Ah, it probably doesn't work on yourself. I assumed you were referring to using the syringe on a teammate.
Yes, I assumed if you were using it on yourself, not on others ( because it's not really worth to do that anymore ).
-
I would still put Billy, Hag and Nurse over Ghost Face and Freddy and Demo over Huntress.
-
Underrated : Plague
Overrated : Huntress ( like how can some people still think she's worth of top 5 with so many bad maps on her side ? ).
Also, I think people overrate Freddy's Snares, not saying that they're bad, but they really don't seem that opressive to me. You can still easily play around them.

Alright then. Don't ever be happy I guess. No matter what BHVR does, they will never be able to please you. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/841934#Comment_841934
There's a lot of bullshit on both sides. Survivors aren't the exception here. Need I remind you that killer too has a plethora of add-ons and moris that are extremely overtuned and just as obnoxious to go against as insta heals were to go against for killers. Went up against a Trapper today with full meta perks, bloody coil and iridescent stone with an ebony mori. Guess how much fun we had?
This expectation to be able to fix all the balance issues in a week or two and on a whim is unrealistic.
By the way, killers can still see survivors through notification bubbles and the auras of generators. It's not like survivors are the only ones with unusual advantages that are not intended.
There's plenty of things I dislike that BHVR does. There's plenty of things I completely disagree with that they've done, like how they nerfed the Nurse, or the existence of a battle pass in the first place, but I am also not going to sit here and believe a fallacy that they don't listen to killer feedback at all and only listen to survivors "whining" when plenty of things that was requested of them from killers in this very forum is in the game now because of said forum.
That is the simple fact. It's not debatable. It's not up to interpretation.
Taking the community's feedback from the forums and giving us a voice is literally what @Peanits job is and I think he's done that job fairly well, considering I frequently do see requests from this forum from both sides make it into the game which often does improve the game's health one way or another and it's the one thing I will praise BHVR for doing right, even if they often miss the mark on many of their changes.
The Trapper's ultra rare add-ons are decent, but in now way overpowered or too strong. The only BS thing he had in his load-out was the Ebony Mori, that should be nerfed, but Trapper should still be buffed as a whole.

Ghostface no longer stalks survivors.
Nobody uses his stalk anyway LOL.

I didn't see many people complaining about that change. Her lack of a vault animation from the survivor's POV was mostly used only for the Shack. So it's not a big nerf.

I don’t agree with most of the criticism he gets though. I’ve gone against plenty of great Clown killers and I also do well as him myself. His ability to stop loops with his tonics is powerful. I honestly don’t get why so many people think he’s a lower tier killer...
Because he has no map pressure and he also has no power if you just drop the pallets earlier. If this doesn't scream "low tier killer" then I don't know what it does.

Am I playing her in the wrong way? I don't place traps close to hooked survivors, I use them against loops, pallets, shack, exit gates, etc.
You play better than most Hags that just camp with traps LOL. But I am not an expert Hag, I just know many of them and from them I know how strong she can be.

