Why does a survivors mmr matter to you?
-
With shards, yes.

I know it wouldn’t, so I’m not sure why so many posts say lots of people think it would.
because people will do anything to protect their perks and gameplay from being nerfed in any manner shape or form, regardless of how miniscule of an effect it could possibly have.

someone on the dev team has a bandage booty fetish
-
Atmospheric horror would be what I prefer, but the occasional; something dramatic happens that scares me is good too.
-
-
I used to love Premonition when I first started playing, but as the need to speed the game along grew over time, I had to drop it.
-
I do miss being scared at the gen on the top floor, but the amount of crappy situations that can happen there makes it hard to truly miss the map.
Great atmosphere, not so great gameplay/
-
I would like to not wait 15 minutes for a match, obviously its an enrollment issue, but it's hard to tell how the game is when i cant play it.
-
"Who needs a map?"
-
Changes that large would more than likely be bugged for months or straight up never function as advertised.
Its been a year and Nemesis zombies still do nothing the majority of the match.
-
STBFL can make it impossible to perform a save, can make hits in small loops render the loop useless, and throws survivors muscle memory off.
They can no longer properly perform flashlight blinds, reach windows they thought they could etc. etc.
-
"omg solo survivor is so hard!!!"
*proceeds to leave people to die on hook for trying to escape on their own*
Be chill y'all, there is no malice behind their actions. Why does there have to be malice in yours? Shows a lot about your personality.

Damn, seems like there's too many people that are hiding behind a veil to disguise their queer phobias.
Just let queer individuals exist in media, aint gotta crap on it for no reason.
The announcement was entirely justified cause I sure as hell know I am not the only one who doesnt read Archives lore. I would have never known if there was no announcement and it was just there hidden and tucked away.
What may seem heavy handed to you, may be a cheer of joy to another. This needs to be understood. Queer representation matters, and will always matter.

This.
I'm still surprised that they really went through with this power even though they could've done so much more with a KPOP killer. AOE effect? Music? Nah, just some knives.
The first teaser they showed was a KPOP version of the DBD theme being played and reversed. I thought the killer was going to have control of time in reference to the survivors.
A killer in Identity V does this exact thing, they can set a survivor or themselves back a few seconds.
-
The answer is, there needs to be a better animation that conveys the struggle and how you successfully free yourself.
-
Something tells me you've never played killer during Events in which survivors could sabotage Event Hooks, it is a miserable experience and leads to what every survivor says they hate: Camping and slugging.
You want killers to hook you, it just makes for a better game experience. Making killers not want to hook leads back to camping and slugging, which survivors say they hate but will do everything to ensure it happens to them.

Havent seen a bubba in weeks
Yeah i've seen one, and they did not camp so I have nothing to complain about here.
Instead I got a Deathslinger that knew every single hole in Haddonfield that he could shoot through.
-
The disgusting turn rate limit makes it really hard to enjoy playing as him. It's like nails against a chalkboard.
I get the balance reasons why, I have absolutely no problem with that, but the feel of it, is horrendous.

Funny coming from a survivor
In my experience, 90+% of the matches where i 4k, nobody says a thing
Funny enough, 90+% of the matches where i 0k i got "ggs"
Go figure :)
because the survivors that are dead have moved on to the next match.
Nobody is going to wait until every other survivor has died or escaped just to say gg.

I miss the old graphics.
Don't get me wrong, the new ones look cleaner and a lot more high quality, but the old graphics just had this special feeling and atmosphere that the new ones didn't quite manage to recreate.
yeah, there was something about the otherwordly look of it, it wasnt real, it wasnt normal, you know it wasnt a place you could live in.
I always remember the sky, the cloud were moving incredibly quickly, and the color was always so intensely off (brownish orange, sea green, washed out dark blue).
They forgot about that when they did The Realm Reborn, they went too pristine and forgot about atmosphere.
Coldwind is by far the worst offender. While the inside of places (slaughterhouse, killer shack, Thompson House) look amazing, you have the actual 95% of the map that you could use as a postcard for a lovely day on the farm.
-
To me it would truly suck if the further prestige's were based on the BP you pour on to the character.
I adore Ace, absolutely love him, but once he has all the survivor perks in the game, i switch to killer to put points into them, as I would never want to play killers without a full loadout.
If I have to now choose between pouring points into Ace for prestige (personal achievement), or Killers/other survivors (value, gameplay improvements), its going to drive me up a wall.
-
3) put crows in a position where they will be hit if they leave the loop in a position that is advantageous to them
4) watch the injured survivor go down as you outsmarted them.
That's it. That's the fun.

I might be against the tec if it has a counter does it have a counter?
the tech removes counters, you cant stop a blight from hug teching, and once they hug tech, you cant stop them from going around the corner they wouldnt have otherwise if the exploit was patched out. There is no agency for the survivors, the killer uses the exploit when its to their advantage, and doesnt when it doesnt.

Btw first update for evil dead is improving anti cheat. Credit where credits due there has been a good few cheaters banned. But the report system desperately needs to be refined.
Hmmm, i havent encountered a hacker yet...then again an invisible killer and survivors that arent visible until you find them/make noise makes a ripe scene for hacking with no proof.

