Wait I got a question about M&A, does it keep ur terror radius increase when you start phasing when in chase? If it does then I'm going to run it.

When Spirit is phase walking inside a survivors terror radius there is no vaccum sound. You have to be completely outside of the survivors terror radius in order for them to hear the sound of phase walking. So if you’re in a chase while phase walking they won’t hear you phase walking.

    1. Freddy is actually extremely useful if you have decent perks on him and know how to play him. People need to stop comparing bad killers to Freddy because they can't play him.
    2. Trapper definitely isn't the best killer but he is high mid tier. They could fix his trap hitbox because it is a bit bullshit but other than that he is pretty good. Just because you can't play him doesn't mean he is useless.

If Trapper is mid tier then he is the LOWEST of all mid tier killer. Mid tier consists of Huntress, Myers, Clown, and Wraith...all of which outclass Trapper easily.

  • @Poweas said:

I disagree with Mike and Huntress being top tier imo they're at the top of the middle tier. Mine would go like this:

    Top tier:

    Spirit

    Nurse

    Billy

    Hag

    Mid tier:

    Huntress

    Myers

    Wraith

    Pig

    Doctor

    Bottom tier:

    Trapper

    Freddy

    Legion

    Leatherface

    Thats my opinion though

I pretty much agree except I don’t believe Spirit is better than Nurse. Even as somebody who has put many hours into Spirit and can’t play Nurse to save their life, I know that Nurse ignores ALL survivor defenses and is the SWF destroyer. She’s amazing in the right hands. Spirit however is a close second.

You forgot Clown by the way but I put him right below Myers and Huntress.

Pretty much nailed it. Only time I DC is if it's a garbage map I keep getting stuck on like Haddonfield or the school. Also if it's a three survivor game, it's just not fun to slaughter them and I have no desire to farm. So.. DC.

I see why Haddonfield is a despised killer map, but I usually do well on Haddonfield. I however HATE Springwood as a killer. I’d be more likely to D/C on a farm map however. Rotten Fields with four immersed Claudette players wearing brown is a nightmare.

  • @Poweas I’m glad to see that Spirit is working out for you. Whispers is certainly a good perk to use, I just don’t like The Entity constantly mumbling in my ear. Monitor and Abuse is also great since Spirit already has a low terror radius. Just try out different builds and see what works best for you.

The Hillbilly and the Nurse are fine where they are, it's the other killers that are underpowered and need to be buffed to their level. No compensation required for survivors, who, if they are good, can still beat those two killers.

You can’t buff Trapper, Wraith, Doc, Pig, Leatherface, Freddy, and Legion to Nurse and Billy level. Their power simply isn’t good enough. Not EVERY killer will be on their level. The closest ones are Spirit and Hag who I believe are in a very good spot. Huntress, Myers, and Clown are next in line...they are also in a very balanced spot. The bottom half of the killers just have weaker powers that can’t compete. You can only give general killer buffs which would make Nurse and Billy EVEN MORE powerful which is not needed at all.

Don’t get me wrong, there are definite buffs that they can get and become better but not as great as Nurse and Billy.

I’d love for every killer to be as good as Nurse and Billy but it’s not possible when the other killers just have weaker powers.

  • If a killer has a full load out and D/C’s at the start of the match it’s more than likely either a real life situation, a 3 man game, or a map that they despise. You can only get Coldwind Farm so many times as a killer and keep your composure.

If the killer does not have anything on their load out then they probably want to derank.

This helps gameplay aswell. What's the difference? Oh I see, one affects the side you play as and the other doesn't. Gotcha.

My name is literally “MegMain98”. You can’t say that I mainly play killer when my name insinuates something different. I play both sides equally and I support balance for the game with the killer side being a little bit stronger since they are the power role.

However when I do play killer, if somebody constantly tries flashlighting you through a pallet it’s not for gameplay strategy...they’re just being annoying. What is the strategy in that? I love seeing survivors try blinding me as Spirit and failing each time as they try teabagging at pallets, especially with Brutal Strength. If somebody is flashlighting you at every pallet, most of the time it is to try and annoy you, not to be a team player.

