  • Iri Head has a huge downside tho, it removes 4 hatchets from your kit and it leaves you with no other choice than running the Infantry Belt with it.

Mori have no downside, so I agree, they should be nerfed.

  • Bubba and too strong don't belong in the same galaxy LOL.

Also, they should remove the buff the obsession gets from Dying Light, there is literally zero reason for this perk to make the obsession a literally "God".

  • I completely agree, Surveillance is better, Disocordance is pretty overrated IMO.

I'm not sure what you think the vid proves. There's a vid floating around where Tru3 plays as nurse I believe at release and COMPLETELY owns the dev team who were playing survivor.

Based off your standards it shows 'how unbalanced the game was'.

Also you're mischaracterising my argument COMPLETELY. I never said nerfs can't or shouldn't have happen.

My main point is that survivor has been nerfed more relative to killer (which it has), that killer is easier now than it was at release (which it is) and that the trajectory of the game has absolutely been decisions in the killers favour. I guess that's why your mischaracterising my argument and talking about 'reflection' because I'm just seeing projection here.

I don't mind to call people out, who live in a bubble because their arguments fall apart when they have to engage with reality. Much like what's happening right now.

I'm not splitting the community, but people post 'poor killer, what are you going to do for killer' posts, so I just point out who killer isn't exactly 'poor' and people don't like that.

1 At release, Nurse had 3 blinks base kit and she was faster than survivors even without blinks.

2 Dev teams aren't "God" tier players.

  • Actually, base kit Wraith needs buffs, because he is currently too weak without green+ add-ons.

  • My bet is on Billy, Ghost Face and/or Doctor. Iri Head Huntress and Black Incense Plague will also probably be gone soon.

  • @FriendlyGuy said:

Billy is not as good as you think. Spirit or a few thousand hours on nurse.

He compared Billy with Legion, not with these 2.

I mean from a standstill position like billy does his curve which actually takes a bit of skill sure, but holding W while sprinting at 300% speed zipping around corners one shotting people CAAAMAAAAN

Oni's Dash speed is not even 200% dude. He needs his best speed add-ons for his Dash speed to be on par with Billy's chainsaw speed.

  • Freddy's add-ons should get reworked tho. Most of them are really bad, including his ropes and chains add-ons.

He literally needs 0 add-ons. He is the easiest killer to consistently get a Merciless Victory with at rank 1 killer on PC. I used him with out any add-ons to grind out the rank 1 killer achievement over this last month and stopped using slow down add-ons just because of how unnecessary they were. They just make the game less fun for survivors.

That's why I said reworking them into something else other than slow down add-ons, but rn they are useless. Just because he is not necessarily add-on reliant, doesn't mean that all of them need to be bad. Haemorrhage as an purple add-on is literally an insult.

  • They really need to rework these add-ons into something else, they legit do nothing now. Actually, most of the Freddy's add-ons should be reworked, 80% of them are really bad.

  • She's not weak, but she's unfun to play as and very punishing. Tho I still would say that she's top 3, but Dedicated Servers and certain maps mess with her really hard.

  • @OGlilSPOOK20 said:

My question is does it stack with other Break Out users?

Like if two of us are using the perk and we're both next to the killer carrying the survivor. Does it stack and increase the survivors wiggle by 50%?

    It doesn't stack.

  • Except that the stats showed us that the killers with the highest pick rates are Spirit, Billy and Freddy. None of them really has a high skill cap, their powers aren't hard to use after getting used to them and average players can still do good with them. So it doesn't look like players really like high skill based killers, especially because they can be very frustrating to play as an average player.

I also don't like killers like Nurse, who feels sluggish to play as or Huntress, who gets rekt by map design so hard, that her skill cap becomes irelevant. I gladly would play Plague over these 2 anytime.

  • @arslaN said:

Playing as him is really fun, probably the most fun I've ever had with any killer but I don't understand why they thought designing a killer with insane slugging potential was a good idea. Nobody enjoys getting constantly getting slugged.

That's why they make him not lose charges on his power if picking up a survivor anymore and make him lose these charges when downing, so his slugging potential is greatly reduced, giving him incentivizes to hook people instead.

๐Ÿคฏ WWWWHAT?? I haven't played Michael since I returned, what a horrible decision! EW1 Michael builds were already weak and situational enough!

Now they go and remove the only unique benefit of playing Michael? That ######### sucks... I mean there is no way that ######### was over preforming and I don't remember a single thread asking for it to be nerfed since I was last here, why would they even do that? Literally no point moving at 110% just to see through walls when survivors will basically know to run when spine chill triggers... I'm fairly disgusted with that

Myers speed is actually 105% when in EW1 ๐Ÿ™ƒ.

