  • Oh, you just brought me high school memories with A7X (A little piece of heaven was my first of them) ❤️

  • Yeah, I'm on console and I found it too.

  • @Sup3rCatTree said:

I hate seeing people say "I hate console players, they are so bad" when they see the globe icon. It's so annoying, you know people play on Windows Store and Stadia right? In fact, DBD is free when you have game pass and a lot of people play on Windows and or Stadia.

    Stop it

It's pretty stupid that they judge players based on what they play with, si I wouldn't worry too much about their opinion.

Everyone hates those on a system different than theirs lol, it's just console and PC are majority.

🖐🏽By the way, I am probably one console player adding to the grief (not very good, sorry).

  • I don't get why sprintburst is tier S.

    I think I don't use it right.

I have to walk all the time so I don't waste it or run constantly when I have 1 or 2 seconds left to re-charge which bothers me because it's running all the time, also the killer knows you've spent it when they first see you kinda thing.

Lithe is more on demand and it's harder for the killer to work out when you're going to use it.

As I saw the livestream yesterday and saw the charm. I found it really cool and the charm looks really good.

But then I did the mistake and read the chat and Twitter...

So many (Bad word here) people who write garbage like "I tunnel every one who is wearing that" and stuff that goes in the ddos direction....

I don't know if this charm is "ready" for this community and so many people react like brain dead kids.

Not being "ready" is exactly the reason it's needed.

Those twitter twats threatening those who wear the charm to be tunnelled are trying to shut LGTB+ up through scares and it's sad (plus it's not going to work).

    It's a charm, it's a representation and/or a symbol of support and it's love.

Edit: I put I instead of is a the beginning :S

  • I play console and it bothers me that I don't get to say gg to killers, but this, THIS! It makes me not miss the chat option at all.

There is no reason in any game to wish death upon another player.

It reminds me of mean high school movies in crappy movies.

  • @GoodBoyKaru thank you so much for putting this together.

I missed most of the stream due to work and I enjoy reading over watching a video, so this is amazing.

  • I finally found one at the meat processign plant!

And I read that the second noise it's because a second one spawns halfway through EGC

  • I once had a PH chasing me in Leary's and my controller disconnected mid-chase. I rushed to get the other one connected thinking I was probably already on hook by the time I got back (it was o ly a few seconds, but still, who wouldn't take that?)

Well, PH actually waited for me, as soon as I connected it back, I looked and saw he was also standing there. I iddled and he nodded so chase started again. He even gave me a couple of seconds head start. I died, but I died happy.

Another P3 PH in Ormond chased me through the entire map u til I got myself in a corner and I gave up and stopped running like: I f----d over and I take the L for such stupid move.

He looked at me, I moved so he knew it wasn't a glitch and walked up to him. He looked down like this fatherly figure and signaled me to a gen and let me go.

  • Dexter's laboratory

    Pinky and the brain

    Recess

    Gargoyles

    Pepper-Ann

    Carmen San Diego

Dogtanian and the three muskhounds (I still sing the start of that one randomly).

  • I trust you because I haven't got a clue.

I find it hilarious when Legion uses it.

Everyone starts running around like headless chickens instead of looking around and it's just fun.

  • Use the power to mark everyone. By the time you get the 4th one, the first one healed from the power thing status but hasn't healed and you can down.

I never heal when playing against Legion, because it's pointless, and a lot of other don't either.

If they do, they are wasting precious time and not doing gens, so ruin or pop could be helpful.

I'm saying this as a survivor, so please don't rinse me if I just said a lot of crap.

It's what I've seen from my side.

    P. S. I don't know how it's called, ut there is something that transfers the TR to the survivor you hit and a lot of survivors don't know that and run away from the gen.

  • Both sides have crutch perks and both sides have real people playing.

It's life, sometimes you find a nice killer, sometimes you don't. And the same with survivors and SWF.