She's aiming to be a favorite already, up there with Spirit, Hag and Michael Myers! Depends on how it feels to actually play her but I am a SUCKER for Plagues, Diseases, Viruses, Toxins and Poisons...debuffs galore, I want moar! So thematically I Love her design. Her abikriy itself is super unique and adds a whole other level to a match...finally..she looks bloody awesome

I also enjoy playing as Spirit, Myers, and Hag. I’m really loving The Plague, she’s definitely going to be a killer I farm many bloodpoints into. The design and lore is amazing and one of the best they’ve done. I can’t wait to see her cosmetics. The ONLY thing I’d nitpick about is that they used Red Forest as the realm but that is VERY nitpicky. The inside of the temple seems to be where all the action is gonna take place.

The only thing I really agree with is gen tapping. Having kicked a gen, only to have a survivor swoop in and tap a single button to stop the regression is complete #########. So you quickly kick it and give chase only to have a teammate (or 2) also swoop in to tap a button to stop the regression. Repeat ad nauseum. It’s impossible to control gens when teams get cocky and too bold like this.

Surveillance is the best perk to help with that. There are many perks to help keep generators under control.

  • @Eveline said:

    Best Spirit build?

There are many builds you can do with her. My typical build is Ruin, Nurses Calling, BBQ, and Deerstalker. I run Deerstalker because I’m AWFUL with finding people on the ground. Any basic perk build you want to run with her is viable. I just don’t find any sort of “pallet destroyer” build to be very great with her, she’s much better as a tracker.

For add-ons, really ANY add-on is viable...even the common ones. The best combo is the Wakizashi Saya and Yakuyoke Amulet.

  • @PwnyFish said:

Billy and the Spirit are in my opinion the balance bar where all other killers should be. Nurse should be nerfed a little bit, so she isnt that dominant on higher skill levels.

Nerfed in the sense something like, instead of having a bit worse vision during the fatique, take away all her vision during the fatique time. That would punish her harder for bad blinks.

It wouldn’t punish just bad blinks. It would punish blinks in general. Having no vision during fatigue means that you have no way of tracking a survivors movement during fatigue. Even if you get a successful hit and go into fatigue, you’d have no vision. It just wouldn’t work. Nurse already has pretty poor tracking. You’re just nerfing something that’s already the worst part of the killer.

Nurse doesn’t need five blinks. Make the third blink an ultra rare offering with a considerably larger blink distance than it is now.

I have no problems with Nurse being as powerful as she is. Although my opinion may be skewed because I play on console, but I’ve run into some REALLY good Nurse players.

    This one.

Also, hag, spirit, and the legion has a very low camera set during the entire match and it puts them at a disadvantage compared to other killers. This is fair imo.

The Hag has an EXTREMELY low camera set but Spirit is not as low as Hag’s. Spirit obviously isn’t as tall as Myers or Huntress but her set is still significantly higher than survivors while Hag’s is quite a bit shorter.

  • Why? The reason is because Hag is the shortest killer and she doesn’t kick the pallet with her foot. Spirit also isn’t that tall either and she uses her weapon to break the pallet. Instead of raising their camera to allow for more annoying blinds, let’s raise the Pig’s camera while she is crouched. Ya know, something that actually helps gameplay.

"Just a stun" , get a load of this. He has a cooldown, it even disables his normal attack.

Hes fine. Not billy's fault the devs designed those after doctor to be weak by design.

After Doctor? Huntress, Spirit, and even Clown are WAY better than Doctor. Doctor is honestly weak af

  • @Poweas said:

@MegMain98 are you sure she can be played with brown addons? Because I find myself reliant on her yellow addons to perform mindgames. But I'll try it for you.

@NuclearBurrito I'll try her again without addons. I got a 4 red and 32k BP game as her without addons once. I was sure it's a fluke. I'll try her without addons again and show you the results. I doubt it'll be pretty. But I might be bad as her :P

I’ve played mainly Spirit since she was released. I have quite a bit of experience playing her, so I don’t need anything but brown add-ons. Obviously the green and purple ones are the best but it’s just too easy for me sometimes. If you can predict survivors movements and know how to play Spirit effectively she is viable without add-ons and if you want to use add-ons then all you need is the brown ones.