  • @Dr_doom_j2 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/902779#Comment_902779

Well said. I think I missed the undetectable changes that affected Myers, would you mind explaining that?

They added Undetectable on EW1 Myers, which makes him vulnerable against detection perks like Spine Chill or Premonition. Yes, he is less reliant on Monitor and Abuse, but now his EW1 gets hurt by perks he used to counter before this change. So EW1 is really weak against survivors who either listen for his breathing, either run Spine Chill, and they can keep him there for a pretty long time.

  • Oni is a Billy on cooldown. We complain about a Billy on cooldown here guys.

Yes, his ability is arguably better than Billy's chainsaw, but the thing is, it should be, because he actually has a limited power, while Billy doesn't. If you make Demon Dash weaker than Billy's chainsaw, then you just made Oni worthless.

I saw a lot of Onis destroying and getting destroyed by survivors, so I don't see him overperforming at all. His early game is very weak and I don't know why people complain about "not being able to avoid getting hit", you definitely can avoid being hit for a good amount of time with the current map design, not forever, but enough for gens to start popping. After all, a bad early game can be enough for a killer to lose the match.

Oni's power only last for 45 seconds and he loses 7 seconds of it everytime he downs a survivor, so that means that against survivors spreading out and able to avoid getting down quickly by dropping pallets earlier or make him hit his lunge by some debris, he won't get more than 1 down with his Blood Fury. He needs add-ons for his ability to actually have a very good snowball potential. Also, his Dash speed is slower than Billy's chainsaw speed and he needs a purple and a green add-on for his Dash speed to be on par with Billy's chainsaw.

Yes, Oni is a better Myers, but I don't see it as Oni being too strong, I see it as Myers being too weak. After all, Myers is an outdated killer who got hit hard by the Undetectable changes. He definitely needs some buffs ( not as much as other killers tho ).

This was my rant. But I personally don't care about Oni, so you can nerf him into the ground and I couldn't care less.

All of the perks you mentioned can be outplayed by the killer. Decisive Strike, either you miss it or the killer waits for the time to run out. Borrowed time, if a killer is camping you have to sacrifice yourself to give someone borrowed time. Adrenaline, you must make it to the last gen, if you're on the killers shoulder they can drop you and hit you and you're dead. There are negatives, people are just afraid to mention them.

You missing DS has nothing to do with killer outplaying you. These are not even real negatives are nowhere near as impactful as NOED's negatives.

  • You can't seriously think Legion is fine after playing just 1 match with him. I suggest you to play more with Legion and then come to a conclussion about his viability.

  • Why it is a perk at all is the real question.

  • Her whole design is to not give feedback to survivors. Devs don't seem willing to change that aspect and they are probably done with Spirit at the moment.

Also, Iron Will trumping Stridor would make Stridor entirely pointless. The only purpose of Stridor is to counter Iron Will, take that away and you nerfed to the ground an already weak perk.

  • Spirit at all 3 questions.

  • What did you played agaisnt them ? Iri Head + Infantry Belt Huntress ?

And what they bought agaisnt you ? Keys and Commodious Toolboxes ?

  • NOED : It's a Hex totem. Like, I doubt there is a biggest disadvantage for a perk than being a Hex totem. Also, DS, BT, Adrenaline and exhaustion perks have literally zero negatives on them and just benefits all around. So your point is flawed.

Since DW is no longer TR based, survivors who aren't mending or running will have their timer deplete.

That means Deep Wounded survivors who attempt to do generators, heal, open the Exit Gates, and so on will have their Deep Wound timer deplete. ๐Ÿ˜

The timer from Deep Wounds is longer than opening a exit gate. You can literally open a exit gate while you have Deep Wounds and you won't go down from it, unless the timer was already at half when you started to open the exit gate. So yeah, Deep Wounds is even more useless now.

"lvl 1 Nurse for dailies" LOL stop assuming things. You know what happens when you assume things right?

Dude I have an entire account dedicated to playing just Nurse and Huntress. I got to rank 5 JUST playing Nurse this season, and I honestly wasn't even trying for rank I was playing for BP on that account. I don't just play her once a month. I play her quite a lot. She is not weak on console, just really hard to play and requires a lot of practice and dedication to use properly. Again if you could play against any of the red rank Nurse mains you'd see she is definitely not at all weak. They are some of the deadliest killers at red ranks, consistently.

And on both my main and my alt she is level 50 with most perks. I don't prestige my killers unless I like their bloody skins, and for Nurse I play with cosmetics anyway so tell me why it's important she is prestiged?? Has NOTHING to do with skill or time played.

