  • It could have just as easily been Left Behind that boosts everything all the time instead of Wake Up!

Then it'd be a disaster. Would be kinda fun though, repairing, healing, vaulting at like 350% speed. Unless you're the killer

  • They just need to fix protection hits. Currently they don't work half the time so it's next to impossible to get the perk to trigger. I've been hit while the killer is carrying someone, while getting someone off the hook, jumping in front of the killer while someone is about to get hit, and none of them counted for MoM. I think every time the scoring event "protection" comes up you should get a token for MoM, plain and simple. And they need to fix it to where it always counts as protection when you protect someone. Then the perk would be alright.

  • That's actually not a bad idea, I think it could even the odds a bit for lower tier killers. However, I'd prefer they just made weaker killers better directly as opposed to giving them slightly more favor in maps. I want a killer to be good and viable for who they are and what they do, not for what effect they have on the map's RNG

  • The Clown's power takes more effort than it's worth. Throwing bottles slows you down which defeats the purpose of using them, and reloading takes precious time that you could be using for something else

Plague seems good on paper, but survivors can completely deny half of her power (corrupt purge) just by not cleansing. Although they will be broken if they don't cleanse, they still move at full speed and they can still easily loop since her regular power does nothing to help in a chase

  • Dang bro. I also did not get selected.

I kinda really wanted to try it out, not gonna lie

  • They shouldn't be banning anyone, it's their fault and not the players. The bugs are so widespread that plenty of people could be "abusing" it/them without even knowing.

Something that takes deliberate and intentional maliciousness to exploit is one thing, but something that anyone can do just by accident is completely different

Plus anyone who doesn't look on the forums etc. will not even know that they could be banned for using something they might not have even realized was a bug. Maybe someone just tried out Wake Up! for the first time and thought it was supposed to affect everything, or maybe they are just using the perk because they like it and don't know why they have a yellow bar on everything. Or maybe they just got some cool new addons for legion and want to see how well they stack, only to realize they are super good and continue to use them, little did they know BAN just like that, for no apparent reason

The devs should focus on fixing the problems they created as opposed to punishing people who may or may not have even known they were doing anything wrong

  • They shouldn't ban people for potentially using a perk they didn't even know was bugged. I use that perk sometimes just for fun, and I myself actually used it recently before I realized it affected all actions.

Plus what if people who don't check the forums etc. use that perk? Even if they announced to not use it or you'll get banned then those people would get banned for no apparent reason because they didn't know about it.

It's the devs fault it's bugged anyways, instead of punishing people for their mistake they should just focus on fixing it

  • I want a pirate who says "ARGHHH" every time he gets stunned

  • Although the main focus here is on Ghostface, have you considered anything about the Plague lately? Her power doesn't seem to be as punishing as it should be against people who don't cleanse, most noticeable at high ranks. Although the person pukes and goes down in 1 hit, it does basically nothing to stop them from looping and using infinites. Perhaps a small Hindered effect in addition to broken would solve this?

  • I would just add blindness so you can't see where potential rescuers might be

  • He's stalking you from somewhere, but you don't know where. Find him and reveal him and then you can play him.

  • I prefer killer because the killers are actually different. Survivors only differ in what perks they can get, but even then you can unlock them on everyone without too much difficulty, so ultimately different survivors are just different skins/voices.

Killers on the other hand each have their own power and stats, which makes each one a different experience even after unlocking all the teachables

  • Because sitting there holding m1 for 80 seconds and pressing space occasionally is boring as hell and anything else would be better than that

  • @CronaWins said:

I would care about other killers but Nurse and Billy exist.

There is no reason to play anyone else.

That's the whole point of making other killers viable. Nurse and Billy are mostly what you see at high ranks and it sucks to have to play a select few killers all the time to do good against good survivors. If they made more killers at least decent at high ranks, we wouldn't have this problem as much

  • As cool as it would be to have one-use items that go away after being used (you can only save them if you don't use them) something like a gun/flare gun would end up being a troll tool with the current situation of the game. I can see it now, 4 swfs all using flare guns and MoM, SB, DS, Adrenaline

  • Here's an idea: Make noed base kit for all killers (hear me out) but add an on-screen totem counter. This bridges the gap between solo and swf and solves the problems of not knowing if the killer has noed and not knowing how many totems there are. It also creates a realistic/viable secondary objective for survivors which is something many people have been asking for for a long time, and it can be done without having to add anything major to the game or change any core mechanics.

