Kinda glad that ppl like this would uninstall, the game is probably better without these kind of players.
Preach, friend.

Default Ace is literally disgusting. No I cannot do it.
-
Self-Care needs to just be deleted from the game, one perk makes everyone in the match miserable.
Spine Chill definitely needed the nerf, whats the point of a horror game with stealth killers if the moment the stealth killers try to use their stealth powers they alert the survivor to their location and they also receive a vault bonus on top?
I never understood the reasoning behind wanting to nerf Iron Will. Stealth already is nearly impossible with the myriad of Killer Instinct and aura reading abilities. If you want to spot an Iron Will survivor, play Legion, Nemesis, Oni, Plague, Doctor, The Cenobite (chains will point out the direction of IW survivor and they are also audible),
-
its about 65 survivor / 35 killer for me. This isnt because I dislike killer more, its more that I like the concept of working together.
However when I play solo and have multiple games of selfish teammates or those who give up immediately, the scales tip further into killer
-
Since Dredge release I saw her twice.
-
I was the last survivor left. A hook was nearby. The hatch was closed. I had nothing available to pick myself up with.
The killer was simply sadistic and wanted for me to bleed out for 4 minutes.
You're saying I shouldnt be able to remove myself from the match early because...?

After this patch goes live, survivors will only have three perks to speed up repair times: Prove Thyself, Resilience, and Overzealous.
Prove Thyself simply offsets the 15% repair penalty for multiple survivors on one generator. So while it may speed up that one generator, it is still less efficient than survivors spreading out on multiple generators.
Resilience is 9% faster, which is less than 10 seconds off of a full generator repair and requires staying injured.
Overzealous will require cleansing a hex totem for its strongest value (16%), and deactivates upon losing a health state. You will have to cleanse a hex totem then do one generator from start to finish uninterrupted just to break even. Two generators if it was a dull totem.
I don’t see a problem with any of these. Especially considering killers are still getting a ton of gen defense perks buffed, even if a couple are being nerfed.
Deja Vu
Stake Out
Fast Track
-
I literally just had a killer watch me bleed out for 4 minutes. There was a hook nearby, I didnt have any perks that wouldve allowed me to free from their grasp. The hatch had already been closed. They just wanted to watch me bleed out the entire time.
-
That ain't the PTB boo, try again.
That ain't proof, thats a whole lie.
If it was proof, you'd show me a video IN the PTB where this situation occurred and the survivor still was able to escape.
This is no such case.
showing me perks that have similar effects is not the same thing as a person using said perks in the killer's buffed state also not including multiple other buffs such as reduced survivor injury duration (which again, since that is not the PTB, was not shown) the base gen damage boost which would happen after that survivor would have gotten downed, and other changes as well.
-
honestly if turning on the flashlight (clicking) had a base cost, there would be so much less egoistic survivors.
They click because they know the flashlight will still have charge, they can still blind at pallets and have room to spare. If it cost .5% or 1% per click, then suddenly their cocky taunting nature has turned into their own demise if they were reliant on the item at all.
Also, people have photosensitivity issues and we should listen to these people.
Implementing %drain kills two birds with one stone.
-
I, as a survivor, want to inflict other survivors with Broken sometimes.
-
His teleport is good, but everything else doesnt matter.
Remnant at loop, leave the loop. Nightfall? Sprint Burst.

How does one git gud against nurse. Any examples?
Here is a comprehensive list of successful tactics against Nurse:
-
Oh my goodness, almost a year later and people still are saying things like
"Despite knowing that Solving the Box will solve my issues, I would much rather have this simple mechanic be nerfed to the ground so that it does not impede any action I could possibly do, whatsoever!"

