  • I read them all...some of them I do agree shouldn’t have been implemented (like Leatherface not gaining Bloodlust while reviving his chainsaw). Some are justified though, a few examples...

Killers should not be able to look a survivor in the crotch and prevent a hook rescue.

Bypassing Borrowed Time with insta-down mechanics is cheesy.

Why should the killer be able to “fly”

Nurse should NEVER have been normal movement speed.

The “pallet vacuum” has since been removed so that is outdated.

Was Tinkerer really a nerf? I like the current Tinkerer better than the older one. Only thing the older one was good for was chucking hatchets.

Would you say that MYC is mandatory for the hag?

I’ve singled out the perks I want on her to MYC, BBQ, M&A, Nurse’s, and Ruin. Not sure which one I should leave out. Maybe Ruin?

It’s not a necessity but it fits very well with her build especially if you have Mint Rag and Rusty Shackles.

It’s great on Spirit as well

  • @PunL said:

Spirit is indeed stronger than the Plague, but nothing tops puking at survivors!

I guess i am one of the few that actually likes the Plague, she is so much fun for me, maybe she isnt on red ranks, but due to my playstyle and lack of skill im only purple^^

I really do love Plague. I obviously mainly play Spirit but Plague is my #2. I love those two along with Huntress, Myers, and Hag...also beginning to like Leatherface a lot more.

  • Nice for the aura reading but I really don’t care as long as I get my four stacks.

  • A majority of player will agree that Spirit is much better than Plague. Spirit is nearly at Nurse tier while Plague lingers around Myers tier.

Good Spirit players cannot be looped and she can easily control a map if she needs to while also have very high chase potential.

Plague is a weird hybrid of Billy, Huntress, Leatherface, and Myers. You have to get right on the survivors tail to puke on them a break them. Play like Billy with Vile Purge and play like Huntress with Corrupt Purge. She may be faster than Spirit but she can still be easily looped.

Spirit’s ability is just better than Plague’s

    Lol, keep dreaming.

PS: I have yet to be even downed by a Spirit.

Brag about it when you face one that knows what they’re doing.

I’ve been killed by very few Nurses compared to other players because I play on PS4...but you don’t see me bragging about that do you?

The Spirit is a trash tier scrubstomper. Period. Assuming you're not playing against potatoes, she has both horrible map pressure and non existent chase utility. The first because of the stupid timer the devs slapped on her power for whatever reason, the latter because she can't see survivors and she cannot even hear them properly because of the hairdryer-like sound she emits, while survivors can know exactly where she is at any given time by simply listening to her footsteps. She is a horrible killer. If you 4K with her, the survivors you were facing would have been 4Ked even by a perkless speed limiter Leatherkek. She is nothing near the Hillbilly. She does not compare in the slightest.

On any tier list, you’ll see Spirit at the top. She’s nowhere near the bottom. Can you imagine if Spirit COULD see survivors while phasing? It would be way too easy. Sure Nurse can see survivors while blinking but you actually have to be good and know how to blink. You don’t always connect and you have a fatigue afterward.

I don’t know what Spirit hurt you or if you just don’t know how to play her but Spirit at her best is miles ahead of Billy in ever aspect besides map mobility.

Damn I guess 90% of the players I’ve gone against as Spirit are just awful potatoes, even at Rank 1.

I am a Spirit main myself but I would rank her first. The reason why Billy is so good is that he can quickly get across the map using his chainsaw. This is faster than Spirit because Phase Walking has a cooldown, while the chainsaw does not. But, I can't play Billy so I still prefer Spirit lol.

Billy certainly has better map pressure AND has an instadown but if you get Lery’s or a map with tons of line of sight breakers then Billy is gonna turn into an M1 killer. He is just as loopable as any other killer.

Spirit on the other hand does not have to loop with a survivor when she can fake it out with her power and make survivors leave loops. If you have good headphones then you won’t lose a survivor. She still has good map pressure.

I’m not very great with Billy either but I do know that he is not as great as Spirit.

Not to mention that Spirit has much better add-ons which turn her into an even more deadly killer. Using double purple add-ons will easily get you a 4K.

