Isn't 9% from resilience and spine chill has actually 15%? Can't remember both having the same value.
Spine chill 9% and Resilience 9% too, so basically a good 18%

Well without trying to not spoil stuff from the second movie, one might take a look at the ending again and then we know why it wouldn't work. The Entities trial and playground would be IT's downfall. It would probably end up the same way it happened in the movie. Of course there is the off-chance the two entities may work out a way to work together and the entity would help IT as sort of a symbiosis, but how likely would that be?
i dont think coherence is the key word to add killers lmao
but ok, i guess if they care about the lore they would have to tweak it

We have 2 chainsaws. We have multiple killers who put traps on the floor. We have many killers who lead normal lives until certain events. But 2 killers looking like clowns that have no other connection to one another is where you draw the line?
I'll admit Bubba and Hillbilly are lost brothers yeah
however, i wouldnt say Hag and Trapper are based around the same design concept
so yeah i still draw the line at 2 clowns ?

Also the survivors could perhaps be kids with a crying face or adults wearing the animatronics mask in fnaf 4 like freddy, chica, bonnie, and foxy
they said they would not use children

So I’m guessing you guys want a Fortnite chapter?
what is this comment ? People can not like the idea, yeah. Dont make it like "oh you guys are 10 year olds who only play Fortnite and you just want fortnite everywhere uh"
no that's just that : the two games are way too different, it wont happen, and it would be pretty bad anyway.

I'd love to see more emotes, as long as they're within the spirit of the game and implemented to aid communication between survivors. Something like "be careful", "good idea/good job/thanks" or "don't do that".
You have to be careful putting stuff like this in the game, because you don't want to encourage players to abuse emotes as taunts.
True, a "dont do that" emote would be great (Haunted Ground totems why would you break them when there's clearly no other hex)
Like, I totally imagine your character making a cross with their arms to say "NO"
emotes should stay relevant, not end up being taunts
-
Isnt that already built-in in every killers ? I think it's called "auto-aim" and sometimes, it triggers randomly as a downside, which denies you hits
a strong built in talent, but a big downside, perfectly balanced
-
Legion is fine now let them be happy in the non-spirit rate of kills
they dont need a rework, give them a slight buff sometimes and they'll be fine. i dont get why people are still crying about them when Spirit still doesnt have phasing clues, Cannibal and Hillbilly still share the same addons, and Clown exists

After playing some more games with the nurse I'm wondering if the changes were meant to keep people from learning to use her and chase off a lot of the old veterans to push down her numbers. Think about it, the base changes are so severe that if you're trying to learn blink attacks you'll spend almost all of the match in blink recovery; everything is so slow that it doesn't feel worthwhile or rewarding to put up with for the 100+ hours she takes to learn. Even then the payoff is fairly meh unless you do everything perfectly all the time, which is impossible. A good amount of it too feels like they had no ideas for addons so they made some of the changes require them. On another level I'm wondering if nurse actually was that good or if that was just accepted as concensus, I play on console and before the changes she was really hard to use but learning blinks wasn't half as unfun as it is now
Nurse has always been pretty bad on console if I believe what people talk about on it (like Billy for example, who's a great killer on pc)
But Nurse is very fine when you know her, and it didnt change after the rework, she's still extremely strong *when you play her well* which is the problematic here : when do you want to train your nurse now that there's no more real rank reset to do that and play random killers you want to train/who are not really viable without sweating ? I think it's the real problem here, people cant learn Nurse anymore without having to unrank a lot because of the new rank reset system, which makkes everyone think she was terribly nerfed, which isnt the case at all
-
Ranks doesnt mean anything
but after December's Rank Reset it became completely useless
-
that would have been fun lol, but while the queues would be instant, the matchmaking would be hellish
but would have been really fun

It would not if it would work differently, like just make all BP you get during the game doubled, so you can farm stuff faster. I know it sounds bad, but it is an example. Or maybe it could raise this stupid 8k BP limit, which I don't know why it exists yet.
exists so killer and survivor wouldnt spend 10 hours running in front of each other to get a million chase bloodpoints
-
I like the idea but as a Demo main, being able of just going through portals forever in front of the two exit gates feel very bad.
Same with removing the ability of tracking, it's actually a very powerful way to use the portals, like using the portals during the chase (it's like teleporting during chases with Freddy, it's confusing, but it works !)
So I'm against it, it would make Demogorgon uncounterable in endgame, and really bad during the match.

