the reason you see more salt than gg is because the majority of the survivors who die...aren't going to wait 8 minutes for the game to end just to say the letter g twice in succession. They've already had their peace and moved on
You already have to wait 6 minutes to get a lobby in the evenings, no ones going to wait UNLESS they want to be toxic.
-
If everyone's together that means you can pressure all 4 survivors by being on that gen.
4 survivors on different gens are astronomically more efficient than all 4 survivors on one gen.
the difference between 3 survivors on a gen and 4 survivors on a gen is LESS than 2 seconds, they may as well have never joined at all.
Why does everyone forget about Discordance? it's literally amazing especially after the first survivor is gone.
-
Save the Best for Last.
-
Without any context im assuming the situation is that there's still gens on the table, in which case I am going to work on the gens as I have Kindred and can see whether or not the killer leaves the basement.
-
As a Bond user, I've seen some sh*t. your teammates are never as cute and innocent as you think they are.
-
You cant do a gate with Deep Wounds, you will literally go down.
-
Quentin Smith.
-
Pallet Vacuum of course.
-
the old tint felt cold and unearthly, like you were in a place you didnt belong. While the design is improved, it looks like we're walking into ordinary woodsy locations
-
the gens are tinkered to the point where its impossible to hear a killer once all the pistons are running.
-
I think thematically he is not any more interesting than anyone else in the roster that has chase potential.
Who chooses to want to be a fat, ugly clown over...well anything really? the 2 people you see bi-monthly.
-
My first impression of the game was during Summer 2017, when the game was dealing with massive issues. I was forcefully disconnected from every match mid-way through.
So basically have a near heart-attack and then follow that up with the rage of not even getting to get through the game
I uninstalled until I repurchased it on Halloween the same year. Loved it ever since.

75 survivor, 25 killer.
I'm not here to make any killer mad, but if a survivor bit more than they can chew of my tolerance for their bullsh*t, they have to go.
I max out every killer with all perks and max prestige, but i only prestige and get every perk on the survivors i feel like id actually want to play (or listen to...poor Jeff.)
My survivor teammates piss me significantly off more than the killers I face. A killer creates an issue, then the survivors compound that issue with either their incompetence, their fear or by literally sabotaging everyone else so they can be the last one standing
I'll buy any cosmetic that'll make a survivor sexier, or a killer hotter/scarier. RIP Pyramid Head's ass, now I have no reason to buy that torn up apron Linked Cosmetic.

People are really debating you and they really look like clowns.

Do we know for sure though? 27% out of all survivors that do or don't have the perk available to them?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2200045#Comment_2200045
Not all the time, but in certain situations, such as during end game and they're unhooked, it really is a free escape. Either you force the DS or they crawl out and escape.
So...the killer failed to kill the survivor until Endgame, the survivor ran the entirety of the game with only 3 perks and the killer let that survivor get unhooked. where's the free part? regardless, people died more than they lived with the perk on so...No. it's not a free escape, never was, never will be.
-
Killers: It's free escapes!
Escape Rate: 49%...
-
They gave us everything we needed and then took it away 😞
-
Meg and Nea do not get access to the hatch.
-
I have noticed it was longer but as a person playing another game at the same time (because im not going to twiddle my thumbs with the survivor queue times), I didnt think about it too much.
Considering I just purchased a recently released PCIE 4.0 SSD, im assuming something is making console load times long (or everyone's in general).
-
Being on the floor for four minutes is so tiresome.
-
People will be in chase, run directly to a hook then loop by the hook and be mad at the killer when the hooked survivor dies.
Same thing goes with gen strats too, people will die in the strat instead of running away from it then be in the Post-Game chat frustrated over something they caused.
-
Im stealing Jeff and Pyramid Head and aint nobody stopping me.
-
If people can think Trickster (on release, mind you) was OP, they'll think anyone is OP.
-
my rank one teammates are as bad as my rank 16 teammates, one tries to screw everyone over, the other accidentally screws everyone over. the job is done all the same.
-
The saddest part is there is NO negative to improving optimization. getting the older gen consoles closer to 60 means that PC players with higher frame rate monitors get to enjoy an even smoother experience.
Microstutters are the worst.
-
Hatch escape?
no.
The Hatch escaped.
-
Toxic? not when it comes to saves. Yet if after the second blind you can tell that the killer may not be wary of what's happening or the game mechanics and you continue to blind them? that's a little bully-esque of you.
-
there was more depth to the PTB theme, the newer one is just grungy metal overpowering the entirety of the theme
-
Yeah if the survivor is reeling from having vomit on them and you can literally see the vomit fall on them but it just doesnt actually proc the infection, thats an issue specifically with Plague and most definitely needs a fix
-
Totem>Chest>Available Gen - in that order, applies only when no survivor has been caught yet.
I wont actively search out a chest, but if no one is caught yet and I see an unsearched chest I will go for it before I hop on the gen.
The moment someone gets injured the Available Gen becomes top priority to create some type of pressure, unless Hex's are involved in which I'll still attempt to search for totems.

