The charms are generally worthless, but it's awesome getting cosmetics for characters I do play, but not enough to buy cosmetics for, and I really like the lore. They encourage me to try out new characters and new perks, and I only have to pay $10 once to get all the content from every rift afterward? Heck no. Keep the rifts. Rifts are great.
-
I was more content to wait out the cheating surge because that felt like something that wasn't necessarily in BHVR's hands to handle - I thought it was a matter of finding a new anti-cheat or waiting for EAC to come out with their next patch. Pestering them about it, hopefully, but it was always a contracted service, not an in-house one.
But the information leak is huge and it's intensely distressing that they haven't made a public statement about it. (Eurogamer? Really? Not the actual playerbase?) This is destruction of property and legitimate death threats we're talking about here, not some screaming stunlock Davids and flying hatchet Ghostfaces. The latter are obnoxious; the former is dangerous. I recognize that publicizing it carries a double-edged sword, and that you invite more of the kinds of malicious and profoundly immature people to exploit the data leak by making it known, but Pandora's box has already been opened and it's already happening. This isn't just about getting proof that DBD is putting the pedal to the metal on this one (because this isn't something that can be put off; this needs to be patched now), it's about giving people the information they need to protect themselves. Even if protecting themselves means turning off DBD for a few weeks.
And yeah - that's really bad for the bottom line. But the alternative is even worse, because it's raw proof that the bottom line matters more than not just player experience but player safety.
-
...what? I read that as praise, or wistfulness. It's a positive thing. A lot of younger people wish their parents had enjoyed video games with them.
-
Doctor. He's a noob stomper and you get plenty of less experienced players that think he's the most unfair thing ever, when he's a solidly middle of the road M1 killer without much going for him beyond detection and a very finicky antiloop. It's telling that players who try to hide hate him and the ones that understand you can do plenty of things in a killer's face and being chased isn't a bad thing don't care about him.
And Wraith as of a few months ago, but he did get hit with the nerf gun. Good night, my sweet prince.
Interested in hearing about Legion and Plague in the OP - I virtually never hear anyone suggest balance changes with Plague either way, before or after her massive QOL buffs, and most comments I hear on Legion ask for a total rework. Unless we're talking about original Legion, but that was deserved because they actually were broken.
-
I'm extremely disappointed that they haven't made an official statement about the swatting and DDOSing. The only valid excuse I can think of is that they don't want to publicize that it's currently possible and drive more asswipes to check it out, but at the same time it's denying everyone the knowledge to protect themselves (whether through VPN or just not playing the game until this is fixed.) And I worry that it's the second thing and not the first behind their silence - they don't want people to stop playing the game.

Once you learn flashlight counterplay it isn't as necessary, but if I see 3-4 of them in lobby I often throw it on just as a bit of an f u. Flashlight squads are just tedious, and I love just trashing their plans.
This. It's one thing to know how to deal with flashlights and another to have to spend a minute swatting people away from your down just so you're finally able to pick them up and hook them. I don't even care that the whole team is wasting their time and I get health states out of it, it's just obnoxious as hell. Tedious is a very good word for the process and Lightborn cuts through the bullshit when you run into a four flashy squad.
Plus people get so pissed when they figure it out. You'd think blinding the killer is their god-given right, the reactions you get.
-
Yeah, the issue with your MMR dropping as a survivor is that it's easy to get stuck in a downward spiral - you'll get weaker killers, but you also get potato teammates that waste loads of time and it gets harder to escape. Maybe you can loop your killer for twice as long as before, but it doesn't matter if only one of the three people is working on a gen and the other two are just wandering around lost, or crouching scared every time they hear a TR.
Also, yes. The pip system was a much better handler for survivors because while it did tend to push you too high just for having basic competence, it reflected whether you contributed or not to the match. The new system doesn't care if you made it to the end and went down to BT save the player who was getting facecamped - it treats you the same as if you'd died two minutes into the game. You're actually punished for playing altruistically, because you increase the odds that future games are going to contain useless teammates and end up virtually unwinnable.

