When the Killer was the Host, Dead Hard was the same it is today.
I think that many complaints come from Killer Mains who just got used of non-functioning Dead Hards where the Survivor pressed it in time, but ended up Exhausted on the ground.
Current DH is not really different from pre-Dedicated Servers-DH.
Killers with higher than normal ping usually ended up having more exhausted on the ground Survivors, if they had nice conections it was similar to what we have today, but more than 150ms and DH was a gamble.
-
Dead Hard wasnt that great when the Killer was the host of the match or it wasnt validated by the server, Exhausted on the ground wasnt just a meme, was a reality and it happened around half the times you used the perk to dodge a hit.
Also what Chewy said, the game had worse things.

Yeah. And their power is just garbage. It should have never left QA. Yet, the released this mess, nerfed this mess and buffed this mess again. And the best thing? Legion is as annoying and as weak as always.
Agreed, Legion as a failed concept is weird, because sounds awful on paper and it is awful in action too. My guess is they are the product of a "we MUST release content every X months" mindset.
There is a point where I just wish they just pruned half the roster, half the perks, half the maps, almost all addons and items, sometimes less is more.

What about the bug when gen regresses to 0% and turns yellow even if noone touches it?
That was changed on June 2021 altough I didnt consider the yellow gen after 0% a bug, it did what the descryption said, "once it stops regressing it goes yellow for X seconds", it never specified it had to be interrupted by a Survvior, I consider the change more of a QoL buff.
Ive been using Surveillance since the first change in 2019, I love the perk and the first time I used it I always tought the whole "white at 0%" was a bug but since they took that much time to fix it I started to think "maybe whats wrong is the descryption alltogether and this is intended" I can understand Blight mains who think of the Hug bug the same, its been there for a long time and you just get used to see and use it because its the new normal.
P.D. I didnt complain when Surveillance got fixed because deep inside I always tought it was bugged, even if it took almost 2 years.

I mean......Define unfun......?
Mending is......Holding m1, right ?
Gen repair is.......Holding m1, right...?
Destroying or blessing totems is......Holding m1 right......?
HOW is mending anymore unfun then anything else survivors have to do....? Besides it getting you closer to your objective. Which is tbagging at the gate and telling the killer how much they suck.
With that said. Legion is boring. But only because despite the changes. He's still garbage and has almost no lethality
Because you have to M1 a certain amount of time to fix all 5 gens, 80 seconds per gen for 5 gens its 400 seconds total, lets say everyone is equally commited to gens so 100 seconds per Survivor only on gens (not counting regression and Thanatophobia, its usually MUCH more than 100 seconds per person), Mending is not unfun per se, its unfun when you have to mend for 12 seconds an absurd amount of times per game AND still put all those 100 seconds on gens, this is especially dull when you take on account there isnt any real counterplay to Feral Frenzy once they have Killer Instinct unless everyone is REAAAAAAAALLY far away which is almost impossible.
Current Legion is M1 on top of more M1, they increase exponentially the sheer amount of "Press M1" you have to do, playing against them is more of a chore than anything else.
I agree Legion dont have much lethality but they make it up with an absurd amount of non-interactive and almost unavoidable stall, same as Forever Freddy and thats what makes them a pain to play against.

Yeah, in October 2020 and the bug was in the game from January 2019, 1 year and 9 months to fix it.

The whole "Its ok now because it has been on the game for so long so its not a bug anymore is a feature" is a ridiculous argument, Surveillance bug was in the game for how much? 2 years? and it got fixed eventually.

I'd prefer it if they invested their time in a long term fix rather than a short term fix.
A bandaid fix could be doubling BP gains permanently and it will take them around 1 minute since they already have the code for bloodhunt events, its literally just making a bloodhunt last for a year instead of a few days.
There are ways to at least mitigate the grinding with barely any work on their part, they just dont want to do it.

And that was fine! The problem is, Nurse was made so strong in an era where it was necessary because loops were super busted. Now, they’re throwing out amazing slowdown perks, nerfed heal speed, nerfed DS (if there was any time the offensive use of DS was justified it was against Nurse!) and it just makes Nurse stronger. If they keep balancing the game to try and give Clown a 50% win rate, then great- I’d be fine with bringing up weaker killers to a fun, fair level of strength. But when they do that by buffing killers as a whole or nerfing survivors as a whole, it just makes Nurse stronger over and over.
Yeah I understand your point and I do agree, I think Nurse dificulty isnt as high as people make her and even if it were it doesnt justify her strength. I was just stating impossible to catch loopers generated a ton of complains and eventually BHVR got rid of them, with a good reason, god-loops were totally busted and they had to go for the game health.
It was just a preemptive strike against the usual "NOBODY EVER COMPLAINS ABOUT LOOPS AND DOESNT MATTER BECAUSE BHVR IS SURV SIDED AND NEVER CHANGES ANYTHING!!" rants that plague these kind of threads.
-
You are not wrong about the outrage against god-loopers impossible to catch, thats why BHVR got rid of infinites on several maps because once you were somewhat decent at running them a M1 Killer couldnt catch you in ages.

