TTVs.
Especially TTVs with a flashlight. -

Doesn't Dracula not have one either? He's like literally the incarnation of the concept of chaos, which they lean into pretty heavily with the True Form skin and his name being The Dark Lord.
I bet Konami just didn't want to have their characters stated to be nerfed in lore, although the very fact Alucard doesn't slime every killer that isn't Dracula or either of the Vecna's the moment the match starts means he must've been.
Perhaps Dark Lord doesn't need a mark because he's no threat to the Entity. In one of his lobby voicelines he says that this is Vampire heaven, plus he gets to bring his castle with him wherever he goes. That seems like a good deal to me! He's got all the prey he wants, gets the nicest views from his balcony, and never has to worry about daylight.
Vecna, on the other hand, is a conqueror who willingly came to the Realm with the intention to bring it under his control. And he is very much capable of doing so. And the Entity knows this. Hence the mark, because otherwise it's only a matter of time before Vecna actually succeeds. -

These blue skins are cool especialy billy due to his overdrive being blue now which is coold effect but I fear the reason you cant buy them is because they count as deep rift variants like the one for dracula true form (the blue version) so these skins are only possible to get in that rift I believe and cant be bought like normal variants.
Shame they dont add them on the new rifts tho because I belive they would be more welcomed than those skins that we getting lately.
Those icy cosmetics are not Deep Rifts, as that didn't exist back when they originally released. Deep Rift was introduced with Rift 13, and these icy cosmetics are from Rift 6.
They have been in bundles a few times and so I was able to get the Trapper one. I don't know if they will return to store permanently, though. -
I am experiencing something similar but with Save The Best For Last. For some reason, every time I run it the first survivor I find is the obsession …

Might be good with scene partner and eyes of belmont.
Hardened doesn't work with Scene Partner, it completely cancels it out (and does not trigger the Hardened clause of 'instead of screaming, see aura').

The only way that removing stacking of anything can work, is if every affected perk, add-on etc is compensated properly.
The reason why their initial plan to remove Haste and Hindered stacking failed, was largely in part due to the cherry picking that was done from the perks and add-ons with these effects. A lot of perks, including ones that rely on stacking to be useful (Blood Pact + Teamwork: Power of Two) were completely overlooked in that PTB and didn't receive any compensation or buffs.
Of course people are going to be negative about it because those perks and add-ons became even weaker as a result. The idea was good, just poorly thought through. -
It doesn't need to be balanced.
It's a fun, temporary, chaotic mode. No worries about losing MMR, no need to try and get that pip since you can't gain any.
Also, you are contradicting yourself in saying "I accept anyone disagreeing with me, but then i also expect you to accept that you are just objectively wrong."
Saying anyone who disagrees with you is objectively wrong is not accepting a disagreeing opinion. That's just rejecting them outright because you are unwilling or unable to defend your argumentation. -
You can play Survivor while you wait.

Hey there, this is definitely not something that has been forgotten about. It will be in a future release, but likely not this current release period that we're testing on the PTB now. I would expect it to come early next year given this is the last release of 2025.
Thank you, Mandy 😁. That was a quick response!
Good to have a more clear window of when we can expect this to be added. I'll try and be patient and will be looking forward to further news! -

