i mean i stayed downed as i apparently was broken on the floor?

Broken only prevents you from being healed while injured. You can still be healed while downed. If anything, it's probably a bug and not intended, might be fixed when PTB comes to Live Servers.

but that's the whole fun of it? now one perk takes away any recovery from adrenaline.

I mean, you can still go from being downed to injured with it, so you can still get some value from the health state.

Also "we have worked hard to get to end game so i should be allowed some fun", and what about everyone else, or the killer? Should they be allowed fun for enduring a match until the end? Youre logic doesnt make sense, both sides have to go through stuff, you arent owed anything for playing the game.

  • Well it depends on the order at which the effect is applied, there are instances where Adrenaline applies first.

With Renewal/Second Wind + Adrenaline, Adrenaline applies first, then Renewal/Second Wind heals afterwards, just for an example.

Yeah I don't get the point of last second switching. It's a waste of time, imo.

People do it to avoid Lightborn, since there is no way for the killer to tell if you have a flashlight or not until youve swapped, but by then, there is no way for them to put on Lightborn.

Half the time it's easy to tell if someone is going to swap, it's just something you can sense after playing for awhile. So throwing on Lightborn normally will result in them DCing if you manage to pull it off (or getting accused of stream sniping if they are a TTV).

You can move on to the next match without giving hatch dude. Don’t really care about your method of always giving someone hatch but those are the facts.

But you cared enough to respond?

Am I not allowed to share my experiences about DbD on the DbD Forums? Is that not allowed? Apparently so.

  • I was explaining what I do in that situation, nothing more, nothing less.

  • Whenever two people are left, and I know Im going to win, it's easier to get someone out of the match and let someone get hatch. I dont "tunnel" or go for the same person over and over, I just take hook trades until someone dies and give the other person hatch.

It's nothing personal. It just speeds up the process, people want to move onto the next match.

  • @Beatricks said:

It can still give you kills that you don't deserve so yeah, they should have just removed the perk entirely. But nope, only survivors aren't allowed to rely on crutch perks.

"Only survivors arent allowed to rely on crutch perks."

    Pretty one-sided, must I say.

I never really used Dead Hard much, or any meta perks when they were commonly used, and for the few times I did bring in strong stuff, I never got harassment for what I brought into a match, nor did my teammates ever. I have only been harassed by a killer 3 times over 2 1/2 years of playing.

I bring NOED into a match, and every other match I have some person harassing me post-game in my DMs, even if all the survivors died before NOED even activated, I would still be harassed over bringing it.

This being said, Im not going to be bias, and say that both sides have toxic players, an even percentage. There are just more survivors than killers since the game requires such, but overall an even amount across both respected roles. Stop projecting your negative experiences, stop acting like every single player thinks that way when in reality most people dont.

(Also it's a perk that is piss easy to counter. The only issue with old NOED was in big indoor maps (Lery's, RPD), it was annoying to find the totem, and sometimes you couldnt it in time. However, NOED reveals itself to survivors now, it isnt hard to find. If you still have an issue with NOED, I dont know what to tell you.)

Yeah I find it weird that we can't see the killer's ping tbh. Playing against ranged killers with bad ping is absolutely miserable.

Ranged killers have projectiles that are checked by the server? I think it's more of bad netcode than it is anything else, and remember, DbD has been having issues with their servers for awhile, I mean, look at the mass rubberbanding issue.

  • @Laluzi said:

Ah, Pentimento works? I didn't bring it because I wasn't sure that rekindled totems would count.

...instead, I royally flubbed my first attempt by bringing Plaything, figuring I could play the game a bit before the totem camp. Only remembered too late that Plaything totems turn themselves off if the associated survivor escapes or perishes... so yeah, don't use Plaything.

I eventually got it by bringing Undying/HG/Blood Favor/DH. Planned to camp the last totem but ended up 3king with hatch.

In the end of my match, I got scared and left a few broken Hex Totems, I didnt realize it until after someone cleansed one of my Rekindled Totems, but I had 5 Totems for Hex: Pentimento ready to go but I blew it. The Cheryl kept healing with Inner Healing.

Just give Deathslinger some Heelys and call it a day lol.

  • Ive never seen anyone use Unrelenting, so I quite literally never knew thing was a thing. I think if you still hit an object, the game treats it like a hit since you hit the object.

What is "manually entering a locker", he can only teleport into lockers. If he is chilling in a locker near the hook that's a bug or he's cheating.