If you’re not comfortable with her yet then the purple add-ons are your best bet. Stay away from the ultra rare add-ons. The Mother-Daughter Ring makes you go at a super sonic speed but you can’t see any scratch marks. Father’s Glasses are really good but you can become too dependent on seeing the blood if you use that add-on too much.

  • Bodyblocking is not a bannable offense. It even CLEARLY states if you have the perk “We’re Gonna Live Forever” equipped that if you take a hit for a teammate while they are on the killer shoulders you get more bloodpoints. It is pretty much encouraged. Or guess what? You can run Mad Grit and not have to worry about bodyblockers anymore.

Who even gets mad at gen-tapping?

You don’t like pallet looping? Play Nurse then you won’t have to deal with loops ever. Maybe even Legion. Don’t respect pallets and run Enduring and Spirit Fury. There are MANY way to stop pallet looping.

What else are survivors supposed to do in a chase besides looping? Go to an open field and die? It’s stupid to get mad over that because EVERYBODY loops the killer and I’m pretty sure you do as well.

Both sides can play scummy but everything you mentioned (besides hacking and cheating) are not bannable offenses and not something to get worked up over because they all have counterplay.

  • Spirit can use ANY of her add-ons and be viable. I only really play Spirit and I don’t like to use all my good purple/green add-ons all the time, so I’ll use the Zori and Shiawase Amulet. Those two common add-ons are good enough to make her duration and speed more viable. You do not NEED the Yakuyoke Amulet and Wakizashi Saya for her to be viable at red ranks. Her duration and speed is kinda bad without add-ons but any of her add-ons are good to put on her.

  • @Poweas said:

I am. Just using Legion picture for a bit.

I’ve seen you use multiple profile pics. Mainly Spirit and Billy. I just assumed you changed it based on the mood you’re in XD

  • I’ve gotten 20K BP as a survivor and only saftey pipped. It’s possible to get 28K BP as a killer and saftey pip because I was Nurse and the survivors felt bad for me because I am garbage as Nurse, so we just farmed.

De-pipping with THAT many BP though? I've never had happen to me. I doesn’t take that much to even single pip.

  • Nurse has an ability that has map pressure and counters looping. It ignores all survivor defenses including pallets and window vaults. There is absolutely no way that Leatherface, Doctor, Pig, Myers, etc...will ever be able to match Nurse unless they can literally phase through walls and have insane map pressure. I do agree that they need some TLC whem it comes to having their base power looked.

An example would be that I believe survivors should never be COMPLETELY drained from being stalked, over time they should steadily gain back their white aura and be able to be stalked.

Of course other killers like Billy, Spirit, and Hag can have great map pressure and chase potential but they still aren’t anti-loopable like Nurse is. Spirit and Hag can negate some loops by either faking out survivors or setting traps but Nurse is still better.

My point is that no matter what kind of buffs you give to basic M1 killers, they’ll never be on the same level as Nurse because her power is the strongest in the game. Nurse somewhat breaks the game as it is.

  • @MhhBurgers said:

I see billy and nurse as detrimental to the game and partly as a reason why the other killers suffer from broken ######### that survivors are getting away with.

Any killer main who sees how this game develops knows that they would never be released today in this way

Other killers simply will not have a power that grants them that amount of map pressure or mobility. Unless you wanna see Clown and Leatherface zip zapping and mighty morphing across the map, they’ll never be at the same level as Nurse and Billy. Putting people into dreamworld can only go so far as a power.

You cannot give general killer buffs to help weaker killers without making the stronger killers EVEN stronger. Nurse and Billy need NO buffs and NO nerfs. Weaker killers need buffs specifically for them but just like I said, some killers powers will only take them so far. There is much you can do to make Freddy and Leatherface that great and they will mever be considered on Nurse and Billy level, ever.

