about MM for months. It's not fair at all for new players because of this. The fact it's making you feel as though you want to leave only after a week should be alarm bells for the devs to actually get something done about it instead of focusing on map reworks and DLC's.
-
Honestly, in my 2 years of playing this game, I've yet to see a survivor do a gen when their trap is active. Even when it's not, they just go to a box instantly. Myself I'll do a Gen until it activates, then I prioritze getting it off ASAP.
-
I think he hurts himself more than we do sometimes. He runs out of breath just laughing, and when he's chasing someone, those wheezes man. Someone get this poor man an inhaler or something. I swear he's going to just pass out if someone smacks him with a pallet!

Nah I'm just saying that if people keep getting bad console teammates then it's better to turn off crossplay and nothing wrong with console killers console killers are fine but the survivors for consoles are just bad (course there are good ones but I've seen a lot of bad console players) like really bad I've watched them play and it made me realized I gotta turn off the crossplay and you know what it was worth it because I got better teammates that didn't get down in the last 10 seconds of the start of the game or didn't keep making terrible mistakes, and it's always the console players that are the first to die or DC right away
Not to be that guy, and I respect your opinion because as console I know how bad some are. But PC are just the same. There's no 'one is better than the other'. I see far more PC players dying or DC'ing instantly pretty often. Not trying to start an argument here, just stating that console don't hold the exclusive rights to be trash.
-
Once it gets to the evening for me I turn it off. I don't mind it, but I start running to PC players playing SWF and I don't enjoy getting beaten constantly because they know to 360 around me or zig zag everywhere because I'm a console player and it messes with my FPS trying to keep up with them.
-
It is kind of disapointing, but they could just add a special sound effect, like Midwitch. That has a normal gate, but when the gate opens, it activates the SH Siren, which from the game is usually the sign that the Otherworld is coming to an end. So they could make something unique from that. Badham could maybe play a Freddy tune, and Yamoaka could play maybe ghost sounds of ancient Samurai that haunt the grounds. Something unique like that on each map would be pretty cool
-
I've noticed it on both. Sometimes as Survivor, it seems to 'double' vault a window, as if I lagged but my ping was normal. As killer, there are times I'll be in a chase and it seems to sort of stutter in movement as the survivor is running, as though I slowed down. It could be the servers, but I just don't know anymore. These days I swear the stuff that happens in games are just new features

What Does POG Mean?
Before the spread of the internet and gaming culture, “pog” was a small, circular piece of cardboard commonly used to play a game by children and young adults in the 1990s. Now, “POG” is often used in gaming to mean “play of the game.”
“POG” can also be used with “champ” to make “POGChamp.” This is sort of an abbreviation for “play of game champion.” This means that the player performed extremely well in a match and will be the best player in the game and get the “play of the game.”
I didn't know what it meant either, but this is what I found.
Thank you. I see so many YT videos where they're constantly shouting 'POG DUDE!' and I'm like, 'What the hell is he talking about?!'. Man, I feel old now 😶
-
Oh man. The feels this gives me. I don't think I'll be able to harm anyone today. I'm going Pacifist killer and everyone can have escapes! I'll even bring Cake! 😄

If u know your not gonna have enough time to play the battlepass, why even buy it. I'll admit I wasnt paying attention originally and am not opposed to like a limited 2x event(thought he meant full), but like battlepass r usually grindy in games and that makes completing them more rewarding.
The Devs just need to reduce the grind on the rift. I only play for a couple hours a night, and at least 60% of that time is sitting in a lobby. I'm still ahead on the rift but it's still more than just a grind when you get more playtime sitting in a lobby, than the actual game itself. Sure, I could go play Killer for instant lobbies, but playing killer is more stress than needed these days.
-
This challenge was the bane of my existence. I felt super scummy playing the way I did just to get it. I felt awful for mori'ing someone right off hook, then having to run NOED because I knew DH would be cleansed before it even activated fully. I despise using Mori's and DH because for me, they just feel super cheap. I got so much hate after the match too, which even when I tried explaining I was just doing my challenge, I got the usual toxicity from the survivors.
-
The best bug I'd ever seen was at the 4th Anniversary event. I had a Claudette healing me at the exit, and she was using the event Med-kit, and when she finished healing me, she screamed thanks to PH's perk, then burst into confetti and vanished. Literally, she just Blendetted to a whole new level. It was honestly the funniest thing I'd ever seen.
-
I've been playing with my friend in SWF for a couple hours and we gave up playing again. Every match was the same. DH, NOED and a Mori. Literally every single match, regardless of killer. Is this the new go-to meta for killers or something? Because it's getting pretty damn annoying honestly. We just want to play for fun because we don't get to play it together much, but all this crap going on, not only with killers but survivors too, is really pushing us away from the game.