When you go up to a locker as the Dredge, you are given the option to search it, as well as the option to enter the locker directly.

It isnt a bug, it isnt cheating, it is an intentional game mechanic, it let's the Dredge teleport to other lockers without being forced to channel their ability. Or they can just sit in the locker, which causes mist to come from the locker if they sit in it for too long.

  • The Dredge cannot teleport into a locker with close proximity to a hook, however the Dredge can still manually enter a locker near a hook.

  • I would personally recommended Any Means Necessary, Dead Hard (if you can get the timing right) or Off The Record, Botany Knowledge, Boon: Circle of Healing.

Any Means Necessary is such a good utility perk, you can see survivors dropping pallets so you can tell if someone is in chase, plus you can reset pallets if they are left behind so you can use the later on.

Dead Hard is pretty good, but can be tricky to use. If you dont want to deal with having to time it, Off The Record is a good alternative.

Botany Knowledge + B: Circle of Healing is just overall a really good combo, since the healing speed without a medkit is really good but you also provide support for your team.

If you need an exhaustion perk, Sprint Burst and Overcome got shifted into the meta.

I got this months ago before the nurse DC plague started

Back then I was just learning Nurse and was way worse than I was now, Im pretty decent with my blinks and Ive learned a lot from doing this Adept considering how long it took to get it.

  • How would the Nemesis be at fault here? The zombie got stuck, that isnt their responsibility. They could hit the zombie, but zombies get stuck all the time, nobody wants to play "zombie micromanagement simulator 2022" in fear of a report for something they cant control.

  • @GentlemanFridge said:

I mean, you gave the answer already. There’s not much else to it.

My point kind of stands where it is regardless. But ultimately you could remove the ability to break pallets and breakable-walls as Nurse and literally nothing would change at all with her. It's a neat detail, but it just really conflicts with Nurse's power, it's kind of sad to see.

Of course you do see posts that are in poor taste, but I still feel like people rely too much on MMR to justify how skilled someone is. I think people forget just how broken and poorly designed MMR is to begin with.

i wouldnt bank on console players adding much since ps plus came out and alot of people bought the subscription.. ( kind of goes with your first point)

i agree with the burnout point, i myself spend more time on forums then actually playing the game & i only hop on forums early morning/ late at night .-. but i still have fun checking out new content and look forward to project W since it is RE.

i think you are wrong on queue times not indicating anything... all i play is dead multiplayer games (RE Revelations, RE Resistance, MGSV, RE ORC) and gueue time shows how active a playerbase is.. if i can get a match quick then people are playing (1 min. max) but if it starts to go over 5 then it shows no one is playing.

i think you failed to factor in the licenses & how much that should effect a playerbase. Halloween, Scream, Stranger Things & the rest should draw thousands, even millions of players across platforms to play but why does it fail to do so?? the game is just not the same after 100+ hours, once you figure out the mechanics and what not then the game really starts to bleed from there. not saying it cant be fun at times but majority of time i feel like im just hoping to get a decent match.

i wouldnt worry about the game being dead anytime soon though... RE & Stranger Things can extend dbd's life for about another year or so then we'll really see what happens after that but as long as you can pull popular ip and licenses then you"re good.

My point regarding queue times was they arent an accurate representation of a game being dead. There are exceptions where games are dead the queue times do show it, but just because a game as long queue times, doesnt mean the game is dead. There are too many factors regarding queue times and a game dying not correlate so well, again, there are exceptions, but those exceptions shouldnt be used to say "DbD is dying".

Also I mentioned external, or qualifiable, factors affect a player count. External, or qualifiable, is in relations to qualities something has. If a DLC launches, people might return depending on what that DLC is, and some people might leave because of that DLC as well. Qualifiable information is something in more relation to the natural, qualities, and representation of something (aka, categorical variables).

And Im not worried about the game dying, I stated the opposite, that the game is doing insanely well. The entire post was focusing on addressing the "DbD is dying" and "dead game" posts I see every now and then on the forums.

  • Epic Games moved all of their games to UE5 and their games still run insanely smooth on last-gen consoles, even their more graphically intense games run smoother than DbD currently does. The main thing is that DbD isnt insanely optimized, so switching engines might cause some issues.

  • I play both sides evenly, so Im not a main to either role. But I do main certain characters for each role.

For survivor, I main Claudette, Yui, Jeff, and Nea; I do play other characters but I mostly use them. Survivor is just where I go to goof around with others and just overall have fun, tunneling and camping is a bit annoying but I normally just move onto the next match and stuff.