It's funnier to see them tell us they nerfed Self Care with a straight face
Body is 1 character too short.
-
you dont deserve to unhook for free.
Either perform the save properly, or dont perform the save at all.
-
Self-Care needs to be deleted, this is their way of saying "please stop picking this perk!"
DS is undeserved because of the fact that they want to nerf tunneling, but by nerfing DS, they made it so that a killer can kill a survivor their tunneling far faster than before.
The conspicuous condition means they arent working on anything, so whats the reason for its nerf other than to persuade the meta to shift to OTR?
-
Killers should see survivors, survivors should not be able to switch items in the last 15 seconds of the lobby timer.
Done.
-
I am loving the curse mechanic idea, very thematic and will make survival equate to necessary interaction with her power, similar to how Pinhead operates. Choosing not to participate can lead to the demise of your team.
-
To be fair, the survivors are the real killers of DBD. You lose more due to what your teammate did/did not do rather than the actions of the killers themselves.
Not to mention the trolling, dc'ing, and general BM that conflates the kill rates immensely. It only takes one to kill everyone.
The amount of games that are ruined by poor teamplay/toxic behavior is what im going to assume is larger than 5%, so they are increasing potential kill rates to counteract the overinflated stats.

Maybe I misread the update, but thanatophobia was 5.5% and is now 22%, that's a 16.5% difference, not a 2% difference. That's also buffing the top end killers, who happen to use that perk the most. Nurse and Blight are both heavy users of thanatophobia.
Thanataphobia was 5% and is now 5.5%, for a total difference of 2% at 4 injuries.
Yes, the total slowdown will be 22%, which is not to be ignored. But the difference between 22 and 20% is not massively game changing by itself.
-
Nerf Self-Care more!
#DeleteSelf-Care
-
It's strange that they had a bloodlust-less event, said that disabling it made no difference, then went ahead and buffed it.
Fix the maps, not the consolation prize mechanic.
-
I can infect with Nemesis now, I can actually use my chain on Pinhead, I can ACTUALLY PLAY TRAPPER WITHOUT THEM RUNNING RIGHT OVER THE ENTITY DAMNED TRAP.

You do know it will be much easier to cleanse at endgame now right?
what does it matter when Bubba will be rushing to whoever activates No Way Out, leaving the one remaining survivor to cleanse the totem. In which case, that survivor just revealed their exact location and they are now dead as well.
4k.
-
I cant wait for the No Way Out/NOED games to skyrocket now that its going to be even harder to survive under those conditions when the killer is camping.
Cleanse? The gens dont get done before everyone is dead.
Don't Cleanse? You are all dead, but you know, at least the gens got done, right?
-
Signed, an Iron-Will Self-Care Spine Chill user.
-
Well I would love to play different killers, but you can Dead Hard Nemesis' tentacle from both damage and infection and Pinhead's chain from doing anything at all while you're forced to stand still...
Dead Hard sure is something
-
On The Game, I picked up one and ran into another one about 15 seconds later.
It's all in Ranald's Gift.
-
Damn, I love me some Ace, but I only spend enough money to get every perk on him and that's it.
I'm not an Item-Every-Match gamer. I want to level killers too because I play both sides
Now I'm gonna have to always have that monkey on my back of how low my Ace prestige is or how low my Prestige is on a certain killer I enjoy when I'm just trying to spread the bloodpoints around.
-
Did the killer just...kill? Reported.
-
if he remnants in chase, abandon loop and continue to the next one. he moves too slow to stop you
-
Before her entirely justified nerfs, she was seen every third or other game. I'm very happy rarely seeing her.
-
If Spine Chill doesnt get that nerf stealth killers will never be viable. I mean, Sadako never will be in her current state, but current Spine Chill doesnt help.
Also, Spine Chill removes the horror from the game. Stealth killers need to be scary!
-
I was looking up gifs for DBD in Discord, and saw gifs of how cheats look in-game. I dont see what you CAN'T do with their cheats.
-
Finally; Spine Chill will no longer work on Undetectable killers
Lightweight makes your footsteps quieter
Self-Care gets deletedSole Survivor gets deletedNOED has some kind of requirement that is impossible if you camp.
D-strike no longer works if you jump in a locker.
Overzealous actually saves you time on gens
we have hope for Hope
Eruption causes an actual Ne-a parasite to jump out.
-
They definitely could've updated the graphics without touching the lighting and fog that made things otherworldly and murky.
-
How dare a killer work with 3 perks the whole game and you get to live until after the gens are done. what a horrible life it is...
get your ass on a totem.
-
STEALTH BUFF
STEALTH BUFF
-
The Watcher.
-
No no no, it's 'The Entity Hungers...' screen now
-
if they change out the border and crappy pixelated background out for something that fits the term 'prestige', id like that.
I wouldnt be that upset if i got bloody portraits, but Im not excited either.
-
Deathgarden did this, and it influenced who everyone played.
The Runners (survivors) had a list of perks and powers they could use, if you couldnt get your perfect combo on that character, you played someone else.