I don't want No Mither to be viable. I want it to be hard mode perk as it is now. I just wonder why devs won't add BP bonus to it. This change wouldn't make No Mither worse or better, but could make people actually want to use it more.
yeah but it would overlap with WGLF like I said
-
@LOA said:
No mither needs a built in Reslience 3, Iron Will 3, Unbreakable 3, and that crap perk that let's you crawl away faster. And it will still be Trash. Just a meme perk.
No mother 😭
But seriously imagine running Object of Obsession with No Mither and something like Diversion lmao
The memest build ever
-
Because No mither is trash ?
I dont know, they should really give it a strong upside, just being able of recovering from dying state feels bad as Unbreakable exists
I guess everyone here is favorable to a rework of that perk. But more BPs wouldn't be the solution to me, WGLF exists already after all, and is also part of David's perks
-
Nah, farming is either :
playing nice with everyone so everyone get bloodpoints/dailies/challenges done and just basically have fun without any pressure or normal gameplay
or in the case of "farming unhooks" it's just unhooking someone in a very bad situation that lead them to their death.
So, none of them are bannable, it's just people having either fun, either just making a mistake (i dont think a lot of people unhook survivors just for the points)

I'm giving a context : Billy downs someone, he is really happy about it, but he knows there is a flashlight gamer right behind him, he hits the survivor, and now the two others start coming after him too, now he tries to pick up the dying survivor, but that Ash heals him, he hits, aaaand endurance kicks in. Billy lost his down, and wont get another one to save it.
Billy is very bad at the game.
@Waffleyumboy gave a context where it can seem unfair

That's an interesting take, I like the idea of a borrowed time for dying survivors, but the problem is : what if the whole team is annoying a killer who didnt plan on slugging at the beginning ? he gets punished for hitting a survivor he worked on getting down for no reason ? that would be quite unfair no ?

I already used it 1 month and that 9% is nothing to me.
You will most likely not be able to use that 9% cause probably if the killer is looking at you're direction him is going to chase you.
And that's the why, im not a stealth player, and most people that use spine chill, if their perk activates for 1 milisecond they go in a locker and stay there 1 minute.
That's why people say is a noob perk
Yeah dont worry i hate too when that Claudette starts panicking every ten seconds and go hide in a corner.
But "9% is nothing to me" wow, this is such a wrong statement, 9% is huge, not especially for gens sure, but to vault, it's awesome, it denies a lot of hits. Combine it with Resilience and the killer will never catch you at a window.
-
@FireHazard said:
A lot of people still use Borrowed Time. I'd argue that the perk is still one of the most used meta perks in the entire current meta.
The only two Killers that can negate this effect insanely well is Myers and GhostFace. Wraith has to uncloak when he gets there, and Pig doesn't have enough time to crouch if it's something like a basement unhook, and most Pigs don't really crouch mid-unhook to avoid BT... since you might not have BT and it's a general waste of time.
The reduced time doesn't really do much of anything, since most Killers don't care and will still swing at the injured Survivor anyways. Some Killers don't even swing at them first, making it easier to down them if it's something like the basement... but for the most part, Killers that don't camp or Tunnel will not hit the unhooked Survivor anyways.
basically what i'm saying is...
BT is still pretty meta... people still use it a lot and especially in teams of 2, 3 or 4. It's a fairly good meta perk for a team and can really help in a lot of bad situations that causes the Killer to camp or tunnel the hooked Survivor.
It's also used a lot in Red Ranks still... so the buff isn't really needed at all. In my opinion, BT is fine.
There's also Freddy, if the unhooker has the bad idea to do it while sleeping
-
It's an anti-stealth killer perk too, but I personally think if it's "S-Tier", it's not because of the "ahah i know you're right there and im gonna run away/hide", it's because it gives a boost in repair, opening gates, healing, vaulting. Believe me. It's stronger than you think. I dont run it all the time but it's clearly a very strong perk
-
@SkeletalElite said:
Do what you want
I personally feel like I won when I get face camped.
I played well enough/got under your skin enough that you decided to practically throw the game just to make sure one guy dies all because he either 1) outplayed you or 2) pressed his crouch button a few too many times for your liking.
I'm not asking because I facecamp people
I'm trying to get them actually
because even when i got very annoyed by survivors (because they are making fun of me, which i hate, i dont dislike being against very good survivors), i dont facecamp, even in the worst situations, and get insulted and all in the postgame chat
maybe im too sensible to play this game lol.