Twins aren't that bad, their camping potential its still good. There are far worse killers that are really outdated like Legion, Myers and others that has been gutted by the devs like Billy (RIP) and Pig.
Twins have massive cooldowns for virtually everything they do. Succeed, fail, switch, you're on a delay when you do it. They're insanely clunky to play and it's what makes slugging a necessity - they have more trouble hooking their downs than any other killer in the game. In fact, if you down a survivor with Victor in the newest boon zone, if Charlotte is more than 32m away, they will get back up before you can reach them. And CoH makes it so that survivors are rarely wandering around injured anymore, which was necessary for their playstyle to work.
They're virtually unseen in the wild and despised when they do make a rare appearance. Trickster's had 4 times as many new outfits as they have despite being released half as long. Easily BHVR's red-headed stepchild, which is... sadly appropriate for their lore. Reviled wherever they go.
They need a full rework. Possibly making use of the relatively new AI to make the other twin function while idle.

Yes, 99 of 100 killers use it. I know, I know. None use it for the aura reading
To be strictly fair, BBQ is better than its survivor equivalent WGLF - easier to get 4 stacks and with a more useful not-bloodpoints effect.
People do use the aura reading from BBQ, they'd just use different detection perks if BBQ didn't offer a big honking stack of bloodpoints to go with it. Besides, BBQ being meta is actually helpful to survivors. It means you can generally predict where the killer will go next depending on whether you hid from BBQ conditions or presented yourself as a juicy target. It's basically a safe-to-assume default with a baked-in way to evade, where otherwise you'd have to be way more attentive on whether the killer keeps showing up when two people work on a gen, when someone touches a regressing gen, when someone heals, etc.

Technically you can still try to unhook yourself and decide to hit skillchecks or not. But regardless being hooked is part of the game. Just because your actions are limited while on a hook does not mean you are being held hostage.
You will either die on hook or get saved. Being held hostage implies that you have no option to die or escape.
You can't unhook yourself if the killer is standing in front of you facecamping, which is the situation we're discussing. If you have DS, there's an 11.5% chance you can kobe and make it away from the hook. There's an 88.5% chance you kill 60 of the 120 seconds your death would have brought your team to do gens and escape unharmed, guaranteeing the facecamper will catch someone else before the game ends.
There's no agency but to die sooner or die later. I think the issue here is that you're conflating 'held hostage' with the specific terminology meant as a reportable offense, where you leave someone in a position where they can only disconnect. That's not the only meaning of the term. Again, semantics.
-
I won't argue about DH, but DS is only loosely meta anymore, and if you trigger it, it's entirely your fault. It's not even like Borrowed Time where you can use it offensively despite it being a defensive perk at its inception. If a player off the hook is really aggressively trying to bait a chase and getting in your way, count to twelve, down them, and leave them there. And if you tunnel, there's always the chance you're going to eat a DS. You can get right back to tunneling after that if you really need to, and they can't DS you again. That's all there is to it.
Urban Evasion and Fixated are nowhere close to meta. Iron Will and Unbreakable outclass them by miles. Urban Evasion is mostly for people doing flashy plays and Fixated is mainly to make Sprint Burst more tolerable.

Being on a hook isn't being held hostage. Part of the gameplay loop for survivors is being on the hook where you don't get many options.
Sometimes you'll die on first or second hook, that's just part of the game.
If you want to play a role that is always guaranteed to always be able to engage in actions then you should play killer instead.
I'm fairly sure I would define 'not being allowed to do anything all game' as being held hostage. Whether it's legal or not isn't the point; the facecamped player doesn't get to play the game and has wasted all their items and offerings. The rest is semantics.
Being hooked is part of the gameplay loop, but it's not meant to be the entirety of the experience. No game would shove the bulk of its 'gameplay' into a time-out zone where the only input you have is to quit the game.
-
Hawkins isn't gone until the 17th. There's still five more days to play on the map. The offerings were removed about a month ago, however.

my advice is to not focus on a 4k, but instead just having fun. try a meme build without cheap tactics; if you win, that's awesome, if not, you were running a meme build.
I mean, I do, but this would be a lot easier to take pleasure out of if the other side wasn't playing competitively and didn't so often mock the hell out of you for letting up, not using meta, or playing fair.
It's hard to get into a casual spirit when the people you're playing against aren't doing the same. Just makes you feel like you're getting shat on. It's very doable in low-medium MMR, but in high MMR you're going to get abused until you're too bitter to continue.
-
I think Carmina fits in just fine. It's her mannerisms. She acts like a bird in a human body - the twitches, the bobbing, the gurgled chirping and shrieks. The pitch-black eyes are the cherry on top of the uncanny valley.
She's way more unnerving than something like Trickster or Legion. I could easily imagine her in a horror movie.
I do think the way her power looks is a bit silly though. I could do without the giant crow heads - that looks like something more out of an action/fighter game than a horror one. Same with her mori, it's awesome except for the giant crow bursting out of their body. That's just kind of stupid. If it had just been a flock of crows descending to pick at the corpse after she tears out their eyes, that would have been far punchier.
-
It's his tome right now. A lot of people have to play as him for challenges. It's like how Clowns got so common back at the end of summer, or Plague before then.