That wouldn't be the same thing, though. Autodidact is an absolutely terrible perk that's very likely to hinder more than help. If you get four skillchecks, for example, you've gotten a total of -10%.
To put it simply, it's the reverse of this:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2185335#Comment_2185335
It's not 'amazing unless you get bad RNG', it's awful unless you get good RNG.
It's a really fun and really bad perk. In terms of effectiveness, I think We'll Make It is about as powerful as full-stack Autodidact. Botany probably beats the perk overall.
What Autodidact could use is the guarantee of a token per heal, so I'd suggest: 'When healing a survivor without a medkit for three seconds, press the active ability button to set skill check chance to 100% for one second. 30 second cooldown.'
this is literally it, the perk has more of a chance to hinder you than it does to help you.
it's not just about you healing slower, every moment you are healing that survivor, that is half the team not creating any progress. every moment is the chance for a killer to use Nurse's Calling and get a free hit.
If the killer is creating good pressure, you may not even get the opportunity for Auto-Didact to start helping you in the match, you still have to get to the injured survivor in the first place, get those stacks while avoiding the killer and getting back on the gens after.
If you get tunneled or are caught first, you may as well have never brought the perk in the first place, because now that you're on defense you have no time to heal others (with an increased duration, mind you) unless you're in a group.
-
If you increase FOV sliders for killer, what stealth compensation are you going to give a survivor. Survivors do NOT need increased FOV, they need something to combat the fact that killers can find them easier.
Do you reduce Scratchmark duration? Do you decrease bleeding frequency? even if you did, it would still be easier to spot a survivor and easier to be blinded. It's not a simple concept.
-
I have never once seen a match where Blood Warden was used and the person escaped via key, but I see no reason as to why it should not block the hatch as well. They would have to add an Entity blocker visual for the hatch since there wasnt such a mechanic before, but it seems worth it to me. Make BW just a tad more scary
-
Between the Mori change, the DS change, and the permanent Obsession change...nah not at all.
-
as a Mouse Wheel Downer, I have not encountered this issue
-
if you care enough that you want to keep your medkit/toolbox, that's the whole reason why Franklin's gets rid of everything in the first place.

you'd instantly regret it after one game.

Probably a scream similar to the wilhelm one (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilhelm_scream) that is pretty famous. Could also be a nod, i mean, they did make a deal with them.
if it's truly generic that really dulls down the whole OG cinematic

Survivors using a fountain should take a considerably increased amount of time, this isn't you gargling mouthwash and spitting it out right away, you're diseased!

People get annoyed that "Hold W" gaming is a big issue against some killers. Tofu and others did experiments against someone like freddy. You can waste no less then 40 seconds. By just holding W and skipping every loop..And that is a bit of a problem IMO. To the point I find myself using blight and wraith more then Freddy lately
So just...teleport in front of them. Like any smart Freddy would've immediately done
-
Demo's Shred forces a lot of pallet drops, if you know that a survivor has to commit to a loop that involves a pallet or is in a narrow corridor, you force a damage state if they dont drop it. If they hesistate, you can get the drop and the hit at the same time, just need to break the pallet afterwards.
-
I feel like the very homogenous color scheme is causing too much strain. Either that or it's truly how bright the map is, I wish it could be toned down a bit.
-
Give Pyramid Head his ass back
-
honestly the attention to detail shows that this isn't entirely accidental.
-
"They didn't make it..." And I walk out the game and don't even think twice about going back for them
-
A mori or bleedout is never satisfying (unless the person in question was a sh*tlord, in which case...glorious!. I would prefer a large amount of hooks without it feeling like i have to cheese the entire match, but sometimes it's the only way. Very much why i have a preference for survivor.

I have only encountered this situation once, but I do know what you are saying. I attempted a lunge at a Meg, while i was mid-lunge, Meg activated Sprint Burst. My attack was somehow thus registered null (despite my weapon literally being inside her) and she ran away. It was more soul-crushing because it was during endgame near the exit gate