    • Use Ruin. Sometimes it’ll last thirty seconds and sometimes it’ll last the entire round.
    • Don’t camp, they’ll just rush the gens
    • Don’t tunnel somebody for an excessive amount of time because you aren’t pressuring the gens.
    • Sometimes you gotta use high tier killers to stand a chance against SWF. Spirit and Nurse will do MUCH better than Trapper and Leatherface.

  • @Poweas said:

I refuse to use Ruin, and I win most the time as Hag, but Spirit gets crushed sometimes and wins effortlessly sometimes. As Trapper, just trap around 3 gens and control those.

I’ve realized that Spirit can do good on ANY map. I tend to have the best luck on Shelter Woods (an obvious one), The Game, and both Red Forest maps. The worst luck easily goes to either Spirit’s own map or any Coldwind map. Despite that, Spirit is never helpless on any map like Myers is on Coldwind maps or Billy on the hospital maps.

I have nights where I play amazing and nights where I play boosted as hell. I usually can consistently get at least 3-4 kills but sometimes I just play so bad and the players mow through generators.

Also, I HATE immersed players, I’d rather deal with four flashlights than four immersed Nea’s refusing to do anything but use Urban Evasion.

  • @Acromio said:

    Neither. Just go Billy/Nurse.

    Nurse > Spirit > Billy > Hag

Spirit is better than Billy. A good Billy can be looped easily. A good Spirit cannot. A Spirit that can follow scratch marks and sounds is better than a Billy

Spirit at her strongest > Billy at his strongest

  • With Hag you’re gonna have to chase on foot unless you are good at pushing survivors into your traps. You also have to know where survivors like to loop and trap those areas. It’s basically cutting off loops and pushing survivors into your traps. Hag is DEADLY with the Mint Rag/Rusty Shackles/Make Your Choice trio.

Spirit takes much more skill to use her ability. You have to follow scratch marks and sounds (footsteps, injured moans, grass and corn moving) very well. Iron Will can be a pain. Spirit however is MUCH better at dealing with SWF groups and is much better at ending chases quickly. Prayer Beads or any double purple add-on is better than Hag’s best combo.

Both easily cut off loops if you know what you’re doing.

Spirit is the second best killer in the game but takes much more to learn than Hag. Both are great killers but if you have trouble with Spirit than Hag is another top tier killer to try.

Ehhhhh... A majority of killers in this game are M1 killers who's M2 either doesn't help them in a chase, or cannot truly down a survivor, or where using M2 is actually a detriment to your ability to down and hook survivors in decent time.

    Trapper M1

    Wraith M1

    Myers M1

    Hag M1

    Freddy M1

    Pig M1

    Doc M1

And I'd argue plague is M1 with the process and time involved in making her M2 deadly you could have just hit them and ended the damn chase....her vile purge has 0 threat and offers a free heal who needs self care? You get a giant ping sound when she activates corrupt and you can easily hide from her towering viewpoint wasting the timer on it, or just wade around a pallet loop till she runs out. (And this is coming from someone who sucks at survivor.)

Hag is an M1 killer but her ability helps her A LOT in a chase.

You also forgot Clown as an M1 killer. Sure his ability helps him but no more than Hag’s ability helps her in a chase.

Plague is mostly an M1 killer. She spends most of the round downing survivors with her weapon. Corrupt Purge is only a temporary power but survivors can fall like dominos if they are grouped up.

  • Legion is a snoozefest. Incredibly boring, I hate going against a Legion, I would go against five Nurses before one Legion. Who genuinely enjoys going against a Legion? Better yet, who gets enjoyment playing as Legion?

That being said, I won’t DC unless another survivor DC’s first (I will never do a 3V1 against Legion).

Just like @Dwight_Fairfield stated...I might kill myself when I get hooked though. I play the game to have fun and Legion is never fun, ever. I don’t wanna play mend simulator.

I don’t mind going against any of the higher tier killers though

It may not be overly difficult to get these things but I personally don't get a ton of games with a Mori or ultra-rare add-on. The few games I do are far outweighed by the games I don't. I also don't get many games with survivors running around with Purple flashlights or the "best" toolbox add-ons. It doesn't mean I don't get these lobbies but (again) the games I do are far outweighed by the games I don't.