And that's another thing I've I've realised is that a lot people know answers or know what they're talking about, but are drown out by all the nonsense spawn by the more vocal.
The problem is, the ones who are the loudest usually drown out the voices of reasons. There have been many times I've had an opinion on something, and instantly get called a survivor/killer main because of it. I play both sides pretty much equally, but when your opinion doesn't match their own, you're a main of some sort. I just try avoid going near those kinds of posts now. You can't just have a civil discussion with some people anymore.
-
Nope this has been an issue for ages now. It's 'Latency' as the Devs call it. It's the exact reason we need server side hit registration active again because I've been getting hit so much at a pallet, and the same when a survivor does it to me.
-
If you're having the hook bug, just drop and try again. It's super annoying but it works most times for me. I'm guessing it's going to be toward the end of the week before we see the fix for the hooks. Don't know what the Plague issue is though.
-
Iron Will. I've managed to stay hidden only feet away from a killer while injured many times and it's handy combined with Resiliance.
-
I've been playing with my friend because usually I solo, but it's nice to play with him, plus we haven't played together for a while now, but every match has been the same tonight. Tunnel or camping every single hook. It's getting to the point we both don't want to play anymore, which sucks since this is the only game we play together when we get the chance. I get some SWF will make the killers life hell, but this is getting beyond stupid now. I shouldn't have to constantly run DS because of this. I hate the perk so much, but killers are forcing people to need it. Yet they wonder why it's so 'overused'
-
Did anyone escape? The wording in it is super misleading. You HAVE to get 9+ to QUALIFY for Iri, not actually get it. 9+ hooks is basically the bulk score. Then, you get points if they all died. If someone escaped, it negates the points, or at least it kept doing it for me.

that scene was basically 1 for 1 the vicar amelia cutscene from bloodborne, sans some minor details like blood not splattering on the statue
I knew it seemed familiar somehow, I just couldn't place it. Thank you. It was bugging me for hours!
-
There's not much you can do other than try avoid being in wide open areas. I main PH and I use this tactic because as long as there are no visable LoS blockers, or vault spots, it's pretty easy to react to a survivor. Always try stay around a loop, but don't drop a pallet when he's right on you, because that will result in a free hit from POTD and if you do need to vault, be aware that he will most likely try to hit you with POTD. I do agree that it's pretty stupid I can just fake my special. It does need a slight cooldown before being able to swing normally.
-
I mean, did you see the new intro scene at startup? He literally turned from human to monster. He's lucky he only sprouted an extra finger imo!
-
They just need to add AI Bots to Custom games so both old and new players can safely practice. Especially when new killers come out. I think everyone can agree trying to use a brand new killer at high ranks is a nightmare

