Depends on the situation I guess, I wouldn't be surprised (unfortunately) if in some cases they don't even bother to do the last gen, and only do it when they get bored after some time waiting for a reaction from the afk killer.
Fortunately, it's isolated cases that are few and far between =)
This is 100% truth. I had a SWF do this to me this morning. They did all the gens as fast as they could and then came and found me when there were two left..all four of them..to use their heads ons, flashlights, body blocks etc it was lots of fun. I even stopped playing cause it was a lost cause, but they just kept on until I just dc’d. I’d rather wait out a ban, instead of getting bullied for however long.

"How do you know she wasn’t a baby surv trying to legitimately unhook herself?"
A baby survivor does not have 2000 and some hours in DbD (yes, like everyone else, I sometimes look at the profile of the survivors I face).
"How do you know she wasn’t solo q and had terrible teammates"
Whether she is solo or not is of little importance in our case. Moreover, I remind you that she started killing herself in the early game, while the other survivors had done nothing more than ... repairing generators (1 of which had pop before I hooked her), and that besides, she didn't suck at looping me at all.
"How do you know you weren’t her 3rd nurse match in a row and she couldn’t take it anymore?"
In fact, if you ask me, although I can't be 100% sure, I think what motivated her decision was the moment she saw that she couldn't blind me with her flashlight (yes, I plead guilty, I'm mean, I had equipped lightborn), and that allowed me to take her down right after.
She clearly didn't have the attitude of someone desperate; she would have come straight to me from the beginning, and wouldn't have started the chase; instead, I got the feeling of a child in the middle of a tantrum because he realizes that his toy doesn't work.
"She was trying to leave the game, not wasting your time. You wasted hers. Survivor doesn’t want to play, cool do your part and hook them. Your objective isn’t to say “oh I guess I’ll punish them by slugging.” It’s to down and hook. You’re not the entity."
Yes, I could very well have hooked her again, and gone farming, but on her side, she could very well have left the lobby once she died of exhaustion, instead of waiting for us to finish our veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery long farm session to insult me copiously. It's up to her.
I can agree with you on the lightborn, I always run it and am surprised by the amount of survivors that immediately give up when they can’t flashlight.
I stand by the rest though. I think you’re overly concerned for someone who is playing killer, and not just hooking her and being on your way was in bad taste.
Survivors killings themselves on first hook is a survivor problem, you’re objective is to make sure no one escapes…she just made it easier for you.

First of all, do you really ask: "And why shouldn't she have insulted you?"?
Simply because even if you disagree with someone, respect and politeness mean that you can express yourself without insulting the other person.
That being said, I agree on one fact: I am no one to judge, condemn and punish, and I have no legitimacy to do so.
However, I did not appreciate the fact that she abandoned her team without any valid reason, starting to commit suicide when I had not even started to charge my teleportation to get away from the hook.
For I must point out that although I was playing on my nurse during this game, I was using a non-meta build, I was playing very chill, and when I hooked her the first time, a generator had just been finished.
I should also point out that the length of my chase on her was not excessively long, but it was far from an instadown, she managed some nice baits.
Also, a survivor takes four minutes to bleed out, which is, if I'm not being silly, longer than the duration of the first DC-induced ban phase. It is up to her to leave the game.
Especially since she still waited for the rest of the game to come and insult me in the chat.
And when we know that with the other survivors, we farmed in an optimal way, that is to say to make all the generators, to break all the palettes of the map, to farm the gauges of care until the maximum, to hang all the world 2 times, etc., my faith, if she really wanted to leave... she had largely the time of it
You have no idea what was going on on her end for her to want to kill herself. How do you know she wasn’t a baby surv trying to legitimately unhook herself? How do you know she wasn’t solo q and had terrible teammates. How do you know you weren’t her 3rd nurse match in a row and she couldn’t take it anymore? You don’t.
She was trying to leave the game, not wasting your time. You wasted hers. Survivor doesn’t want to play, cool do your part and hook them. Your objective isn’t to say “oh I guess I’ll punish them by slugging.” It’s to down and hook. You’re not the entity.

