Had this happen to me too some days ago. First i thought it was a hacker since he even started working on a gen like 10 seconds AFTER being downed. But since the gen also didnt got regression and nothing else weirdly happned i guessed it was just ping. Still made sure to get him out of the match asap.
EDIT: Was also a Dwight btw.
I assumed it was some sort of lag switch but he didn’t do anything but stand facing the wall, hide in lockers or get downed so I think his internet was just beyond terrible.
I just don’t know how you play online games with that ping. 🙈

I used to love running No Mither, Iron Will, Spine Chill and Resilience on P3 Claudette. It was fun being the ninja gen jockey. I might try it again today. 🤭

For killers, pretty much any of the laughs - Deathslinger, Huntress, Freddy. I also LOVE Huntress' little tantrum noise when she gets stunned, and I'm a big fan of Frank's stun noise too. Honorable mention: Bubba's almost-Tusken Raider noises.

What I find bad is that they messed up her neck. On one cosmetic she has a neck cosmetic on the head part and on this cosmetic the neck cosmetic is on the body part.
Both cosmetics are interchangeable but look weird in combination.

I found this annoying too. Luckily my favourite head cosmetic doesn’t look bad with the top. She’s wearing a necklace, but it goes under the neck tie so I can deal with it lol.

It is a locked cosmetic but there's one incredibly finnicky, annoying, and difficult to do way to break said set that I cannot discuss here because it breaks forum rules. But I've managed to detach the shirt so I'm trying (and failing) at the dress next)
Are you talking about The Goddess Muse set? Because that isn’t what my OP is about. Did you post a photo of it in your message? As all I can see is the BLACKPINK gif which is why I’m confused. The Summer Starlet cosmetic isn’t locked.

That's not helpful at all.
That’s an odd response.
That’s like saying you could know the killer is using Nurse’s or know where their Devour Hope totem is, you can’t communicate those things to your team either. That’s just how it is when you play solo.
As long as you know how to counter BBQ, that’s all you can really do. Playing with incompetent survivors is the risk you take.

Personally I found the combo of Tinkerer and Dark Devotion to work better, sure, it's two perkslots, but it has a high chance of startling survivors so much that it kinda doubles as a gen control perk in its own
I was actually using Tinkerer but hearing the explosion noises started to annoy me after a while, so I swapped it for something else lol. I haven’t tried Dark Devotion Slinger before, but I like the sound of that... 😏😈

They need to find some sort of middle ground between OG Freddy and current. OG was fun to play as but completely annoying to go against. Current Freddy has too many tricks up his sleeve and feels far removed from who Freddy is. The snares just don’t make sense for his character? Hopefully his upcoming rework gets him to a place everybody is happy with.

I honestly can’t wait to play as him and I’ve got a PS5 coming tomorrow so I’ll actually be able to enjoy this chapter with smooth frame rates lol.
Have you listened to the full version of his chase music? It’s so creepy. Especially when you hear the synthesised screams of his victims.

You don’t need them, but they’re fun to use. I always keep M&A on Deathslinger and Myers as I love getting jump scares on people. M&A is terrifying to face against them both as they just appear out of nowhere lol.

Generators can definitely be a problem with him depending on the map and the efficiency of the team you’re against. A lot of Slingers will use Corrupt Intervention and I understand why but I’m personally not a fan of perks that you don’t get to use all game.
I generally expect to lose 2/3 generators but I normally stall the game and start to snowball when I keep getting value out of BBQ and PGTW. If you’re able to down survivors fast during chases it’s so difficult for them to keep the pressure on the final generators.

People say they hate modern Freddy, but do they truly remember how annoying to play against old Freddy was?
Current Freddy is stronger but I’d rather face a strong killer over an annoying one.
Hearing the lullaby but never knowing where he was, oh look, I’m asleep now. Then you escape a chase only to remember he has infinite aura reading when you’re outside of his terror radius. Lemme just blow up this gen so he can’t see me because that won’t alert him of my whereabouts? He was such a pain in the arse lol.

That’s a really good build and I use the exact same one often, although currently I am using Nurses instead of STBFL as you can get some cool snipes on people. Especially because it’s paired with M&A.
Is there anything in particular you want advice on? I’m not saying I’m the best Slinger ever, but I play as him a lot and can consistently stay at Rank 1 when playing as him.

