I love working on gens.
Gens are the key to victory, staying on it even when you hear the TR, even when a killer has gone stealth, no matter what is pressuring you to leave, staying on it is what makes gens interesting.
Those that dislike gens should find another game to play, they dont understand why the gens exist in the first place and odds are they dont work on them enough to be winning matches they absolutely shouldve.
By the way, almost every game in this genre has this 'hold position + skill checks' design, it just works.
-
Wait for Shrine of Secrets to get their perks, unless you like Zarina aesthetically, there is no reason to buy the chapter or the characters.
-
Okay, Hyperfocus requires you to stay on a gen and never get off of it and also land the skill checks.
Pain Resonance forces the survivor to stop, ruining their combo, reminder that you need to land a second great skill check before you see any bonuses.
Surge will blow up a gen and destroy any Hyperfocus combo
Infectious Fright will cause a survivor to scream and force the Hyperfocus combo to end.
Unnerving presence will reduce the size of skill checks and increase their chance of failing, stopping their hyperfocus combo
Discordance will tell you of any survivors working together to rush the gen together, simply use any mobility/long range killer to interrupt them and eliminate all value out of Prove Thyself.
Doctor will impede your ability to land skill checks, and will also interrupt their Hyperfocus combo if you shock them
Artist will put a survivor at great risk if they continue to work on a gen, while also being very easy to scout gens in the first place. If they refuse to move after being afflicted with crows, you injure them and interrupt their Hyperfocus combo.
Pinhead will force survivors to leave their gens to solve The Lament Configuration and also force them off when the Chain Hunt completes/ gets picked up from the carrying survivor.
These are but a few of the examples I could think of off the top of my head, there is plenty in the killer arsenal to remove these two perks effectiveness in a match.
Remember children, Adapt...or die.

I don't know how anyone forgets the reason why
EVERY Billy player before the Overheat mechanic would run circles around the map until they found someone, then down them while turning on a dime, then run circles around the map on repeat until everyone was dead.
Fail? Camp a hook.
You didn't have to try, eventually you'd hear a gen or find a survivor.
The mechanic currently does nothing if you arent doing one of the above, its nearly impossible to overheat and people just love to whine
-
Pablo as a survivor would be awesome
-
Try being a stealth killer sneaking around in broad daylight ass Coldwind. Yeah, no, it needs to be night.
If it had the option of both, there should be a night and day offering for Coldwind.
-
The only thing that was increased was Survivor Detection, Object Collision detection stayed the exact same amount.
Now, if you believe that this isnt the case I would make a bug report about it
I would check as well, but im not willing to sit in a multi-minute queue just to be clowned on while learning a new killer.

Prove Thyself is popular for the same reason BBQ was popular, its a Bloodpoint generator.
When BBQ got its BP multiplier removed, its usage tanked and was replaced with other information tools.

Reassurance doesnt work from the floor above I don't think, so it wouldn't help here.
Reassurance does work from different floors, it just has to be within 6 meters. You can Reassure someone from the different floors in Midwich, and the different floors in The Game. Just have to align yourself on top or below them.

Aiming with Pyramid Head's power makes me physically uncomfortable. It's like the Uncanny Valley of control schemes.

Pyramid Head...

Play survivor and attempt to lose people in corn, then play killer and try to not to lose the survivor in the corn. What you'll find is a good killer can see through corn and a bad one can't

if only there was a way to down vote a post. Yuck.
Here you go, friend.
-
Mikaela will spend the entire match booning the same totem the killer already knows about until everyone is dead and wonder why the game went so horribly.
-
It's stealth. It makes the game scarier. You can either use it to your advantage or complain about it.
You can sneak up on unsuspecting survivors or lose killers by making randoms turns inside it
-
Context is extremely important
Teabagging can mean hello if you first meet a fellow survivor
Teabagging can mean thank you if you do it after another survivor does something for you

If the killer has camped a survivor for more than 10 seconds, red text should remind survivors that generators exist. That might help push them in the right direction.
you know how when survivors get injured their UI gets brighter to highlight that information? that should happen with the gens when someone camps.
It will never be enough, there will always be your claudette's and Meg's crouching 12 meters from the hook for 2 minutes and then complaining in Endgame chat.

Weapons cost screen real estate, the less the weapon is in view the better it is for your gameplay. This truly could not be better for a killer.

