It would go from 16:4 perks to 20:5.
Also, let's maybe not let Survivors have a 5th second chance perk each.
Meanwhile, what's the Killer gonna do with a 5th perk slot?
Most builds on M1 Killers is something like BBQ, Pop, Enduring and Spirit Fury, and that's mostly because there's just not enough good options.
-
Blight, easily.

Remove him from the game.
That doesn't sound like a buff, now does it?
-
Ghostface legit does everything better than Myers.
And he's still not that great.

Myers? What about wraith, blight or freddy? And its honestly a debate whether Myers is better then ghostface. I'm pretty sure Myers is far from the worst killer in the game.
Firstly, Wraith got buffed in 4.5.0 and is going to get a bigger buff with the new chapter.
Secondly, Blight and Freddy are both top tier Killers. What the hell are you on about?
Thirdly, Myers is Ghostface, if they:
- Made Ghostface one of the tallest Killers in the game with no crouch
- Removed leaning
- Made it take way longer to stalk
- Gave Ghostface a movement speed penalty while in stealth
- Forced him to effectively mark 3 people just to get one Exposed hit usually
Myers has the worst early game of any Killer, and nothing can put a Band-Aid on that any more.

That main building is incredibly RNG dependant. There's been spawns where the windows, once the walls are broken, are incredibly weak, and other times where I'm literally invulnerable.
Honestly they messed up this rework and made the main building absolute bs to deal with imo.
Went from arguably one of the most balanced maps to being skewed on either side completely depending on luck. Like, the RNG on Chapel before was bad, but it was manageable.
It's like they use these map reworks just to make excuses for bad design choices. Except for Ormond. They actually made that mostly better in my opinion.
-
I'll be even more of a Jeff Main than I already am.
-
You know what? Unironically, Darkness Among Us. Hear me out:
- My favourite Survivor. I main Jeff and I probably will until the game (or I) die.
- My favourite Map. I love snow-themed horror and Ormond is the only thing that gives that to me in this game. Plus, after the rework, it's actually pretty balanced for both sides.
- My favourite Killer. While Legion on release was a failure of game design, they've kind of simmered down into a more relaxing playstyle where you just sprint around and go on a stabbing spree. I've had so many moments where Legion does things that other Killers just straight up cannot. But please, BHVR, buff him, give him a rework, whatever. Make him a bigger threat as a Killer.
-
I think the perk that needs the most buffs for each side is Buckle Up and Hex: Blood Favor.
I think Buckle Up should get this effect, in addition to the current effects:
"When you heal a Survivor from the dying state to the injured state, that Survivor is given the Endurance status effect for the next 8 seconds."
Basically give it Soul Guard's effect, except when you pick them up instead of when you are picked up.
For Blood Favor, take your pick at one of these ideas:
-Remove the Hex and increase the range to like 24 or even 32 meters while also increasing the duration by a bit.
-Remove the cooldown and make it affect every pallet on the map, because that'd be strong enough for a Hex Perk.
-Make it affect pallets outside of the 16 meter range instead of inside that range. Either they hold W and hope the effect wears off before the Killer catches up or they stay at a nearby loop and risk going down quickly on that loop.
I think choosing one of these ideas for Blood Favor would make the perk much better.

You seem to have come to a conclusion based on an assumption.
You said you'd prefer leaving it alone, which means you'd rather leave it as infinite wallhacks.

-Make Rules Set No. 2 base kit
-Make Jigsaw boxes never give the key on the first search
-Make Jigsaw boxes start RBT timers upon starting a search
-Make already active RBT timers lose more time whenever a gen pops
-Make base crouch/uncrouch speed faster
-Make the Ambush attack less crap
-Make the EGC starting also activate RBTS
-Rework Addons
I see so many people say Rules Set No. 2 should be a basekit mechanic but I disagree.
Since they can't see the Boxes, they're more likely to do generators instead of try and get the inactive trap off of their head while looking for something that they can't even locate easily.
It just makes your slowdown potential worse.
Personally, I'd like to see Ambush be able to vault pallets and then continue the dash for about 0.8 seconds afterwards. If they were to rework The Pig's addons, there could be a set that increases the duration of the post-vault dash. This change would make pallets less of a way to instantly shut down Ambush and make it be a bit more interesting.

Second Wind is really good now. Like unironically good. I use it as tunnel bait. Get the killer to commit to me, heal to full health as I'm running, ajd then hit them with DS if I go down within a minute or force a locker DS. It's pretty dirty.
Wake Up will also save your...butt. How many times have you died when the killer hit you with the gate at 90%? What if you saw the gate auras permanently after the last gen and also opened the gates faster? It also tells your teammates which gate you're on.
The only issue with the new Second Wind is that someone unhooking you with BT is incredibly crippling.
-
I really love Second Wind. It's by far one of my favorite perks to run nowadays.
-
The effect will not be gone when they're unhooked.
They will keep the Mangled effect and the bleeding increase until they heal to Healthy.
-
@NoGoodUsernamesLeft said:
Nope. Leave it alone. This isn't a re-work, you are effectively removing OOO from the game, and replacing it with something else entirely. Every 30 seconds makes it like a homing device attached to the survivor and means they have zero control over using it. Stealth is no longer an option with the proposed changes to this perk.
So you'd rather a Survivor have infinite wallhacks? Cool.