Because most people aren’t gonna wanna waste their good add-ons/items/offerings in back to back games. I always have an abundance of moris on my main killers.

It’s not that I ALWAYS run into these things, it’s just never fun to go against. Nobody wants to go against Prayer Beads and 5 blinks.

  • Are you saying she shouldn’t have collision as in she should be able to phase through walls? I don’t particularly agree with that. She is already the second best killer in the game. She needs no buffs. Plus I think collision helps because a lot of times you will bump into a survivor while phasing and know exactly where they are.

  • @QwrtyMan213 said:

I honestly don't know why people think using the add-ons you PAY for with your hard-earned bloodpoints is somehow toxic. Imagine if people thought Rainbow Maps and Skeleton keys were toxic?

Because they are extremely easy to come by. For my past five bloodwebs on Spirit I’ve gotten an ebony mori. There have been times where I’ve seen two or three Prayer Beads on one bloodweb. No add-on is that hard to come by. I can run the most OP add-ons and 4K every single time.

It’s just not very fun to go against. Tell me how fun it is to go against Iridescent Head, Prayer Beads, or a 5 blink Nurse.

Um, hello, in the literal post I said that Spirit and Nurse are literally the hardest to learn.

I didn’t quote you. I was quoting @Croquedead who was stating that they believe Hag and Huntress are the hardest killers to master.

  • @Croquedead said:

The hardest killers are 100% Hag and Huntress.

In terms of learning curve it’s Hag.

In terms of consistency it’s Huntress.

Hag is nowhere near as hard to learn as Nurse or Spirit.

Not saying Hag doesn’t have a learning curve but I’ve only played Hag for about two or three hours and I’m pretty decent at her. She doesn’t take long to learn. You just have to know where to trap and herd survivors into your traps.

Spirit on the other hand takes quite a bit of prediction and has a large learning curve but a very high ceiling of improvement. It didn’t take me incredibly long to learn how to play her though.

Nurse on the other hand takes muscle memory. I haven’t grasped how to play her, but I do play on console though :/

Huntress is also up there when it comes to skill to play. I’ll even argue that she is harder to learn than Spirit is.

  • @tehshadowman33 said:

Seriously, you all must be completely delusional.

    Plague is #########.

You can do more with Wraith.

Huntress is pretty much leagues above Plague.

That’s your opinion. Many people believe Plague is in the upper half of the tier list. If you don’t like then don’t play her, it’s that simple. I think Freddy and Trapper are AWFUL and boring as hell to play but I’m not up here complaining about them.

I would say it's controversial, but hear me out.

Leatherface, in some cases, is actually better than Plague.

If you've got super competent survivors (ones who would never use a fountain) and a map like sheltered woods, which has lots of open areas, then Leatherface is better.

You won't waste time applying broken status, you'll just get your instant down and then straight to hook. Waiting to get someone broken wastes time. Leatherface also can mindgame pallets to make people drop them early, so you can get to break them faster with his chainsaw... Plague can't do that.

Leatherface slows down to about a 97% movement speed when charging his chainsaw...you have to be RIGHT BEHIND the survivor to even have a chance of hitting them.

Survivors not cleansing themselves does NOT make them competent. It just makes it so Plague can one shot them with a melee attack. It is a trade off because they will always be broken and very vulnerable.

Plague only slows to a 110% movement speed when charging her power and can afflict the broken status effect in one puke stream (with the right add-ons) and hit the survivor with a melee and easily down them in seconds.

Plague isn’t even as bad as people claim she is. She’s mid tier, about on the same level as Myers.

Leatherface mindgaming pallets? Please. He wastes time charging his chainsaw and if the survivor doesn’t drop the pallet then he is back to square one and lost a bunch of distance on the survivor. It only works on survivors who panic and drop pallets when the killer is 15 feet behind them. Leatherface is not a viable killer at Rank 1.

Plague isn’t very viable either but she has more going for her than Leatherface does.

Open maps benefit both of these killers.