She is still the strongest killer in the game. Period. Just because her kill rate dipped doesn't mean she is bad. More than likely it means a lot of Nurse "mains" that played nothing but omega blink/multi-blink found out how bad they actually were without that super OP stuff. But players that were actually good Nurse players still dominate with her, even on console.

As the devs have said NUMEROUS times at this point... the stats are not everything. Just because her kill rate dropped doesn't mean she's suddenly a bad killer. Her potential to win is still insanely high, how you can ignore this is beyond me honestly. Just the sheer FACT she can teleport at will puts her far and above most killers in the game.

Really the entire fact you think she is weak on console proves how little you know about the situation. She is not weak. She is hard to play. Those players that dedicated the time to playing her are some of the best killers on the platform. The reason she's "a joke" on console is because majority of players don't put in that time to get good with her because she is so hard to play. Therefore, when you encounter a Nurse they are going to be really bad because they barely play her. Same with Huntress. This artificially drops her kill rate.

Get off your high horse please.

Except that even Legacy Nurse mains who never used more than 2 blinks and almost never used range add-ons ( or any add-ons for that matter ) say that the base kit nerf was unnecessary and that Nurse isn't the strongest killer anymore. So stop with the argument that only the Nurses who relied on her broken add-ons complain about her nerfs, like, I literally never saw someone complaining that Omega Blink is gone.

  • @Venom368 said:

The reason you don't see Nurse as much anymore is because of how high her skill-floor has become. At the highest level, Nurse is the only killer that can still 4k with no perks or add-ons if the killer makes no mistakes throughout the game.

Nurse will be the strongest killer in the game until she either gets deleted or reworked to have an ability that isn't 'blink'. A nurse that doesn't miss blinks does not have a counter. Juke all you want, but a nurse with 1k+ hours is going to predict you correctly every. single. time.

Even Nurses with 1k hours can be juked. Sorry to tell you, but they are not Nostradamus, they won't predict every survivor move. Also, a Nurse without perks or add-ons will get destroyed by a good survivor team, no matter how good she is. Nurse kinda lacks mobility and map pressure without add-ons, so you can just gen rush and she can't do anything about it, especially if she gets a big map like Rotten Fields or Red Forest.

The best awareness can not beat Spine Chill, sorry ;-). Ghostface, Wraith, Myers, Pig are a joke if you use that perk. And you still have a big opportunity vs every other killer, and strong perks like Monitor aswell.

Its also the only perk beside Iron Will that will help you vs Spirit and Nurse.

I like getting chased, and i would use SC over DH any day, even if it had no other benefit than the notification. I can not count how often Killers mindgame themself simply because Spinechill tells me all the time, what they are actually doing during chase ;)

Still far away from the best survivor perk.

Wraith, Pig and Myers are already mind of a joke even without Spine Chill. Ghost Face is also not that strong.

Dance With Me, Quiet and Quiet, Fixated and Lucky Break can also help against Nurse and Spirit. And I don't need Spine Chill even against them.

I would take something like DS, BT, exhaustion perks, Adrenaline, Inner Stenght, etc over Spine Chill 100% of the time.

Play against anti-heal stealth and say that again.

I can agree on everything except SB. SB one tier down and it's fine.

I have no problems going against stealth killers with anti healing perks without Spine Chill, I just rush gens while injured. Pretty much all of the stealth killers have either loud breath or loud footsteps, so they hardly catch me off guard. So yeah, Spine Chill is overrated.

  • @xEa said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/894776#Comment_894776

    Why do you think that?

I think it is hands down the best perk in Dead by Daylight, not only on Survivor side. How can you top 100% awareness all the time even vs stealthy killers? Its great vs Spirit, Nurse too. Or that it helps you greatly while looping? Or the extra 6% on vaulting, healing, repairing etc? If you can handle this perk well, you even know when the killer is doing mindgames. Heck, even the ment "downside" with the 10% higher Skillcheck chance is a big plus.

Because you don't need if you simply have awareness. The 6% vault speed isn't much unless you pair with Resilience. While K think it's a decent perk, I highly disagree with it being the best perk in the game.

  • Spine Chill is way too high.

  • Nemesis, Enduring, Ruin, Infectious Fright with Joudith's Journal and Dead Rabbit.

  • You could as well just run the usual meta perks for a M1 killer : Ruin, Pop, Sloppy, Enduring, Spirit Fury and/or BBQ.

  • Nobody complains about Nurse being too OP anymore, so I guess devs will do nothing.

  • In my experience, even when he is able to get multiple chain hits, survivors are still able to easily win against him. Like, it's not even a challenge.

  • Yakuyoke Amulet + Mother Daughter Ring seems to be a really strong combo, you get easily phase around half the map at least with this combo. So if you want to use the Amulet, use it with MD Ring.