As Fibijean said, you must of vaulted another window beforehand. For example, if you vault the shack window... it's blocked by the Entity. But if you vault another window when that Entity blocker is still active, it'll remove the entity blocker on the original window you vaulted (I.E. the Shack window)
That's kind of the only way they'd still vault the window when Bamboozle is active... that or the blocker ran out or they vaulted it before you blocked it.
Or it could be bugged, but I haven't heard anything about that so...
It could be because of dedicated servers, just like the times the entity blocks the window at the fourth vault and not 3rd

A purely random example: "Unnerving Presence on Trapper totally counters the basics of his Power cause blablabla..."
Furtive chase on Ghostface
A stealth killer that gets a perk to minimize his terror radius
when you think already of how much Furtive Chase is useful in normal times...
That and the teachables of Demo / Huntress, they are pointless on her, all of them (maybe not Surge)
-
dont see why it would be op. It takes 2 perks, they lose a stack every time they hit, and they will only have 1 purpose the whole game, and at a moment, you'll get that you just have to not stun them (if you dont get on the first change of obsession).
Well, yeah if you start just stunning them every ten seconds and they got noed on sure now it starts getting scary.
-
well, that's a bubba for you.
-
I think Badham, Sanctum of Wrath and Gas Heaven are the best as the main building is usually where the basement spawns, there is no god windows, and it's enough around everything you need to protect. Also very dangerous as you cant escape easily from those ones (Badham in particular)

When you realise they are out of range just cancel your power and walk to where you saw the aura's
More often then not they will still be around there and your power will be back by then
If you run halfway across the map in your power for no reason isn't Legion being bad but you misplaying
The fact that survivors have the option to heal is a good thing, if they waste time like that they are not doing gens
And while Legion does have to injure survivers themself instead of passivily they ussually can injure everyone waaay faster then Plague can
Yeah but survivors have to cleanse to heal against Plague
...which basically means : death.

I think that Legion is REALY underrated
@Ksoni said:
I got to rank 1 playing Legion only with no add-ons. He's really underrated.
It's not that they's underrated, you can go pretty much wild with every killer if you play them a lot. But there's a difference between the killers because at how much you'll have to be sweaty to finish a match.
So yeah, I love Legion too, and I usually 4k, and they's fun, but clearly, they's bottom tier. (Clown is worst tho.)
-
Freddy is a S-Tier too btw

Clown is clown tier, but before, Legion too was Clown tier, I'm glad for them they moved into "It's complicated" (that sounds edgy) tier

No it isn't like old nurse at all. She isn't the best. It is like a reverse spirit situation against good survivors, there really is no upside to being good with her and i do play her and do good with her. The hassle is not worth it by a longshot, you can have way more fun playin any other killer but doc/legion.
Doc and Legion are fun ? to me the only unfun killer right now is Oni because of the nerf he took (and Clown when you start struggling as hell)
but nurse is still the strongest, even if Spirit is really close until they give her a phasing clue.

