What does “exhausted on the ground” mean? I hear that term from a YTuber a lot when dead hard fails for him.
-
Not a fan. Looks very nice visually, but it’s hard to see downed survivors. I’m always wondering if a killer has knockout if they don’t pick up a downed survivor right away. Also hard to see your traps as Trapper. If I have to play against Freddy, this is the map I want to play him on though. Dreamworld makes things much easier to see lol.

Doesn’t Prestige 3 take care of this?

Lets keep buffing killers so the lower ranks suffer and then killers get to ranks where they shouldn't be and then moan about killers not being viable.... when they are at higher ranks than they should be...devs then buff killers again when they moan.....its a vicious circle
what about the people that are yellow rank and above? You can't keep buffing killers to cater for high rank gameplay
You know I wouldn’t even say they’re buffing for higher ranks, because killers do fine in solo que red ranks. It’s the 3 & 4 SWF where killers struggle at. I feel like the buffs are to help killers combat that. But it kind of doesn’t matter because in the end, lower ranks get screwed over either way like you said.

I used to play immersed but just recently stopped as of two weeks ago. Asymmetrical horror games are my favorite genre and I enjoy the cat & mouse/hide & seek element. The tense thrill of trying to make it out the match undetected, but yet useful to my team was fun. But I’m over it now. Im slowly getting better at chases, so the new fun is doing my best to waste the killers time when it’s “my turn.” Running the killer for a min and a half then hearing two gens pop while getting downed actually feels good. Makes it feel worth it. So I have gen efficiency and safe hook rescue nailed down pact, and if I can get my chases to be more consistent, I’ll be a better overall player. I’m saying all this because some people will eventually grow out of playing immersed. It’s a phase. The important thing is not to confuse being immersed with being a coward. What you described going on in that basement sounds like cowards to me. I don’t even understand why both of them would be down there if there was no one was on hook being camped. There’s only one chest. Two people aren’t needed to open it lol. I don’t knock people for playing immersed cause I totally get it. But I will knock cowards and call em out for it. If I’m downed, on hook, or someone has kindred- and I see you crouched in the corner out of the killer’s terror radius crab walking back n forth, you'll get a flaming message by game’s end. And they’re doing it to get carried. Not a stealth killer. Too scared for their own good. The type that’ll open the exit gate with full health and just wait there while you are being chased by the killer, hoping they’ll leave so you can hear the hatch- since it’s evident they’re not coming to body block. Yea, F those guys.

Giving wraith more speed was a simple fix, but it fits his playstyle. They just made his most used addon (purple windstorm) basekit. So the only thing that changed is that people can now run one strong addon more.
His playstyle was always hit-and-run so the speed increase was neccessary.
But let’s be honest- because of the speed boost, no one does hit and run any more. Hell, I barely saw it before. Felt like only the top echelon of wraith mains did that. Once they hit you and you gain a speed boost, they just cloak, speed up to catch up to you, then mind game uncloaking followed by a hit. Also, when one thinks Wraith the first word that comes to mind is generally stealth. Now if you were asked about Blight or Billy, it would typically be speed. I just feel like they didn’t put much effort into buffing him properly- like they couldn’t be bothered. You could add speed to any killer and call it a “buff.” If he becomes more popular, I can see him irritating casuals. Me personally, I don’t have fun playing against him. I didn’t even like going up against him before.
-
Mettle of man- it was OP at launch, but the nerf seriously neutered it. They should have went middle of the road on that. Take away the aura reading part by the killer- that’s stupid. Doesn’t make sense. Have it require 2 protection hits- not 3, and tokens would be awarded only if the survivor had at least been hooked once prior.
-
Personally I think giving Wraith more speed was a lazy fix. It doesn’t fit in with his character/play style. I feel like they should have played more to his stealth. His heavy footsteps and snarls should have been removed. The distance thing for his cloak was a good idea, however. His speed add-on for when cloaked should’ve been buffed to what his max speed is now, as a default. Wraith mains never had trouble against the general public before the buff, but I can see SWF’s being a problem for him. I imagine they still are, since some feel like he could have used more of a buff.
-
BW shouldn’t alert the survivors until they are at the very end of the exit (like when a killer approaches the very end). That way they will trigger the aura reading for the killer and he’ll have time to come over and corner them. Letting them see it outside the doors takes away its value. Especially in this day and age of 99ing. BW should be high risk, high reward.
-
Lmao is that what i was hearing in my last game?! I was like ######### is that sound?? I thought my phone started playing a YouTube vid or something via Bluetooth into my headset lol. Thanks!

