  • If that's the case I shall remove my ballsack with a butter knife

I just want a damn original killer already, sick of licensed character after licensed character these days

In any case if we get another stealth or teleporting killer I'm probably just going to manually remove every part of my brain that contains memory of this game

  • I prefer original chapters, it feels like they've just been doing licensed chapter after licensed chapter and it's kind of getting old. With licensed stuff they are limited but with original they can pretty much make it whatever the heck they want. And I'm sorta lowkey hoping for the Alchemist to be the next killer (or at least at some point) from the archive stuff

I wouldn't be against IT though, we just haven't had an original in a while it seems

  • I think BP caps each match should be raised, and the 1 million BP cap should be increased a bit as well. The game has expanded a lot and there's just so much stuff to unlock, being able to get a bit more each match and hold more in general would make it easier to manage.

And some more BP perks would help out too. I'd like more that give a bonus outside the match rather than in it, since the ones that give in-match bonus get screwed by the match cap

  • Speaking of handicapping yourself and BP, No Mither should give 100% bonus in Survival category (or like 50% in all categories)

  • I want to kobe on the killer's face even if it really does nothing

  • If I quickly spam it means the killer is close or is camping

If I go for 1 second and then stop several times it means the coast is clear and somebody needs to come rescue me

If I spam when someone gets close it means there are traps or the killer is coming back

  • Rotten Fields can just go die in a hole already please. But honestly I probably hate Haddonfield even more. Even as a survivor I really just don't like that map at all

  • Even after 1100 hours I still ######### my pants when I hear the terror radius

  • Maybe the Entity wouldn't be able to capture him, just allow him to take physical form in its trials to have fun hunting the survivors. So Pennywise would still exist outside of the Entity's world and wouldn't be controlled by it, it would be more like the Entity made a deal with him to let him hunt as many survivors as he wants as long as he plays by the rules.

  • Fun shouldn't be heavily used for balance BUT it should still be considered. Like if 95% of people hate something because it isn't fun then maybe something should be done about it because the game exists for people to have fun playing it, otherwise what is the point?

  • Yeah, if I could sell them for 1BP I would because I'm literally never going to use them

  • Yeah, that's why survivors always have to repair them

Those are some cool ideas! Some early concept ideas I had was that you could inject survivors with blight to make them louder and bleed more glowey blood, which makes them exponentially easier to track, the way they got it off was to have a Pustula basically stab them to suck the blight out. I was worried mechanics like that would be too similar to Plague though.

Yeah, I was actually thinking "maybe if the survivors get injected they have to extract some serum to make a cure" but then that would basically be the plague. So I guess if someone gets injected then it could either be a certain amount of time or they have to fully heal to get rid of it or something like that

  • I was thinking it'd be cool if it was something like this:

There are X amount of plants scattered around the map, which will grow and gain serum over time. They start the match with a small amount of progress already. The longer they've been left untouched, the more serum you can extract from them. Once extracted, they will continue to grow back over time. You can hold a certain amount of serum and different actions use a different amount.

You can inject yourself with a dose to gain a boost of some sort (idk what) or you can inject survivors to cause them debuffs (since they don't have a tolerance for it like you do). If you have a large amount of serum, you can "Overdose" which will use up all of it but give you a massive boost of some kind, but when it ends you'll be debuffed for a little while (move a bit slower and maybe shorter lunge or something).

However, survivors can also extract serum from the plants. They can't do anything with it, they just drain the plant so you can't use it. It will still grow back though, and it takes survivors much longer to extract it than it takes for you (since you are familiar with the plants and have proper tools). This will give survivors the choice if they want to spend time to reduce your potential or ignore the plants but risk you becoming extremely powerful or poisoning them. Keep in mind, there are numerous plants and the survivors would be hard pressed to keep them all empty, so they can't completely deny your power no matter how hard they try. And even if they do try, they aren't getting gens done and you can catch them at your plants.