  • Hillbilly and Cannibal. Full speed chainsaw, full turning capability, multi hits, and doesn't stop until you stop chainsawing or run into something

  • One time I was playing Plague and a fully sick person was hiding in a locker. A big green smoky locker.

  • Clown. It starts out innocent-seeming, just people going to a circus, but then we slowly figure out that behind one of those painted faces is a ruthless killer, looking for the next perfect target for some good old fashioned finger collecting.

They could actually do a movie for every killer's backstory (maybe with some extra spiciness/twists thrown in) if they wanted to

  • Devs: Makes 3 gen strat possible

Also devs: Bans people for doing 3 gen strat

  • Win a match by having all 4 survivors die on the ground without any DCs

  • Dying Light - If you kill the obsession everyone else does actions 25% slower for the rest of the game, meaning you want rid of the obsession as fast as possible

Remember Me - Hit the obsession and everyone else takes longer to open the gates, but the obsession can still open them at normal speed, which is a good reason to make sure they die before then

Rancor - Once the gates are powered you can instantly kill the obsession, maybe in this case you want to let them go for a while but if you get them at the end nothing can save them

No downside to being the obsession though I suppose...

  • If it was 1000% bonus it would still be trash. There are only 2 uses I can think of for it, which hardly ever happen anyways and aren't worth a perk slot by a long shot

    1. The killer is not closing the hatch and is also not patrolling gens
    2. You are at one gen and want both hatch and gates potentially available at once, so the killer has to choose to check the gates or keep looking for the hatch, possibly buying you time to go for whatever the killer isn't going for
  • Instead of saying "oh my god this killer sucks just don't do a chapter better luck next time" we should say what we think is wrong and how we'd like to fix it,

Which is what a lot of people are doing and I'm sure the devs understand the situation now. It is just a PTB which is meant for us to test and give feedback, which is what people are doing. Saying we should cancel it entirely is not helping, and you aren't really adding anything meaningful to the overall community wide conversation about the new killer.

  • As a survivor: being in a scenario in which whatever stupid meme build I'm using actually does what it's supposed to do (even if I still end up dying)

As a killer: Getting t-bagged for less than 100 crouches

  • Wake Up!- I'd increase the gate opening speed to at least 30-50% at level 3, although that may sound like a lot the perk benefits you none whatsoever the whole match unless you open a gate. Seeing the gates isn't worth much at all since you can see them and remember the location anyways.

Left Behind- Instead of affecting generators it should allow you to hear the hatch from farther away, or possibly give some aura reading on it at a short distance. I know that's more of a rework than a small buff but honestly generators as last survivor are almost always useless 99.9% of the time, even if it was 1000% bonus repair speed it wouldn't matter, it needs to do something different

  • So what would ghostface be known for then? He can t-bag faster than pig?

  • What we wanted: An iconic character in a game with several others already in it

What we got: Sort of that but he's garbage if you actually want to win

  • Next up they are changing the Shape to The Michael Myers, Cannibal to The Leather Face, Hillbilly to The Hill Billy

  • If the do Pinhead they will end up ruining him as well

  • You can go stealth, but it makes a bunch of noise and gives sound cues and if anyone happens to have you in their field of view your stealth is automatically removed and you have to wait for it to recharge.

While in stealth, you can stalk someone for a few seconds to temporarily expose them, but they get notified immediately and can easily run away until it wears off

He can also crouch independently of stealth

On the bright side he has 115% movement speed, which you will need because his power does little to nothing

  • I think the idea is to use it with the other perk that lowers your terror radius in a chase so you can track the people who fast vault while you are chasing them.

However that is total garbage, you can usually track them anyways pretty easily and that is 2 perk slots for something that barely even helps and you lose it if the obsession dies

  • The survivor should not be guaranteed another chance when they failed 2+ times already. They didn't get the gens, their team died, and they couldn't get the hatch. How many more tries do you need? The gates after hatch has been closed should be a long shot for the last survivor, if they want to make it they should have to have a lot of luck/skill

  • For the items? No.