For killer, I main Hillbilly, Legion, and Demo; I use a wide variety of killers (except for Trickster, I literally never use him), since they all have unique gameplay, but I "main" these because they are my favorite amongst all of them. I find killer to really be enjoyable when you use chase perks or use perks to remove the Terror Radius (spooky), I do sometimes get destroyed by strong survivor perks and items but it happens.

  • @Marc_go_solo said:

Those posts are especially frustrating as they only sight the only figures available to the public: Steam.

It's just a really stupid way of judging a game's health by basing it on the figures of one platform, when there are several others (or thereabouts) included. And people have been claiming this crap since the get-go.

Im just tired of seeing people say "dead game" and "the game is dying", while it is present in almost every gaming community, I feel like with DbD it's the more frustrating one to see from how one-dimensional the claims are. There really isnt much information for use to go off of, but people go out of their way to pick the worst quantifiable information, but ignore all qualifiable information out there. There are a lot of moving parts with this kind of stuff, and simplifying this into "number = dead game" isnt a reasonable argument, but people use it anyways.

  • I dont physically have a copy, but I played roughly the beginning of the game with some friends and stuff, I enjoyed it, but my opinion really isnt worth much since I didnt experience a majority of what the game has to offer.

  • The Archive/Rift challenges need more rewards...

I really feel like fully completing a page should amass a large amount of bloodpoints for the amount of work and time put into it. I also feel like full completing an entire Tome should reward a cosmetic for both killer and survivor based on a character within the Tome, maybe some Iridescent Shards as well.

The game can also use a favoriting system for cosmetics, and the option to apply cosmetics across all cosmetic loadouts. It will make putting on the Progressive Flag a lot easier for killer/survivors, this is more of a nit-pick than anything else but just something that bothers me nonetheless.

  • Save The Best For Last reduces the hit cooldown of Basic Attacks, while you are carrying a survivor, your lunge is decreased, but your swings are still treated as Basic Attacks and gets benefits from Save The Best For Last.

  • What would discourage a survivor from just sitting in the safezone all game and taking the match hostage?

I think camping and tunneling shouldnt be promoted, but this isnt the way to do it, there are definitely ways it can be abused.

  • @GeneralV said:

    It is a good mechanic.

Go on, explain, please elaborate to the rest of us on how this is a good mechanic...

When Wraith was introduced, it was at the very beginning of the game, Wraith was the only stealth killer and Insidious was the only stealth perk in the game at that time, Lightburnning was introduced as a way to balance him out since there was so little in the game to suppress the killer's Terror Radius. (Keep in mind, old Wraith use to get Lightburned in 1 second and was stunned for 4 seconds.)

It's 2022, and we have a lot of ways of suppressing the Terror Radius to where Lightburnning being the balance for Wraith is outdated, it is punishing a player for using their power on an already weak killer. Other killers do what Wraith does but better, and they dont have to deal with Lightburnning at all.

Lightburnning on Wraith is horrible. On killers like Hag, Artist, and Nurse, it makes sense due to their powers being decently strong, but again, on Wraith, it is outdated.

  • Blight's Lethal Rush is treated like a special attack. Special attacks receive no benefits from perks involving basic attacks (so the Exposed status wont down you instantly, and perks like Save The Best For Last will have no effect over Blight's ability). The only way Blight can instantly down a survivor is while using the Iridescent Blight Tag (Ultra Rare) addon, which creates the condition where a survivor is instantly downed upon hitting a survivor with their ability after using all of their ability's tokens.

  • In all fairness, Hillbilly is the hardest killer to master since in-game there are a lot of moving parts to consider with their power, and also because of how weak their power is in general.

Nurse doesnt really need addons to perform well, and addons only make counterplay even more difficult and make up for the downsides of their power. Ranged addons are insanely problematic, they reduce the distance survivors gain and increase the speed at which you blink giving less time for survivors to react. There is little to no downsides for using these addons, this is horrible design.

Hillbilly's speed addons increases the charge time for their chainsaw but makes them move faster and overheat less as a result. This is good design, since it requires the player to play with their addons heavily in mind, as well as restrict what areas they can use their power effectively. It creates a situation where skill and knowledge can be applied to make your power more effective but still have restrictions to balance things out. And to hit survivors, you really need speed addons, since the default speed is way too slow to really hit survivors in most cases.