I hope so.. i personally want her buffed as her traps are hindered so much when going against flashlights and urban
Urban is worthless if you have good traps placements. Object of Obsession is actually a bigger issue for her than fllashlights.
-
Billy will get an add-on rework soon. That's all he know about him right now.
Freddy might get some changes, especially his slow down add-ons, people tend to complain about these.
I barely see people complaining about Ghost Face and I don't even know what you could nerf on him. Actually, his stalking might need a buff, because people don't use as much anymore, because is more inefficient than just getting free hits with his stealth.
-
@OmegaXII said:
Probably hag.. a lot of people feels that she promotes camping..
Personally i'm fine with current hag, because if you get down near the basement, it's either bad play or bad luck..
I don't Hag will get nerfed. She can be very strong, but barely any people complain about her anymore, despite her "campy style".
-
Yeah, Spirit changes weren't as bad as expected them to be. Better than "96% ms killer with 2 separate cooldowns" and "add-on that turns your power off for 115% ms".
-
Charge time + reappearance speed and duration or charge time + MD Ring were very strong and pretty BS, you could get really easy hits with them.
But I know you will miss the old charge time add-ons Space.
-
Combine it with Dirty Uwabaki or MD Ring, so you get an 8,5 phase duration with the same or higher phase speed. You can use your power in short bursts in chases, so the cooldown is faster and also have very good mobility.
-
Yeah, I can bet that "Forever Freddy" will be gone soon + some "slight changes" to his base kit as well.
-
@laKUKA said:
OMEGABLINK NURSE PLAYERS are complaining!.
Main nurses (with no addons) players are ok with the changes!.
I know a lot of Nurse mains who constantly played her without add-ons. They are not ok with the base kit changes.
-
Charge time + duration/speed is her best combo up to green add-ons.
Yakuyoke Amulet + Bloody Hair Brooch is makes your power stronger in both, mobility and chase.
Wakizashi Saya + Bloody Hair Brooch is bordeline broken IMO.
Mother Daughter + Bloody Hair Brooch is also a incredibly strong combo.
Stay away from Thana + Dying Light on her, that combo is only worth using on Freddy with both slow down add-ons and Plague ( and even on them it isn't that amazing ). Ruin, BBQ, Pop, Surveillance, Thrilling Tremors, A Nurse's Calling, Sloppy Butcher, STBFL ( with charge time add-ons ) are all very good perks on her.

That is just nitpicking. I stated exactly what I thought should be changed, whether you consider that a rework or tweaks is subjective.
It's not. Devs clearly said that there is a difference between tweaks and a rework.

"Some what of a threat" no it makes him complete BS. He is very frustrating to play against because he can do stuff like this.
You should NEVER have to do anything before Mending.
Doc gets free slugs because he can put you into Madness 3 and you can't heal them.
He gets easy hook grabs but just mashing the button.
You constantly rubber band back across vaults from screams or shocks.
None of this is fair or fun to play against. I don't care if it makes him a "threat" it also makes him a serious POS to deal with. The lameness is almost on par with old Legion.
He is getting a rework, I have no doubt. Hopefully they address this stuff AND make his power stronger in the process. He doesn't need to be able to do these things to be a threat.
LMAO They literally confirmed in their last live stream that they aren't gonna rework Doc like they did with Freddy and it will be just an add-on pass and some tweaks to his base kit.

But against lesser survivors, top killers don't need a good build. Lower tier killers do.
Disagree, I saw people winning with no perks no add-ons Clown at red ranks. But against good survivors, you need a decent build on everyone.

Disturbed Ward is part of Asylum along with church. It makes more sense they would rework a map that is by itself, doing something similar they did with Badham.
Mount Ormond is bad but not that bad. Estate is worse. Plus Ormond is technically a more recent map and my guess is they want to work from the older maps and up.
This besides the fact the leaks have 0 to do with either of these maps.
I think Ormond is worse than Family Residence. And I said that these maps should get a big rework too, not that the leaks have something to do with them.