As he said, reporting in this game is a joke. Wjy having a report system when you need video evidence of what happened?
I still report hook suicide, hackers, camping and tunneling killers, even tho I know they won't do anything at all
Maybe they don’t do anything about real issues, because they’re too busy sorting through all the non-reportable things that are reported.
You reporting hook suicides, camping, and tunneling are a waste of everyone’s time. Not against the rules, just annoying game play.
-
@Little_Kitten said:
First of all, the mere fact that there is a 4% probability of getting off a hook alone with an attempt renders null and void any complaint about "suicide on the hook".
It is impossible:
- that on the one hand, the players can try 3 times to free themselves, with a final mathematical expectation of 12%
- and that on the other hand, the fact of trying to free oneself is punishable
As for the fact of voluntarily missing his QTE during phase 2: how could you prove that it was something voluntary?
Unless you are in the same room as the player, and watching him to see what is really going on, IRL, you have no proof.
Obviously, someone might say to me, "Yeah, but when a killer commits suicide, but is released while in phase 2, it's easy to tell if he really wants to kill himself, he's running on the killer."
Yeah, unless he's smart. The smartest players will know how to give the impression of playing "normally", when in fact they will just try to discreetly get close to the killer, to feign normal behavior, while making it not too difficult for the killer to catch up with them.
And they do this for two reasons: first, so that the other survivors don't report them for anti-gaming, but also, so that the killer doesn't notice their ploy.
For some killers sometimes tend to punish themselves the survivors who "give themselves away". I know because I've done it; one day, after I chased a Feng Min and hooked her, and while I wasn't really putting any pressure on the game, I saw on my screen, at her icon, that she was making a lot of attempts, and that she was voluntarily omitting to do her QTEs; she was saved in extremis, but came back to me; I put her back on the ground, but then left her on the ground, to go and take care of her mates.
The funniest part of the story is that in the end, the others were not at all teamed up with her, and didn't want to be involved; in the end, I picked her up just as she was about to die of exhaustion, and hung her up. I then farmed with the other 3 survivors, who were very happy that all 4 of us had made points.
The worst part is that even though she clearly wanted to kill herself from the start, she stayed in the lobby until the end, so she could insult me profusely.
Why wouldn’t she insult you? If I’m reading correctly, you left her slugged until she was almost bled out and then farmed w her teammates? You recognized she didn’t want to play, you downed her, you could have hooked her and moved on.

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/354953/hook-suciding-should-i-report
No. It's already been covered that survivors can play as altruistic or selfish as they want, and BHVR has defended that stance since the game came out. If it were otherwise, survivors wouldn't have the option to try to jump off the hook unless running certain perks.
Regardless, it wouldn't have any bearing. If someone is done with the trial, whenever that may be, they're done. Even if they were blocked from suiciding, they'd just run to the killer to be hooked again or AFK under a hook until the crows alert the killer. They're not going to do anything constructive to help.
The more annoying it becomes to leave the more passive aggressive they'd get to end the trial faster. Such as following another survivor around while sprinting to leave scratch marks, throwing pallets or fast vaulting windows/lockers near where a generator is being worked on, stopping and staring at a locker another survivor is hiding in, etc.
What's in the game right now is the best option overall. The person gets to leave, the rest of the survivors get to collect some BPs and have a shot at the hatch/exit. Move on the next trial.
Well said.