The only “buff” I’d give Nurse is making fatigue considerably shorter since just like you, I hate admiring floor graphics for 70% of the round.

  • If I just demolish a team and I know I double pipped and got a merciless killing, what is the point in killing the last survivor? Sometimes the team members just play in a certain way you feel sympathy toward them. How could I kill that pizza boy Dwight?

  • Billy is braindead easy to play. Rev your chainsaw and one hit down survivors. You wanna slug? You can easily do it in 20 seconds. He’s easy to pick up and play and is easily the second/third best killer in the game. He is a low risk/high reward killer.

Even saying that, he can be looped like most other killers. He doesn’t need a nerf because it would push him to mediocracy. He and Spirit are the only two killers on console capable of dealing with a good SWF group. Nurse is kinda out of the question with the AWFUL framerates and not having as much sensitivity which massively helps with blinks. She can only do a 180, not capable of a 360.

I wouldn’t be opposed to a 110% movement speed for Billy but it’s not necessary. He isn’t in the worst place of all killers, we need to be focusing on Legion, Freddy, and Leatherface honestly.

  • @Trashman said:

Also spirit fury is hands down Spirits best teachable, any m1 killer should be using it with enduring from billy.

Agreed. Paired with Enduring it is a nasty combo. The killers that don’t need it are Nurse (obviously), Huntress, and Spirit. I don’t see the need for it on Spirit when she can utilize different perks MUCH better than the Spirty Fury/Enduring combo. I’d even say it’s not needed on Legion either as they can just hop over pallets.

  • It seems as though the three killers I do the best with is Spirit, Huntress, and Myers.

The most fun is certainly Spirit. I love getting within a healing survivor’s terror radius with Nurses Calling and blindsiding them by sneakily phase over to them. She’s got a great power, add-ons, and can pretty much do well on any map. Honestly she’s just as strong as Nurse is but has a better aesthetic and is DEFINITELY easier to master than Nurse, at least in my own opinion.

  • There are multiple reasons survivors DC. Let me name a few

    1. They get found first and they are mad. This is probably the most common
    2. They get camped and then immediately tunneled off the hook, honestly who can blame them for leaving?
    3. The killer is slugging. Not everybody wants to admire floor graphics for four minutes doing nothing
    4. Legion...need I say more?
    5. Bad connection
    6. Every other survivor DC’s with five gens left.
    7. Sometimes real life circumstances happen
    8. An accidental DC

I’m not saying all of these are good excuses for DC’ing but not all survivors want to get slugged and lag all over the place with connection from Jupiter.

Also let’s not pretend like there aren’t killers out there who rage quit after 3 gens are done and they’ve found nobody.

There are salty survivor out there for sure, but some have their reasons for DC’ing.

  • You have free aura reading as Freddy. If they manage to crawl out of the exit gates while downed when you have a permanent Deerstalker, that is all on you buddy.

  • @TheHourMan said:
Isn't Huntress from Northern Europe? It would be more fitting to have animals that she would have actually hunted when she was alive on Earth. Since the Entity made those outfits from her memories and all.

She’s from Russia I believe...so it wouldn’t be outlandish to think she’d have a tiger head.

  • If we are talking about only survivors and killers (so not including The Entity or Benedict Baker) I’d say Dwight and Trapper. Trapper is the poster boy of the game and Dwight is the default survivor of the game.

Although Meg could also be considered a main character as well.

  • @HeroLives said:
As a survivor I feel safe when I see tapps in my group. Just like when I see Feng Mins, safe. I’ve noticed most of the people that play them are above average players.

I weirdly feel safe when I see Kate and P3 Dwights. Feng players always DC from my games. Claudette and Meg are a mixed bag.

Whenever I see an entire team of male survivors I know we are all going to die because I never had good outcomes with an all male team especially all David players.

    @TheEdgeGamer said:
This post is mainly to show which killer rank where when it comes to having certain things. With perks and add-ons, without perks or add-ons. This is what varies the Killer tier list for people. And after a lot of game play and research of other people's tier list, I can categories each killer in each category.

