You see, because they thought two of the Legion's add ons where a problem, they decided the best solution was to change mending times (instead of the add ons), and buff BT and nerf Legion at the same time. Because....flawed logic?

And the thing is : nobody even complained about these add-ons, because they were already really weak.

You think DOCTOR is better at dealing with loops than Huntress? Sure you can shock you but unless the survivor is a complete potato it won’t work. Doctor is 110% in treatment mode and he then has to switch to punishment after the shock and he loses any bloodlust he had. Doctor is only good at dealing with loops if he is against green ranks and below. Good survivors are going to keep running the loop.

It will only work if the survivor is at an unsafe pallet or the pallet is dropped and they are vaulting back and forth. Sorry but Huntress can deal with loops much better than Doctor.

I said he is better against buildings, not against loops in general than Huntress.

Lol right man you can keep defending him all you want he's just not nearly as good when compaired directly Huntress. Both killers have there upsides and downsides. Overall Huntress comes out on top its not by a large margin, but it's enough to matter. You seem to think Billy is immune to this situations from the way your putting Huntress down with specific scenarios which Billy would flunk in the same situations if not worse. I've had less problems with highly skilled SWF groups with Huntress than I have had with Billy on PC in console I can't play him at all.

    1 Where I defended Billy ? I don't even like him.

2 I never said that Billy is immune, but the thing is, I didn't heard Billy mains complaining as much about maps and "infinites" as Huntress mains. Seriously, everytime I watch a Huntress main, they only rant about how bad this map is or how unfair this building is. Plus, Billy is truly better at these loops/buldings than Huntress.

Sorry, but for me, Huntress is just a mediocre killer and nothing more. If not for map design, I would consider her a very good killer, but now, I think she's not even top 10.

You can actually throw over more loops than you think. A lot of short loops you can throw over. Huntress has the opportunity to throw over some loops. Billy has no opportunity to use his chainsaw on most pallet loops. Both are limited on most maps though.

Why would you chase that window anyways? Even a 115% MS killer is going to have trouble. Unless you’re Spirit, Hag, or Nurse there is no point of chasing most of the strong structures.

The thing is, 115% speed killers are still able to catch up or have a power to at least hinder or shorten these loops ( like Freddy Snares or Doctor Shock with add-ons ). Huntress simply can't catch up, making her the weakest killer in the game against these loops.

Yeah, she can throw over 20% of the loops in the game, but she can't do that against the other 80% of the loops.

    1) Doesn't one shot you.

    2) Doesn't last forever. Even with add-ons you get at most 30 seconds.

    3) She can't trigger it when right behind you, she has to go out of her way to get it.

So again not the same as infinite EW3. And I'm not complaining about normal EW either. Just infinite. Because unlimited one shots is dumb.

Defending it while shaming Prayer Beads is the epitome or hypocrisy.

1 Plague's Corrupt Purge lasts for 1 minute base kit.

2 You are also unlimited exposed against Plague unless you cleanse, so is she stupid because of that ?

Good job calling people out for hipocrisy when you are the one acting like that and also spreading misinformation.

Because those same crippling map design affect Billy. Huntress unlike Billy wont be turned straight into a M1 killer though even if the survivors know what they are doing. Being a 115 can carry a bad killer, but regardless a 110 can do the same thing if they can play properly.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/861040#Comment_861040

I respect Umbra way more then Scott Jund. His skills are good, but his mentality is a joke anymore.

Also I dont rank Billy in top 5 anymore he was replaced by the GF who know how to stalk and be stealthy. Billy is only good against mediocre survivors and when your out in the open. Least Huntress had better potential overall. Billy has some curving that is easy enough to juke along with snowball potential due to his instadown and map pressure.

Actually, she can be turned into a M1 killer more easily then Billy. She did a wrong prediction at a loop with high wall ? Too bad, get looped 3 more times. The God window from Groaning Storehouse main building is open ? RIP Huntress.

I would but I don't see any enjoyment playing killers that can give me free wins all the time.