I’m not sure how they’ll ever be able to prevent this. If they change the struggle mechanic to be similar to the PH cages people will either go AFK after being unhooked or just DC.

He used to perform with knives to earn money, I’m assuming these are the same ones he now uses to kill with. Trickster later became his stage name. It makes sense to me.

It does not have a meaning anymore. It was originally used for what @hatchking has written, if the Killer is camping, wave your arms. But as you see in OPs post, they thought it means the entire opposite.
And because of that, I wave my arms when I am camped (nothing else to do), but I dont really pay any attention what other are doing, since most of them are not being camped. It has no meaning anymore, so I dont interpret it as camping or not camping.
I interpret it as “nobody is coming to get me” and 9/10 that’s what it means. At least it does in my games lol. If nobody is heading for me and I start waving, somebody normally gets off a gen to get me. So they understand why I’m waving my arms. I also leave my gen if somebody is on a hook and after a while start waving their arms as I’m assuming they’re asking for somebody to get them.

On Michael I use Monitor & Abuse, Bamboozle, BBQ and PGTW. For Legion I’m currently using Ruin, Undying, Thanatophobia and Bamboozle.

Having a vampire wouldn’t make sense in my eyes, because why would they be running away from the likes of Legion? They’re a vampire and I’m pretty sure they’d have some sort of supernatural strength. I like the idea of a vampire killer and a hunter as the survivor though.
Also, we already have Claudette. She’s clearly a shapeshifter, have you not seen her turn into a bush before?

An algorithm similar could entice killers to varying their playable killer.. at least me, once I get to red rank I only use my top 3... unless just for fun I use a lesser skilled killer which stops being fun when skilled survivors text "ez" after the game ends..
Your first 2 sentences contradict each other so much lol. It’s nothing to do with being a bad or good killer, but some people are better with other killers than others and that’s fine. People like different things. For example, I hate playing as Billy, Oni and Spirit. They just do nothing for me and I wouldn’t say I’m the best at them, but that doesn’t mean I’m a bad killer, because I can wipe out lobbies as Michael, Clown, Deathslinger, Legion, Demo and The Twins. Even though most of the killers I play as are classed as ‘low-tier’ I do well as them and I got to Rank 1 by playing them as I understand their strengths and how to utilise them.
To answer your second paragraph you shouldn’t need variation if you don’t want it. Not everybody wants to play as the entire roster and that’s fine. There’s some killers I just don’t have fun playing as, so why should I play as them?

This isn’t just a problem with DBD, I find it’s just how every multiplayer game is. As soon as you throw other people into the mix, things get complicated because a lot of the time, they’re in charge of whether or not you have a good time.
Something I started doing which actually really helps is to come up with my own secondary objective. For example, if I’m playing as Ghostface or Spooky Myers, how many gen grabs can I get? Or if I’m using Tenacity / Flip-Flop, how many times can I wiggle free? By doing this, you can find ways to feel satisfied even if you’re with or against people that are being killjoys.
I actually noticed I started winning more when I cared less about doing so, as I didn’t feel stressed about having to 4K / escape. It’s definitely a mindset that takes practise, but I always just say to myself “it’s just a game” and it really stops me from becoming titled. Killer face camps me at first hook? I just laugh nowadays. Survivors being useless? Again, I just laugh and go on about my business.

It's a bold design choice and i get that they were trying going for humor instead of creepiness, but it was obvious that it would please everyone. I think that they should give players a free cosmetic that made him a real scary killer so everyone could be happy. After all, some people may like his gameplay but don't want to buy the chapter and play as a character they don't see fit. I think it would be only fair since you are already spending some dollars.

I’m not sure how I feel about this to be honest and what defines a weak killer? Every killer in the game is strong, in the right hands. Are some easier to pick up than others? Sure. But my point still stands. Plus, if Michael, for example, is classed as a weak killer but I’m classed as a good survivor, would that mean I’d never go against him? As that would be awful. I love going against him and don’t want to be going against Spirit 24/7.

I honestly think he seems a lot stronger than Plague. You can literally deny Plague her Corrupt Purge and just loop her all game turning her into an M1 killer. At least with Trickster nobody can stop you from throwing knives. The fact he can down people around loops, whilst they’re vaulting and from a distance instantly makes him better than her in my opinion.
I don’t dislike Vommy Mommy but I’d never pick her over Trickster in terms of power.