Pretty simple question.
If someone decides to kill themselves on the hook immediately, should I report them? I mainly ask this because there's a DC penalty and by hook suciding, they are basically DCing (prematurely quitting the game). Of course, hook sucides are contextual, and know all the different reasons as to why someone should / shouldn't hook sucide.
For example, something I would report is someone going down immediately, failed to self unhook three times, and proceeded to fail two struggle skill checks. Something I wouldn't report is someone hook suciding because it is a sweaty Nurse at 5 generators and there's already one dead with everyone on death hook. The game is already over and they acknowledged that — they are accepting their loss and moving on to the next game.
I see people talk about an automatic system, but again, an AI to detect such cases seem way too complicated and might backfire on innocent survivors who have a good reason to hook sucide. With all this said...
Is it a good idea to report survivors who hook sucide to avoid the DC penalty? Might be a stupid question, but I want to hear opinions before I go further with doing so.
Please keep it civilized and leave your emotions out of this. I just want a cool discussion from this where we can talk and see if we can reach an agreement. Thanks.
They are literally the ones who created the ability to “attempt to unhook,” and failing to do so speeds up the death process…if it were against the rules, I suppose they never would have given us the ability to attempt to unhook ourselves?
Of course much like everything else, it can be abused. But when you’re playing killer, you don’t see everything..maybe they’re playing solo and no one is making a move to come for them anyway…who knows. I can say personally, if it’s my first hook and they let me go into stage 2…don’t bother coming at all.
-
I have had a couple people w the same names as here, when playing killer 😬 they were unique..so pretty sure was the same people.. but I haven’t ever intentionally.

@Quizzy said:
No you're right. Haddie failed because she doesnt fit the small, petite female survivor like the rest. Her being heavily lore focused and introduced way b4 her debut chapter shows that most ppl in this community dont care for lore that much which is honestly a shame.
Its also why the most popular survivor, feng, only has 3 paragraphs of lore to her name for 5 years is carried only by her cute gamer profile and lots of cosmetics.
I for one personally appreciate the lore and popularity of the character which is why im a david main as he's a well rounded character both in popularity on the male side and lore. I admit that vittorio already has the looks to take him far. But i personally will make him my 2nd main not just because of his looks but by his designs, tattoos, and lore(being the 1st survivor from the ancient past).
I truly hope they dont keep doing this fan servicing but i believe its inevitable based on the community wanting it. A shame because we are missing out on lore possibilities. Im still waiting on learning more about the pariah members which hasnt been touched in so long.
Jane isn’t a small, petite female and she does well. I don’t feel it’s Haddie’s face or body type…I like that she’s thicker..I really think her cosmetics are just terrible. I bought her upon release, but I just can’t bring myself to play her until she has better cosmetics.

@darkcloudlink said:
I know communication abuse is a reportable offense, it says in the game rules: "Insults, intimidation, hateful speech, repeated harassment" can lead to temporary bans, but how seriously is this taken? When I play this game, I unfortunately get a lot of really REALLY mean people in my lobbies. Between my time playing yesterday and today I've had one person say: "I bet you're brown skinned" followed by "All ethnic people should die". My next match: "ggez trash killer, your mom's upstairs why don't you go give her a hug, loser". People calling me garbage, worthless, trash, loser, telling me I deserve to die and a bunch of other extremely hurtful insults.
I'm not a super sensitive person, I can take the salt when someone loses to me or when I get beat really badly. It's a game, and there are going to be a lot of toxic people. It doesn't feel good, but it's not the end of the world. But it just feels so much more common lately, and it has really taken its toll on my mood/mental health. I played 3 matches today and had to stop because people were just being extremely mean, and it crashed my desire to play. I think some people feel like they can just say whatever they want because they don't think they're gonna suffer any sort of consequence for what they're saying to other people in game.
I understand you can hide the end game chat, but that just takes away the one social aspect of the game that already feels lacking. I love talking to my solo queue teammates and the killer post-game and talking about whatever happened in the match. I don't want to have that taken away from me just because there are people who want to use it to be toxic.
So my questions are these:
- How seriously is communication abuse taken in terms of reports?
- Where is the threshold to where you should make a report? (I know calling someone a "camper" or a "tunneler" or "toxic" or other minor inconveniences isn't bannable obviously, but where is that line where it goes from being a sore loser to insults/hateful speech?)
- Why does the chat filter block out some character names, perks, game mechanics, streamers and other weird unrelated words, but not genuine insults, slurs and hate speech?
And then to open it up to all of you forum dwellers, how is your experience with people being rude in the end game chat? Do you just hide the chat when it starts to bother you? Do you stop playing? Do you ever bother making a report?
I actually found it really bothersome as well. It was always something, survivors mad I didn’t do a. b. Or c. when playing w them and equally angry when playing killer against them.
I play on Xbox series x, so I just changed my Xbox account settings to friends only and it’s been so peaceful.
Sometimes it does suck not being able to say gg or talk positively w someone after, but the pros greatly outweigh the cons and I’ve found it much better.