It was never meant to be an insult, but by you feeling offended, I'm assuming you are also one of those potatoes nurse players. If other players are capable of getting 3k or more each game using the nurse, what do you think I would say against those who are getting 1k with the new nurse each game?

She never gave you free wins unless you were using her old busted add-ons.

Much of Myers skill comes down to knowing how to approach your target. If you're just starting the match and hear a survivor working on a gen, its often good to take the time to stalk from a direction they're less likely to suspect. Instead of coming at them directly from the middle of the map, move around them and stalk them from the outer wall, or maybe from a 2nd story window in the main building.

As far as Myers movement AFTER stalking, you can actualy get abit of an edge with Myers that you couldnt do with other killers due to his increased vault speeds, and super lunge in EW3. A survivor trying to loop you around ironworks isnt gonna get much distance with that window against a EW3 Myers. A spot where you would NORMALLY take a detour through a nearby door, might be faster to use the window with Myers.

Still, these things don't require really that much skill and assuming that all the Myers who lost with this add-on did so because they were either bad or they played against a 4 man coordinated SWF team is a really bad assumption. In my experience, solo survivors don't really have that much trouble against Infinite EW3 Myers and I agree that double stalk speed add-ons are better against good survivors.

I think @thesuicidefox 's issue is that its on a team lvl instead of an individual one. Against other killers, you as an individual can counter their powers. Against Myers, If one of your teammates doesnt counter it, you could be the one paying for it.

Except that you can still counter a EW3 in a 1v1. It's not easy, but it shouldn't be IMO.

  • Very weak in my opinion. In my experience, survivors never get full stacks on Autodidact before the game is over.

  • Spirit is a ghost and you can't kill a ghost. So she probably would win.

So do you enjoy free wins against weak killers? Do you enjoy free wins against m1 killers on god loops and windows? Why don't you suicide if you're against these killers or refusing to use these loops in order to give them a chance to win?

And you said you win too easily as nurse, right? Why don't use add-ons that reduces the blink range and lunge to give survivors "more chance"? And don't bring any perks because "nurse is op"

LOL I saw survivors suiciding on hooks against Nurses who were using these BP add-ons. The funny thing is, if they wouldn't done that, they would very probably won.

Infinite Myers is far from the most annoying thing killers have. Iri hatchets, one shot down clown bottles, heck even Myers himself has something stronger/stupider with scratch mirror builds.

I really don't see Pinky Finger Clown or Scratch Mirror Myers being annoying. Usually Clowns start to play like Leatherface with that add-on and try to throw bottles when they are right behind a survivor and that makes them even more loopable, because Clown's bottles are even harder to land than Huntresses hatchets, while Scratched Mirror Myers is only useable in 3 maps. Even Iri Head Huntress is not that bad if you get one of the plethora of bad maps she has.

Rank 1. Been rank 1 for 2 years. Killer and survivor. I don't play Myers much if at all, but I've use this add-on. It is NOT hard to get. The only time it is hard to get is against a 4 man SWF, but literally everything is hard against them. Even the most OP builds like old omega blink Nurse would be hard against that. Getting EW3 using Tuft of Hair is easy, I see it happen all the time against good survivors.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/860981#Comment_860981

Could literally say the same thing about Prayer Beads. They are actually very easy to counter, just don't be stupid and blindly do a gen without being somewhat aware of her position on the map. And Spine Chill completely shuts down this add-on.

I'm willing to bet those Myers you faced weren't that good. We have some really good Myers players on Xbox because for some reason a lot of players love him. Again, you are only going to get 3 gens done before he gets infinite EW3 if you are in a 4 man SWF. If you are not, then chances are high he will get it sooner, and if he gets it sooner you are done.

I just love how people shame Prayer Beads but in the same breathe defend infinite one shots then justify it as being "hard at high ranks" which is literally true of anything especially if you are against an SWF. Like really people?

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/860978#Comment_860978

Again Spine Chill. And no, it's not JUST for Prayer Beads, this is a meta-but-no-one-will-admit-that-perk that is useful against EVERY killer in EVERY game. I honestly can't even think of an instance where you won't find use from it.

