I might try that lol. I don't mind "sweat" but they bm quite often. I need more time with crossplay tho because I just recently started after not playing for a year. Most of my playtime was on ps pre crossplay.
By sweaty I was referring to them standing far enough away from your hook that BT doesn’t activate but close enough that they can snipe you with a Hatchet, hitting you on the hook over and over, following your downed body and just swinging over it watching you bleed out lol. This is my usual Huntress experience if they manage to hook / down me. Whenever I hear that lullaby I know it’s time to bring my A game. 😂

also how can you counter it in a chase with the added vault speed?
I predominantly play as stealth killers and I have no issue countering Spine Chill. You don’t have to moonwalk everywhere, but it’s blatantly obvious when somebody is using it, so once I’m approaching the generator I know they’re on, I aim my camera more towards the side so that they don’t get the prompt I’m looking in their direction and it always catches them off guard.
The 6% vault speed increase isn’t even that good unless you pair it with Resilience and even then it’s not a guarantee you’re vaulting without being hit.
With some of the perk combos that get abused in this game, I’m surprised people are actually complaining about Spine Chill. 🤡

You’re not wrong. Most Huntress players I go against are sweaty af, but for some reason whenever I play as shirtless David they give me the hatch more or they’ll just stand and nod at me lol.

Good point. Especially given how much of a pain the grind is in this game. I would love being able to get the blood on more cosmetics. At least that way, it’s just a cosmetic and it isn’t giving you any advantage.

I have more issues with my teammates neglecting to do totems than I do with killers bringing NOED. I’ve had plenty of matches where I’ve cleansed 4 totems, haven’t been hooked once and still get hit by NOED and left to die. If I can cleanse 4 totems, why can’t 3 other people manage to cleanse 1 totem between them?
I know on some maps totems can be harder to find / see than others but I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen a survivor repairing a generator next to a clearly visible totem and they’ll repair it and then run off. DO THE BONES PEOPLE.
I went through a phase of always using Detective’s Hunch because in solo lobbies you just can’t assume you have competent teammates with you.

I went against a Freddy last night using that add-on and also the one where everybody starts the trial asleep. He got gen rushed so hard and only got 5 hooks. Poor guy was definitely bringing Devour Hope, Make Your Choice, Haunted Grounds and a Mori next game. 😂

I just don’t like selfish people and I think that’s what it boils down to. I have had matches where I got every hook save and I mean every hook save and then the entire team leave me to die on my first hook as they’d rather open a gate and sit inside to teabag.
I can’t even tell you how many times I’m the only survivor to die but I’m at the top of the board for points lol.

Welcome to hard-core dead by daylight. Where every match the game is sweaty. Pro killers, and gen rushing survivors. These survivors are a-holes. And killers don't bother giving hatch as they been bullied so many times.

My answer is welcome to the DBD. Sadly solo queques are not that organized and many survivors are really random and self centered. I mostly play solo survivor when I can and I can say that it is quite self centered. It will mostly cost the match unless they re really good. I understand your pain.
Solo survivor is definitely an interesting experience but I feel like it made me a strong player because I’ve had to become sufficient in every area as I can’t rely on the teammates I get. 😂

They wanted to rush gens so that they can escape. Most of the survivors that I play againts are usually stay injured, rush the gens and then by the use of Adrenaline perk get the full health and escape. Oh I understand staying injured to save time and I often play like that. That’s why I always use Iron Will. But in some matches I feel like I have to be healed because nobody is going for the unhook in the basement etc and I would rather be able to take a hit after getting the unhook than going straight down. I just don’t get why they want me to heal them but don’t return the favour? They sit at the hook waiting for me to heal them and then run off.
I’m good at being stealthy and looping so I don’t mind being injured, but like I said, there are games where it’s beneficial to be healed. I had an Oni match and I kept healing people but nobody would heal me. A huge counter to Oni is not bleeding everywhere. 😂

Ash - I absolutely love the Evil Dead series and Bruce Campbell in general.
Adam - I’ve always wanted to visit Japan and I love that he moves there to become a teacher. I really enjoy his perks too.
Jeff - I relate to him the most. I like that he tends to keep himself to himself and puts his focus into art and music. Extremely similar to how I am. Also adore his tattoos and overall aesthetic.
Jane - I love that she has a ‘fuller’ frame and brought something different to the female roster. Her voice acting is great and makes me laugh. Love playing as this queen.
Michael: Halloween is my favourite horror movie and Michael is my favourite slasher icon, so playing as him was always a no brainer for me. I love how his power represents him so well and the diversity you can achieve with different add-ons.
Demogorgon: Big Stranger Things fan and he’s such a good boy. I love his overall gameplay and successfully landing a Shred attack is so much fun. I think he’s one of the most fun killers to play as and against.
Deathslinger: I play a lot of shooting games and I like feeling like I’m no longer playing DBD. Seeing the gun on your screen is just so cool to me. I know a lot of people hate versing him, but sorry ain’t sorry.
Clown: I love his aesthetic as who doesn’t love a clown? And I find his power to be extremely powerful. I like being able to end chases fast with him. 🤡

Seriously though, I was in the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) when I was a teen, back in the before time when you had to bring your PC to a friend's house to play online with them. Since everyone is supposed to have a persona, and a persona needs a name, I was told I could choose what my name was. As someone who always hated his legal name, that was a revelation. I spent over a year deciding what I would be called. 20+ years later and I still like my choice.
You definitely picked a great name. It just rolls off the tongue so well. It has a cinematic feel to it, plus it’s unique which is always a plus.