  • High Tier- Nurse, Spirit, Billy, Hag

Mid Tier- Huntress, Plague, Myers, Clown, Wraith, Doctor, Pig

Low Tier- Legion, Trapper, Leatherface, Freddy

  • @Poweas said:

It's boring, and all you see at high ranks are just Spirits, Nurses, Billys and Hags. There's no variation.

I wish I saw something besides LEGION. That seems to be the only killer I go against. Legion, Billy, a couple of Spirits, and the off chance of a Leatherface or Myers. There is rarely Nurse players on PS4...not that I can say I blame anybody, she is super hard to control on console.

I’m super bored of Legion and Billy. I find both of them to be the most boring snoozefest killers

@MegMain98Its not like i was camping anyone down there. Look at my points, I'm obviously not trying that hard. I just threw on perks. I only do it to get my Leatherface dailies. I don't know why survivors run into the basement with Insidious Leatherface. But it's guaranteed, at least one person per game, will show up down there. The only time I've ever had no one show up, was when I had a triple d/c and the fourth guy said hatch opened in front of him when i asked about it in post game chat. The point isn't that I was Leatherface standing in the basement, the point is the survivor telling me that i should "literally kill myself irl."

People get waaaayyy too worked up over a video game. Just move on to the next match and don’t worry about what happened last round.

Not to mention that it is pretty easy to counter a basement Leatherface. No reason to get salty over a very counterable build. Especially seeing how you didn’t have Iron Grasp or Agitation.

  • @Incirion said:

Had this beauty last night. I stood in the basement with my chainsaw revved with my Insidious the entire game. The salty survivor decided to come down stairs into the basement and wander around in front of me, so I killed them. Surprise. They got super pissed.

I don’t get the point if running BBQ if you’re gonna be a Leatherface basement camper. If the survivors are smart then you’ll get one stack, MAYBE two

Why do survivors run into the basement with an Insidious LF? Why do they go toward the basemwnt AT ALL with a LF? Whenever I go against LF I always go to the complete opposite side of the map of where the basement is.

  • I don’t get the point of having so many threads about NOED. Everyone has a varying opinion and when somebody doesn’t agree with you then they jump down your throat. NOED isn’t going anywhere, it might be broken but everything else in this game is so what is the big damn deal?

Agreed that he is fun to play as but I have a horrible time going against Doctor, not because he is strong but simply annoying. I don’t wanna hear my character scream for the next 10 minutes. It’s one reason I love Calm Spirit.

I like playing as Doc but HATE going against him. Most people dislike playing against a Doc

  • @Incirion said:

I've never changed my argument. You're the one that's just been making stupid assumptions. I am not wrong. If you get mori'd it's the same as dying on your second hook. You keep saying 2 hook states, but you can't actually refute my statement at all aside from saying "blah blah blah 2 hooks." You're arguing about something i'm not even talking about.

Moris remove you from the game earlier than you normally would have. It’s an extremely cheap mechanic. I can run Prayer Beads and an Ebony every round and easily 4K. It’s not difficult at all. That’s all there is to it. The game is basically a “three strikes and you’re out” type of deal and moris make it so you are out before you’ve even reached second base.

  • Grabs are bugged and prevent grabs even when you CLEARLY grabbed them.

I don’t run Prayer Beads a lot. I know what it is like to go against PB, it isn’t fun. It is cheap. Although if I run into the same toxic SWF group again then I’ll easily put on a russian roulette build with PB and an Ebony.

The rarity should be switched with Father’s Glasses. Last time I ran Father Glasses I didn’t even see blood whle phasing. I don’t know if it is broken or not.

I honestly believe that the Spirit’s footsteps and breathing while phasing with Prayer Beads should be enhanced a little on the survivors side. It is very unfun to go against Prayer Beads.

  • Moris and the hatch have two things in common...they are stupid mechanics. Cutting a survivors game short because you brought in a mori is kinda unfair. I can run an Ebony and Prayers Beads each round and 4K. You should only be able to mori a survivor when they are on death hook. There needs to be a bigger prerequisite before you can mori a survivor.

The hatch can reward a player who did NOTHING an entire round and give them a free escape. The hatch needs a rework. It should be whoever finds it first. If the killer finds it first, they should be able to close it. If the survivor finds it first then they can jump in and escape.