It can be annoying but I usually play killers like trickster and artist and I have a decent time.
yeah this is very much killer dependant. I play Nemesis so I know that when those pallets are destroyed, i can steamroll the rest of the match.

If all the remaining survivors are in the exit and killer isn't around to down them I think it's fair for EGC to speed up.
better yet, if all survivors are at gate and the killer concedes, The Entity just straight up grabs the survivors and pulls them out of the match.
-
Yeah balancing around hooks is way better than balancing around kills.
Games where there are more hooks are always more fun for both sides than those with less hooks. So having killers buffed so that they are able to secure more hooks, rather than more camp to deaths, slug to deaths, what have you, is optimal.
The key is how you balance in a way that killers would desire to hook more ( be the optimal strategy), which more than likely would mean a restructuring of the hook mechanic as a whole and adding incentives/buffs upon hooking.
-
someone was working on this gen, the zombie was stuck on the top the entire time at the boxes.
Instances like these have a drastic impact on the outcome of the match.
I can send multiple videos of me as survivor casually working on a gen, as a Zombie fails to understand that they can walk around terrain to stop me from working on a gen.

This wouldn't work unfortunately because the perk only breaks pallets that are fast vault over. A slow vault from a chained survivor wouldn't do it.
and thus, my hopes are shattered into nothingness.
-
Carlos, or I will patiently wait for a third RE dlc for Calos yet again.
-
@Dead_Harder said:
Probably pretty mediocre on most killers. Only exception are those rare few where you cant realistically hold w against, who can get an easy first hit on you and who can be countered by pallets.
So the killers i can see this perk absolutely working on are
1- Blight
2-Legion
3-Wraith?
4-Sadako? and maybe Dredge?
Pinhead, land the chain and walk on through once they finish vaulting.
-
Hag, i both forget they exist and would never want to play against or as them.
-
my Dream chapter would be Dream Daddy, of course.
-
Evil Dead has this, 90% of the time someone has a mic, they're using the mic that comes with the Playstation controller and its just a bunch of echoing the game, sniffling, and fan noises.
-
because 50/50's shouldnt be 80/20's on a low skill killer.
-
@dspaceman20 said:
If they are destroying the meta then they have to make base gameplay adjustments since most meta perks are used to handle annoying issues (tunneling and camping and gen rushing)

Wishful thinking.
in the same post about the meta perk reworks, it says they will be making basekit mechanical changes in response to the change in the meta perks.

I can't believe people are still dictating and linking skill to which console you play... gamers these days and their elitism with whatever console they own.
this is certainly not about skill.
Killers on console are indubitably worse than PC killers. Why? Because of what hardware they control their character with.
Survivors are no different, its infinitely easier to look behind you and back forward while using a mouse, you can turn corners tighter and with more precision, 360's arent slow or easily telegraphed (trust me, i play killer too, i know what a console 360 looks like in comparison.)
The only aspect of survivor that isnt affected by being on console is working on a gen.
Oh, lets not forget about Pinhead and the multiple maps for a single button for survivor. Console survivors will constantly accidentally vault when they meant to perform another action, leading for an easy grab for Pinhead.
-
Prestige does not equal resetting progress.
Prestige only means you've reached the next rank of progression.
-
This is how I would change BBQ.
The BP stacking effect is only active once you leave the hook OR you damage another survivor while the hooked survivor is still alive.
If you camp someone to death and you do not injure another survivor, you forfeit the stack.
Everything else stays, just promotes healthier gameplay.
Ruin...I don't know how you'd change ruin, besides making a lesser version of it basekit and having the Hex boost it. Im a totem b*tch so I look out for Ruin anyways, I dont particularly think it outshines everything else unless the killer is provided so much pressure that there is no time to search for the totem.
-
Her look in the cinematic looks wonderful, especially the frame they used for the thumbnail where all the glass is shattered behind her and she stares at the 'camera' defiantly.
I just wish that energy translated into the game and she didn't look as goofy.
-
would you want to fix this bug?
I can think of many situations where I was a killer who I wished could attack a survivor up a hill, all while they teabag me as I have to traverse all the way around it.
-
@Starrseed said:
Wait you have better visibility when you play on low quality? Woulnd that mean that they should choose one quality setting and force it on every one so we are all on the same page
there was also a long period of time in which you could see The Red Stain through walls on the lowest quality setting.
-
I hope they have unique hair with the cosmetic, because default Ace is still looking fugly if the only thing changing is him putting that mask on (even more so if he keeps that hat)
-
if its not fashion, whats the point?
(even then, its better than a charm)
-
I dont know her!

New Mercy Animations for the Killers. Trickster gives the survivor a signed autograph etc...

This good idea lol. Click m1 for mori, click m2 for mercy.
This existed in BHVR's failed game Deathgarden, in the middle of the match, if the "survivor" (called Runner) was on "death hook", you could Mercy them, which would show an animation similar to another "hook" state. The game would resume and the "survivor" would be in another section of the map still playing the game.
The Mercy would grant the Killer (called Hunter) a massive amount of points.
...I miss that game.