It doesn’t affect her lullaby either.
didnt know that, well thanks for answering this third question then

@Endstille said:
Nah do not waste your time. There is no reward for being good with nurse, even when you 4k it isn't fun. The killer isn't the best anymore.
You can do the same with other killers so don't bother.
She's still the best, she's just extremely harder to play. But once you get her to a good level again, it's all like old Nurse or almost
-
@GrootDude said:
Insidious doesn’t affect lullabies and I’m not certain on your stbfl and mad grit question.
Does it mean Huntress cant use Insidious ? Sorry, I never use it since it's basically... Useless unless you're camping. Especially since they changed deep wound
-
Oh yeah, basically :
- They reworked all her add-ons, so no more Omega Blink Nurse
- They reworked her blinks so you can't blink 2 times, then immediately blink 2 times again, you must recharge the blink
It didnt nerf her that much. She's still the strongest. But now her skill cap is even higher and higher so basically, 90% of the Nurses who played "correctly" are now very bad, but those who played her very well just play as good as before, she's still very viable.
So : train your new Nurse. Nothing more to say, sorry
-
@Poochkips said:
Title says it all. Goes for both killers and survivors. When you win, you say gg. When you lose, you're probably dead silent. I'm sure this doesn't apply obviously...but do you often say gg?
I always say gg when I had an healthy game, that means a match where people were not being toxic (cf hard tunnel/tea-bagging to make fun of you/facecamping/noed lmao, best perk ever/mori cuz obviously i'm not going to wait ten minutes in the postgame chat)
-
No, if there's a ranking system in the game it's only to make matchmaking better, if there wasnt any new player could get against 6,000 hours players. Plus, people could play in that mode to be the most annoying possible with facecamping and all, since they are half of the time de-piping when they use that strategy. There is no way to make an healthy not ranked mode on that game sadly (except custom game but ya know)
-
Are we having this discussion again ?
Half of the community think Ruin is unhealthy to the game, the other one think it's needed, but i dont think it would be the best idea to reconciliate everyone to make it built-in for every game, and would punish new survivors so much harder, it will make them drop instantly. Think of the lower ranks that struggle every time Ruin is in the match, not only those 4-men swfs that hit perfectly each skillcheck that appears on screen even under madness 3.
This is, definitely, not, a good idea. Plus it would bore so much people out of the game to make every game like this, toolboxes become kinda useless under Ruin you know.
Cool for you if you think you need Ruin in every of your matches, but dont forget some people play Freddy with slow down add-ons, Thana, Dying Light, Ruin and Pop. Imagine if they could slap NOED with that, they would.
-
tho it's hard to analyze if you deserve or not that de-pip without seeing the match itself
-
@GrootDude said:
So I was chased most of the game, got hooked twice did half a gen then escaped, why should I de-pip for that?
Chase emblems are completely broken, I got chased for like 5 minutes during a game, and only got bronze because the killer never lost chase and downed me in the end
-
I suppose Lery's is the map that gets a rework because they are reworking Doc, and I'm all in to get a Badham treatment of Lery's, but Haddonfield/Coldwind are way more unbalanced maps.
Does that mean we will have to wait Billy's rework to get a better Coldwind ?

Personally, I loved a lot of things but Hawkins is my favorite map of the game, both as survivor because there is so much ways to play inside, and as killer because it's a fair map for both the sides. Also loved all the new killers (until Oni died) and a lot of cool cosmetics (BILL GOT HIS FIRST COSMETIC), plus a lot of necessary balancing was done (like balanced landing, spirit, nurse, and freddy [even if now he needs to be a bit nerfed]) and the archives and the rift are promising, if they learn from the mistakes they did during the first one.
basically the only downside for me is the events being well, disappointing. But im totally fine with sacrificing the events for a while if it can make the game better next year.