You are not entitled to a 4K or an escape.

You are very welcome to post links. The vids I've seen do not address dealing with loopers, or the above mentioned weaknesses. Its all good knowing how to use her, but there are glaring omissions in the practicality of using her against players rather than potatoes!

Not very many killers can deal with loopers though. Nurse is the only one who has zero issues with loopers. Spirit can attempt to mind game loops. Trapper can cut off loops with traps but still has to take the time to set a trap and the survivor will just run to another loop. Vault Master Myers can vault just as fast as survivors so it is kinda hard to get away from him. Huntress can throw hatchets and down survivors over some loops but on some loops she cannot throw over them so she is a basic M1 killer at that point. Plague can only sometimes deal with a looper with Corrput Purge.

Out of 15 killers only one can directly counter loops. 6 killers can in some way cut off or deal with loops. All the other killers can’t do anything :/

"Having effective add-ons" would make anyone viable. Without them she is trash (and still gets no blood points)

Not all killers have good add-ons though. Most of Leatherface’s add-ons are trash.

She isn’t even a trash killer. She’s arguably on par with Myers. People don’t know how to play her correctly. You can’t just spew the puke and expect it to break a survivor. You gotta be right on their tail. Play her like Hillbilly with Vile Purge (meaning get on their ass and puke on them until it breaks them and you can down them in one shot) and play her like Huntress with Corrupt Purge (because it is a ranged attack and it can down survivors)

She’s obviously not as powerful as Huntress but she is MILES ahead of Leatherface. Leatherface is at the very bottom of the totem pole, at least Plague can actually use her power most of the time. LF’s chainsaw is so trash that most resort to strictly M1 attacks, a little bit boring is you ask me.

However I do agree that she gets barely any BP. There needs to be a drastic increase.

  • Huntress is better but Leatherface is not. At least Plague isn’t SIGNIFICANTLY slowed down when charging her powet unlike Leatherface. LF chainsaw is only decent out in the open. Having effective add-ons will break a survivor in a second and is basically an insta-down.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/51561/killers-shouldnt-camp-or-tunnel-it-is-a-scumbag-move

Well the killer isn't responsible for the survivors fun, the games not framed that way its framed to be competitive. Kill your friends is the game mode where people get to actually play in non serious ways. However camping when 5 gens is done is a horrible strategy and I agree its not super fun for either side... well I guess their are some people who find it fun but their are always outliners to every statistic x.x Lots of times however you have survivors who are far too dedicated to removing some one off the hook. I have been accused of camping at times... when all 3 survivors were buzzing around me like flys. Not always the killers fault just tossing that out there.

The game has never been designed to be competitve. The rank system means nothing when you don’t get rewards for being at a high rank.

Both sides are not entitled to make the game fun for the other. Survivors do not have to play to make the killer have a fun round and vice versa.

  • Only reason this is an issue is because it is difficult to double pip in red and purple ranks. Some killers simply have garbage perks. Only Hag and Bubba have Ruin and BBQ. Other killers (Huntress, Wraith, etc...) have useless perks which offer no game delay. Once you get one survivor hooked 3 gens will pop. Even if you do manage to kill them all you’ll probably only get Ruthless Killer. Getting a 4K was challenging enough with some killers.

Only adepts I am missing are Legion and Plague :/

  • She is probably the best killer appearance wise, she looks amazing.

Gameplay wise she is slightly underwhelming. I’ve had rounds where the team completely fell like bowling pins to my Corrput Purge. I have also have rounds where I got maybe four hooks because the entire team was immersed.

I honestly think sickness should spread more easily and stay on objects (generators, vaults, totems) a lot longer than they currently do.

Maybe even have a green fume (similar to the red fume around her when she has Corrupt Purge) around her and have it so the sickness automatically transfer to windows when she vaults over windows.

Fountains should not fully heal survivors.

Sickness should build up on survivors slightly faster than it does currently.

Those are some ideas I have to make her better than she currently is. She isn’t in a horrible state but she has so much more potential to be a better killer.