    Without Perks or Add-ons:
    1. Nurse - Even without perks or add-ons, if you master playing the nurse then you can ignore pallets, find survivors and get to them pretty easily. Her base ability makes her GOD tier even without add-ons. Without perks she will slightly be weaker, but you can still make up for it with precise blinks and hits.
    2. Huntress - Even without add-ons, the Huntress is good at hitting survivors in the chase. Her base ability makes vaulting a hazard. She can easily take down survivors without any help of perks/add-ons.
    3. Hillbilly - The reason Huntress beats out Hillbilly at 2 is because it takes longer to get his chainsaw up. Survivors can get to cover by then or get to a pallet. But he can still traverse the map pretty well and down survivors that accidentally walk into death.
    4. Myers - He doesn't need add-ons or perks. He's a instant down machine. Although not having faster stalking is a bit of a hindrance, he can still stalk and down his prey. His short terror radius is also why he's high on this list. He can get the jump on survivors easy. Not as well as Wraith or Pig, but in a much deadlier way.
    5. Clown - Much like the other killers here he doesn't need add-ons or perks to help him either hit or down survivors. All you need to do is throw bottles, slow survivors down, down them, hook and repeat.
    6. Hag - Admittedly, Hag does need slightly need help from her add-ons. Mainly, because they are SO good now. But she still can stop loops and find survivors pretty easily with her base ability.
    7. Pig - Now with her recent update, she really doesn't need add-ons as much. She can get the jump on survivors extremely well (as long as you don't surprise attack all the time and know her to sneak up to survivors) and her reverse bear traps slow the "game" down. Perks would be nice to have with her though.
    8. Trapper - Now Trapper's add-ons don't really do much for him unless you use extra trap pickups or setting trap speed. And even then they don't make much of a difference. Perks on him are as normal as other killers. He sort of needs perks to help out his power. He's mid tier on this list because he can catch people in chases and loops. If you place your traps right.
    9. Doctor - Facing Doctor without add-ons or perks is easy but hard at the same time. Since his ability can help you find survivors easy (and help you in the chase if your good) you can eliminate survivors if your good in the chase.
    10. Cannibal - Only thing your missing out on with Cannibal is the extra bloodpoints.
    11. Spirit - I hate putting Spirit this far down on the list but she's not as effective without add-ons. You still have the mind games but there not as effective without add-ons. Her add-ons help her with loops, gen grabbing and all the things she's great at. But without add-ons you can't get to people/trick survivors as effectively.
    12. Wraith - Without his uncloak add-on, your gonna have a slightly rougher time. You can still get hits like crazy, but having a faster uncloak is better to have. Spirit is better than Wraith without add-ons because she can still get hits easier than Wraith can.
    13. Legion - Perks aren't really that effective on him/her so that doesn't matter. Add-ons are sort of important on him/her because at base his/her ability is good but not great. I could go into the pros and cons of Legion but I'd rather not. Without add-ons he/she becomes much weaker.
    14. Freddy - Now Freddy's bad but without add-ons or perks he's worse. Playing without add-ons or perks is sort of hardcore mode for killers.

