No Rest For The Wicked: Those who would do you harm, deserve damnation. Any survivor who stuns or blinds you gain the Exhausted status effect for 10/20/30 seconds. This perk has a cooldown of 15 seconds while not in chase.
Last Leg: Surviving until your last breath isn't easy, but not impossible. Gain a 1%/2%/3% stacking boost in generator repair speed, healing speed, and vaulting speed while inflicted with the Blindness, Broken, Cursed, Exhausted, Exposed, Hemmorage, Hindered, Incapacitated, Mangled, or Oblivious status effects.

Blast Mine and Nemisis.
No reason really, I just think they are neat.

Just for reference a typical map is about 100x100 meters, or 10,000 m². A 24 radius circle is 1809 m². So at most a Boon covers 18% or just under 1/5 of the map. (I say "at most" because if the boon is within 24m of the edge of the map it covers less actual area.)
If one boon covers about 1/5 of an average map that makes the numbers make more sense. If there can only be a max of 4 boons active then that would make it so about 4/5 of a map can be covered with the boon effect. That remaining 1/5 of the map can't be covered unless you move one boon. Although you could probably get full boon coverage on a map like "The Game".

I think the hooks were the best ones in the game by far. Plus, the ambiance close to the portal in the wall was always cool.

Me.
With 4.4 killers that perk is potentially better than Pop because you can pop a gen without having to travel to that gen, the drawbacks are not always a Scourge Hook near you and 10% less reduction than PGTW, but I think it still compensate due de amount of time you spend travelling to a gen which is unbearable sometimes with slow killers, specially in huge maps like Mother Dwelling. Also the perk aumatically pop the gen with most progression and you don't have to look for it which also cost you a lot of time and you don't always know which is that gen.
As long as you are able to hook on a Scourge Hook every time you would have the same amount of uses as Pop, but it will always be on the generator that needs to be reduced the most so I think the 10% difference could be worth it.

That is actually a really good idea. It would address half the complaints killers have about hex perks. I am glad I clicked this thread, I had a feeling there would be some good ones.
It would be interesting, but would have to be balanced carefully. Plus, if it just blocks totems, to me that just seems underwhelming. I would want it to do something else as well.

I wonder if Spies From The Shadows will have great synergy with this chapter's perks.
Maybe, it's an underwhelming info perk on most killers though. There are other perks that just do its job better in my opinion.

it's called "camaraderie"
it's fun. No need for a boon.
Unfortunately, it's been changed to "Kinship". It's going to be tough getting use to the new names and explaining to new players.

Since there are many crows in all the teasers and trailers maybe we'll get another crow related Perk.
Spies is kinda underwhelming with the short range.
So maybe a Perk which buffs the Killer temporarely if a crow gets disturbed?
That's always been something I've been wanting. Maybe after disturbing a crow you gain a token, then it goes on a short cooldown. After getting a certain amount of tokens (maybe 8 in tier 3?) you gain 15% haste for a couple seconds. The numbers might need to be played with to be fun and fair, but you get the idea.

A boon that makes the entity stop when the killer is too close to the hook 🌝.
Should be called : a Chainsaw's end
Sounds situational, if you have a boon near a hook, the killer will probably notice and snuff it out. If you light it next to a hooked survivor, why not just go for the rescue? I get if the killer is camping, but he's likely to notice if you are on a totem near him.
-
Easy answer. Cost.
Self-care can be unlocked with the base game from Claudette.
Boon: Circle of Healing has to be unlocked by either hopeing it shows up in the Shrine of Secerets or buying Mikaela from the shop with shards or auric Cells.
If you want to use shards you need to grind for them if your new or if you don't have enough now, grind for them still.

@dspaceman20 said:
Unpopular opinion: I want more boon totem perks
We should have gotten 3 boon totem perks from Mikaela then 2 perks and 1 really bad totem perk
I agree, personally, I don't mind Boons when I'm killer. I'd like to see a Boon that stops loud noise notifications from going off when inside the radius.