There's another part I just thought of but not sure if it'd be a good idea or not. I was thinking maybe you could also inject crows with a bit of serum, which will turn them into aggressive blighted crows. When a survivor gets near a blighted crow it will fly directly at them (no damage) and cause them to scream (no noise indicator, just the scream itself, like when someone gets hit by a clown bottle) and slow them by 50% for 3 seconds. After that, the crow flies off and will no longer be blighted unless you inject it again later. I wasn't sure if it'd be good since some maps are much more crow-abundant while some have hardly any. And maybe he would already have enough abilities already and it wouldn't be necessary, but I thought I'd mention it anyways. No killers really incorporate crows into their power, and they are a creature of the Entity as are the plants (I think?) so it'd be a neat combination. Oh, and with Calm Spirit the blight overrides the crow's comfort with the survivor and they attack them anyways, but it'll still prevent the scream.

  • At least there are some nice people in dbd. Some of the other games people have mentioned, you're basically playing with drill sergeants 99% of the time and being a noob is pretty much illegal

  • People who run those big ass infinites earn a hot date with me in the basement

  • Scenario 1: You get it to work perfectly and the survivors might as well uninstall, go cry in the corner, and rethink life

Scenario 2: The game starts KABOOM never mind then maybe next round. Bye bye perk slot

Scenario 3: You get 1 down and everyone collectively shits their pants and finds the totem. Fun while it lasted, right?

Scenario 4: You get it to work but oh wait everyone's already dead which is cool but the perk did nothing

Scenario 5: Survivors rush the hook so you don't even get a token, you filthy camper you!

Scenario 6: haha noob killer you got looped for 5 gens, git gud™️

Scenario 7: The survivor band DC/DC just came out with a new song titled "when the game gets tough, you can't quit enough"

  • Just make trying to avoid her not basically a coin flip and fix prayer beads and we're good to go

  • They should add a scoring event for hitting survivors who are broken and/or give people more reason to cleanse. I hate not having half my power and basically being locked out of an entire BP category

  • I don't hear a random explosion at the start of the game, and I get an extra perk slot

Jokes aside (that wasn't all that much of a joke though) I just hate hex and obsession perks. Anything that can be lost or destroyed or requires extra special attention/effort is just not for me. I like perks that stick with me all game and can't be affected by survivors

  • I actually do play killer sometimes but queue times usually result in me switching back to survivor, and I usually like low or mid-tier killers so I tend to get bullied a bit more as I can't play games at a fast enough rate to really get good with any given killer. Plus, you have to level each and every killer (or at least the ones you like) if you want the right perks for them since they're all different, but with survivors you just have to level one aside from unlocking teachables since they don't do anything different.

  • Lore-wise I think some survivors can have the ability to fight back to some degree because that gives them a lot of hope, and the Entity feeds on hope. Still, their efforts are limited because the Entity also feeds on desperation and misfortune, so if the survivors could fight back too much then it wouldn't get enough of that negative energy and the killers wouldn't be able to make as many sacrifices. The Entity makes killers unkillable for this reason; although they can be slowed down they can never be completely stopped so survivors will always have the dread of a killer coming for them.

As for why Jane has that ability? I'm not sure, but I think she's the type of person who is just waiting for someone to underestimate her so she can surprise them. Like people think she's hiding in a locker scared but she's actually waiting to burst out of the locker right in the killer's face.

I think David, while he would love to fight the killers, knows he's outmatched. He is unarmed while the killers have weapons, powers, and the Entity's favor. He still wants to "fight" them, but indirectly, by helping his friends and dodging attacks. His perk No Mither comes from his desire to take on challenges and prove his skill against the killer even when it is a huge risk.

  • I'd be down to clown with a power like that. teabag = roid rage

I haven't come across a single challenge that has not been something that I would do normally or attempt to do normally, or that would just happen under normal circumstances.

So you'd search 5 chests in one match under normal circumstances? The first tome/set of challenges may seem normal but some of the ones that are coming in the future are not so nice

  • All I know is if they add yet another stealth/stalking killer or teleporting killer within the next year I'm going to literally cry. We already have like 4 of each of those, it'd be nice to have something a bit more creative.

  • Did you happen to be spirit playing against a david by any chance?

  • I like having people to back me up, and feeling like the odds are stacked against me (even if they sometimes aren't). I just wish survivors were actually different and not all skins. That's a big part of the reason I play both roles quite a bit. Honestly, if each survivor was unique in a meaningful way I'd probably play survivor 90% of the time like I do in Identity V.