But why does Hillbilly have to deal with this when their power is undeniably worse than Nurse's power? Hillbilly has to constantly deal with his overheat mechanic for using their power, but a killer like Nurse has very little downtime between using their power, which again, is undeniably better than Hillbilly's power. (I know that some person will respond saying "but hey, Hillbilly is an insta-down killer, and Nurse isnt, so of course their power is going to be harder to use", and Id like to remind people that Starstruck + Agitation Nurse is a thing that exists, Nurse has access to Exposed perks like every other killer in the game, who thought this was a good design choice?)

Also I agree with the map design also being another issue. Breaking a pallet 10% quicker doesnt solve how many pallets solve on The Game, nor does it solve how strong god pallets are. Gaining Bloodlust quicker doesnt solve how awful some loops are for killer, or how strong tilesets can spawn facing into one another. Recovering from a hit quicker (and getting less of a speed boost) doesnt solve the issue of holding W at all, since people will just move onto other methods of doing such. 90 seconds generators dont solve how large maps are and how hard it is to pressure generators on large maps. All of these dont solve the issues of horrible map design, and they are just adding more fuel to the fire for maps that were more balanced or didnt favor survivors as much.

A map like Garden of Joy is always going to be horrible for Hillbilly, since the map design doesnt cater to their ability. The changes feel otherwise useless, since most, if not all, dont really affect you as a player. Things feel just as they were before the update. But a map like Garden of Joy for Nurse? It's just like every other map where Nurse becomes a SoloQ/Pub Match stomping machine, even more amplified by 90 second generators.

So yea, Nurse is problematic, and this game's killer balance is very poor since there is such a huge different between low-tier and high-tier killers, and the mid-chapter update which bandaid fixed the issues is starting to have it's adhesive wear down and it's half torn off, and more people are starting to realize this. It's not a bad update, they just could have done way better, things feel as if a lot of shortcuts were taken and it really is starting to show.

  • @Beatricks said:

Unfortunately, this is the end result of buffing one side to be stronger than the other. Killer MMR is going up and survivor MMR is going down, leading to matches where you need to be significantly stronger than the opposing side to win, since the odds are stacked in their favor. The only thing you can do is find a SWF.

In all fairness, the conditions for raising survivor MMR (escaping) is harder than that of killers (getting kills).

I really feel like hooks would be a better thing to track than kills, but I guess there is no real winning for either side of this "hockey game" we call DbD.

  • DbD has crossplay, as long as it is an updated version of normal DbD, you can play with anyone, chat is restricted for almost all platforms however, but not for Epic and Steam users.

If someone is on Epic and Steam, they can talk post-game, if they are on the platform that you arent (if you play on Steam and they place on Epic, vice versa), they will have an icon by their name indicating that they are using a different platform to play on, you can use this to tell if someone is playing on Epic or Steam based on what platform you play on.

  • I feel like everyone really under-estimates some of Billy's addons (going to be covering the lesser used ones of course)...

Apex Muffler (Ultra Rare) is really good when paired with Leafy Mash (Rare), it allows you to really pop off against survivors and is really good in maps or loops that dont have wide line of sight areas.

Iridescent Brick (Ultra Rare) is super gimmicky but can work given the right build, it's not a bad addon and never really sees much use outside of archive challenges.

Lo Pro Chains (Very Rare) is a really good addon for Billy since it forces survivors to play around safe pallets a lot to avoid getting hit, also good if you want to break a bunch of pallets in a short time (within close proximity), just overall a really good addon.

Tuned Carburetor (Very Rare) is a very, very underrated addon for Billy, it turns Billy into a 110% movement killer but significantly increases the charge speed of your chainsaw. This can be both good and bad, however, you can use it to remove the drawbacks of the Doom Engravings (Rare) and Death Engravings (Uncommon). It also makes Billy's worst maps (Lery's, Garden of Joy, Eyrie of Crows, etc) a lot easier to deal with.

Leafy Mash (Rare), despite being mentioned earlier with Apex Muffler (Ultra Rare), this addon has a unique interaction that makes it worth using... Starstruck. The Undetectable status effect can be used as a way to buffer the exposed effect from Starstruck. Typically when people see Starstuck, they move out of the way to avoid going down, but you can use Leafy Mash (Rare) to buffer the exposed effect and put survivors in a more favorable place to get hit allowing you to get a lot more value from it.

Mother's Helpers (Rare), this addon's activation condition is a lot easier than that of other increased charge rate addons, only requiring a pallet stun to increase your charge time. Charge rate addons typically remove the control you get for feathering your chainsaw, but since it's only 18%, it becomes useful but not an absolute hinderance to your ability.