you can just go to the stats website, that should show the map
Extra, unnecessary steps and this only works when you have a BHVR account.
-
Wholeheartedly agree.
While I wasn't able to watch all of it, I did catch portions and rewatched some parts later.
Very refreshing to see so many faces from both the frontlines as well as behind the scenes and get an idea of what's coming.
Keep it up! 😁 -
We kind of have him 'at home' already!
-
This was such a disaster.
Drop not working for a full hour, the chat being completely buried in '!drop" spam and other disruptive behaviour from people who were just there to get the drop, then the solution being presented near the end only for it to not work.
Definitely needs to be done better next time. -
Ah, another addition for the BHVR Hall of Absolute Insane Takes.
The ones around the whole kill switch controversy were starting to feel a bit lonely. -
It becomes even better when you dedicate your whole build around it.
Brutal Strength, Enduring, Fire Up, Forever Entwined
Or Iron Grasp and Pop Goes The Weasel to mix into this as well
Old Knock Out was thematically very appropriate, I still miss it.
Now do this on the event queue where you can also use the Blight Serum for super speed and haunts as rocket launchers, and you are lore accurate Nemesis! -
We're in patch 9.2.2 and guess what …
not fixed -
It makes no sense. Event items, offerings and add-ons are supposed to be Common rarity and priced accordingly. The fact that they decided to up the rarity for Halloween med kits and flashlights to Rare and Dowsing Rods to Very Rare requires a good explanation.
-
It doesn't work if someone else is repairing the generator, or when there is already a crystal on one.
You can tell the latter is the case when the generator's aura is visible in white, and standing next to it will give you a pop up that says you can't work on it at the moment. -
You need to install the crystal in a generator and have it repair itself. You get this prompt when nobody is currently working, and no other crystal is currently on it (you can tell when this is the case if the generator's aura is visible in white).
When you put the crystal in, the gen locks and will automatically repair for 25% over a short period of time. -
Stop playing as much?
I've been back on that DBD grind like never before! -
I mean, a decision like that would be met with so much backlash they'd walk back on it anyway. I cannot begin to imagine they would ever think for a second about doing this.
-
No.
-
@ThatRyanB could we please have someone look into this? Or a confirmation that this is going to be fixed before the event starts tomorrow?

Mindbreaker nor Sprintburst received adjustments, did they? What are you referring to?
Mindbreaker is currently bugged, and won't pause your Exhaustion recovery timer like it's supposed to.
Meaning, you can recover after using Sprint Burst while on a generator, and only be hit with the default 5-second Exhaustion timer when letting go. With Vigil, this is of course a lot less. -

Yes! Natively:
We appreciate all the feedback on the Reverence Rift and the upcoming Halloween Event, and we'd like to keep the conversation open about our plans going forward.
After changes with our production partners temporarily halting development of recolored outfits, we brought Deep Rift items earlier in the Premium Track as well as rebalanced the Charms & Player Cards in the Free & Premium tracks to compensate, resulting in an increased disparity between the two.
We understand the value that the Rift brings our players & the importance of a rewarding experience, so starting with the next Rift, in addition to bringing back recolored outfits, we will be making adjustments to strike a better balance between the tracks.
Who are these 'production partners', and does that mean you are outsourcing things like cosmetic recolours entirely?
-
Throwing in even more screenshots to illustrate the problem.
This really needs to be fixed before the start of the event! -
It already has multiple effects.
Survivors will cough, so it's impossible to stealth.
Infecting a Survivor slows them down, quite significantly when using Licker Tongue.
What more would you want? -
New rift so bad they bring back the AoT collection.
Enjoy! 😁 -

4 flashlight groups are mostly funny games.
Except for certain builds I'm not using lightborn at all. You only need to look down or up.
And how are you going to do that when locked in an animation?
-
You don't really think that DBD's infrastructure can handle that, do you?
-
but they’re encouraging players to not bother learning at all.
Precisely what I've been doing for 4 years already. Not being bothered at all and just enjoying the game.
-
Lightborn is indeed fine, for the fact that it's a double-edged sword.
You will prevent an (early) flashlight save or two, but once survivors catch on they'll not follow you around anymore and instead be more efficient on gens. Or find other means to be altruistic.
It's a risk you take as Killer. -
Ah, much better 😁!

Dunno folks I think that since 6 updates ago they've just been focused on making as much moolah as possible.
They say they'll fix the game but then killers feel unstoppable for 2 weeks, and it flip flops. They can't balance for anything, I mean let's take Azarhovs resting for example. They put a map in the game where you have to be a toxic little turd to get any traction. If it takes a killer 60 full seconds to cross, and it does I timed it.
How is any non super-mobile killer meant to keep up? They release an update to 'stop slugging' but then encourage it with poor map design and routinely forgetting the basic mechanics of their own game.
This 'Operation Health' is a hoax and they're just trying to stop the bleeding so people can give them more hard earned money for doing the bare minimum at BHVR HQ as is normal.Something tells me you made an account just to say this.