If they annoy me, I annoy them. Simple as that. They practically beg for it.
Oh, I'm not challenging this. I'm all for payback and I'll throw the entire trial to facecamp someone who went out of their way to be a dick to me. You get what you give.
But often I see this kind of slugging/hope-spot-just-to-throw-it-in-their-face for no discernible reason, just for the fun of power-tripping, and that's when it pisses me off or just baffles me.
Edit, should add in that 'annoy me' has to extend beyond just playing really effectively or robbing me of a kill. I'm far less likely to mercy someone that spent the whole game going for flashy saves on me, and I'm not so fair that getting looped for several gens or forcibly bodyblocked doesn't piss me off, but you have to explicitly BM me to get the Bubba treatment.

You mean you haven't slowly followed the last crawling survivor right up until they are at bleed out point, or near the hatch, only to scoop them up for a hooking
No? Why would I do that? I'm wasting both of our time. The match is over, let's go on to the next one.
I'll never understand people. The other player isn't a prop for your weird power fantasies.
-
I swing my weapon and shake my head if they wiggle. If they keep wiggling, I drop them, shake my head at them, and swing my weapon again. If they keep wiggling when I pick them back up, not much choice but the hook.
Though if gens were very close to being done, I'll herd them to the most progressed gen instead. Sometimes I'll sit on the hatch to force the survivor to finish the gen and get that dreaded Left For Dead achievement. They'll thank me for it later.
-
I'd be absolutely enraged if that was the reason. The change completely killed Thrill and them ruining it because they decided to add a killer that could interrupt from anywhere on the map - it's possible that maybe having a killer that could interrupt from anywhere on the map was the poorly thought out idea? Not the only hex protecting perk in the game?
Ugh.
-
I always skip this daily nowadays. I wish it was 'land 4 Punishment of the Damneds' rather than cages, because ignoring the utility of cages/how they're not always the best choice, I run into so many survivors that just Will Not Be Tormented and will actively go down rather than run through a line you drew. Outdoor maps especially - indoors is a little easier for forcing people to eat torment.
I've had to resort to downing a survivor, drawing a circle around myself, and forcing the survivor to wiggle off to get the daily done before.
-
I really hate losing out on retired items. I felt the impulse to grab everything too. But that wasn't realistic for my budget, and ultimately I only play one of these three characters often - I don't have 100% cosmetic completion on my mains, so what actual use would I see of the pretty expensive wardrobe on characters I rarely touch? But in the future, maybe I really would, once they become cool footnotes in the annals of DBD history. So I got maybe $30 worth of auric cells, and I managed to get lucky and get a free code on the forums for a Nancy outfit as well. I ended up with two outfits for her, two for Steve, and one and a half for Demo. It was a compromise between what I wanted and what I'd realistically use. And sometimes that's just life; you can't get everything that you want, so you have to decide what matters most to you.
And if what matters most is 100% completionism, the thing is... if a tight budget is an issue? You had advance warning this was happening. Several months to work out how you'd fit in getting these cosmetics, several months where you could have pulled that $120 from other leisure purchases. You didn't, and now you're a week away from the deadline and don't have that option anymore.
I don't even know where to start on why BHVR giving everyone the Stranger Things content for free is unviable. They'd lose an unbelievable amount of money in royalties to Netflix and it would be a slap in the face to everyone who participated in their 3-month going-away sale.

"My camera" has been blocked in pretty much every iteration I've ever tried to use the term. I just want to talk about how panicky stealth killers make me!