There is nothing survivor can do against a Legion in Feral Frenzy so there's no counterplay to not being injured and he can literally down if he hits four survivors. It is not fair to say he has 0 anti-loop when being injured basically means you are 1-shot down.

Survivor is unplayable if you are wanting a fair game.

Another healthstate is just another word for "dodging a hit" in a --- survival game where survivor is running from killer. The survivor is not even increasing speeds now to dodge the hit. It is very unfun to use now.

I dont think you understand what anti-loop is.

Saying "basically being 1 shot is anti-loop" is like saying that Myers is an anti-loop killer because their ability exposes people... that's not how things work. You can loop the killer while being one shot, since typically one shot killers dont have any/much ability to shutdown loops and heavily rely on perks to down survivors.

Anti-loop means that your killer's ability hinders or makes the survivor's ability to loop more difficult, being "1 shot" has nothing to do with that, since they still have to work to hit the survivors. Anti-loop is more comparable to ability along the likes of Dredge, Nurse, Blight, Clown, Pinhead, hell even Billy has anti-loop with his chainsaw mechanics.

SoloQ needs buffs and major quality of life, Im fine with that, high tier killers need to be looked at, I understand people being upset with high tier killers, but you really need to stop your whinging since your post history is nothing but a broken record caught in an echo chamber.

I dumped months playing Billy, so I have a really good understand of how to use his power, also I use default + Frost Eyes, so people really underestimate me as soon as they see me.

  • Well, allow me to break this one down for you, since you are very much wrong.

Generator repairs got changed from 80 seconds (1 C/S) to 90 seconds (1 C/S), and since there are 5 generators that are required to be repaired (7 total that spawn), it would be 50 extra seconds total added to generator repairs.

This however, in-game does not mean the match is going to last another 50 seconds. Survivors can split and work on generators to increase the repair speed, if someone is taking chase, you will have 3 different survivors repairing separate generators, meaning that it will take 3 survivors 90 seconds to complete 3 generators. The other 2 being split adds an additional 90 seconds. This creates an efficiency ratio of 1 generator repaired every 36 seconds. To put it into perspective, the efficiency ration before the update was 1 generator repaired every 32 seconds of repairing.

This of course isnt considering that people need to run and find generator, but honestly that isnt really much of an issue for experience survivors since generator spawns (while random) do have consistent spawn points areas, since you did state you were high MMR you should have an issue with this at all (even though we cant see our own MMR, but whatever).

Your problem is bad Survivors, not the buff.

PR/DMS still isn't good on Bubba during real games. Sure, it sounds bad in a vacuum, but how 1-2 Generators still get popped during the first chase if the team is good, and then Generator Nr. 3-5 get started if the Survivors split up, Bubba won't get anything done

You are overestimating SoloQ teammates are.

If SoloQ received major quality of life, I would 100% agree, but the state of SoloQ is horrendous, you have to take it into account.

Also again, I stated that I have no issue with SH:PR, it's easy to counter, I just have zero faith in my teammates, and I think it could open up the game to horrible playstyles, which is a valid concern.

  • My issue isnt me.

My issue is that it promotes camping. I have always gotten off generator before someone was hooked, so the change doesnt directly effect me, it becomes more concerning with my teammates in SoloQ, they dont get off of generators to prevent a possible SH:PR, so at least 1 generator is going to get blocked.

Also it promotes camping. Nothing is really stopping someone from using Bubba, using SH:PR and DMS, hooking and sitting right in front of the hook. The generator disruption from SH:PR + 90 second generators just makes camping even more of a viable playstyle (which I dislike since camping discourages interactions between the killer and survivor).

I just want a fov slider for motion sick players. Have had it in my builds for years because i have to. It sucks just looking at my build missing 1 perk which i could use for true synergy but shadowborne has to take the slot.

I want this as well, I just really dislike being forced to use Shadowborn whenever I play killer (I would use Monitor and Abuse but the transition between FOVs just really turns me off from using it) but I think BHVR is afraid that people will abuse a FOV slider to gain an unfair advantage (which so be it, it's not that huge of a deal imo).

  • @CodeDB said:

How would that even work? As I understand it, Spine Chill wasn't designed as an accessibility thing but was used as such by those who needed it so changing it negatively effected those that found their accommodation that allowed them to play the game. As far as I know, there are no perks for killers that would work similarly to enhance sounds or give visual cues instead of sounds. MAYBE Whispers but I doubt it would be really helpful.