I think I've said this before, but I think what's going on in the game is a result of grudges from previous matches and it's a snowball going down a slope. It just gets bigger and bigger, crashing everyone on the way down.

I no longer care, I change builds to try specific things, I change them randomly or go in alphabetical order to see what crap build I get, etc.

If I have a fun game, whether I die or not, safe.

If I don't have fun, I move on.

And then, if I go on to 5 matches and I get destroyed, I go play a other game.

I dont think its an indication your close or not, plus i just read you still need to escape after finding it to register, so if you die after its found, you get nothing..

    Ah, shame...

    Thanks!

I hope you get the chompsky charm

  • Would you know if it makes a sound when you're nearby?

I heard the sound it makes when it spawns, but I've also heard a little laugh when looking for it. I don't know if it's because I'm getting close or a random noise?

Borrowed Time is being changed to to have no restrictions regarding terror radius to activate, apparently due to people finding the mechanics confusing. So, I'm wondering who out there found this confusing? Just trying to get an idea of where this is coming from, because I don't think I've ever heard someone say it was confusing.

I remember being unhooked in front of a camping Myers with BT and I got downed (because he had no TR) when I first started playing.

Just last week, a sleeping Dwight came to unhook when Freddy kept coming back to the hook (bless him, intentions were good) and I got downed because there is no TR when you're asleep.

So, yes. I get that people get co fused about it lol

So you can go back for your hooked teammate, get hit, heal, go back for the teammate, get hit, heal, etc?

So I can try and help unhook.

It doesn't happen often and, when it does, it's not cyclic like you're saying.

If it works, it works and we both get out, if it doesn't, meh... Life I guess

  • What's the problem with 99'ing gates?

I mean, I don't always do it, but, if the killer is chasing someone and they are not running towards the gate, I'm not going to open it in case they have blood warden, I will leave it at 99.

  • Abandonado a tu suerte.

  • I very rarely get the chance to (let's just be nice and say I am not great).

But, BUT, if I do find myself playing against a decent killer that gets violated by sweaty survivors when they noticed they have more experience, I do offer to sacrifice.

  • I don't remember my first match but I do remember that my friends got me into a private match so 2 of us could learn the game mechanics. It was auto haven and we were all on audio (including the killer). Just so you know, I didn't want to play this game because I found it scary.

He was playing with piggy and kept on singing "I seeee youuu" and "I'm coming for youuu" in a very eery voice that scared the hell out of me. I kept screaming and made it scary but in a fun way. So here I am...

    False.

Anyone seems to think when a teammate heals you, he is investing his time on you... let me explain, if you selfcare, you "waste" 32 seconds, but if anyone else heals you, you are "wasting" 16 seconds of your time, PLUS, 16 seconds of time of someone else = 32 seconds again. A video for better understanding (sorry, spanish)

    https://youtu.be/q4bM_02ZIYk?t=63

If you say "it's more efficient not to healing than selfcare", ok, we can talk, but if you want to heal in a match, don't say "it's more efficient someone heals you"

I don't think it's wasting 16 seconds of your time plus 16 seconds of the healer. I see it more like: I'll heal you up faster than yourself and we both go to a gen that we fix faster because it's two of us on it.

This is why insidious basement bubba is actually funny. They give survivors every chance to do the gens and escape, its the survivors own curiosity that gets them killed.

If I see 2 gens pop and there is no sign of the killer, I leave gens to check out where they are, ngl. Most of the times it's and AFK killer or one struggling a lot on the verge of giving up.

The basement bubbas I have encountered is when they have already hooked someone (maybe they were the one to go check for cookies down there) and I have seen A Lot with insidious but there were a couple that didn't even bother running that and it was just funny

I've been stuck on this Tome Challenge for the past 5 days I can't get it because everytime I bodyblock and sabo hooks the killers intentionally drops the survivor which doesn't count towards the challenge.

It does count. One of my friends did it that way.

I got the killer to drop the survivor with a pallet stun and it counted towards it too.

