The patch 1.41 came out yesterday and it didn't fix the issue. If I revisit the timeline, I can safely say that I faced this issue 'few hours after the shrine update' when I played my first game of that day. That was the last change that happened to the game before that bug started appearing.

I'm guessing that maybe some in-game/in-lobby/in-menu action is forcing this issue out. But I don't remember doing anything. The first game I played that day, it's happening ever since.I have a few friends that doesn't have this issue. So I not sure what going on. I just wish a Dev or someone to address the issue. -

EDIT : It is now confirmed that many players are facing this issue, as more and more affected players are coming out and expressing their concerns. This issue seems to have only affected the PS4 players, since no xbox player has come forward to talk about this issue. We just want this issue to get noticed, and want a confirmation from the devs or the mods that they are aware of the issue and are working towards the fix. Kindly help us out.

Gen Tapping takes a very long time to fix a gen, if people are doing it solo. And at high ranks, I hardly see anyone do it. It's way easier to hit the skill checks. Lol.

Actually, you do not need to do that, it automatically disappears after 1-2 or 3 minutes. But the thing is that, I do not think this is intended. It never happened before, and it's causing annoyance and inconvenience to players since there's nothing one can do about it.Johncenasintern said:

Glad to know that I'm not alone. But it is still unfortunate. The lobby wait times are already bad and over that, we have this now. If any mod or dev here can acknowledge the issue it will be great. @not_Queen @Patricia_BHVR @McLean @Peanits

I'm sorry, but I don't like to be dependent on other survivors to heal me. Most of them are unreliable at rank 1.

If I were in the design team, I would make the survivors start the game on the hooks with 50% chance to kobe. Those who made it in, I would give the default power to the killer to Mori them. (Makes sense since they have been already hooked)

I don't think what he did is a crime. He had a doubt, and he used to forums to clear it. He did not name or shame anyone. Also, there are so many aspects to this game, it takes a while for a new player to understand the working of it. Things have become so complicated due to various balances the developers have made. I double checked - yes, they did with the J. Meyers Memorial add-on.
I also checked the times and at 22 seconds into the match, they got into Tier 2. At 1 minute 38 seconds they got into Tier 3 and their Ruin got ruined immediately after. I just wanted to be sure.
False alarm, I should have checked his add-ons. I am not familiar with Myer’s add-ons because I do not own him but I should have looked them up before pointing the finger.
Edit: He also said something about no-clipping which also lead me to believe he was cheating.
I thought he meant he was walking through walls and stuff. I only saw him like twice the entire match so I was not sure.
I guess it was my terrible team to blame for the whole debacle. I saw a Meg running around in the open.
Without knowledge of the killers and their addons, you made a ridiculous accusation, and are now blaming others for it.

Yes, it's rare. You get 1 to 4 upto level 50, starting from level 1. Escape cakes and survivor puddings are more common.

What's your rank? It also depends on your rank. If players within your region do not match the rank range, the game searches outside of region.

I don't think being a mod for the Dead By Daylight community is easy. You need to be mentally strong to be able to face trolls, toxicity on a daily basis. Filtering toxicity here is like exposing yourself to harmful radiation. I have great respect for the mods who actually do this job.

There's a difference between DCing and the game crashing. The game client clearly knows to differentiate between a dc and a crash, hence you recieve a crash report pop up. So no worries there. Issue comes when game cannot differentiate between a ragequit and a legit disconnection.

There's no need to change We're Gonna Live Forever, just like BBQ & Chili doesn't need to either. We don't have to keep asking to change how things works always. Feels unnecessary.