You're wasting four peoples time when you DC or suicide. The 15 minutes it took to "queue" in to that game, and the 10-15 minutes or so the game takes. 30 minutes wasted for four other people, because you were too salty to play the game you chose to play.
Yea, you didn't read the OP properly either. I gave an example and explained exactly what happened. There is no way you read that, comprehended it, and still post what you just posted. Do you not understand I was farmed and killed? What was the point of that?? I died any way. At least let us the player, make that decision. My beef is not with the killer. It’s with the coward teammates who farm you out of stupidity. Points, or both. How would you have felt if that was you? Do you call that fun- getting a gen to 97% BY YOURSELF, only to see your teammates crab walking- purposely not doing anything because they’re scared?? Then after you’re hooked you’re farmed off, then hooked again. When you watch the remainder of the match, they both die almost instantly. That’s acceptable right? Thats fun to you, right? Farming people is not selfish? Please let me hear you spin an excuse out of this. I’m not talking about those jerks who quit because they were the first one caught, or they don’t like the killer chosen. I’m talking about teammates who refuse to TRY and play the game, and come running to farm you off the hook. Which makes no sense, because safe hooks give you more points. And I don’t want to hear anything about DS because I addressed it 3 times already in this thread.

So you want to quit the match because survivors crouch instead of saving you, but skipping two skillchecks is not fast enough because they manage to save you in that time?
Seems like your goal is ruin games to other players as fast as possible and you upset because you don't have this opportunity anymore.
I quited playing survivor side because of teammates that can't handle being hooked once. Playing with survivors like this is much worse than playing with ones that heal in the corner with selfcare everytime they can. Survivors that urban-evading every time they scared will learn how to play eventually. Survivors that dc or suicide just looking for easier matches. You don't get better teammates until you become a good teammate yourself.
Yea, you didn’t read the OP properly at all. I gave an example. How can I ruin a game for others when I was the only one working towards an objective, got farmed, then killed out the game?? What’s the point of staying in a game to get farmed by players who aren’t doing anything?? I am truly baffled by your thought process. Is this what you do? Farm people and expect them to just accept it so you can have points?? Thats selfish and you’re ruining the game for those getting hooked.

No. I'm sorry but I am tired of matches where people throw on the hook because they are salty.
At least now Survivors have a chance to save them & get some BP before the toddler gets a chance to quit the game via hook.
And I also get the chance for any perks I have running stacks, like Devour Hope. Nothing pisses me off more like running DH and some angry child decides 'I got hit too fast! Let me just hook-quit!' and then; no more stacks from them!
Yea i know it sucks as killer, but it sucks even more when you have two idiots hiding not doing anything. In the example i gave, I was able to get the gen i was working on from 0 to 97%, because he spent all that time trying to find the other two who were doing nothing. When he came back to the first gen he checked (which was the one i was working on), he found me and it almost done. Then he downed and hooked me, was heading for the only one he saw with barbecue but came right back and downed me again after i was farmed. He hooked me again and ONLY because of barbecue, he found someone then rinsed and repeated to get the last. That entire time not one teammate went on a gen. Fun times eh?

Nah, survivors shouldn't be trying to kill themselves on the hook anyway. If it's such a problem for you maybe you should slot decisive strike.
You’re missing the point- we shouldn’t have to run the same perk every game to try and counter. If a killer wants to tunnel, he’ll tunnel through the DS. I use different builds for all the characters. If your teammates are playing like crap, no one should be forced to remain in the game with them. And I’m talking about players who are not even trying. Straight cowards. Not those who are immersive, that’s different. They try.

@deckyr said:

It’s not fast enough. I already addressed it in the OP. Gives farmers more time. The old mechanic had an animation that still wasn’t perfect, but it was much quicker.

@Seraphor said:
There's no reason to make rage-quitting easier.
I can't count the number of times I've gone to save someone only to have them kill themselves on hook because they're salty. Screwing the team over, probably resulting in other deaths when we could have escaped, and robbing me of altruism points.
You queued for the game. Play it.
Why should we be held hostage in a terrible match when we ARE playing the game and our teammates are crouching in corners, too scared to do anything? I gave you an example. Cmon now. That’s not fun for us. Let us “que” up for another match with teammates that are actually trying. You want to play hide and go seek, that’s your business. I’m not trying to stay in that match with you.

I obviously know that killer for the resident evil chapter has already been decided and it is likely a more iconic character, but, because of how similar a power the sisters would have to two already powerful killers I want to explore that. So here was my idea for what it might be:
The Witch Sisters
Name: Bela, Cassandra, and Daniela Dimitrescu
Height: Average
Speed: 4.0 m/s | 100%
Terror Radius: 16 meters
Power:
Daughter of Evil:
Ability: Mist Form
Press and hold the Power Button to enter Mist Form. After entering Mist Form (instant; no charge), the Witch becomes a cloud of ash. While in Mist Form, you move at 10.0 meters per second or 250% movement speed and hear a constant wind that covers all other noises.
All sounds and loud noise notifications made by survivors and objects are muted while in Mist Form and all scratch marks are hidden, however all blood pools are more visible. Besides blood pools, all other objects are less defined and vision within Mist Form is limited and unfocused.
While in Mist Form, the Witch can phase through vault points and dropped pallets without any speed or charge penalty. However, doing so instantly pushes the Witch out of their power for 5 seconds; during which, the Witch does not recharge any charges towards Daughter of Evil.
The Witch can be in Mist Form for a maximum of 10 seconds before being pushed of their power (1 charge per second). The Witch can cancel at any time and re-enter their Mist Form as long as the Witch has charges.
Special Attack: Mist Strike
Press and Hold the Secondary Power Button to charge Mist Strike. Once charged (2 seconds), press the Attack Button to attack using Mist Strike. The Witch will lunge 12 meters in one direction at a speed of 12 m/s or 300%, partially in her Mist Form, phasing through ALL obstacles and injuring all survivors along that path. After which, the Witch is fatigued for 3 seconds. Using Mist Strike does not take any charges.
A/N: Yes they are basically if Spirit and Nurse were one killer, lol. Thanks for reading.
I like this a lot but only one problem....
{SPOILER}
Ormond lol