Correct me if I'm wrong though but the typical way The Twins are used is:
-Send Victor to jump on someone's back.
-Chase with Charlotte while they pull Victor off.
So if you down them with Charlotte, you don't have to catch up to their body because you're already standing over them.
Now even if you do need to pull out Victor again for the 2nd hit on an injured survivor, they aren't going to get a speed boost from being hit so they're not going to be that far away.
That's not how you play Twins. Twins have been made far less viable in recent updates, but the previous way was to do the bulk of your chasing with Victor and to hunt already injured survivors, so you could down without penalties and maintain your momentum. As has already been said, attacking a healthy survivor accomplishes very little unless the survivor is confused, or in a total dead zone and Charlotte is also nearby. You get a health state, but the survivor has no penalties to looping you and they can deny you your power for a minute by refusing to crush Victor. Charlotte unfortunately saw her best use bonking survivors around hooks, since you generally wanted to switch to Victor whenever possible and that often translated to 'as soon as Charlotte was done carrying someone to a hook.'
5-second stun for successful hits hurt Victor (if survivors are in pairs, they will be able to kick you and start healing their buddy, and that's the counterplay), Circle of Healing makes it so that survivors are rarely roaming the map injured, and now you can't even get to the downed survivor fast enough to pick them up because Charlotte will typically not be near Victor, considering you're using him to chase and are more or less going to follow survivors wherever they take you.
-
Pinhead is like Pig. He's a weak killer, but he has a mechanic that baby players don't understand that they need to prioritize, and so they die in droves to it, artificially inflating his kill rates.
Pinhead can't hold up to skilled or coordinated survivors, but to the kind that go "what does that skull mean and why won't my teammate let me heal them?" when NOED goes off don't have any idea what that square is supposed to be, much less that they should go touch it (or they might be mildly more knowledgeable and know what it is, but go "ew, no, if I do that then the killer is going to teleport to me, let someone else do it"), and then the chain hunt goes off, nobody can stop getting stabbed long enough to end it because they don't know how to bodyblock or seclude themselves, nobody can do gens, and they all die. Just like how Pig gets loads of trap kills because of players that stop and heal after a hook and only think to check out a box when their heads are already 75% of the way to exploding.
These killers will never be balanced as long as BHVR keeps factoring in noob ranks as worthwhile data.

If they let you get a hit in, and don't just wait for you to waste time only to run out at the last possible second before you're in hitting range.
The only gameplay act that I do think is toxic, even if it's not the hugest deal.
Yeah, I don't bother showing up to gates because the majority of the time, the survivor just wants me to lunge after them and hit the wall as they leave. I don't really trust survivors that want me to hit them out the gates unless we've been friendly before that point.
Heh. Yesterday I had a game where I earned about 2.5k extra bloodpoints kicking pumpkins, breaking walls, and vomming on random objects because this one clicky-click really wanted me to witness him jump through the hatch. Took him about four minutes and me walking past the room he was in before he finally gave up and left.
-
For them to feasibly do that, they'd need to limit access to the PTB by a huge degree. And it's just totally untenable on licensed chapters.
-
Huh. I never put the pieces together, but what female killers do we have that don't fit this mold? Nurse, I guess, but she lost everything she loved and was ground down mentally until she snapped. There's half of the Legion, but Frank is the face of that particular killer and also the ringleader, so I hesitate to count them. Twins - Charlotte is the main, so I can count her as a female character, and she's also a victim of 'had an absolutely horrible and helpless life' syndrome, though she at least had a little more agency in fighting back and then deciding to kill people because she just hated everyone at that point. Huntress is solid - she's a victim, but not moreso than a character like Billy or Wraith, and she took her fate into her own hands and emerged victorious - and Pig is a licensed character so I can't really count her.
I like them all individually, but it'd be a good thing to get a woman who's just actually a horrible person who does horrible things for her own sick reasons. Pig's the only one we have (and she was also a victim, but flipped around into becoming the worst kind of sadist, and had an active role in what she became), where there's plenty of men in the opposite role - Trapper, Doctor, Clown, Ghostface (the mask might be licensed but the lore isn't), and Trickster are all unambiguously monstrous. Do we actually have any really sympathetic male killers? I think Billy's the only one, and he at least lived to see his revenge - that's more than you can say for the Spirit, the Hag, or the Artist. Wraith too, but he led more of a life than just 'victim.'
-
Super depressing. The Chain Hunt is the only thing Pinhead has going for him. His chase power is terrible for the amount of effort it takes to use effectively and what you actually get out of it.
He desperately needs a buff in another area if they're going to balance this so he can't torment solo survivors that don't think to solve the box until it's too late. And if this was a response to Franklins/Hoarder, they could have made a change to how those perks interact with his power. For now, chalk him up to another killer nobody plays.
And no, a buff to an addon that replaces his best power with a generic undetectable effect he could get from various perks does not balance removing his only consistent playstyle.