The problem I find with boon totems, besides giving killer more crap to do when they are already pressed for time, is how strong they can be in mass. The devs clearly don't think all 4 survivors will bring the same OP perks each match. If a boon perk is even remotely strong than 4 of them will be unfair.
I mean, like I said, we don't know exactly how they will work. We don't know if they stack, if they have massive buffs, individual buffs, or whatever. All that is being done is speculating about how overpowered a new mechanic that isn't in the game yet will be.

Actually, from what we know, a new player just starting out is placed in the high-middle in terms of MMR. They'll theoretically lose horribly and their MMR will go down, but it won't be instant, you only lose so many points for each loss.
Sorry about your experience @sluc16 . This game isn't beginner friendly.
Oh okay.
To be fair, when I first started out I would get horribly stomped by survivors as killer. Way back when Stranger Things was added. It sounds like not a lot has changed in regard to skill gap when starting.
-
Depends on what Boon Totems effects are, we still don't know what they do exactly.
-
If you're new then you are going against new players, you just need more time.

Ok... so you can't gotcha. No I am not claiming to be this amazing top teir killer player in am just saying that by the way he plays it is most certainly not in the top 1%. While he is above average he is not nearly as good as many make him out to be.
Don't bother responding to people that have a single line of thinking. It just frustrates you and fuels them. They reach for things and flail around an argument because they are petty. Even if True was a god tier killer main, people are aloud to have bad games. One or two games don't prove anything.
Also, have a lovely day.
-
How about you play her after the changes go through and then you can make a judgement? For all we know when they say "dust gets kicked up" it's just a couple particles. All I'm saying is reserve judgment until afterward, then you can complain.

I think I'd rework the Luck mechanic before looking at his Perks.

Don't worry about that stuff.

It reveals survivors to you, deactivates chain hunt, and makes you undetectable. Personally, I'd pair it with Iridescent Lament Configuration for a different way to play as the Cenobite.

I wonder if Nurse could even really be affected by Doctors Shock treatment. She's already past the breaking point of insanity.
If anything I'm more concerned about the physical parameters of these matchups. Nurse is a little delicate thing compared to Doctor. We had this same issue with Trapper vs Pig thread and if both killers are powered by the Entity for these fights then they SHOULD be evenly matched in their strength and endurance due to the Entity's blessing.
Anyways, I want to say Nurse personally only because I feel like she probably wouldn't be affected by shock treatment at all or could blink to dodge it and then hit him. The issue is her fatigue after blinking which realistically, anyone would have enough time to land a hit on her but would ONE hit really be enough if she's empowered by the Entity?
I'm trying to remain as impartial as possible, as whatever your decision is could affect who goes to the next round.
I will say, that Nurse has her strength compensated with the telekinesis when break anything, while Doctor uses his raw strength.
Also, even though she is off the ground. Doc's shocks can still affect survivors while they are mid vault of windows and pallets. So either it is getting to them while in the air or it's being conducted through the vaulted object. Which is remarkable now that I give it more thought, because wood is a really bad conductor.
-
@Dwight_Fairfield said:
Nurse. She floats in the air so she is already immune to Doctor's shock attacks. Then simply do a nice spicy blink and bury her weapon in his skull.
Just a reminder that Static Blast effect everyone in a dome radius, even if they are in the air.

The Nurse also isn't touching the ground. Unless Doc performs a mori I don't think he can shock her.
I mean when Doc uses Static Blast it gets survivors all around him, even when they are on an upper floor.

I've been trying to use this combo for the last run of playing pinhead. Does it no longer work like it used to? ie give two uses of haunted. Undying gets cleansed with no effect. I guess it could be that they found the Undying totem and not the other two haunted totems but that seems not logical that it would happen in so many matches. Could be bad luck though. Anyone got any insight on this?
How many matches have you played with that combo?
-
Rancor, Make your choice, Nemisis, Furtive Chase. I call this Rancor Roulette.
Hex: Plaything, Hex: The Third Seal, Thanatphobia, whatever else you want but Sloppy Butcher might be best, haven't tried it yet. No name for this, but I've been using the first three Perks on Pinhead while I level up fro his Perks and it's been fun.