Strong builds are less necessary for the top killers (GF and up). On Plague it's a necessity.
That is not true. Against good survivors, good builds are a necessity for every killer.
-
@thesuicidefox said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/829193#Comment_829193
Kind of? I forget honestly. May be marginally better now, but it still sucks as a map for both sides.
IDK it just makes the most sense. We are due for a map rework, and I really really doubt that any of this has to do with the current Spirit situation (why would they hype up changing a killer when they only just said less than a month ago they are discussing what to do? Not even have solid plans?), or her father being a killer, or any silly stuff like that.
Like the only maps in serious need of a rework are Haddonfield and Estate. Corn maps need work too but that's a much bigger project I imagine since it's multiple maps. So it just makes sense this would be a reference to Estate rework all things considered.
Mount Ormond and Disturbed Ward need some big reworks.
-
Huntress is very overrated, give her any map that is not Blood Lodge or Wreckers Yard and good survivors will make her life a hell. Even very good Huntress mains like Scott and Umbra DC from her worst maps and if you have the urge to DC with your main killer on multiple maps, then that killer is not top tier period.
And btw, Demo is better than Huntress in every single way.
@thesuicidefox said:
I've only played against Demo like 3 times. I wouldn't even be able to place him.
I feel like people are over estimating Hag. She's good but she's limited to teleporting when survivors trigger a trap and has to focus on zoning/area control over actual map pressure. She can generate pressure in the areas she controls very well, but run to a trap dead zone and she becomes low tier instantly. I'd place her after Freddy at best.
Ghostface should be higher on the list, probably where billy is now. In fact I would move Billy up a tier, and put Hag then GF in his place. GF is the best stealth killer in the game. Myers can be strong, but the fact he is weak in ew1 hurts him a lot, and then he loses all stealth when he gains ew3 one shots. GF can do both stealth and one shots at the same time, even though using stalk is generally not the optimal strat. It's more the threat he can do it that is important.
And I would put Myers above Plague. Plague is only strong with the right build. At base she lacks map pressure and good survivors will just not cleanse against her, which is sort of good because they are always one shot but then more sort of bad because they never waste time healing and it doesn't slow them down on gens at all. If you are a good looper you can waste enough time even injured for it to seriously hurt her.
And as much as you love LF sorry but he should be at the bottom. Clown is weak, Legion is weak, but they have more chase potential/map pressure respectively to put them above Bubba. Bubba really doesn't have anything. No map pressure and very little chase potential. I know you will say "use these add-ons" but that would just prove my point. He needs add-ons just to be mediocre in a chase. By contrast, a good Clown will dominate every chase without add-ons. And even bad Legions can generate map pressure if they are constantly putting survivors into Deep Wounds.
Every killer is kinda weak without the right build against good survivors, so I don't get your point.
-
I used to watch Monto for his builds, but eventually, I got bored, his builds started to be kinda repetitive to me. I also loved Ardetha, he always made me laugh, but I didn't watch him for a while too.
Now I watch Space Coconut, Smashen Tru3 and sometimes Scott Jund.
-
That is your mistake number 1. You should only go for recharge time, range and maybe Jenner's Last Breath as add-ons when you actually play to win and not to meme.

Clown isn’t necessarily bad. He just isn’t as good as the other killers (IMO). I think Legion is above LF, Clown and Doc because of their pressure and game stalling, even if they can struggle with a first down. Wraith is quite underrated actually. His hit and run technique is what I use and it works quite well. His ability to body block certain loops helps as well.
Too bad Legion doesn't have any pressure or game stall.

But running X perk to counter Y ( aka running Ruin or PGTW to counter gen rush or BBQ to counter the grind ) was killers life style from beta.

I get skillchecks, tons of em
Well, Autodidact is way too situational and most of time and penalty healing you get at the first 2 tokens can actually hurt your team. It really needs a buff in my opinion.

Btw, don't look at the perks order in tiers, I just put the perks in their tiers without a specific order.

To be fast, here is my survivor perk tier list :

Everyone sleeps on Trappy boy. He's add on dependent, but he can be immensely powerful with smart trap placement. The ability to passively gain free hooks or injuries is so valuable.
He just has too many counter play in my eyes and without purple/red add-ons, his power is too big of a time waste.

Sure, she is pretty map reliant but so is Billy. I just can't see how the Plague, currently, is a better choice compared to the Huntress when being used by players of equal (high)skill.
Not that it really matters in the end lol.
Huntress has more bad maps than Billy and Huntress is a 110% speed killer, if she gets a map where her hatchets are unreliable or has too many high walls loops, then she becomes useless. Also, there are a lot of buildings where you can literally infinite loop a Huntress, when you can't do that against any other killer. She has too many weaknesses in my eyes and it's not worth anumite the time to master her.
-