Also again... just have some map awareness. If you know she has Prayer Beads and you are on a gen, either be sure she is chasing someone else or tap the gen. Or just be ready to let go the instant you see her. You CAN hear footsteps, so if you pay attention she shouldn't ever be able to grab you. It is as much your fault as Myers or GF, albeit harder to beat.

I don't DC against any killer. The only times I've DC'd are against infinite tombstone, and only then because the Myers would outright refuse to kill me, so I just sit in a locker and we stare at each other for 20 minutes. It actually has nothing to do with the build and everything to do with the killer dragging out the game for a stupid achievement.

LMAO I saw plenty of solo survivors escaping agaisnt Infinite EW3 Myers. Solo survivors can do gens as fast as SWF teams, I saw plenty of solo survivors gen rushing the killer in 4-5 minutes.

"I bet these Myers you faced weren't that good". Myers even doesn't take that much skill LOL. To be a good Myers, you literally only need to know the standard killer mind games. That's all. He is not Huntress or Nurse or even Billy or Spirit in terms of skill. Survivors just need to break line of sight to deny his stalk as much as possible, while gens are popping and when he gets to EW3, just loop him and make only safe unhooks. They won everytime when they did that against him in my experience.

You are just entitled. If your team is bad, you can just as well lose to an add-onless Cannibal, so nerfing this add-on as reason for your team being incompetent is a really lame one.

Like the same exact thing won’t happen to Billy. His instadown doesn’t mean squat if he is getting his ankles broken in every tile.

If a survivor is running a good window (Asylum, Grim Pantry, Torment Creek) you should chase anyways ESPECIALLY with Huntress.

You really underestimate Huntress. Some maps cuck her but it’s still doable. She can be a hassle but she’s easily the most rewarding killer.

Listen, I'm not saying that the other killers don't get hurt by map design. But at least the other killers can catch up to the survivors eventually or maybe even use their powers to counter these loops. Huntress simply can't do that. She just CAN'T. No matter your skill, you are just a toy if survivors just abuse these God loops. Abandoning chases won't do anything if survivors are aware of them and keep abusing them everytime you chase them. Even a Huntress main with 2000 hours on her can easily be made into a powerless 110% speed killer on indoor maps, Coldwind Farm maps, Family Residence, Mount Ormond, etc. She is useless outside of her hatchets, so if you make them useless, you pretty much won against her.

Rewarding ? IMAO, she's not. Like, at all. I and even the Huntress mains always said : she doesn't reward you as much as she should for the skill you put in her. Old Nurse without add-ons was a rewarding killer, Huntress is a high risk - pretty low reward killer. Even Scott and Umbra consider her a stresfull and frustrating killer to play, they barely feel any rewarded after 2000 hours put into her.

Sorry, but the reality is, Huntress is just a slow killer, without mobility, with an outdated ability that gets hindered massively by map design. If she's a top 5 killer material for you, then our standards must be at a really low point.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/859392#Comment_859392

Not really. People over exaggerate how hard it is to get EW3 with this add-on. It's not that hard. Especially considering all it takes is 1 survivor to mess up and feed him and that's it. And since you have 0 control over the intelligence and skill of other survivors, you get punished for someone else's mistake. It's dumb.

This add-on does indeed need a rework. It's just lame. Prayer Beads are lame but if you play SWF, use Spine Chill, or are just extra cautious you can beat it. Doesn't matter what other survivors do either, it's 100% in your control. I'd rather play against current Prayer Bead Spirit than Infinite EW3 Myers any day.

An add-on doesn't need a rework or nerf just because survivors are too dumb to counter it. Almost everytime when I saw a Myers playing in red or even purple ranks with Fragrant Tuft of Hair and J Myers Memorial, at least 3 gens still got done before he went into EW3. Not to mention, he is loopable in EW3, so you can still counter it even if your teammates mess up.

I find more use out of Huntress on her bad maps then I do on Billy's bad maps. It's not like either of these killers can't play on bad maps. Just I find more use out of Huntress on those types of situations then I do Billy.