Yeah...
Thanks...
I’m so happy you told the killer where to come right from the very start of the match...
Whenever I do that challenge, I bring a toolbox with the addon that prevents any sabotage notifications because I know how detrimental it can be if the Killer knows where you are immediately.

I feel like Jack would be a fun choice but idk what his power would be.
Maybe a Killer that gets stronger as the match goes on?

YOU THINK MYERS IS THE WORST KILLER IN THE GAME?! What about Trapper, he has a terrible bad early game which can sometimes lead to losing the entire game (when playing against SWF, sometimes also versus solos). Basekit Wraith and his "extra movement speed when cloaked" is barely useful and noticeable unless you use movement speed add-ons. Wraith is also a pretty terrible killer unless you do the hit and run strat with him, A LOT of people don't doe.
Definitely. Myers is pathetic.
Take Trapper's bad early game along with pretty much no benefit for it, Basekit Wraith's lack of good mobility (only Myers doesn't have an addon to compensate) and all of that for what? Being an M1 Killer that can insta-down after charging something? There's like 3 other Killers that all do that but infinitely better.
At least Trapper and Wraith can get bandaid fixes for them in the form of Corrupt Intervention and Bag addons (Trapper's case) and Windstorm (Wraith's case). Myers, even with both of the faster stalking addons, still wastes so much time to just become a basic M1 Killer.
Plus he has many issues with stalking as it is, especially on maps like Swamp where it seems that you can see a large portion of them while stalking and they won't even be stalked.
And there's no reason for him to run out of stalk on a Survivor. That'd be like if Survivors eventually built up a resistance to Plague's vomit and it stopped affecting them.
-
I think before the buff back in Silent Hill, he was the worst Killer in the game, personally. I played him a decent amount and it just always felt like I was getting held back by that problem specifically.
Since then, I've gone back and forth between whether Myers or Clown is the worst.
Now that the reload is faster, and the Antidote has specific moments where it's fantastic, I think Myers is absolutely the worst Killer in the game.
-
Small Game: I seem to have this hidden talent that makes me incapable of getting through a conversation without one participant getting upset so I just avoid conversations.
Lucky Break: I'm awful at pretty much everything that matters but I still get by somehow.
Left Behind: I usually laser focus on something until it's done or I just don't do it at all because I suck.
-
If I had to go with something that seemed reasonable, a mage that controls the elements in different ways.
If I could go with anything, The Scissor Man, Jennifer Simpson and the Mansion from the first Clock Tower game.
-
I don't think Clown was even the worst Killer before.
I think Myers was worse before and still is the worst.

The devs seem so against adding auric cells in the free track, there's a lot of empty spots in the free track doesn't hurt to add something like that. That's what Fortnite does with their battle passes, and have been doing continuously as well. Or you know maybe just add about a few shards if you don't want to do auric cells. Also I remember correctly that once they added the redeem code function last year into the store, auric cells were mentioned to be given with codes. It's been like seven to eight months, and still haven't see auric cell codes. Makes me think they lied about it to no surprise.
You know what, I'd be fine with having Bloodpoints or Shards in the empty spots of the free track. Cells seems unlikely but the other two should absolutely be done.

Gilided Stampede
I think he was joking that there is kind of no event.

I think we're only gonna get the teaser for it within the next week.

Cosmetics are decent, getting more points for free pretty much is nice. Solid 7/10 event. A bit underwhelming but at least it doesn't seem to be that bugged.

I surprised that no one said Myers. His power is very outdated and is pretty boring imo. He could use some QoL buffs to help modernize him.
As a Legion main, I agree he needs some buffs, but not a full rework. Also he's not as bad as people say he is.
I definitely agree that Myers could also use a Rework.
As a Legion main myself I just wish he had a more unique power than "Run for 10 seconds (slower than Victor by the way) and then get a cluster headache."
-
I kind of wish that Tonics and Antidotes didn't use the same pool of bottles but this is still interesting.
I gotta admit, I really want to try and get better at using the Antidote.
-
Legion. Please.
-
Honestly I think Vigil just needs a complete rework.
Maybe it could work like Distortion, where it soaks up a status effect at the use of a token. However, maybe not Exposed, Deep Wounds or Broken since that could cause issues with Killer powers like Myers, Legion and Plague.
-
Honestly, not the worst idea I've heard about a way to buff No Mither.
But then I feel like Iron Will needs something else.
-
You... could just grind shards to get those Characters.