The thing is...Nurse doesn’t care if you see her or not. She’s so strong in a chase that if you allow her to get too close to you then she won’t have an issue catching you.
Plus most decent killers ignore OoO users. Spirit and Nurse just don’t care. They don’t have anything to lose by you knowing where they are. They don’t place traps. They don’t throw long range hatchets. They aren’t weak in a chase. They aren’t stealth killers. Them knowing where you are is a disadvantage to you because you’re feeding information to the two strongest killers that have the upper hand in a chase.
But you didn't understand what I said. You can now outrun her blinks very easily with OoO. It doesn't matter if she can ignore all survivors defenses ( which btw is not even true anymore, I seen so many dead zones lately, playing her on Haddonfield is hell ), when she can't catch up to you after 20-30 seconds have passed.
-
Devs really seem to love based cooldowns powers lately. I bet that the next killer will also have a bar meter on his power.
-
@MegMain98 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/825461#Comment_825461
Hag isn’t as optimal against a coordinated SWF group or OoO. OoO is great against all killers except Nurse and Spirit.
However, I rarely run into OoO and she can still win against a good group. A majority of SWF groups aren’t great anyways in my own experience.
I typically won’t even play Hag if I see flashlights.
Actually, OoO is now great even against Nurse, because if she doesn't have recharge time and/or range add-ons, you can use OoO to see when she's coming and literally outrun her blinks, making her waste a lot of time if she tries to catch up to you.
-
It doesn't matter what we say, Nurse mains already told them what they should've changed at her ( nerf her range and extra blinks add-ons and increase her fatigue duration with 1 second and decrease a little bit her lunge post blink to add more counter play for survivors ).
What they did ? Add a cooldown that completely kills her on big maps and give her 3 "speed limiters" as add-ons.
So I am sure our opinion won't matter when it comes to Spirit's changes.
-
Except recharge time, range and maybe Jenner's Last Breath I really don't her add-ons worth using in a serious build. Most of them are just for meme builds or to make your life a hell on purpose.
She is still very strong, especially with add-ons I mentioned, but now I would put Spirit higher than her, because better add-ons and less map reliant.
-
@GrootDude said:
@Marcus I don’t play huntress but I’ve seen how some really good ones play in my survivor games so I personally think she is still really good and I agree that Plague in underrated.
I also saw some really good Huntress players DCing on multiple maps, so despite her having the potential to be really, she is too map dependent to be worth of top 5 anymore. I barely see her even in top 10 now.
-
Huntress gets cucked by way too many maps to consider her top 5 anymore. Literally all of the new maps ( Family Residence, Mount Ormond, Temple of Purgation, Hawkins Laboratory ) are garbage for her. The old maps like Coldwind Farm and MacMillan Estate have buildings and loops which just she can't contest. She gets nerfed by everytime a new map that is added and by even minor changes added to the old maps ( like adding more trees in the MacMillan Estate maps ). Even 2000 hours Huntress mains are gonna DC on Haddonfield, Lery's, The Game, Hawkins, and that says a lot.
Plague is really underrated because if survivors don't cleanse, then they are 1 shot the entire match and they can't hide. She counters medkits, all healing perks including Adrenaline and all stealth perks including Iron Will and she can always bring Apples to make sure she gets Corrupt Purge no matter what survivors do. She also has better perk synergy than Huntress and she has some really dirty slow down builds and snow ball builds ( Infectious Fright is really good on her ).
That's why I would put Plague in top 5-7 and Huntress barely top 10.
-
Good tier list, but I think Huntress is way too high and Plague way too low.
Tomorrow I might tell you why I think Huntress is so overrated and Plague so underrated.

If you are chasing someone and miss a hatchet, you really don't need to go out of your way to recollect it because chances are they will continue to run in the same direction. You seem to be under the impression you have to break the chase to collect them, no not at all. More likely you will naturally recollect them as you keep chasing. Plus you can still reload normally.
The problem with reloading hatchets over time is that it's outside the control of the killer. It also completely negates the need to reload, which she should still need to do. With what I suggested, you have basically an ALTERNATIVE way to reload.
I don't get why it has to have 0 downsides. If an add-on is powerful or game changing it should have a downside to promote that type of play. Otherwise it just ends up being overpowered. Heck current Iri Heads have a downside and they are still considered OP.
Well it's not OP. Iri Head is actually trash when used alone and only really worth using together with Infantry Belt. With Infantry Belt it's really powerful, but not OP, not when half of the maps make Huntresses hatchets almost useless.