    Console:
    1. Hillbilly - Wait. Nurse isn't number 1?! What?!?! I'll get more into that on Nurse's section. Hillbilly on console is more tolerable because framerate isn't that bad while he's using his ability. Harder to aim on console but he can still make survivors wet their pants once they hear the insta-chainsaw.
    2. Nurse - Now I know it's a shock to see Nurse not being number 1 but here's why. FRAMERATE. Blinking with Nurse on console is hard to do. There's framerate after you blink and before. Now there are some games where it's not as bad and you can do really well. But there are other games where it's impossible. Survivors lag away from you once you blink and you eyes will burn watching. But she can still be GOD tier once you adjust to it.
    3. Myers - Reason Myers is high on this list is because all he has to do is stalk and slash. Framerate doesn't effect this much. Except when you go into Evil Within 3. It always either lags or you receive frame rate when you go into your next tier but you can still down survivors without much difficulty. (If you don't get frame rate.)
    4. Doctor - Another "shock". A mid tier killer that's higher on the list? Well this is sort of another issue with console. Whenever you play againist the Doctor on console, whenever you get a difficult skill check, it lags. Yeah it lags during the skill check making it harder to do them. Now this makes Doctor much stronger on console because he can make skill checks impossible. Now before you think it's from bad connection on my end, check it out for yourself. Watch any survivor go against Doctor on PC then watch someone face Doctor on console. You'l notice the lag skill checks.
    5. Clown - Clown is still pretty good on console. He can slow survivors still without much of an issue.
    6. Huntress - You didn't think I'd forget her did you? The reason why huntress is lower on this list is, you can guess it, framerate. Whenever the Huntress throws her hatchet, no matter how good the connection, it lags. The second you throw it your screen will lag. Causing you to either miss. Playing Huntress on PC feels smooth and right. I struggle trying to get her to throw straight on console.
    7. Spirit - She receives framerate every time she phases and after phases. But not much issues.
    8. Pig - Pig's pretty much the same on PC on Console.
    9. Trapper - The same but people will warp to the traps more often if they run near them.
    10. Hag - Why is Hag down here? What do you think? Framerate and Lag. Whenever she teleports to her trap you'll lag for a sec and receive the definition of framerate soon after. It hurts my eyes to play Hag on console. Teleportation to your trap is still useful but hurts to watch.
    11. Wraith - Almost same as PC. Varies on framerate per game when uncloaking.
    12. Cannibal - He receives some lag whenever he his someone with his saw and when he starts his ability. Makes him slightly worse.
    13. Legion - Not that much of a difference actually.
    14. Freddy - On console the only issue Freddy has is a slight bit of lag when some goes into the dream world but so does the survivor so it's not too bad.

Now you make a tier list of you're own down below.

Ok. I've played EVERY killer there and my version is:

    PC

    1. Nurse
    2. Billy
    3. Hag
    4. Huntress
    5. Myers
    6. Pig
    7. Wraith (he's got a good base ffs)
    8. Trapper
    9. Leatherface
    10. Doctor
    11. Legion
    12. Clown (I disagree with you, I've played his base and he sucks, he's rubbish at base)
    13. Freddy

    Console

    1. Billy
    2. Hag (I play her on console and she's fine idk what u were talking about no offense)
    3. Myers
    4. Pig
    5. Wraith
    6. Leatherface
    7. Doctor
    8. Trapper
    9. Legion
    10. Clown
    11. Freddy
    12. Huntress
    13. Nurse

That's from someone who plays console and PC.

I’m on console and this is my tier list with every killer using their best add-ons and viable perks for their playstyle.
    1. Nurse
    2. Billy
    3. Spirit
    4. Hag
    5. Huntress
    6. Myers
    7. Clown
    8. Wraith
    9. Legion
    10. Doctor
    11. Pig
    12. Trapper
    13. Leatherface
    14. Freddy

You also forgot Spirit by the way.

My main suspicions is that the new killer will either be

    • A pirate
    • A knight
    • A mummy

Considering the hint that this will be the oldest killer yet, these are all possible options that could be cool if executed right. I'm probably wrong though.

I’d really enjoy all of those especially a mummy. I just wonder what their special powers would he though.

  • We’ll Make It
Sprint Burst (I can never get Dead Hard to work)
    Deliverance
Meg (although I have both Meg and Claudette at P3 but Meg was my first main)
    Breakdown

  • We’ve had bad experiences with certain survivors. Personally, I do not like seeing Jake’s based on two past experiences

One was when I was hooked by a dock on a small boat and Jake started working on a generator literally right on top of me. The killer was LONG GONE and he sat on that gen and I almost died until a Claudette got me down and Jake wasn’t even halfway done with the gen because kept crouching and working on the gen and just being USELESS.

Another one was just a troll who tried getting us killed but ended up being caught first and DC’ed.

I have had bad experiences on the survivor side with Jake, Claudette, and Dwight players

I have had good experiences with Kate, Laurie, and Quentin players

Just remember that it is the player behind the character not specifically ALL players who play that one character.