GoodBoyKaru is slightly more complex so here we go.
'Karu' is the nickname of a character I made to help myself cope with some of the ######### I was going through, and his full name is one of two things- either 'Karuma' (which is Japanese for Karma), or 'Karuna' (which is the Buddhist idea of 'compassion'). Basically, he was someone who'd always be compassionate to other people, but would be the karma of sorts for the people that wronged him, by being successful and better than the people who'd put him down. He was better than the other people and he'd show them. I'd go through scenarios in my head and think "What would Karu do?" and try my best to emulate that, to try and make myself be a better person.
Eventually, I adopted the persona online, trying to be the best person I could be there too. It helps me feel safer, too, playing a character who's like me irl but just... better.
The 'GoodBoy' part is both what I aspire to be- good- and also just a nice lil' bit I like to have at the start of it. It just sounds nice, and I like being called it.
Then there's Karu_TC which I don't use on these forums but I do elsewhere and this is simpler. Cheers' name used to be CheersTC, and to help honour him and make sure I never forget I put TC on the end of my name, Karu. Unfortunately on Twitch, KarUTc was taken and so KaruTC wasn't allowed, so I added the underscore to make it work, and thus Karu_TC was born.
Then there's also Pope Of The Donkerydoo, but that's an inside joke between me and one of my friends that kinda spiraled out of control lol.

He's not even a real kpop artist tho, I truly don't get this fascination with Kpop, it's a bad immitation of american pop ideas from the 2000's, the lyrics often sound like they were written for some generic anime (which is also culturally oversaturated at this point, imo) and many of those groups are basically indentured servants.
Supportingthat infrastructure is like Disney filming in China while Weger muslims are being forced into labor camps and having their wives sterilized the next town over from production.

Body blocking isn’t reportable if you take a look at the official rules posted on this forum, however, holding a game hostage is.
If you were to trap a survivor in a room at the start of a trial and force them to stay there all game, that could be reported because you’re denying them the chance to take part. I also think that the other survivors could report you for being AFK, because if you’re just stood blocking a survivor all game, you technically are lol.

I love how all of my most used survivors are at the bottom of the list. I used to be a Meg / David main, but I was never toxic. The survivor I choose to play as doesn’t alter my gameplay.
I love seeing Jeff, Adam and Ash players in the fog as they’re my favourite boys.

Well, you're right but what I mean is, every killer does look creepy in their own ways, and if they don't, at least they look scary or disturbing. Trickster does fit the definition of a psycho in his lore, and his appereance is okay, it's just it doesn't really blend in like the other killers. The fact that he also doesn't have a map makes him look even more out of place.
A lot of serial killers / psychopaths actually don’t look scary or disturbing and that’s exactly how they lure in their victims. This is how Ji-Woon is. There’s plenty of serial killers who are described as CHARMING, such as Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer.
Would you be more likely to trust somebody who appears charming / attractive or somebody that looks scary / disturbed? Not every serial killer just lurks in the shadows and waits for people, a lot of them are invited into their victims homes.

I don’t know how many times I have to say that he’s supposed to represent a REAL LIFE serial killer. I find a narcissistic psychopath who made music out of his victims screams a lot scarier than Freddy Krueger, because Trickster is somebody who you could actually run into.
There’s so many different sides to horror and I love that we’re seeing that explored in game.
I love horror movies for the pure escapism they provide, but I never really find them scary. However, watching a true crime series is terrifying because they’re about people that actually exist. People just like Trickster.

Yh with my Ps4 i had the same problem. I talked with MandyTalk about it and she said she takes the info to the devs.
But right now its pointless to report Crossplay-players, when you cant get their Steam ID. So i stopped doing it and hope that some Pc-players do it.
So it’s pointless in me reporting them? I reported them in game and saved a video. But I don’t want to waste my time uploading it and sending it, if they can’t do anything without their Steam ID.

You need to send their steam id when you report. When you do, there is no chance that they will get the wrong person. When you dont, they cant do something against them anyway.
I’m on PS5 and they were a crossplayer so I don’t have access to that information. All I have is a video and a username leading to a Twitch that isn’t them.

I sweat a lot after the gym but I normally just take a shower. Excessive sweating though? Maybe see a doctor.