Inspired by Pixel Bush's recent statement and the response it got, but informed by a now long history of debate on this issue. People say that the new survivor is clearly tailored to be drooled over to the point of ignoring his actual history and origin in favor of modern fashions and so on, that Haddie's relative failure means BHVR is now entirely focused on making survivors that people want to have relations with, and that it has gone beyond the isolated environment of the spinoff to now infect the main game, destroying what little semblance of horror aesthetic is left. Also, characters like Claudette get outfits that don't at all fit their reserved personalities.
What do YOU think? Do you still want more daddy Ghostface, David, and revealing Kate skins? Or has it all gone all too far? Post your favorite Feng bikini cosmetic ideas as well.
I agree. I’ve always been bothered by how opposite they dress them for their actual personalities (Claudette) and I do find the amount of skin annoying. It’s a game….you don’t have to run around trying to survive half naked. Or shouldn’t have to at least.
I also think the fact they are sexualized so heavily, even though the majority of them are teens-very early 20’s, in very bad taste.

Let me tell you why she is getting too much cosmetics.
So recently she got a princess heart one with the silent hill collection. Also she got a cosmetic from Jill's uniform from the resident evil project w collection. And then this year we got tons of cosmetics from Feng and it's like very annoying how they just get these cosmetics but what about other people like Haddie or even survivors like Yui?
First off BHVR just want her to get these cosmetics even though they let down Haddie and even Jeff. Plus there are tons of survivors that fits some cosmetics but they seem to forget them and just say "Have a Feng cosmetic" Like we wanna buy that like, I'm not a Feng hater but I'm just saying that she gets way too much cosmetics. Even two crossovers apparently this year for Feng.
BHVR just don't wanna admit that they let down every survivor on the list on DBD like Jeff and Haddie even though they coulda have been better on sending cosmetics.
This conversation piece is getting sooo old. Yes, Feng gets a lot of cosmetics…can’t wait for the next one.

There is a second solution. Not changing the entire map, or conditions of a perk because of 1 killers frustration over a situation that rarely happens. Suck it up and move on
Here’s another solution, don’t be so rude. It’s now two killers, and there’s probably lots of others who do in fact encounter this exact situation. So I would say your “situation that rarely happens,” comment has no way of being backed by actual facts as to how often it does apparently happen.

Not even mad. The few times this happens I end up winning because they are not doing gens. it's just boring to go against. This situation is similar to the reason rpd was changed in the library as well. It seems like an exploit that is easily fixed with more hooks upstairs or removing that part of boil over for future map design.
I agree. I’ve had this happen to me on this same map, w a SWF. Their objective was not gens, but tormenting me. I did eventually get a 3k, but I agree it’s a long, boring match..I would rather avoid this situation altogether. They knew I couldn’t hook them w their boil over build up there, so they would take the chase there over and over and over…It’s not even worth the kills, if you end up beating them at their own game.