Am I insane?😨
Because the Dracula's Castle charm definitely had tiny bats orbiting around the top of the castle at some point.
It wasn't when the charm was released, it was quietly patched in one of those Tuesday bug fix patches.
I think after Springtrap came out?
Also that mushroom charm was 100% animated when it came out.
They must be broken right🤔
Then you've seen something else than what I have 🤔.
https://youtu.be/1piESPRw9mQ
Because the Emerging Castle charm never had bats flying around it as far as I can remember. Not at launch, and not at this very moment either. So if it was patched somewhere in between to have animation, it's gone again.
Maybe you were thinking about that other charm, the Observer's Tower? As for the Mushroom, I took that screenshot on May 27, some time after the Rift came out, because it was a bit difficult to see whether it even had animation in the Rift menu itself. But at the time of the screenshot, at least, it had no animation. And still does not to this day.
-
Yeah, they're not part of the Quests right now.
-
At this point it's pretty safe to say that the Vinyl Dolls collection will never come back, and will never have all figurines represented in it.
-
Many times have I come here to complain about Ascended charms not being animated when they should be.
https://youtu.be/HnmVKCL3oGM
But I will also come back here whenever they release one that is.Thank you once again, BHVR 😍! On to the next one.

II Don't know, but when I logged in, there wasn't even a Milestone section in the quests. Just DbD Day, Weekly and Daily. Hopefully it's a bug, or they heard us complain about Milestones and just removed them lmao
The ultimate nerf: they're just gone entirely 😁

Thats not how it works
Then how does it work?
Unbreakable gives you a prompt you have to click before you get up. That's part of the perk. -
@mecca said:
The game is extremely killer sided. It is not hard to understand people find survivor unplayable/unwinnable. It's always a survivor incentive.
Yet, BHVR just sits around taking orders from killer main streamers like a maid.
I really think most people just get tired of waiting or tired of playing killer, switch to survivor and find it too hard to win. That's what I think of most DCs.
Sure, buddy. Killer mains really wanted all those extra pallets and less deadzones!
@brewingtea said:
No killer DCs though. That's interesting. Like the problem is only on one side for weird and unknown reasons
Well, I had four today 😁.
-
You can absolutely 99 your recovery.
Do NOT hold down the button to recover like you would normally, since it's now automatic.
Because if you do, you will indeed get up when you might not intend to.
Once the recovery bar is full, you get a prompt that you have to press/click to complete the recovery, get up, and keep moving. -
Still the case in 9.2.1.

Adding another video to the report.
I used Sprint Burst, hopped on a gen, recovered from Exhaustion while Mindbreaker was active, walked off the base debuff, sprinted again … -

I think her current kit is fine as is if anything she needs an overhaul to her add-ons. She only has maybe 3 that's when worth using while the rest feel worthless.

I submitted a bug ticket about this and I received this response:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/J119JQX2Z249/rift-pass-rewards.png
If that's correct, then only four of the five weekly Rift Pass quests count towards the final goal. Which means the Rift Pass is designed to force players to complete all quests within a limited amount of time to earn the final reward.
Again, the Tomes weren't nearly this bad. Only event Tomes were time limited, and in most Tomes players had options in terms of a path to take rather than being required to do them all. The Quest Challenge design is awful. I don't enjoy sitting in a killer queue forever so I can kick 15 gens in one match. That's less fun than house chores, at least mopping the kitchen floor feels satisfying when it's clean, who the hell wants to waste time in the killer queue just to then waste time kicking gens? There is no feeling of accomplishment to this garbage.
I'm not sure that properly, fully expresses my dissatisfaction with the current Rift Pass Quest Challenge design.
This is exactly how it works.
Under the Rift Pass tab to the left you see the total amount of quests available at that time.
But for the rewards, only 4 quests per week count. 10 weeks x 4 quests per week = 40 quests, needed for the final reward. -
I decided to name my Nemesis and Dark Lord presets again yesterday, and lo and behold, they were saved when I booted up the game this morning! 😁