How ? She's a 110% speed killer which won't hit any hatchets if survivors know how to run tiles and gets looped for 2 minutes + if survivors find a building with a God window. I find her very useless in certain maps and she's not worth playing when other killers are easier and not as crippled by map design than her.

  • Just use Spine Chill untill Prayer Beads nerf hits live.

  • @Liruliniel said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/859998#Comment_859998

The reason Nurses is good on GF is solely because it makes him more versatile not more viable. Sadly you dont need the rest of the Talentless Build for him to be good. A good player wouldn't need it anyways.

The reason Spirit and Nurse dont use this build is simply because its a gimmick build worthy of Monto. I would say in terms of stealth Killers I would say Ghostface, Pig, Wraith. I dont see Myers as a stealth killer. Even then I think Myers is worse then both Ghostface and Pig.

I still think Huntress is stronger than Billy. Huntress has some bad Maps like Billy, but she can still use her kit even in those maps. Huntress maybe a 110, but at least she can do melee hatchets to be a near instantaneous Killer.

Billy on some maps has little to no use for his Ability. At that point Leatherface would be better. I compare Huntress and Hag a lot and depending on the day I view one stronger then the other.

At this point in DBD though my idea of a tier list has changed tho. I believe a tier list is based on viable killers who have the ability to excel, but I've seen some people who use low tier killers excel against some of the same SWF that a high tier killer had trouble against. I'm starting to personally believe that fun and enjoyment factors into the skill.

In anything competitive I have played with RNG elements. I have noticed that usually the person who has high end or upper tier stuff usually has a easier time from the start, but the person who fine tunes and gets skilled with a weaker part usually wins overall because they enjoyed it more.

Funny that you say that Billy has little to no use on his ability on some maps, when Huntress is arguably the worst killer in the game in certain maps.

  • Huntress. Bad map design and Dedicated Servers make her a living meme. People keep putting her in top 5 for some reason, but I doubt that she is even in top 10 anymore. It's very frustrating to play her most of the time.

  • Infinite Evil Within 3 has a huge downside on it, while Prayer Beads and Yakuyoke Amulet didn't have any, both being better than Fragrant Tuft of Hair.

  • A+ : Spirit, Hillbilly, PTB Oni (?)

    A- : Nurse, Hag

B : Plague, Freddy, Ghost Face

C : PTB Legion (?), Demogorgon, Huntress, Shape

    D : Pig, Doctor

    E : Wraith, Trapper, Cannibal

    F : current Legion, Clown.

  • Furtive Chase is a very bad perk even without being outclassed by Nemesis.

  • "And that makes EW3 a little spammable". No it doesn't, your stalk isn't unlimited, so you can only acces EW3 a few times in a match. I don't see this combo being too strong and worth of a nerf. It might become a decent synergy, but far away from overpowered.

  • His early game is already really weak, you don't need to nerf it more.

  • They need to rework Legion as whole, otherwise, he will always cause new problems in the future.

  • @Raven014 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/853801#Comment_853801

That's almost as bad as Iri Hatchets, yet people don't complain about that...

People don't complain about that because Clown still needs to M1 to get the instant down, while Huntresses instant down is a range, also, bottles hits are harder to hit than hatchets hits.

  • For my favorite killers :

Mother Daughter Ring + Bloody Hair Brooch ( but because the charge time add-ons are getting nerfed, Dirty Uwabaki might be better now in this combo ).

Black Incense + Apple and Vile Emetic + Incensed Ointment on Plague.

  • 1 Dead Heard

    2 Adrenaline

    3 Lithe

    4 Sprint Burst

    5 Head On

    6 Balanced Landing.

  • Most of the people were fine with the Spirit's nerfs when they got announced, because they didn't butcher her like the Legion's or to some extent Nurse's changes. And they didn't really nerf her too much. What they did to Nurse was worse IMO.

  • Yes, she is and she also has Infectious Fright, which is a very good perk on many killers.

