what are they doing dude. i just want to play the game and now its lobby sim again -___-
I don't know about you, but for me it was more like a lobby simulator with the new matchmaking system so I'm quite happy it got reverted.
Don't forget that perfection does never come in 1 go, it requires multiple tries.
-
I've noticed a tremendous increase in tunneling and camping after the new emblem system went live. Despite killers getting punished for these tactics it still seems to be a high favored tactic by many. Wonder if they still pip from it, wouldn't be too surprised.
-
Joined when they just made the forum because they posted it on the Steam page or something if i'm not wrong.

There actually is a bug ingame that allows you to spectate the killer. Have noticed it multiple times now after inspecting when the last person got sacrificed.

Jane got her wig snatched. Spirit was too embarrassed because of her floating hair, so she wanted to cover it up.
For real tho, yeah, that sucks. I really like Jane and her design. Memes aside, I do like thicc-er characters.
Spirit cant handle that her hair is a mess but Jane manages to always keep it good no matter the circumstances

Just fix generators. Usually don't want to waste my time trying to do a unhook when I could aswell be fixing generators and assuring the rest can escape.
-
Lucky you. Survivor doesn't take as long for me (up to 2 minutes mid day, but in the morning around 10 minutes) while killer takes... 30 minutes lol. I usually am able to watch a whole episode of something on Netflix.

Her forearms are freakishly large. Those hands look beefy too.
They gave her the back form of a skinny chick and the front form of a chubby with the legs of a thicc chick.
I find her body oddly shaped too, but I like her in general so it's not too important though from the perspective of this screenshot I just don't know how where all the love for Jane comes from and if that's how it's supposed to be. She's not looking... like, too good.

Matchmaking system seems fine so far though? I only get people in my lobby that are basically the same rank as me.
I agree on the emblem system. I think they request and expect a bit too much now, especially in red and purple ranks. Think they should find a balance between the old and current emblem system so that in order to save pip atleast, a survivor does not necessarily have to have a perfect game, but is required to contribute quite a lot in the trial. It's weird how it's only about doing a lot. If you as a killer or survivor can completely dominate the opponent it will result in quick matches. You'd say those people would pip because their skill level is better than the average in the rank they are. But no, it usually results in a depip, and if lucky, a safety pip. Weird system.

@JoannaVO You are expecting way too much from survivor mains :v
Because I'm one myself too and know that it's not that hard, if you just use the right mindset. Though, I only expect this from purple and red ranks since they are quite experienced with the game.

@JoannaVO And how exactly are you supposed to know if somebody is going for the unhook if you can't, ya know...see them?!
By staying on the generator until the person is close to going to the next stage or if a person is injured
-
People adapted to Legion and you don't hear them as much about it anymore. So, the topic title is kinda outdated :-). People make topics on how people disconnect against or cry about Legion, but the only thing where you'll hear this is in those topics. In-game people seem to disconnect much less against the Legion now, yay.

Clown has a nice belly

Just like most top tier killers, if you want to see why they are top tier you have to go against one that is very experienced with that killer. Billy can instantly down people with his chainsaw and has a good and fast mobility that could really help him apply loads of map pressure. I suck as Billy though.

no one needs the meg one, give us kates cosmetic
This oufit for Kate is a no-go though.

So the chance of people seeing this topic before seeing the one with a update that is related to everyone is that big you think? :P

Glad I'm not the only one who expected it today. Really want the Meg outfit

How about you just use Thanatophobia

@JoannaVO I wouldn't say that. The amount of gens and unhooks is limited, so survivors compete for work = emblem points. If survs split the work fairly, nobody gets enough points for a pip in the high ranks. It works in the midranks but not in the red ranks where you need 13 points.
But as a survivor you should try anything to escape. That 's what I do atleast, screw pips. And if people feel like getting fast easy points by being altruistic instead of bothering their selves on generators then nobody in those teams has the right to cry about getting killed while many generators still had to be repaired.

Randoms are never productive anyway , if they aren't DC for some stupid reason they're hiding waiting on the hatch even with everyone alive , it's extremely rare to have a solo match where they actually do something with less than 3 gens left
Them never being useful is false and unfair to say. Playing with random people can go turn good just like it can turn bad. The only thing with playing with friends is that you already know what each person will do and that makes it more optimized.
-
Hag and trapper. Both require you to walk around so careful.
-
The thing that makes this ranking system so hard for survivors is getting teamed up with potatoes. The SWF groups will not have that hard of a time ranking up.
-
So you're the first person getting found? That suggests you're still in the beginning of the match, which means nobody is as productive yet. Give people time to walk over to a generator and start fixing it.
Jokes aside, I usually am the gen jockey too. People refuse to work with ruin while I find it doable. It's just how it is really, I'm not as bothered. Nobody working on generators is even more annoying and boring.
-
Kindred shouldn't be basekit. Survivors gotta grow the common sense of working on generators instead of all three going for the hooked person.
-
What the hell is a haiku? I don't watch anime.
-
If it buys extra time for the other survivors to fix generators, it's more than worth it. Glad it's not an exact free escape card anymore.
-
Hell yeah ever since I've seen that outfit of Meg I wanted it. Hope it drops soon, saved my auric cells for it <3
-
Closing the game in any other way than leaving the match and quiting when in the start menu should give a temporary ban that lasts like 1 hour.