I think that haddie either dyed her hair streak blue, or her hair streak is blue in the game because it looks cooler. Either way i do wish her streak was white.
Dang, BHVR ignored the cool look AND the lore?

Every game has an ending at some point, I don't say dbd is at its ending but steam charts says that playerbase (at least from steam) are going down, faster.
Many players left because:
- They changed OG maps. Everyone loves the og things, oldie but goldie. The old maps had totally different atmosphere, with the fog and ambient effects.
- Matchmaking aka MMR. It doesnt belong in games like dbd because this is not a competitive game. It's a casual game in the end of the day and you can't balance it since it's a 4v1.
- Bad balance in terms of perks, killers and maps. They continue to make big maps which affects killer's without some kind of ability of travering the map and protecting the gens. Even Nurse struggles against big maps. You win 10 matches as killer and you'll start to see only the same perks, dead hard, dstrike, bt, iron will, unbrekable etc, which is boring. We have 7 pages of perks, at medium/high level you see only up to 10 perks being used.
- Cheaters, a lot of them (just had a match with 2 in the same match). The game is plagued with cheaters and they seem to not be going away for some time already. And even if you report them with proofs, they still aren't banned, or are banned after 1 month.
- SWF. Denies a lot of perks and killers ability to win games, without a penalty.
- Solo-Q is awful.
- Survivor's objective is more easier and faster than killer's objective aka get 12 hooks if you can which is impossible without hard tunnel or camping + 4 gen perks. (I talk about medium/high level skill bracket).
About hatch and keys, the "rework" aka nerf was a lazy move from them, it took them years to just change in the code some lines and that's it. But as it was before was too easy for survivors to get all gens but 1 and escape and t-bag the killer.
About the upcoming mori change I would say it's again - a bad move. Basically the yellow mori will be basekit and yeah.. that's it. It's a lazy move.
Personally i play this game since 2017, I would say the game was actually fun and enjoyable during 2018-2019 times, when the game was somehow "balanced" and the old maps were the greatest... Will never be the same.
this game wouldve been dead a long time ago without SWF

This really doesn't seem in line with other killer powers - especially the passive ones. You can clearly see:
- How much time before you fall asleep against Nightmare (Freddy)
- When chain hunt will begin while facing Pinhead
- When you'll be broken against Plague
- How much Sadako (Oynro) has condemned you
- How many more blades until you'll lose a health state by Trickster
But Nightfall? You only get a brief audio cue just seconds before it starts, dimming your field of view greatly. Why aren't survivors given a more meaningful heads up?
Same reason why you they got rid of the warning for Myers, why warn someone of something they have no counter for?
-
Yeah, Entity forbid a horror game has horror elements for once.

Remove Stealth killers one shot ability then. Don't harp about nerfing something without balancing it. So what's your balance idea?
You counter Spine Chill by moonwalking and strafing. Its not that hard to counter at all.
Killers legit want ez 4k's every game with no challenge still to this day. DH? I totally understand disliking that 2nd chance get out of jail free card. But Spine Chill? They already tried to nerf it a long with premonition. it was a ######### show lol
There is no Stealth killer with a "one-shot" ability that is also strong. Nope, not myers, GF, or Sadako (after 7 stacks and even then it's not Exposed) are strong...AT ALL.
2 of those 3 have no capability to counter the perk in any fashion while still having a power.
You have a large amount of killers that Spine Chill works on, and you have all the extra (and unnecessary) bonuses that Spine Chill provides as well.
Losing Spine Chill against Undetectable is a non-issue.