6th time?! Bro I’m still on my first play through, taking baby steps! You’re a die hard fan. Nice. I’m hoping one of the daughters will be the killer. Probably best to have the third one. She has the most personality. Having Ethan as a survivor would be kind of cool, seeing him in 3rd person for a change. But to answer your question, yes- i think there’s a good chance.

Good point. I forgot about that. That was never fun. Someone once told me if any player was searching through a chest while in struggle, it would mess your timing up. I saw it with my own eyes, twice- but I don’t know if that was actually the cause. Once i went into a chest, the other time it was me on hook and i saw a teammates aura trying to search a chest. This was before the animation was changed to trying to jimmy it open.

Lol you farm don’t you? J/k I use different builds and play with all the characters. I shouldn’t have to use decisive strike every single game. Besides, I saw a doctor tunnel a teammate with BT & DS right out the game, a couple days ago. If my teammates want to be cowards and hide, I should be able to opt out of continuing to play with them. In the example i gave they were not noobs- just farming cowards.

But that is something that simply cannot go away. Mobility is extremely important, especially nowadays with the whole "pre-drop pallets and hold W meta".
It was one of the buffs Old Freddy needed and it is something that cannot be touched.

Bad, or guilty? I feel guilty after melting players in Overwatch with Bastion for a win. 😝

Yea it’s his teleporting/map control that makes him so strong. His power synergizes really well with a lot of perks. His amount of pallets and dream snares was not the problem. It’s his ability to to gatekeep gens. I’m struggling to think of another killer who can do it better. Maybe Doc?

Like the title says. When this rework was first announced I knew this was going to be a headache. It’s only been a week and I’m mentally EXHAUSTED from all the stupid farming (especially without Borrowed Time) after a hook or in the killer’s face. This is ridiculous. Farming was a problem before, it’s even worse now. If it can’t be reverted, at least give the option to submit to the entity. Give the killer extra points for that if you have to. But to be pulled off hook by so many asshats in this community, only to give them points and get downed again is infuriating. I definitely understand & can appreciate the convenience factor of not having to keep hitting the space bar, X, or A button. But there is a lot of us in this community that can’t stand being farmed, so please meet us half way.
I just had a game where there was 3 of us left with one gen to go. We all were on death hook, but i was the only one doing a gen. I get it to 97% when the killer found me and downed me. I look around and see these two a holes crouched in corners. One is fairly close by. I see what’s about to happen a mile away, and like clockwork- I get hooked then farmed off without borrowed time. I had let one skill check pass and waited for what seemed like forever for another one to skip, but alas- it never came as i watched this jerk running towards me with BP logos in his eyes.
Killer comes after me even though he injured the bum, and I’m further away. Eventually i get downed again, and killed. I’m dead and I have a considerable amount of more points than the other two who were alive. Eventually they both die. Fun times. Enough is enough. Fix this #########.
Sorry, I was the only one not on death hook. It was my second. No edit button? Lol

You responded to my comment, not the other way around. You’re very negative btw- almost angry like because others have a difference of opinion. I noticed you calling others “entitled,” as well. Try to be more positive. Like I said before, move on- this was just an idea and it’s not even going into the game. It’s not that serious.
-
Unbelievable. No offense but glad to see it’s not just me who encounters nonsense like this with matchmaking. Unbelievable.

I hate that map. It’s killer sided because totems are hard to find and gens in the back tend to be within very close proximity of each other. Easy to 3 gen if you’re not careful.
-
Yea i agree as well. I always end up asking myself is the killer running knockout?? Lol
-
Call me a masochist, but nurse and spirit. Especially before they were reworked. I respect the effort and skill to use them effectively, unlike insta down characters. I’m not the best at looping, so the few times I’m able to engage in a long chase with them & get away, it feels good and it’s fun. And I don’t mean the bad ones either. Now as far as the godlike rank 1’s go- yea they suck to go against cause they land a hit after every phase and blink. I don’t run into those too often, so i just take my medicine and move on.
-
He definitely is the most annoying killer in the game- ill give you that. Thank goodness he’s not popular any more. I can tolerate him more now.