  • @Dragonshensi said:

You know what’s just as bad as hatch hoverers? Survivors who haven’t been hung once, open the exit gate, and leave you on hook.

    Arg, I hate that!

I played against a piggy yesterday who'd been chasing me for last gen with one hit and as soon as they finish, BAM, NOED (I would have been downed anyway). I see one teammate leaving one gate at 99%, I'm on my first hook and oiggybdecides to camp the ######### out of me. This one teammate started running around trying to find the totem. The other two were doing nothing at all. One even tried opening a chest near my hook. Piggy hears her and downs her.

I've already died by the time she hooks the second one to what the other do-nothing reacts by actually trying to find the totem, cleanses it and goes to unhook and I'm watching that like: why didn't you do that for me? I saved you once before and took the killer away from you so they wouldn't hook you again.

  • @NVerde said:

I seem to find a lot of the time when I have Self-Care I have team mates who are REALLY insistent on healing me, one-on-one, which I find puzzling - I usually try to pull away a couple of times so they get the hint, but they waste SO much time attempting, pointing, circling - and then sometimes deliberately pallet surfing, I assume in annoyance, that I prefer to heal myself.

I get that it's slower than a team mate healing you - but to me, if I don't actually use it, it's a wasted perk slot and I think it's better for the team mate to go off and do other objectives and leave me to heal. Is it actually more efficient to just let them heal me, compared to me healing for longer and freeing them up for other objectives? Am I actually having a negative overall impact on the team by using it?

It's faster if a team mate heals you and you can both get on a gen or something. Self care is ideally used when your mates can't help you so they pull the killer away from you to give you time but it is a waste of time to heal yourself if someone is free to help you.

    • Killers are now awarded bonus points if a Survivor disconnects (625 Brutality Points)
    • Killers are now awarded sacrifice points if a Survivor leaves the game (1,250 Sacrifice Points)

    https://deadbydaylight.fandom.com/wiki/Bloodpoints

    Thank you so much!

They basically get the points regardless like we do if they DC.

  • Wow. I didn't know... What do they get?

I don't DC because for me is encouraging them to do it again to someone else as I feel like they go in hoping someone will DC but I did leave a game with a huntress and a death hatchet addon that slugged all thinking if I DC, she wouldn't get sacrifice points and only points for brutality

  • @Pirate said:

Enjoy your timeout then! There is no DC without penalty and no reason for DC. You could just alt+tab out and watch a 4min clip or do some situps. Being butthurt does nothing, you just gave the killer DC bonus and punished yourself, #bigbrainmove

Do they get a bonus for people DC'ing?

  • I tried increasing the cam's sensibility from 50-100 before a game thinking it would help me look back faster.

Midwich with a Legion and I can't even leave a classroom without going several times in the opposite direction lol. Ha dto grt into a locker to change it that happened to be next to a totem (running inmortal) so she saw me going in lol. Not my best day. You should have seen how sad that chase was.

I killed a teammate I was trying to save. I sabotaged her, me and the rest of the team. It was so stupid...

The killer got her from the very beginning. Not letting go and she was doing great, she held up but this killer kept going after her and I ran with 0 hooks to take some pressure of this surv. I get to the 4 l-shape bushes in Haddonfield and I'm running trying to figure out where to come in between and BAM, I find her in front of me, I body blocked her and got her downed.

I was so baffled about the whole situation and felt so bad. I wanted to help her out not get her killed T_T

    I'm sorry

Just got into the Shrine map. So huge map. Literally in the first couple of seconds into the match before I even found someone or really move three gens popped. I was instantly done after that. Just went AFK and let them leave. No way to even get a 1k after that unless I camped and tunneled. That 3 gen rush instantly killed my mood for playing the match. I couldn’t even gen patrol cause the map was so huge. Not only that but I’m rank 10 and can’t depip at all. I didn’t kill anyone in my other matches just hooked. I should be down to at least 12 by now but I can’t depip. I don’t want to face off against these level of survivors. They are out of my league.