What killers besides trapper have damage tho i can't see any other killers with that kind of thing
Hag and Nurse? Billy's also scarred and burned, but that could just as easily be from the Thompsons' A+ parenting.
I've also heard it floated around that killers with glowing, pupil-less eyes have had their perceptions in some way altered by the Entity, which would be interesting food for thought; Wraith, Billy, Deathslinger, Spirit, Blight, Oni, and maaaaybe Huntress. Some of these have their own reasons for having glowing eyes, but there's a few where some amount of mindscrew by the Entity helps explain their hostility. Not sure it's consistent enough to actually check out, but I've always been partial to that theory.

@BasementDweller said:
I could be wrong, but didn't the Entity torture Trapper because he didn't want to kill for the Entity?
Maybe the same is happening to her? Who knows.
It's as good a guess as any, but it doesn't feel quite right to me? Trapper was already dispositioned for murder - his dad conditioned him to be a monster and he'd already brutalized plenty of people by the time the Fog took him. He just didn't want to work for the Entity until the Entity laid out that it was the boss and you obey it or suffer. There's similar implications in Leatherface's addons, and I think Billy's, to a lesser degree?
I'm stuck on the last point of her lore - "Death was coming and again, it was her fault." The element of being anguished by everything happening but unable to intervene is a repeated theme; I'm just not connecting where she becomes an active participant in this.
Edit: @Khorzad Oh, I like that, that she's a shell of her former self. She does have a fairly unearthly vibe about her, beyond just the ink arms - I'd thought the eerie sounds she makes were because her tongue had been cut out, but you're right, they're pretty birdlike.
-
This is just depressing to me. The Chain Hunt was the only part of Pinhead's game that wasn't bottom tier, and the response was to nerf that and leave the rest of him to suffer. The only buff here is to an addon that is still completely worthless to use because it removes the best thing he can do and replaces it with an effect he can get out of other perks (including one of his own!) The number of Pinheads I see per week is going to drop from one to zero at this rate.

What nerf? His addon changes were mostly good.
- BUFF: Larry's Remains: Solving time increased by 2 seconds (was 4 seconds)
- BUFF: Liquified Gore: Solving time increased by 1 second (was 2 seconds)
- BUFF: Chatterer's Tooth: Undetectable status now lasts 25 seconds (was 12 seconds)
If you’re talking about Engineer’s Fang, they didn’t say they were nerfing the aspect that injures healthy survivors:
- Engineer's Fang: When hitting an injured Survivor with a possessed chain, only 1 additional chain will spawn
I'm confused - I thought decreasing the solving time was a nerf, not a buff. Also the torture pillar.
And yeah, I really didn't like that they increased the vision on the iri box, because that was the only remotely reliable way to get a chain hunt rolling.
-
I've given apology hooks before when I'm clearly against a new killer or another teammate was bullying them, and when I play friendly or spare everyone from a compound screw-up, I often have survivors offering themselves up at the end of the game.
I also once had a survivor come up to me and offer a kill after I had a really, really bad game between flashlights and chained tiles and went into a corner to give up. Didn't take it, though - them offering was enough to lift my mood.
-
Blight's chase theme and Deathslinger's terror radius ramping up to his chase theme. Absolute bangers.
Pyramid Head's menu music is really nice, though. Probably my favorite to listen to on loop.

Corrupt plague is arguably the deadliest killer in the game. As much as I love Vommy Mommy, she needs some kind of counter play that isnt " dont cleanse lol "
Even Legion doesnt lose their power lol
She does have counterplay. High wall structures. Honestly, you can just run in circles around a tall rock and waste half of the duration on Corrupt Purge that way. But a jungle gym is your friend. Shack's even better. On an indoor map, keep turning corners. Force her to M1 you.
If you're caught out in the open, you're dead, but if you can break LoS, you're in a good position. Skilled survivors can confound her at even low wall loops by crouching whenever she shoots, but the loop needs to be long enough that the distance lost while crouching doesn't mean she can easily come around the other side and whack you.
-
They look so incredibly out of place. A row of knives is fine, but bright cyan and purple knives? Give me back my rusty, bloody hatchets.
-
Plague's power is ranged and Oni's is melee. Having Oni be vulnerable to pallets would be way more damaging for what he's meant to do with his power burst. Plague can afford to respect pallets because she can just shoot over them if a survivor is camping them. Oni doesn't have that luxury and it's harder for him to avoid eating a stun while chasing survivors with Blood Fury.

The game borders on unplayable when the DC penalty is off, so yes, absolutely.