  • I have DC’ed against Legion...it’s just not fun. I don’t DC often though, most people don’t run Frank’s Mix Tape because they know how broken and unfun it is to go against.

Typically I’ll just let go on the hook, find another game. Ya know...it may take 30 years to find a game while I play lobby simulator. Then I get another Legion...let go on the hook. Process repeats over and over again. Legion really is a burden on the DBD community.

  • @Dead_by_David said:
Eventually the people who DC will be banned so I would just carry on, it only hurts them in the long run!

You have to DC A LOT to get banned. If you play 10 games and DC in half of those games, you still won’t get banned. You literally have to continuously DC for many games to even get a ban.

  • I’m excited for the new killer. It just feels like the wait between Clown to Spirit and Spirit to Legion was so short. The wait between Legion to the newest killer seems SO LONG because I had (and still have) 0 interest in Legion. I’m pretty hype for whoever it’ll be, just be better than Legion...that’s all I ask.

  • Before Spirit was released I was a Myers main. I played Myers because I love the Halloween movies but as I continuously played as Spirit and got really good with her, I can’t go back and play Myers...he has zero map pressure. Don’t get me wrong, he is top mid tier but can’t compete with the top four killers.

She’s so great at faking out survivors and making them think you’re phasing when you just looking at them and watching them run around in circles. She is probably more satisfying because it’s no mechanical skills involved. It’s all about prediction and making a guess on where survivors are. Unlike Nurse where if you understand the blinks and where you can and can’t blink through, it is an EZ 4K every time. I’m GOD AWFUL with Nurse though, so Spirit and Hag are the two top tier killers I choose to use.

She’s honestly not that far behind Billy in terms of viability. She’s better at dealing with loops than Billy but her 110% movement speed, less map pressure, and the fact that Billy has a permanent instadown at his disposal makes him a bit better.

Perk wise, Hag is the better option due to Hex: Ruin alone. Hag is also a bit better killer than Clown is. Both are solid options, but unless you REALLY like Clown..Hag is a better option due to having Ruin and being a slightly better killer.

Slightly? She's leagues above the Clown. She's the 3rd best killer. Nurse, Billy and Hag are way too powerful for the rest to reach except maybe Spirit.

Nurse and Billy are obviously #1 and #2 but Hag and Spirit are pretty interchangeable. All four of these killers have one thing in common, map pressure. They can traverse the map more easily than the other killers and have an easier time catching survivors. I don’t see how Hag is any better than Spirit. Hag is only REALLY powerful if you use Mint Rag with Make Your Choice.

After those four, Huntress and Myers are easily the top of the mid-tier killers. Clown is up there too but he’s nowhere near Hag.

You don't understand Hag if you think she's only powerful with Mint rag and MYC. I play without them and do extremely well. Clown sucks. His base sucks, he's ez to genrush. For me it's Nurse, Billy and Hag/Spirit (joint).

But trust me, Nurse, Billy, Hag and Spirit are all viable without perks or addons. I've tested them all.

I was wrong when I said Hag was only really powerful with Mint Rag and MYC, I just haven’t run into MANY good Hag’s in red ranks. She is a rarity as it is with the Billy/Nurse meta. My experience of Hag players hasn’t been the best because they all seem to be potato.

I’m still leveling up my Hag because I’m certainly making her my second main killer after Spirit, I just can’t play without Ruin three. Gens get done WAY too quick not to have the third level of Ruin. The top four killers are viable without perks and add-ons but any killer is going to have quite a hard time without Ruin unless the killers can apply insane pressure and the team is too altruistic. Gens get popped like crazy.

I play pretty much all killers, I will confirm that Hag even without add-ons is very powerful if one knows how to use her, I played only once with Mint Rag, I had a f_cking great time

I gotta level up my killers and put better perks on them. I usually play Spirit and Huntress who are both viable without add-ons if you’ve got good perks. Hag, Myers, and Nurse would be ones I’m really interested in playing though.

Hag doesn’t NEED add-ons but with the right combo of perks and add-ons she can be very powerful. I played with Mint Rag once before too but I don’t have MYC and I made a nooby mistake of placing more than one trap in one area so it screwed up my teleport. I still got a 3K though.