@Sharpefern said:
So after playing a bunch I am no longer thinking its based on killer, nor on what survivors generally complain about perkwise, the strong ones eruption, pain res/dead mans, call of brine, overcharge, etc. Like I am thinking it now almost 100% is based on how quick the killer ends chase with them. Like I would be willing to bet that if there was a perk that had the highest number of DCs it would be Lethal Pursuer. Not because its super OP but because the killer immediately can get on a survivor and if they get the down quick enough the survivor will just give up. Literally just played a Trickster game on one of his worst maps, Lery's. No trick knives, no photocard. but I did run Lethal. Ran to Claudette and she ran for a bit, actually lost me for a bit after breaking line of sight and then she just stopped. Like I wasnt even doing well. And of course I had a domino effect of people giving up after. I just don't get it.
Like whenever I hear people defend DCs they always mention the same things. Seeing a nurse/blight/spirit for the 4th time in a row. Or tired of seeing Pain Res/Dead mans or Eruption. Or being face camped or tunnelled. But then playing B, C, and D tier killers with mid tier perks, people still will DC on the reg on first or second down. Like Sadako, Freddy, Myers (without tombstone) like WHY? Like what are people hoping for?
While LP is discouraging, I usually run distortion. But if I get immediately hooked at the beginning of the game w lethal, and killer is waiting to down and rehook as soon as I get off…I’ll probably dc. If they hook and go about their killer life, I’ll eat it and continue the game.
My biggest reason for dc’s are…
”teammates” intentionally running killer to me. & Getting downed immediately after being unhooked.
& for people who will complain about dc and just see out the game blah blah..what’s the point of waiting to be death hooked, 2 minutes into the game because I’m being downed and rehooked immediately off hook? And what’s the point of playing w a team that will run the killer to you, to get killer off of them? Not interested.
When I’m playing killer if someone lets their teammate almost die on first hook, I make it a point to kill the rest and let that person get out.

So just don't repeatedly DC any time you don't get your way. Pretty easy to avoid!
And if you DO repeatedly DC, then: Good riddance. Nobody wants players who are going to bail the first time they get downed in a chase, 45 seconds into a match.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3257383#Comment_3257383
I'm not proposing a month-long ban if your internet drops out by accident. I'm talking about moving the penalty for repeated DCs all the way up. If you're ducking out constantly, you shouldn't be playing a team-based game. There are plenty of bad actors, but the folks who are DCing constantly are the same people, over and over who just come back because a 2 hour time out isn't enough to discourage these people.
The only way to fix a ton of DCs is to remove players who think that's an okay think to do in a multiplayer game.
I was unaware they were doing 2 hour bans. If I do dc whether by mistake (something out of my control) or on purpose, it’s about 4 minutes.
They should maybe do some kind of survey when someone dc’s, trying to figure out what a common reason for players intentionally dc’ing is.

There are some days when I'll go to load up a killer match, and then back out instead because I know all too well what I'm going to face. LOL
It's been awhile since I played with Legion, and I figured I would play a match with him the other day. I rarely play Killer so I figured my SBMM rating wouldn't be very high with killer, but I forgot that queue times take priority over MMR if someone's been waiting long, and that's exactly what happened to me. I went against a very sweaty 4 man SWF, and not only did I not get a single hook, I didn't even get a single down. It was abysmal. Needless to say I haven't played killer since that match, and I have no desire to until the bots are implemented.
I hate it when the match ends up like that. I don’t get them often, but when I do I’m just like….????
im the same though…I’ll get all ready for a match, then I’m like ah idk if I can do this right now….maybe I’ll just go get tunneled as survivor instead 😂
I at one point, put a lot of time into trying to main Legion…and honestly, can’t even bring myself to play them at all anymore..:once you get to really high skill survivors, it’s just so easy to out play them

And if that worked, what's to stop killers from ragequitting when survivors bring identical skins, which gives them an unfair advantage by hiding identities? Or when they bring CoH, which is absurdly overpowered? Or when they all bring toolboxes or med-kits or flashlights or whatever?
Pretending that you know best and tanking the game for four other people because you'd rather ruin four other peoples' game instead of have to possibly interact with something you don't like is the behavior or a selfish child who doesn't want to get any better, they just want everything to be made around them.
And that kind of person deserves a month-long ban, to let them think about if they actually want to play DbD, or if they want to just be childish and self-important.
A month long ban?!?
As someone who plays this game daily and has invested a lot of time and money into it, if they were to ban me for a month…I’m not coming back.

switch to survivor, and its always a legion, bubba, or nurse, ngl i feel like im the only person play sadako or pig sometimes
but everyone is saying just use perks, yes as if perks will fix everything, perks are suppose to change the playstyle not fix it.
The instant boon and gen popping is so accurate 😣 yeah it’s little fun. I have to mentally prep myself to play killer at this point, because I already know how it’s gonna be before it starts….