Another big part of the reason I play survivor more currently is because of them good old queue times

  • The devs put it in the game, they obviously expect people to focus on the challenges so if they didn't want people doing f*ck all 90% of the match to get a challenge then they shouldn't have made it that way. They should have made them all normal stuff you'd actually do and not something that you are required to throw the match and go out of your way to get the challenge done. Not to mention the ones that have "in one match" requirement means instead of throwing 1 or 2 games to get it, your progress resets every match so now you gotta mess up 10+ games before you finally manage to get it.

Anyone who doesn't care and wants to continue playing normally can forget it because even if they don't want to do that ######### it's likely that at least one other person in the match is going to so you're basically screwed

  • I love watching people storm the basement like area 51 while I have corrupt purge

  • I would, it would give me a bit more reason to use moris (other than the obvious reason)

  • We've had gens for 3 years and it's become so boring that I only run meme builds 70% of the time so I can still be entertained by this game

  • 99% of the time I am just goofing around, so having a bunch of like-minded people and/or noobs is always great. Usually those of us who mess around don't rank up a whole lot so we are in brown town. I also don't play quite as often as I used to so the rank reset keeps me nice and low.

And the occasional noob stomp with a weak killer is fun as well

  • Legion sucks for survivors: NERF into HELL

Spirit sucks for survivors: nothing happens

  • Even for people (like me) who don't care about it that much and just want to play the game it's going to screw us over because everyone is going to be going for the challenges all the time. Not sure what the devs are thinking, maybe they aren't thinking at all

  • Ultimately they probably shouldn't add voice chat this far into it but if they did I'd be okay with it if they fixed the numerous perks that would be rendered basically useless because of it. Such as Bond, Empathy, Aftercare, even killer perks like Knock Out and maybe Third Seal.

  • It's funny until they realize the exit is blocked and I have NOED

  • Only works on basic attacks which is enough for me to not like it or want to use it

  • I've been threatened with a report for speedhacking numerous times because I was using Hope. None of them listened to my explanation or bothered looking at my perks

If I was going to speedhack I'd make it more than 7% and I'd do it before the end of the game

  • Probably because it's the newest so I haven't gotten tired of it yet

  • SCP-457 (The being made out of flame which takes a humanoid form if given sufficient fuel. As it increases in size its intelligence and power increases. It tends to be hostile toward humans and constantly seeks out anything flammable, including living things) would be interesting. We don't yet have any killers that do anything with fire and I've always wanted one. They'd have to change it a bit (such as keeping it from growing or shrinking from human size and not allowing every flammable object to burn) but it could work

  • I feel like they're trying to milk us even more (we already got premium cosmetics and dlcs, in addition to it being a paid game) but that's just my opinion and not everyone will see it that way

  • I threw down pallets near gens when the killer wasn't around so if the killer came for me they'd have to break the pallet first

  • My heart rate is faster than a jackhammer that just snorted 500 lines of coke whenever I'm last survivor trying to open the gate

  • I use Hangman's Trick because I'm an ascended memelord and I want 1000% guaranteed hooks every time

You could also use Useless Shrine since you can reach the basement easier

  • Hopefully that means we will be getting more addons for items that are missing a few. Like how there aren't any very rare addons for toolboxes, no ultra rares for key (except for that one now) I don't think there are any ultra rares for map either but I'm not sure about that

  • A second objective would be nice. If it's mandatory they could shorten repair times a bit (because gens are boring as hell) but have the second objective time make up for it (so the game doesn't fly by like it currently does a lot of the time) If it's not mandatory then it'll be super underwhelming and no one will bother doing it because it's not gens

  • I'm still waiting for the killer that fits me like a glove, a killer that feels like it was made for me, one that I didn't know I needed

Of course such a killer might never be created, or what I'd want would be too op or something. Demogorgon seems cool but I'm not sure if it could be the one yet since I haven't tried it. The power does seem cool but at the moment it feels a little lacking so we'll just have to see

  • Spirit is one of my least favorite killers to play against and I let out a gigantic sigh of frustration every time I find out that's the killer. I'd rather play against omega/5 blink nurse, instasaw billy, instadown huntress, or insidious campmaster leatherface than play against her.

Not saying you shouldn't use her though, we all do things the other team doesn't like and there's no way to make everyone happy so just do whatever you want as long as it's legit

  • Yes use that perk so that's one less meta perk I have to deal with