Since you play all killers, who is your personal favorite? I can only assume Wraith since that is your profile picture.

God no, I don't need Claudette's haunting screams to come back

    Laurie’s screams are 10X worse than Claudette’s

  • It depends. I play to have fun. Once rank reset happens I usually want to pip as fast as possible because I don’t want to stay in green ranks. I haven’t had good experiences with the survivors and killers that are in green ranks on console. A lot are usually so bad, killers tend to be a little bit more campy in green ranks, while in red ranks they’ll typically go away from the hook and find the others. Although I have only played killer since rank reset so I’m still at Rank 10 with survivor. I honestly could NOT care less about my killer rank, I don’t even want to rank up as a killer but it is brain dead easy.

Rank doesn’t matter but in my own experience, I’d rather be in red ranks because I don’t want to carry my team in green ranks and killers are less likely to leave the hook.

Why do you think she's a better killer?

Clown is nice for area denial and slowing chases. His bottles require decent aim that comes with practice. He's great at denying jungle gyms and many loops.

Hag is also similar but does it a bit differently. You have to place traps ahead of time. Hag requires a lot of experience and might not be enjoyable for you for a while, but she is viable at rank 1 if played correctly. She is slower than most killers which forces you to rely on good trap placements to do the chasing for you.

Hag also has insane map pressure and can teleport between multiple places and can switch target whenever she wants to. Clown is pretty much confined to one area as it takes a while to travese the map. Hag is also sneakier with a small terror radius.

Both have the ability to cut off loops, but Hag’s map pressure and teleporting mixed with her ability to sneak up on survivors makes her slightly better to me.

  • The only strong killer I believe Ruin is very much needed is Huntress because she is the only real slow killer in the game, as all other "slow" killers have a power that lets them get around faster. I also use Ruin on Hag, but that's more because it's her perk than because she needs it. I feel I could easily swap it with something like Sloppy or Devour and still have great results.

I guess Huntress is the only 110% movement speed killer that doesn’t have a power that grants better mobility. However, Legion isn’t that mobile either. Sure their power grants mobility but they still have very little map pressure and don’t use their ability (nor can they) to get to one side of the map like Hag and Spirit.

I do believe that Ruin is kinda needed on every killer that isn’t named Nurse and Billy. Even Billy needs Ruin at times. Spirit and Hag DEFINITELY need Ruin against good survivors.

  • Perk wise, Hag is the better option due to Hex: Ruin alone. Hag is also a bit better killer than Clown is. Both are solid options, but unless you REALLY like Clown..Hag is a better option due to having Ruin and being a slightly better killer.

a lot of survivors mains are saying that because they want the developers to nerf the nurse and they all say that she is so easy to play and OP. In fact, I don't think she is OP and I don't mind reducing the fatigue time. Also, she is so hard to play even on the PC. too many dead zones and hard to balance her.

I’m a decent killer, but I just can’t grasp Nurse. I lose survivors so quickly when I go into fatigue. I’m very good with Spirit and people say she is harder than Nurse.

The only two things I’d change about Nurse is reducing her base fatigue time slightly and making so that when she does go into fatigue, her vision isn’t as impaired so much. When you go into fatigue, you get a black border around your screen and your vision slightly blurs.

Can you even use a keyboard and mouse on PS4?

I had the same thing. I personally think Spirit is way harder,

Nurse = mechanical skills and muscle memory

Spirit = mind games and prediction

Spirit is hard because even if you do master her, you won’t always predict right or mind game a survivor. While, Nurse on the otherhand if mastered will always wipe the survivors out because her power is more reliant on catching survivors.

That may be why you think Spirit is harder but I have yet to become good with Nurse because it’s a lot to learn with specific maps and where to blink, how far you have to blink, and how long to charge a blink. Also I lose survivors easily with her fatigue, I need better perks (Shadowborn and Ruin specifically) on her then maybe I’ll do better. I still think Nurse takes longer to learn than Spirit does.