The worst for me was when they butchered the old hatch.
I remember using a search chest build to find keys in game. Plunderer + appraisal + ace in the hole and i would take my chances.
Nothing was more epic than being chased while injured, running with your last teammate trying to find the closed hatch, just to finally escape seconds before the killer down us. Good ol' days.
That moment when they butchered the hatch, i knew dbd was slowly getting into an stale and boring game.
Not much fun for the killer

the game got extremely stale thanks to the "killer update" and mmr
the game is in need of a shake up
either more objectives for survivors and less speed for killer or something, there are a lot of things that need to be changed and yet people seem to be just fine apparently, they are having fun they say....
because you know being locked to one build while there are hundreds of perks to spice up the gameplay is fine and fun
either everyone is far too gone or they are lying to themselves
Always has to come back to some kind of nerf for killer. I play killer, and I’m not having fun either. It’s not “because of killer,” it’s because the game isn’t fun right now.
Playing survivor used to be a fun break, now it’s a tunnel fest…starting immediately at five gens and for no reason. Oh wait…the last tunnel today had reason, the killer wanted to use his mori….
killer isn’t fun, I don’t wanna go against sweaty SWF’s every match. Where you have to go as hard as possible, or get tbagged, clicked at and moon walked at. I used to enjoy giving survivors a break and letting a couple farm or one out the hatch..but there’s so much BMing, it’s not worth it anymore:

See, that's the thing, you can argue that Feng getting cosmetics doesn't detract from the devs doing updates because they tend to be two different teams, but Feng getting cosmetics does mean someone else isn't, because if they can make, for example, 3 cosmetics, at least 1 is unavoidably going to Feng instead of to someone that didn't have a cosmetic for a couple of months.
This doesn't mean you have to feel bad for liking the skin. No one is arguing whether the skins are good or not (and if they are, they're probably venting and missing the point). It means people with other mains have to make do with whatever Tome recolours they get every once in a blue moon and the occasional good cosmetic, while Feng gets an RPD rework cosplay cosmetic, a Pallet Visual Upgrade cosplay cosmetic and Feng cosplay Feng cosmetic every other week.
This also means, unavoidably, that the more cosmetics for Feng they make and the less cosmetics for others they make, the higher the chance players will drop their mains if they see a good cosmetic for her, which in turn means even more cosmetics for Feng because everyone plays her, making this a self fulfilling prophecy.
Ultimately, Feng is the Lux or the Ahri of this game. It doesn't matter if the skin makes no thematic sense for her, as long as you're giving something to her, you're guaranteed some steady income from it.
And, of course, people is salty about this.
Maybe they need at least one of those skins to be guaranteed to do well, so they pick Feng and then take a gamble on whoever else.
I’m a Jane main, so I understand the struggle. When she finally does get something, it’s usually something incredibly unflattering for her body type or just tacky in general. I was very happy she recently got so much. Though the giant bulky belt was a bit much.

I mean, I'm not gonna sit and pretend like we didn't just get toilet paper Dwight.
Lol you know, I have to be honest though…I don’t even play Dwight and I was so tempted to get it 😅 but ultimately I decided not too 😂

"One doesn't take from the other".
It actually does. Art department has so much resources at a time. For every number of hours spent on a Dwight or a Feng, a lesser character goes without.
I appreciate that you said “a Dwight or a Feng.”