Oh, I agree, they will give us more, I just doubt we will see them so soon. They'll definitely want to come up with a survivor where the lore makes sense for them being able to make a boon totem.
I'm not really convinced of that. Hexes were founded with Hag, and Spirit's hex made plenty of sense considering she's a vengeful ghost and all, but what do Deathslinger, Trickster, or Blight have to do with witchcraft and curses? At some point it just becomes another game mechanic that's open for everyone.
-
F for Demo. I know the Mind Flayer wanted its dog back, but the Entity's realm will forever be lesser for the newcomers who don't get to shred down survivors, experience the joys of Leprose Lichen, or scream at the top of their lungs every time they break something.
I'll treasure every Demogorgon I meet from here on out.
-
I'm skeptical. DBD's very hands off about #########-talking in the endgame chat - you have to use slurs or very personally harass someone to get hit for it. Mass reporting someone for being rude won't do anything, and certainly not mass reporting for not liking how somebody played in game.
-
The whole thing was great, but I lost my ######### at David warp speed screaming and floating while Blight frantically attempts to articulate where he lost control of the match.
Pepsiman gameplay looks legit. New status effect: Un-quenched. There are vending machines around the map and survivors have to stop at them once every minute to acquaint themselves with the cool, refreshing taste of Pepsi, or else they start to slow down and slowly wither of thirst. But the vending machines can run out and only Pepsiman can refill them, and when he does, he parkours across the map at lightning speed, filled with the joy of bringing America's favorite soft drink to the Entity's realm.

My prediction for a new boon perk, gen speed increased by 20% while within the range of the boon totem!
Ironically, that actually wouldn't be a worthwhile boon unless you got a totem in range of two generators. It takes 14 seconds to bless. If I've done my math correctly, it takes 64 seconds to complete a gen with a 20% speed boost, and 64 + 14 = 78 - not far from the original 80, and probably equivalent or higher when you include running between the totem and the gen. Much higher when you factor in that you need to find the totem before starting the gen. It could be useful, but totem spawns aren't controllable and I suspect it'd actually be one of the worse boon perks.
So how about the following ones instead?
-Exhaustion timer goes down while running when in the boon zone
-Survivor movement speed increased by 10% in the boon zone
-Survivors in the boon zone gain permanent Endurance until they leave
I can't think of anything that could go wrong.
(NGL, I'm legitimately terrified that any of these will eventually appear. The current bar for boons is set distressingly high.)

The data says Nurse is by far the worst killer and Pig is one of, if not the, strongest.
The point can certainly be argued, but the community has a good reason to feel they understand what's healthy for the game better than the devs do. Data needs to be differentiated by rank/SBMM to be valuable and if they do that, they've never indicated so.
But yeah - like others have said, I don't want to see more boon perks until COH and Shadow Step have been reviewed. They need to decide on how boons should work as a base mechanic and what power level is appropriate for them before they start adding more.

It would make every killer in this game unplayable considering the sheer amount of disadvantages stacked on top of our add ons.....
Spirit's fine, though she'll dislike Iron Will more than usual. Plague's in a decent spot - I cannot for the life of me figure out why she has a yellow addon that removes 2 pools of devotion from the trial and doesn't do anything else (I cannot in any circumstance imagine wanting less pools, ever), but one of her Iris makes that less of a downside and her meme addon actually isn't bad, just changes her playstyle, and she can infect basically everything on the map and then get wallhacks on sick survivors. Demo's similar; he gets a lot of upsides and not too many downsides (Deer Lung is his biggest problem, I think.) Huntress is basically just running Soldier's Puttee and Iri Head, with some minor benefits to reloading and projectile speed. Pyramid Head and Nemesis just sort of very lowkey benefit from anything that's going on - same with Ghostface, Freddy, and Legion. Legion probably gets more out of their addons than the rest of them, though several of their high tier ones are useless. And Doctor would be fine, but I can't tell how the addons that change the shape of his shock interact with each other - the ring one in particular sucks and is a big downgrade from his usual.

It wouldn't be pretty. Trapper has Padded Jaws, the chainsaw guys have Speed Limiter, and Hag has her collision add-ons and stuff like that.
Trapper has Padded Jaws, but he also has Honing Stone, so I'm not sure it hurts him that much. Only your teammates can save you. Plus his traps reopen, take a long time to disarm, and injure you if you disarm them. He's not too bad off; if anything, the thing that might hinder him the most is Trapper Sack, since he can't relocate his traps once placed.