Hey, if it makes you feel better. I usually check out on the killer.

Look, sometimes, I am doing a gen and I get caught and no other gens are done and sometimes 3 pop at the same time. If that last case happens, I go running around trying to find the killer and make sure they are okay.

I'm still very bad in chases so they down me pretty quick but they get the first hook and starts balancing the game out a bit.

I found a trapper that looked like he was moving but the TR was kind of in the same place, 2 gens pop and I see he has a lag issue so I waited around, called another surv and then the lag gets fixed and we get hit like: #########, he's back back! And got a couple of kills.

I hope he didn't think we were being toxic. I was just trying to check they were okay and balance things out a little.

    Muchas gracias!

  • I found a nice piggy last night.

One of the teammates died on first hook because she was camping a bit, I went to rescue but she found me hit me far enough to not be able to use that go unhook and the other one got downed because he went for unsafe rescue in the middle of my chase. I don't know, very weird and crappy team effort tbh.

The other one had two hooks already and she finds me so we start a chase, hits me, run around and 2 minutes go by and we're still chasing (maybe it was less but it felt eternal) so I give up. The other survivor hasn't done any gens at that time and he won't come to rescue me so I just stood there and she stares for a bit, downs me and makes me wiggle out. At that point I'm like: what's going on right now?

Piggy asks me to follow her and I start to understand she is taking me to the basement and start doubting her intentions. She shows me the basement box and I get a med kit, heal myself and follow her.

She asks me to start on a gen but doesn't want to break it for some reason. I can feel she starts getting angry the other surv isn nowhere to be found until we hear a gen pop. She goes after him and chases him down.

I go running begging not to kill him so she takes him to a pallet where I can stun and make her drop him.

Takes us both to a hook now that the other surv is with us and asks to hook me, which I agree to (I would have been dead if she wanted me to).

Anyway, hooks me twice, we do gens and get out.

I was laughing my ass off the entire game because I was so scared and then she went from merciless killer to nice farm animal.

    Effing love you

Most SWF aren't OP. I play SWF casually and we lose more often than we win. In fact I'd wager I probably do better solo than with my friends, but I wouldn't play survivor at all if I couldn't SWF.

SWF used to be Custom matches only, but people would lobby hop until they ended up with with friends anyway, so queues would be much, much longer.

I just realised I usually get a +1 and even +2 when solo q but 0 to -1 in SWF.

I don't know if it's because the killer is like: well that's a SWF and I'm going to go hard on them or because I don't have the pressure I do with playing with friends and make better decisions.

Bueno, no sabías, no pasa nada.

  • I'll hold on to give them time in case of BBQ so they have a chance to escape or gain distance with the killer.

If I see they are coming to rescue me and the killer is close, I'll die so they don't risk it. But, if I see it's safe for them to come, I'll stay and get rescued.

Sometimes you got nothing to lose and I know I would try to rescue in that scenario

  • (Edit: I take back what I said about toxic encounters)

I no longer consider anything toxic and by that I mean I sometimes encounter toxic killers and toxic survivors but I get that they could have had a toxic team before or they just needed to make someone's match miserable to feel better and I made peace with that.

Fair enough it's not fun to match up against those type of killers where you don't enjoy the match as much as if they played a bit more but it does make me appreciate the ones that aren't so... Life

    -Memento

    -In Bruges

-Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

    -Forrest Gump

    -No Country for Old Men

-Life is Beautiful (Benigni's 1997 film - there are several other movies that share the same name)

    Life is beautiful... <3

  • In no specific order:

    - The green mile

    -The Departed

    -The great dictator

    -The dark knight

-Aladdin (og Disney not the rework)

    -Pulp Fiction

    -Blackkklansman

    -Django

    -The fight club

    -Rocknrolla

The thing when I started listing is that one reminded me of another one and so on.

Ready Player One was also a movie that had so many references to classics that I loved.

Same with Toy Story 4 and the toys from my childhood (ducky and bunny are the best characters).