  • Jump in locker to get to use your DS against an Ebony Mori killer.

  • It seems like devs started to hate killers with stall mechanics. I expect Forever Freddy to be gutted soon.

  • The curve speed post phase is kinda weird, but nothing you can't adapt.

Most Spirits mains consider the lack of collision a buff from what I discuss with them.

Vault animation is whatever, almost nobody used her lack of vault animation before and it was only good for Shack.

    Prayer Beads : deserved nerf.

    Wakizashi Saya : deserved nerf.

Charge time add-ons : I will miss the old ones.

Yakuyoke Amulet : unless you run it with Mother Daughter Ring or Dirty Uwabaki, not worth it anymore.

TL DR Spirit escaped easy compared to Legion or Nurse.

  • No, because old Freddy at least had real stall. Legion is literally a Wraith without stealth and with a stun and cooldown on his power.

  • @LordEmrich said:

This. @Marcus you're playing against bad Clowns if they let a little pallet loop stop them.

Dude, I literally said that you don't need to pallet loop him, just camp pallets or drop them earlier, while your team gen rush gens, Clown can't do NOTHING against that. You can still loop the safer pallets because the slow down from his gas is really weak, especially without Flask of Bleach.

  • You should add Clown in Legion tier and then I would agree. Clown legit can't do anything if survivors camp pallets and rush gens.

  • Disturbed Ward has the most overpowered building in the game. It really needs to be looked up immediately. After that, maps like Rotten Fields and both Red Forest should be made smaller in size, like what they did to Pale Rose a year ago, because killers without very good mobility get rekt by them very hard. Also, they should fix some God loops like ones from Wretched Shop, Ironworks of Misery and Grim Pantry by adding doorways near windows.

    @Weederick

I tag both of you, i read this thread today.

Your observation is correct (@Mr_K about him starting to run later)

I basicly wanted to see how much this statement " running in a straight line is all you have to do against base nurse" holds true. I even made another video in which i used single blinks, with single blinks you will not catch up to the survivor like at all.

We basicly decided to use whispers to have a marker for 32m, nothing to difficult. I thought okay uhm if this running in a straight line is actually valid counterplay, as soon as you see nurse blinking towards you, you start doing the counter -> running. So on both maps we made several runs, the first on each map is when the survivor starts running as he sees the nurse blinking towards him from 32m which ofc can be more at times.

The 2nd run on each map was with the intention of as soon as you see me move, run not just when i start blinking. The survivor on thompson house did start later as he had trouble watching his back ๐Ÿ˜€ however you can see on 2nd try with ace that he gets much further away.

The thing is there is rarely such a huge deadzone so you will usually have LoS-Breakers at some point. Running away is actually very valid. Why? Because nurse mains have it in their memory to when there is LoS breaker, they blink to the obstacle due to the survivor tryin to bait them into cutting them off. Now you simply run to that adjust the angle and keep running, the nurse will most likely not blink max distance and stop at the corner of whatever it is so she will not be able to catch up as much (cd;fatigue stays the same whether you blink 1m or 20).

Just a straight line is 3x2 blinks, you mentioned execution errors, explain them to me and i can make other runs. When you now exactly when you have to juke it is just way easier to do this like run left and as you see run other direction. Biggest problem i see is there is no real payoff to play nurse, i mean why bother when you can do the same on other killers. Not literally the same but all other killers are not as punishing.

You keep forgetting that there are no exhaustion perks used, no bl, no dh, no sb or lithe with this you will extend the chase again by quite a big amount. Honestly it is way too effective for how braindead easy it is to run in a straight line. This has nothing to do with skill.

I saw a survivor using Balanced Landing against a Nurse without range and cooldown add-ons. That literally needed around 30 seconds to catch up and to get a hit, a single hit. So yeah, exhaustion perks are very strong against her now.

It is when you have to mend yes or yes, how many videos can you find in Youtube with people inside the terror radius doing gens while Legion is chasing someone else nearby?.

Now people will have to mend before doing gens again, if they go back to a generator near Legion he can activate his power, hit them once more and force a mend again.

Sincerely, none, I almost never saw people doing gens with Deep Wounds on them. And with 12 seconds Mend time ( 8 if done by someone else ), you won't even need to, because you now might be able to Mend even mid chase against Legion. So his stall definitely got nerfed.

  • There is nothing about it in patch notes, these informations were updated in game because of a bug. Also, expect your thread to be deleted soon.

  • Because the only purpose of Legion in this game is to buff BT.

Clown's power kills loops, slows exhaustion perks, and is infinitely useable in chase. Legion's power is useless once the survivor is injured.

    ???

If survivors camp the pallet or just drop it earlier, Clown literally has no power.