Franklin's Demise has earned a permanent spot in my Pyramid Head build because it gives him a huge advantage:
https://youtu.be/ztrHLO0juEg?t=9
Franklin's Demise destroys items in 90 seconds, Mannequin's Foot add-on makes Rites of Judgement trails last in the environment for 95 seconds, and picking up an item forces survivors to stand up, so if you cover an item knocked out of a survivors hand by FD with a trail, you force the survivors to make a sadistic choice: Lose your item, or get tormented!
This is particularly vicious to Keys, which unlike other items, lie flat on the ground instead of hovering a few cm in the air, so they get completely covered up by the trails... you guys have no idea how many keys I've destroyed this way.
Now remember guys, only use this information for goo- HA!🤣... oh man, I couldn't complete that with a straight face... Go nuts evildoers! And always remember "if survivors never hold back on their builds and tactics, why should you?" 😈
My god. I main PH and I never thought to do this?! You sir, are a genius. Now I can send more victims to the Gulag! There will be blood, many lost keys and a lot of salt! Sounds like a fun weekend ahead!
-
I really do not like the new sounds, as both sides. When I play Survivor, I can barely hear the TR over the Gen sounds now, and as killer, I've had survivors literally not even realise I was standing there. It's not a buff to killers imo. It feels needless and cheap to hit a survivor with it now. And when you have more than 1 survivor on that same gen, it's like multiple cars are being started and you can't hear a damn thing.
-
When I play killer I rarely kick a Gen anymore without PGTW because it's kind of meaningless to me. I could kick it, but someone could easily just be hiding nearby to undo that damage within seconds of me leaving. I'll sometimes use Overcharge in hopes they'll mess up and give me a little more regression, and a chance to know they were still there, but kicking a gen is a waste for me. Not only that, but I've noticed these past few days, I barely see any survivors doing Gens together anymore. I always run Discordance, and I'd say 2 in 5 matches it activates. So, I tested a theory and started using Tinker's instead of Discordance, and wouldn't you know it, while chasing a survivor, 3 Gens activated the perk after a couple of seconds of each other. It's getting to a point now that applying pressure, since people love saying that, is getting tricky. Not every killer can easily get to gen after gen, and sure, downing someone would apply pressure in theory, but again, gens are becoming more important even over saving now. An idea I had for kicking gens could be that a base kick (No perks affecting it) could apply a speed debuff to the gen when they try work on it, maybe a 10% slowdown for X seconds. PGTW could have a similar %, but a longer slowdown effect. Increasing gen times isn't going to solve much, other than annoy survivors because let's face it. 80 seconds doing a Gen is pretty boring and increasing it would be torture. But who knows what solution would be right these days.
-
3 P3 Blendettes all holding Flashlights or Toolboxes, Janes or Megs. Guaranteed they ALWAYS try do something to annoy the killer. Blendettes are the bane of my existence most of all. Every match I have them, I see someone hooked, and Kindred shows the other 2 hiding in bushes or dark corners.
-
Whenever I get a GG or some kind of compliment, I take it as a 'I played fair, and it was a fun match for all'. It gives me hope that there are still decent people who just want to enjoy themselves. Anyone that feels the need to message me informing me I'm trash, or EZ Game baby killer, etc, don't get the time of day from me.
-
Time penalties literally mean nothing. I could DC, get the penalty, and go make something to eat and come back and it's gone. If they really want to punish DC, make it a BP % loss. DC once and you lost 25% BP in your next match, 2nd 50%, 3rd 75% and cap it there, so they still get 25%, but losing a % would maybe deter DC'ers. Maybe not since BP means nothing to some people, but it's maybe sightly better than a timeout.

As a SH fanboy, this is cruel but very true. Cheryl/Heather looked well, normal from SH. Now she looks like she hasn't eaten for 3 months and may be some kind of addict. Very similar to Quinten.
-
I couldn't believe it at first. I came from Xbox and thought it was a typo, but nope, 80 extra. Like, what? I like a challenge, but this is insane, especially since Xbox and PC have a different amount
-
I've had people DS me while I've been playing Blight, and I always notice when it failed to stun right because I move slightly, so I just kind of pretend to stay stunned for extra time. Sure, DS is annoying, but I'm not going to abuse a bug because I can get them downed easily. And anyone saying 'Oh but survivors abused X bug', an old saying for you: Two wrongs don't make a right.
-
As much as the game destroys my very soul each match, I can't leave until I've gotten all the damn Trophies my inner-completionist demands.
-
It's a bug with DS. It's sometimes making the stun timer way shorter than it should be, and others it seems to work as normal.
-
I've had survivors literally right in front of me and it just acts like I whiffed the attack, then other times I've swung and it hits them even though they're ahead of me. I know they disabled hit validation server side because of issues with certain killers, but this is getting insane.
-
I'm in the same boat. I'm really tired of trying to do things as killer and it just refuses to do it. I've had more survivors escape because of it than anything. If things don't start improving, I'll be leaving this game for good. I'm tired of giving it chance after chance, only for it to somehow become worse and worse each DLC or Patch.
-
I played Survivor for the 1st time today since the update, and when I heard the noises, I had to double take because I thought someone was starting a car in the game. I mean, why does it sound EXACTLY like a car being started? It just feels so out of place for me now.

That challenge was simply stupid. I played 4 hours to get it.
Survivors DC without even tunneling them.
Suicides on hook pretty much every game.
10 hooks a lot of games.
I feel robbed, so much time wasted.
Dominating for the most part and the dbd says no, you get gold devout.
I share the feeling. I just dominated a team as Blight on Midwitch, and got a 4k, but because a Feng decided to suicide 1st hook, I didn't get Iri. This challenge and any challenge requiring Iri emblems are really annoying. It can be denied so easily by either side and that to me is bad challenge design.