  • Not a exploit, but Nemesis pretty much brings back old Legion and after how much hate old Legion received, I doubt that devs will let this synergy work as it does now.

  • @Venom368 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/851526#Comment_851526

Gotcha. Yes it absolutely restricts her power, that is indeed what they were trying to do. That should theoretically allow survivors to make more mistakes than they could against the previous iteration of the nurse. I think the issue was, even if the survivor was the more experienced player and played perfectly, they would still lose to a good nurse.

Please tell me in what way does the nurse carry killers to rank 1???

You already agreed with me that she is still the strongest killer in the game after multiple nerfs, how are you denying her ability to carry people to rank 1? I was speaking from personal experience with the rank 1 comment. I've only ever gotten to rank 1 killer back in the days where I pretty much only played nurse.

For the 'counterplay' perks you mentioned, none of them really counter the nurse more than they do any other killer.

If you were actually looking at this from either a competitive or logical point of view, you would understand that after the strongest killer in the game receives a nerf, and still remains the strongest killer in the game, that they were certainly overpowered before the nerf.

Aside from anything related to the Nurse, DbD just isn't built to be a highly competitive game. The core fundamentals of the game, especially the asymmetrical aspect of it, make it impossible to ever become an 'e-sports-esque' type of game. That's an entirely different conversation topic though.

Who was carried by Nurse to rank 1 ? Before the nerfs, I saw Nurses mostly in red ranks, in green and purple ranks killers barely played Nurse and when they did, they got rekted. So I don't see who was carried by Nurse to red ranks.

  • If you don't run slow down perks, you are gonna get gen rushed even if you end chases fast with the exploit.

  • @SteelDragon said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/850287#Comment_850287

bloody echo will only be useful on the plague for the 45 second exhaustion, since the extra bleeding doesn't matter except for Oni or spirit using the addon where she can see blood

That I was thinking, I don't care about the Hemorrhage part, especially on Plague, which already has very good tracking by default.

  • Also, Lucky Break + Iron Will + Spine Chill + Resilience + Toolbox seems like a really decent stealth and gen rush build.

  • Bloody Echo might be interesting on Plague. And because survivors usually don't cleanse, they are usually broken and if they try to body block you when they are broken, then they are going to get rekt. So Plague soft counter Breakout LOL.

  • Myers x Huntress

    Dwight x Jane

    Bill x Ash

Meg x Nea seems like a solid ship tho.

Love triangle between Billy, Spirit and Hag.

  • @Omans said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/847474#Comment_847474

This is exactly what is happening. If nurse had never been added to the game and the next killer announced was this version of the nurse all the players complaining right now would be happy that they "finally have another viable killer in red ranks". It's so absurd that it is funny.

I doubt it. People would call her OP in the first 2 days, but then they would just call Nurse another add-on and map reliant killer. Because that she is now.

  • So you need a yellow and green add-on to not get countered by survivors who run in a straight line. Seems right ...

  • Ruin, it's very easy to play around Corrupt Intervention. Especially on killers without good tracking, like Spirit, they will just hide the entire duration of Corrupt and you will be forced to bring Whispers to make any use put of it. So Ruin is much better on her.

  • Clown is ignored from when he was released.

Pig and Legion were mainly forgotten after their nerfs.

Huntresses and Demo's perks all need major buffs.

  • They probably DCed, that's why you don't see any 😁.

I don't recall him having that belief? What I have heard him say was something along the lines of "If Ghostface gets nerfed under the logic of being too strong, this game is probably gonna die."

No, he said that he is 100% sure that Ghost Face is getting nerfed after Spirit. I don't remember on what videos/lives did he say that, but I remember him saying it twice, not once.

  • 1 Disturbed Ward

    2 Ironworks of Misery/Rancid Abbatoir

    3 Grim Pantry/Torment Creek.

I don't even include Haddonfield here because that map is garbage by itself.

  • Tru3 thinks that Ghost Face is gonna get nerfed because he considers him a "top 3" killer, but I really don't see why would you nerf an add-on and map reliant killer who gets countered by survivors awareness.