@humanbeing1704 said:
Wasn't launch nurse faster? I imagine there was a reason it was changed
Yep, from what I hear she was an absolute nightmare at during that time. There is a reason her add-on that increases her base speed also takes away a blink.

Monitor, Lethal Purserer and Pop Goes the Weasel.
No add-ons
If it was just those three Perks then that does look suspicious. Was giving the benefit of doubt that he had PWYF.
-
I don't think I'd care either way. Most of the time I'll queue up, not pay attention to survivors in the lobby, then turn my attention back to my screen after I heard the heartbeat sound of the match starting. After the game ends, I check perks, think about if I could work on something, then start a new game up.
-
I think I saw some lag from the Nemesis, but not entirely sure. Apparently, I've heard that PC hackers can trick the game into thinking they are on different platforms, but unless you remember his Perks or any other irregularities in the match, I can't say for certain.

Thanks for your help, everyone. I know it's late, but I just reported this. The only issue is that I can't see the offending player's name because it's not English characters. Will BHVR be able to track them down anyway?
I'll be honest, I have no idea. Reporting cheaters is always good and should always be done, but until some sort of feed back on if that report had any effect, it's very hard to say.

Even then... I don't think it's no question. Trapper is just as fast as pig. He can catch up eventually, and amanda is dead the second he does. All that matters is how long that will take.
But without the rbt already in place, amanda has literally no chance. Evan can probably raise her from the ground with 1 hand.
Honestly, trapper vs hag would be a more interesting fight. And wouldn't require to give one of them that big of an advantage from the start
Just wanted to give Pig a chance is all. In a normal fight, would have been almost impossible to get an RBT on any killers physically stronger than her.

The entire point of needing moris was so that players didn't have their game ended super quickly as all you had to do was down and tunnel them, boom they're now dead. No fun.
Keys are no different especially with the conditions for hatch to spawn. A great example was a recent game where I was dominating the match. They made poor choices and were published for it but then all of a sudden when I'm about to 4k, three of them immediately escape through hatch denying me a win that I deserved. Keys needs a nerf but they made it difficult on themselves with a stupid achievement that advertises players to open hatch for their entire team.
I learned recently that if an achievement becomes impossible to achieve they can change it. An example eventually will be once Hawkins leaves, the achievement associated with completing the generator and escaping will be changed. As well as likely the Adept Stranger Things characters.
Depending on how they change keys and the hatch, the achievement for escaping with all 4 survivors will change as well.

From what I've heard, you appear behind the survivor. If the spot you were supposed to appear is blocked it will be in a certain radius of the survivor.

Pretty much. Doing a tournament using the forums. So far going pretty well.

I wouldn't rework it. Some changes though
- Survivor can no longer cancel opening the box after they initiate opening the box.
- Survivor's no longer can always see the box. Both Killer and Survivor can see the box aura when within 16 meters within the box.
Survivors currently have way too much available counter play while the Killer just has nothing to control their own power. It's like "Master Survivor sama may I use my power now?" - That doesn't feel like your much of threat.
I'd say I'm all for allowing survivors to see the box at any distance. Chain Hunts are punishing if they aren't dealt with immediately. This coming from a killer main.

I love these posts a lot of fun & something along the lines of one of two creative side project I'm working on.
I feel you missed the best opponent for billy though.
Surely it should be billy vs pig! My billy at least has the pig skin on his head thats a legit grudge fight!
Currently I'm doing a tournament in the forums. Any clear votes are added and winners move onto the next round. Maybe I'll do a second one later, but Pig has an interesting opponent and an added rule for their fight.
Shall be posted soon.

Very. Auric Cells are the games paid currency and the only way to earn them besides buying them is using the paid battle pass, which you need to buy with Auric Cells to begin with. Never trust something too good to be true.