Pretty damn good.
It's funny because it's actually possible to bodyblock against his power now, whereas before you could thread the needle past one survivor to hit another survivor fairly consistently.
Wesker can push the first survivor into the second one and injure both, sounds like a net bonus to me.
-
Discordance.
-
sounds extremely likely
They probably look at every horror movie and see what is the easiest to put in the game while making it their own.
-
I spread my BP's on all killers, despite playing more survivor. I dont need items, so unless im leveling for more perks, my survivors never gain Prestige.
Sad, but tis' the life.
-
We're tired of the same survivor perks!
Survivors: *uses different perks that are required together to successfully use*
We're tired of the same survivor perks!
-
This is always on the survivors. Its so obvious to know when you're working on a gen that does or does not split gens up even more.
If you're working on a corner gen instead of the center gens, we know where you stand on the 3 gen issue.
-
I get quite a few actually, but I'm used to powers of that similarity and my ping is surprisingly low. I'd say between 6 and 10, there's quite a few situations in which the grabs are free, you just have to be fearless and commit to your chokeslams.

signed, secretly, a survivor main.

A dev did say that Blast Mine was bugged since it came out. They only realized it when coding Wiretap. They also mentioned in the same post, they do need to look at it.
its scarier to think that they believed it was supposed to be this way all along.

Solidifying Lethal meta without buffing Lethal.

..

Discordance.
-
who's "many people"?
Almost everyone knows how truly horrible that would be for the game.
-
Shelter Woods first and foremost. There is nothing of interest in the map, there is no special tile, there is no main building, there is no special mechanic, its just dead zone with filler loops at the edges. Cant even stealth as either side on the map

tbh just make it only work on default repair, same way Autodidact does for heals
sure, but can both perks have a base increase to skill check chance so that they're both actually usable.
-
make spreading hooks grant baseline bonuses or expect the same killer gameplay for the rest of eternity, its really that simple.
-

Every time I go against a HUNK survivors either DC or leave on their first hook. I'm not really looking forward to playing as HUNK later on...
yes, because HUNK is still Legion and no one likes Legion except those that play Legion.
-
they probably didn't include that because Pinhead exists and that's overstepping his bounds.

I'm from Latin America, the land of brown people like Carlos, and believe me, nobody cares, don't make a racial problem where everything is cool
guess what, I'm brown like Carlos as well, and Colorism is an extreme problem in Latin America, actually.
-
I literally just saved someone who was about to go into struggle by leading the killer away from the hook but instantly activating the perk.
-
Okay, I'm glad im not the only one who thought this.
-
Because tunneling and camping are not meant to be strong, this is their new philosophy.
-
So strange, almost all my Feng Min experiences (pre-bunny) were Feng Min's running to me with a toolbox or medkit they found from a box and gifting it to me.
Donning the suit changes her...
-
BT extends the benefits already included in the basekit. Killers are going to have to run all the way across the map if they want to down the survivor now, as the duration in addition to the speed boost will eliminate any chance of a killer tunneling efficiently.

Maybe it's because "Sadako is an A tier killer"... she is so powerful that she apparently bypasses any killswitch.

she hit and ran the killswitch

Mobility is the strongest and most flashy mechanic in almost any video game, Wesker will be more popular. Why lug around giving people third health states when you can move faster, slow others down, use pallets to your advantage, and diss your survivors all at the same time?
-
random survivor: (incoherent screaming) WHY DIDNT YOU SAVE ME OFF THE FKING HOOK?!?!?!
Kindred user: looks at survivor in the basement with Bubba in the corner
Yeah, comms are gonna be a no from me.

If you stand in right spot you can block the hatch so survivor can't enter in sounds you got unlucky.
similarly there are places in the map where you can stand and see both exit gates, eliminating any and all chances for the survivors survival.

We need it to be operational few more months before we start considering killswitching it

I love the concept, but I don't believe the perk should work immediately, there needs to be a small grace period of <15 seconds in which the killer can prepare to pick up the survivor, if that was their intent (break pallets, open breakable walls, scare off a flashlight survivor)
-
Work the gen closest to the box, if caught, move directly away from the box, if someone else gets caught, grab box after injury or down to force a non-ideal situation for Pinhead.
Don't get how no one understands such a simple concept.
I think fighting Pinhead is real fun, randoms aren't fun against any killer, lets all just say we hate them.
Yes I am looking at you, self-caring claudette 3/4 into a Chain Hunt while you're Mangled and Haemorrhage'd