  • Spirit is a lot harder to learn but has far more reward gameplay. Playing Billy is almost like spoon-feeding you the win. Rev the chainsaw and down a survivor. Find the others with BBQ. Rinse and repeat. Yawn. He’s just so boring to me.

Spirit takes a lot more practice but is easily a better killer. I would recommend Spirit over Billy anyday.

Her chase is far stronger, her snowball is way stronger than Nurse too, she's more unpredictable and can catch you off guard, she's able to mindgame easily, and initiate chases almost instantly after a hook. A god tier Spirit will always be better than a god tier Nurse.

I love Spirit, but I don’t think she’s better than Nurse.

Nurse ignores ALL survivor defenses except flashlights. You can never loop a Nurse, ever. If she knows exactly how to blink then her snowball potential is extremely high. Huntress and Billy also have high snowball potentials.

Spirit on the other hand relies heavily on mindgames and wonky scratch marks. If you can follow broken sounds and scratch marks then Spirit is easily #2 best killer, but good luck trying to catch a survivor with Iron Will when you can barey hear the footsteps.

The reason I believe Nurse is better is because she never has to chase a survivor for an extended period of time and she doesn’t have to deal with loops. A chase can be over in 15 seconds flat. Pair it with Infectious Freight and that overly altruistic SWF team is never going to beat you.

Spirit can’t always mindgame a survivor but Nurse can always catch a survivor and end a chase extremely quickly.

    Nurse > Spirit > Billy > Hag > Huntress > Plague > Myers

Looping a good Spirit is possible if the survivor mains Spirit as their killer. I'm pretty good at looping a Spirit when I play survivor, because I know when to keep looping, and when to run to the next loop, used pallet or not.

What I don't understand is when people try to self-care at pallets against a spirit. I had two people d/c on me because i downed them at pallets while they were self-caring. It's a good time.

I’m also decent at looping a Spirit because I mainly play her, but it’s just a toss up on who is gonna win the mindgame. If she can follow scratches and footsteps very well then she’ll more than likely win. It’s one reason I put Spirit above Billy. A good Billy is easily looped, a good Spirit will usually win a mindgame easily. Spirit is loppable but she can cut it off if she knows what to do.

I will stand still at a pallet and see survivors running in circles, healing themselves, and crouch right by the pallet. If I’m lucky they’ll even vault over into me. The smart thing to do is run away from the loop in the opposite direction.

  • @iceman2kx said:

A off-brand streamer beat me on a trial I was casually playing on a weaker killer. I was just grinding BPs and not even using add-ons, trying to make the game fun for everyone. Super casual, laid back game on amazing internet I think most survivors would be thankful for. This guy decides to BM me at the exit gates to look cool for all 8 of his viewers.

As luck would have it, I got him again in my lobby the next trial. So what do I do? Grab Billy, equip some add-ons, meta perks, Ivory and play a map. Find him first, instantly hook him. Buzz off to the side of the map and did a U-turn to double back on the same hook as his predictable SWF team unhooks him. Insta down him and mori him. I wrecked his game and smacked around his SWF afterwards.

Ofc dude hangs around his lobby to talk smack afterwards. But he was pretty furious after I checked the vod on his stream, "rhee I hope he comes in here to talk smack so I can ban him rheeee". Pretty funny, but he got what he deserved. Toxic people cry the hardest when you beat them at their own game.

I do that quite often if I run into the same toxic player twice in a row. I’m not against running Prayer Beads and the Amulet and making your round hell if you want to try and BM me. I don’t typically get players trying to play overly toxic toward me since it’s kinda hard to be toxic toward a good Spirit. You can’t loop a good Spirit.

  • Just today I was playing Plague and the SWF was way too altruistic. I hooked Meg and got Corrupt Purge and they FED themselves to me. In the end I downed all of them and got a 4K. The Laurie then messaged me and said I was trash for slugging when there was three generators left and that I was trash because nobody pipped because I was a loser killer. Well...I pipped so I was happy.

Really though...am I supposed to NOT down somebody when they run right into to me. I don’t have to play nice if I don’t want to.