For other perks being used for accessibility, you'll find a vocal group asking for Shadowborn to be an option in game to help for those that experience motion sickness while playing killer. So if this is trying to be a weird killer vs survivor thing, I think you're off base.

DbD Mobile has a lot of visual indicators for various things within the game.

For survivors they have a visual heart that beats depending on how close the killer is.

For killer, there are visual notifications for certain actions done around the killer (of course they are within range of being heard for the notifications).

None of these features exist in PC/Console DbD, even though they would help those with hearing disabilities, however the developers had made it clear that more accessibilities options are in the works. We know accessibility is in the works for survivor, but we havent had a single word about anything for the killer side of things, since we are pretty much left in the dark in regards to it, I made this post.

This isnt about "oh, survivors get all of this, and killers get nothing", it never was, Ive been an advocate for better accessibility in DbD, I want more people to be able to play the game and enjoy it without being hindered by their disabilities, which means I have to look at both roles.

The only thing that needs to exist is a buffer to prevent flashlight clicking, and it's not because it's toxic (it isnt toxic by any means), I think adding a buffer or transition animation between using and not using a flashlight can help those with epilepsy. Ive made posts regarding accessibility in DbD, and epilepsy was one of the major ones I addressed.

No killer mains mentioning the hitting on hook and being toxic are the same killer mains that cry when a survivor kills themselves on hook when they play survivor themselves or even as killer.

Ive stated my opinion on toxicity on the forums before.

Toxicity is a mindset, it is reflected in the way you act outside of a match. Harassing people in the post-game chat or outside of the game is toxic, it is directly taking the events in the game and using it as a weapon to attack others outside of the match, it is wrong to do so.

Within a match, I have stated that I have no issue with t-bagging or flashlight clicking from survivors, I have no issue with nodding and swinging on hook as killer, I will only do either of so if someone has done it to me, but it's nothing personal nor is it done with malicious intent, while considered "BM" (or "Bad Manners") by the community, they have no merit regarding who someone is as a person.

It is just a game, and any actions taken within a match is also just apart of the game, I dont look into any further, as stated, I dont take things personally with this kind of stuff, if anything I think it's kind of funny more than anything.

If you still have an issue with me doing such, I dont know what to tell you.

    I agree

if you did not use ds up until that point you played with 3 perks all match (which is what people use to defend noed), DS is a one time use powerful perk and if it grants you an escape it is what it is, it's actually killer's fault they were in that situarion to begin with.

This change is actually the only truly bs change from this patch, it's like here let's go extra way to help bad killers for not being able to get kills before the gens popped

There is still a huge difference between NOED and DS.

NOED is only active during the endgame, it cannot be used during any point in the match, and even during the endgame, it can still be easily removed by the survivors. Plus NOED is preventable and can be permanently disabled when active by cleansing (which is made easier by the nerfs).

Decisive Strike on the other hand is designed to be used at the beginning or middle of the match. Having it work in the end has it's own set of problems in which it becomes problematic. Since you could use it at in point in a match, getting tunneled and on deathhook? Well you can ditch that endgame strategy and use it right then and there, the game isnt forcing you to only use it during endgame (and with NOED, the game is forcing you to).

During the endgame, I was thrown into situations where a recently unhooked survivor could guarantee the escape of not only themselves but others because they bodyblock the unhooker, knowing they have a free escape from DS. What is the killer suppose to do? Walk around? Well, they are blocking the way. I am actively going out of my way to not tunnel but getting punished for not tunneling by an anti-tunneling perk. It's horrible design.

Also not every killer is bad just because they dont kill survivors before the endgame. I dont use slowdown perks (mind that I face Commodious Toolboxes, Prove Thyself, and BNPs every match Ive played so far), I dont camp or tunnel, and often get put into endgame situations where I can pull back a win from the survivors since the pressure is on them. Sometimes I win, sometimes I dont, but I am by no means bad, I am actively shooting myself in the foot by using self-imposed rules that others expect me to do because I want to avoid being harassed post-game and even then I still get complaints when I play killer.

If you want to complain about anything with Decisive Strike, I would recommend the stun duration, mainly since a huge portion of the stun duration is taken up by the animation of dropping the survivor. That is something I want the developers to revert. Keep DS being disabled during the endgame, change the stun time or fix the animation to not take up so much of the stun duration.

  • Pinhead.

They arent a strong or busted killer, I just find them annoying, would rather face a Nurse or Blight than face Pinhead, since at least I have mild enjoyment facing those killers.