That's why I'm not proud of when I was a survivor main, I was a toxic twat😓
At least you admit it and say that you're not proud of it. As long as people change it's fine. Issue is that many toxic players are ignorant as hell.
-
Your 'ending thought' is not completely correct. It's definetly not 90% of the community that just wants to play for fun. The majority seems obsessed to making the game unfun for other players intentionally. Unless you play in a part of the world where people are actually mature and nice.
-
Agreed, ranking system needs rework. Something in the middle between this and how it used to be, so it's not too easy but definetly not too hard. Would love to see the '+1' point closer to the '0' as safe pipping already requires quite a lot.

Killers are CONSTANTLY asking for things to be taken away from Survivors.
You never see people asking for Killers to be stripped down. Survivors complain about camping, tunneling, and NOED. Camping and Tunneling are serious issues with this game that Killer Mains claim to be "a LeGit StRaTeGy!!1"
Camping and Tunneling can completely end the game for another player.
A few people who player killer do, yes. Survivors moan for WAY more than just NOED, camping and tunneling. And if they don't get what they want they'll just review bomb the game. Despite being a survivor main myself too I'm not a massive fan about the useless complaining of survivors. At the end both parties contribute to endless discussions with no useful content but I personally see survivors complain much more often than killers.
-
What if you have way more knowledge and skill than the opponent at a certain rank? Will result in quick ending games usually where you'd say a killer does deserve a pip, only to get them out of that rank and make it fun for those survivors aswell by facing someone closer to their skill level. I don't think the new emblem system exactly makes sense.
-
Nowadays you pick survivors up much faster and if you, while picking up a survivor, see someone running towards you with a flashlight just spam 'R'. Usually works to not get blinded instantly.

Coincidentally enough, Killers legit KILL this game if they don't stop demanding ez pz 4ks and Nerfs to ever single Survivor related ability.
Why do you say 'killers'? I class the people moaning about all the changes made as people who lack skill (yet). It's like survivors and their endless moaning about things killers have.
-
Smh, adrenaline requires you to still be alive at the end of a trial while NOED allows you to sit back and instadown everyone when the last generator has been powered. I rather see survivors with adrenaline than with self-care :/
-
It's not just that killers got what they wanted. Everyone who doesn't like lazy gaming somewhat got what they wanted.

Camping has been hated in pretty much every multiplayer game ever made.
It's no less cheap in DBD than it is in Call of Duty or any othee game.
It's only hated in many games because it's a easy strategy that can reward very big. People only like ''skilled'' play. Sometimes skill is nothing more than using your common sense. If camping could reward you in a situation then why wouldn't you do it if you feel like that's the way you could potentially win? I see it a lot in PUBG too, and despite it being annoying I don't blame them. They usually do win.
-
That's other teammates using the perk. It means it allows you to heal, open gates, repair generators or whatsoever faster. It also can make charges used decreased. It pretty much means that you get affected (in a positive way) by those perks until the perk icon disappears again. Same goes for killer perks like 'Unnerving Presence' which does affect you in a negative way, ofcourse.
-
Usually I kill myself on hook when the last person alive is someone who actually did something during the trial. If they did nothing but rushed hooks I'll struggle too. Hatch is an okay mechanic but the ability to close the hatch would have been fun to have in the game, too bad it did not get added. As a survivor it makes it much more challenging instead of just walking around trying to hear the hatch and then do a hatch stand-off.

not sure i agree with the increased time each time. If you give someone a one hour ban every single time they disconnect, they'll most likely stop playing all together, or stop disconnecting.
By increasing the time everytime they disconnect it will more likely hold them from doing it again. Like you mentioned before, it's a offense that bothers both killer and survivor side. Despite having the chance of getting banned right now it still happens way too much, everyday. Clearly the punishment needs to be more serious and those who are unable to take their faith should just be disabled for some time to play in official matchmaking.

exactly, it sucks for survivors too. they should ACTUALLY do something about the d/cs. Give them a 1 hour wait time for their next game if they D/C. Doesn't even need to be a ban. If you D/C, you cant join a new lobby for at least 1 hour. That would probably fix the d/c epidemic.
That I agree with, the more you disconnect the longer you have to wait until you can participate in official matchmaking again. Time should increase with a few hours and eventually days each time a disconnect happens. If disconnecting occurs too much it should switch from a temporary ban to a permanent ban.
-
Just play hag :)))
-
It's up to survivors really how often she gets her blood puking ability. If they play it smart, she will not have it as much which results in her losing map pressure and yeah, only being able to make survivors sick. But I find it not as hard to avoid the puke when in a loop. Just crouch behind the wall you'd usually loop.
-
I wouldn't want to stream either if there is constant complaining, especially about things for which there hasn't even been a PTB and people are already taking the word ''OP'' in their mouth.
-
The worst thing about the current matchmaking system is not getting people in your lobby that are (near) your rank which can make games you wait for quite a bit very unfun :/