    S Tier:

    •The Nurse

    A Tier:

    •The Hillbilly, The Spirit

    B Tier:

•The Hag, The Huntress, The Clown, The Nightmare

    C Tier:

•The Shape, The Pig, The Wraith, The Cannibal, The Doctor

    D Tier:

•The Plague, The Legion, The Trapper

Freddy above MYERS? Plague below Leatherface? That I don’t really agree with. Why do you think Plague is low tier and MYERS of all killers is C tier?

    1. Nurse
    2. Spirit
    3. Hillbilly
    4. Hag
    5. Huntress
    6. Plague
    7. Myers
    8. Clown
    9. Wraith
    10. Legion
    11. Doctor
    12. Pig
    13. Trapper
    14. Leatherface
    15. Freddy

That’s my own personal tier list based on effectiveness in red ranks.

  • I typically don’t dodge lobbies as a killer unless I know the SWF group to be toxic or if I see four Claudette’s in really dark clothes. I realllllly don’t wanna stare through every single bamboo bush to look for four immersed Claudette players.

As a survivor I lobby dodge if I know my teammates are useless or if the ping is really bad. I’m not staying in a lobby with 500 ping.

It is meant for breathing, not effects of the vomit.

Regardless of how the last person answered, he’s correct. It’s not worth a slot and is overall pointless.

It’s not just meant for breathing. Stridor also increases the sound effects of survivors whimpering while injured. It’s a direct counter to Iron Will

I agree with you though. It isn’t worth a perk slot and can even throw off killers by making it seem as though survivors are closer than they actually are.

I’m not sure if it effects survivor sounds while vomitting. Does Stridor effect sound while intoxicated by the gas by Clown? If it does then I’d assume it also would with Plague.

Merciless killer games for adept achievements in yellow/green ranks are a huge pain in the butt due to the requirement to get 15/16 emblems with the killer's own perks, some much harder than others depending upon the killer and their perks.

One of the main problems is that survivors can start working on gens right away without being blocked by Ruin/Corrupt Intervention for the vast majority of killers, so the Gatekeeper emblem is a race against time to try and find a survivor immediately and down them as fast as possible and then hope that their entire team will all stop doing gens to try and rescue that person from the hook so then you can chain hooks fast enough to keep them off of the gens.

Another of the main problems is that if you're too good or the survivors are too bad and you kill them too fast without allowing them to hook rescue, you won't get enough hooks, hits, or chases to get those emblems to iridescent to allow you to get enough emblem points for the double pip.

So, essentially, you need to run into the perfect mix of over-altruistic survivors that are terrible at surviving chases and don't do gens and allow them to hook farm each other. Good luck!

I’m glad I got all of the current adepts at the time this past summer. I’m only missing Legion and Plague. Plague has NO map pressure and I did get a 4K with her but I only got “Brutal Killer” because I killed them all too quickly and they were complete potatoes. It’s very difficult for some killers because their perks do not help them at all. Huntress and Doctor both have pretty useless perks especially Huntress. I got all my adepts in the grey ranks

Exactly. Good luck getting the achievement on Legion. Or Plague. Or Doc. Any killer that people like to d/c against. I'm glad I got my adept Legion before the update. In a game with three d/cs.

I have all adepts except Plague and Legion. I despise Legion and cannot play them to save my life. I just find it difficult to have a perfect round at Rank 1 without Ruin because gens gets done SUPER quickly especially using a killer with little to no map pressure.

It's possible in the yellow ranks if you manage to get the 4k fast enough to keep an iridescent Gatekeeper emblem. So basically you need a team of really bad players who don't do gens. Without Ruin, a double pip 4k is going to be pretty hard, even in yellow ranks.

I’m at Rank 6 at the moment and to be honest I wanna be at Rank 7 before the rank reset because I’ll be in the yellow ranks.

I’ve seen players get a merciless killing and only kill three players, but they were all hooked at least three times and the other players was on death hook, but I’m pretty sure that was before the new ranking system was released.

You just gotta hope to get a team of potatoes, especially if the killer doesn’t have very good teachables.

  • Plague is not a bad killer like a lot of people say. She’s easily on par with Myers. She’s top mid tier. She just can’t compete with killers like Nurse, Spirit, and Billy. She has no map pressure.