    For the bloody cosmetics? Maybe.

For scaring the life force out of every survivor in existence with P3 Nurse? Hell yeah!

  • The devs would sooner remove pallets than they'd add a new gamemode. Just look at the game. How many years has it been out and we still don't have anything but the same regular gamemode that we have now. It has been changed some here and there but there is no way they are adding another one

  • They should add "annoying ass music will play for the duration of the trail" to the perk description

  • They punish DCs?

(yeah I'm joking, except I'm not)

  • If I remember correctly, the cake, pudding, and bloody streamers were all community challenge/event rewards that were permanently added to the game to reward all players for cooperating to complete a big goal. That's why they are far better than any of the other BP offerings.

  • EGC starts when the hatch closes so we don't have the classic "survivor hides around the edge of the map for 40 minutes while the killer frantically runs around like a maniac trying to find them before they escape" that we had before EGC and hatch closing were a thing

  • Adrenaline should instantly sacrifice you to the entity as soon as you load in the match

  • I wish there was a way to make all the survivors noticeably functionally different without messing up the balance. Unfortunately trying to do that now would just open a can of worms in terms of making it fair for both sides. Still I like the idea, just that some of the perks that are already super good will only be made better

  • Or they could just fix the bar to not be 99.9999999% every time you get hooked

  • The thing I don't like is basically now the Frenzy is a lot less important/useful. You can't down people with it, you can't use it as often, vaulting with it is slower, and deep wounds is an annoyance at best. I like killers who can use their power a lot during the game, not killers who mostly just regular chase and their power is a bonus thing you use every once in a while.

Trapper falls into that category but I still like him, because his power fits that formula really well whereas the Legion's does not

  • Secret Exit

When inside a locker for at least 3 seconds, press the activate ability button to teleport to a random locker outside a 32/44/56 meter radius. Can only be used once per match.

"The killer isn't the only one who can get a favor from the Entity every once in a while"

    Technical Difficulties

When repairing a generator that the killer has damaged, the sparks will continue to emit from the generator and it will continue to regress when not being repaired. The generator's progress will appear to the killer as being up to 10/20/30% less than what it actually is, gradually progressing over time. If multiple survivors use this perk on a generator the effects do not stack, and a survivor who is not using this perk repairing an affected generator will cancel the effects.

"I'm not too good with these mechanical gizmos"

    Backup Plan

You can see where the hatch is even before it appears, and once it is open its sound cue range is increased by 4/8/12 meters.

"Preparing to lose doesn't mean I'm going to lose"

  • Don'ts for survivors:

    1. No perks that let a survivor escape the killer's grasp or hook on their own. They worked hard for their catch and shouldn't lose it with a single survivor perk
    2. No perks that let survivors go fast or get a distance advantage on the killer. They already can vault windows and pallets faster than the killer so they don't need anything else
    3. No stealth perks, survivors have crouching and lockers already, they don't need more stealth
    4. No objective perks, there are 4 of them and only 1 of you so they can do the objective really fast anyways
    5. No healing perks, it is hard enough to injure survivors to begin with and they can heal each other already so they don't need perks for it
    6. No time wasting perks. The killer's time is precious so wasting it is unfair
    7. No vision or detection perks. Survivors have third person and can see each other when downed or hooked, plus the killer has a red light and heartbeat constantly so having more detection is breaking the game
    8. No teamwork perks. The killer doesn't get a team so that is an unfair advantage
    9. No items. Survivors shouldn't be able to bring in items that give a huge advantage, and the killer can't prevent it and there is no disadvantage
    10. No offerings. The killer can only give one item but the survivors can do 4 so that is unfair advantage
  • So they can escape the survivors before getting teabagged to death

  • I think instead of obscuring hooks it should have an inverse affect to IG, so it makes the wiggle bar a bit faster.

  • I'll have you know that my mother is not in fact OP

  • I'd like a killer who is a physical incarnation of the Entity or something the Entity created to have more direct control of how its bidding is carried out, something so vile that it could not have come from our world, only from the darkness within the Entity's realm

  • inb4 "it's hard mode so it can be total ######### and no one is allowed to make it even remotely viable"