I remember when people used to complain that Bhvr was focusing too much on cosmetics and seemingly not enough on balance and fixing bugs. Now people are pissed that they get to save another $10 while Feng mains are literally begging for change on the side of the road to afford their addiction.
I own almost all Feng’s cosmetics, and I don’t main her. When I played her to do some challenges on my bf’s account, I bought some auric cells and then a Feng outfit on his too (because I wanted to play in diff cosmetics)…point being, as long as they make good ones, I’ll buy them. Also not begging for change on the side of the road. It’s $10…

do you think people dc every match? this is not possible many times. it's just that people start protesting because they die in every match. killers are too strong. and this is a question for bhvr. why?
That’s not necessarily true. I’ll suicide sometimes if my teammates are terrible. If you’re gonna let me go into second phase on my first hook, don’t bother coming. If I’m on my first hook, and you’re all not coming to help or working on gens (all three just hiding) I’m all set.
As for dc’ing..usually I’ll eat a tunnel and accept my fate. But if we’re at five gens and you down me straight off hook and are on your way to pick me back up, and put me back on…nope, bye.

I think most of Pig’s power is in her add ons, not her perks…IMO.

I love Haddie's Scuba-diving cosmetic. It really shows what BHVR is capable of when it comes to giving her love. They are capable of it, they just need to do it. She's a character very important to the lore of DBD, she needs proper treatment.
I agree. I was really excited when she came out, and bought her right away..but her cosmetics are still so terrible I can’t bring myself to play her 😬

"Feng doesn’t even have the most cosmetics."
-> Give her some time, she's getting there.
"Feng having cosmetics doesn’t take away from others having cosmetics."
-> Yes it does. BHVR, like any other company have limited resources (time, money, staff). So every time they start making another Feng cosmetic, Haddie / Jonah / Jane / Jeff / Zarina / Élodie / Adam doesn't get one. How many outfits has Haddie got since the anniversary event? Zero. And how many has Feng got? Cheryl cosplay, Jill cosplay, the pop idol outfit.... That's 3. What about Jonah? Only 1 - the rift outfit. So YES, many characters have been deprived of cosmetics because Feng keeps getting them instead. (and Meg, Mikaela...)
I love Feng, I enjoy playing her. But I also enjoy playing Jonah, Haddie. Where's some cosmetic love for them?? I want more cosmetics on them, please.
Haddie really does need cosmetics, hers are terrible

It has been confirmed in interviews/Q&As and was a reason given why all the holiday cosmetics we voted on could not be done.
Thank you, that’s interesting and good info

why arr you so upset that people are upset about feng??
It’s annoying to constantly read about it being inserted into every discussion. I’d like to read some new thoughts, ideas, complaints…

Feng getting new cosmetics often as well as the other handful of characters that frequently get cosmetics DOES take away from others getting cosmetics. BHVR only budgets for creating so many cosmetics in game per year.
Has this been confirmed? Or is this your assumption?

Okay, Feng getting another licensed character's new outfit once was funny, but at this point it's getting a little sad. We know she's a cash cow, BHVR, you don't gotta be so obvious about it.
I'm thrilled about getting Princess Heart for Cheryl, and her first outfit in two years is some good food for Silent Hill fans, but c'mon. Is this just how it's going to be now? Feng Min 'cosplays' every new female outfit that looks like it might sell well?
Why does everyone care? If you don’t like it or want it, don’t buy it. Cheryl still got hers…Jill still got hers. One doesn’t take away from the other. I bought Jill’s and then also bought Feng’s cosplay of Jill. Like seriously, it’s not a big deal. And obviously despite the massive influx of Feng hatred, obviously enough people are buying her cosmetics for them to keep them coming consistently…

The offerings are low in cost, same as a common bloodweb node.
It has also happened several times in the past that they reused the offering for the next iteration of the event, for example the pustula petals and the red envelopes.
While they are low in cost, OP is right. They do add up. So they were what..2k in cost? My trapper alone has over 100 left. So that’s 200k BP’s for something now unusable.