I'm absolutely pissed off that the proposed change was actually the ONLY thing they did for Clown.
(Improved reload speed is just a number tweak, though it helps, I don't consider that a "real change" as it doesn't change anything significant about his kit, it just alleviates an issue that he had that reloading took too much time)
Because let's get real for a moment here, the yellow bottles have absolutely no real significant use or impact in a match. With the speed boost you only gain some 2.3 meters of distance overall, which is basically nothing, on top of having now sacrificed one of your bottles since both the yellow and purple share a pool. Sure, it's not like the Clown got any worse with this change since you don't have to use the yellow bottles, but Clown was and arguably still is in an awful place, he needed a sizable buff to address problems of a lack of map mobility, map control, and a general lack of map pressure. This change was not that sizable buff, sure the yellow gas has a purpose but the purpose is so minor that it may as well not even exist most of the time. It was a disappointing, pitiful change and that's it.
What really gets me riled up is that the devs are likely looking at the fancy new visuals Clown has for his bottles, the "Brand new mechanic" they introduced which is "sure to make him better!" and they're going to pat themselves on the back for a "job well done", and then they're going to ignore Clown for yet another year or two before finally they decide to take a whack at trying to make him a better killer again.
Clown is one of if not the most underdeveloped, under-appreciated original killer out of the entire roster. He's had so few changes of real significance made to him, it blows my mind that this killer has been so consistently poorly rated by the community for the longest of time, and the devs are STILL so unwilling to actually provide a sizable Doctor level rework. I cannot believe it, and it's beyond frustrating as hell for a genuinely cool and creepy killer.
Clown was one of the first 10 chapters ever released into the game, years later we're almost double that at 20 chapters and some of the later killers that came after clown have had more serious thought and effort put into reworking them than clown ever got in his entire lifetime. It's absolutely ridiculous.
To be fair though, I think he has the best reworked addons of any Killer up to this point. All of them are unique and not one of them is a diet version of a teachable perk.
-
Like - The Wraith buffs are very nice and I'm glad that they at least noticed he needed a buff, even if it wasn't the buff I (and many others) personally wanted for Wraith.
Hate - The underwhelming Clown rework. This was supposed to be Clown's big break and it could've made him a really good Killer but they went with a lazy, useless addition that changed almost nothing.
They might as well have slapped on the reload buff and called it a day.

I like your build. Is second wind good?
Not incredibly good. Very situational activation and there are a lot of situations where some stupid player self cares for a split second before you start healing them after an unhook. I would recommend trying it with We'll Make It if you want to.
Plus it got somewhat nerfed and buffed at the same time in this current patch. I made a whole post on Second Wind and it's 4.5.0 change two days ago if you want to check that out.
-
My entire build is non-meta perks.
Second Wind, Aftercare, Distortion and Lithe is usually my go-to build.
-
Same as he was before. Only thing I'd argue differently now is that Clown isn't the worst Killer in the game, which I'd say is now Myers.
I think the 3 seconds reload is just enough to get him above the pathetic Shape that we currently have.

You know what this version doesn't even look that bad. Does the yellow bar indicate Deep Wounds or something?

Lithe feels like the most controllable one that's still strong.

@Xpljesus said:
I agree with this pretty much, there are two things though I have an issue with relevant to these topics
1: The UI scaling is useless to me ultimately, if I want my perks an appropriate size, my score events are so small, and already hidden in the top corner I basically can't see them, not really any point for me modifying widgets when I'm not happy with atleast two of them in any testing I did
2: In relation to Wraith's fixes, you now can't attack for like a second after ringing the bell, so using the bell to bait DH isn't effective anymore
Sadly the bad far far far outweighs the good in this patch, I think the perk change prospects of both this and next patch are genuinely well thought out and interesting, so they are doing a better job in that aspect
I actually didn't know about that Wraith thing. Maybe that's why I saw Wraiths running Blink in the matches I played against him.

Ehhhhhhhhhh.
Pebble buff can stay. Throw everything else in the garabge and just start over.
Fixated buff is fine though. And I think at the very least, Wraith and Trapper's slight buffs should stay.

The Scissorman from Clock Tower for licensed picks.
For non-licensed picks, some Killer based on fire.

Just fix some of her garbage addons, I guess? She doesn't need a whole lot of changes in my opinion, she'd be fine if it weren't for the garbage addons (especially those atrocious UR addons) and bugs.

That's why you change the perk to no longer heal you by a single health state, but instead heal you to full health. 😊
Oh okay, you didn't say that before so I was just confused.
-
Doritodome for Pyramid Head
-
@NMCKE said:
The problem with Second Wind is that it requires a full heal, which means you can be 0.01% away from activating the perk because someone self cared for 0.01%. 😕
It should be changed to COMPLETE A HEALING ACTION instead of heal a survivor the equivalent of a health state. 😊
To add on, make the perk take 16 seconds at tier 3 because it would line up with the base healing speed! 😅
Making it take 16 seconds at T3 makes the Deep Wounds situation even worse than before. You'd get 4 seconds between the hit from BT and needing to heal. Pretty much impossible to not waste the perk.