Yes, once EW3 ends Survivors will keep seeing the icon, but its just visual bug, they are not exposed but if they dont know the bug it will condition how they play.
First time I played with Myers after the bug I noticed how extremely fast they threw the pallets even when they werent exposed, I tought they were just not very good, truth was they tought they were exposed and afraid of getting downed in one hit.

Honestly, I didn't quite think about that. I decided to put it on Legion because survivors will have less time to hide, and when you hit the first one, you'll have an 8 meter bigger Terror Radius to find other survivors.
You make a really good point with him being more sneaky, especially on indoor maps. But couldn't that kinda backfire if he's in tier 3 and chasing people? I mean the others will probably hide wouldn't they?
Myers works in a weird way, if you play him correctly everyone is always "exposed" either you are on EW3 and properly exposed or you surprise them with your minuscule TR, get one very fast free hit and then they are injured which technically works as exposed, the result is if you play sneaky and well enough most proper chases end after 1 hit (this is not always the case, certain maps are harder to get this done correctly, namely Autohaven maps are hell thanks to an abundance of low walls and his massive size), its unbeliably easy to get that 1 free first hit with an 8 meter radius, he moves at 4,6 m/s, people are literally less than 2 seconds away from your knife when they start hearing it and they dont even know where are you coming from, I believe only Wraith has it easier and maybe Ghostface.
The huge EW3 TR with M&A when you chase is actually great, because as you say, people will hear you and being exposed makes them play in a very defensive way but you are already chasing someone so it doesnt matter if they hide, you cant pressure 2 Survivors at once and if they hide they dont fix gens, this doesnt work that great against SWF but there are ways to deal with them (without tombstone pieces).
P.D. Im a Myers main, I must have around 800 hours on him.

I was thinking, Hatch is very similar a rule almost everyone had here when playing team sports as kids, either football, basketball, volleyball wathever.
Usually on the park kids play these sports with barely any rules, especially not time rules, you could be playing a match of football for 6 hours straight even if an official one lasts only 90 minutes but there was this one universal rule, once it was getting late and dark, when everyone had to go home someone, usually the owner of the ball, would say "i have to go home, next team scoring a goal wins" so we all played until a team scored a goal, the match was over, everyone went home and thats it, didnt matter if the match was 16-2, that rule made the losing team keep playing because "well we can always win at the last goal" and the winning team didnt care because "even if they score the last goal we won, I mean, 16-1 come on", granted there was always "THAT KID" who would brag on the losing team when winning with that rule, even if they didnt score the goal, even if they werent the MVP, even if they suck at the game but most people didnt, they just accepted the game was over and went home knowing it didnt matter because next day there would be another match, with scrambled teams and even if they landed the worst against the best they could still "win" and have some consolation.
Hatch and camping during EGC its the exact same, it gives the losing side some solace and the winning team knows they won and shouldnt care that much about that little tiny consolation prize.
P.D. dont be "THAT KID", nobody likes "THAT KID", he grows to be "THAT GUY" at the workplace and "THAT OLD MAN" at the neighbourhood.

-
I disagree with Myers entirely, M&A benefits him the most of all the rooster (8 meter radius guarantees almost a free hit on any high wall gen which being a M1 with no mobility nor antiloop benefits him more than anyone else), Bamboozle benefits him more than anyone else thanks to increased vault speed on EW3 and while Leatherface gets a lot of use because his one hit down chainsaw Myers does too with EW3.
Beast of prey is useless on everyone and the only one who benefits for it is the Survivor you are chasing because you are playing with 3 perks.
Unnverving Pressence benefits Doctor more than anyone else because it does stack with his madness special skillchecks.
-
Is this thread Poe's law?
-
The map doesnt have a gamebreaking bug or exploit so is not killswitch worthy.
-
I remember when Hatch didnt spawn until at least 2 gens were fixed so if you managed to get a 3K with 4 or 5 gen remaining the last Survivor would completely hopeless and what happened? half the time he would go full immersion and wait until you DCd, the other half he would just let you hook him.
This wasnt something that happened rarely like a lot of the stuff people complain on forums/reddit/generals (full SWAT teams, hackers, godnurses, someone trapping the entire team on Saloon dead end room etc) this happened on a daily basis, It was so common I started to let Survivors fix at least 2 gens when I knew I had the game on the bag just to avoid having to spend 10, 15, 30 or my personal record 47 minutes looking for that last one.
If they were to remove Hatch most people would be begging for it to come back after 1 week, especially now the comunity is so galvanized against eachother. 4K is not worth 30 minutes looking every nook and cranny for someone...
-
But Azarov's and Suffocation are probably 2 of the easiest "normal" maps for Killers in the game, they always have minimum 3 openings for 3gen and sometimes they dont have many pallets or jungle gyms except on the center.
If you really think those are Survivor sided I dont even wanna know what you think about Mother's Dwelling or The Game.
-
I think I know who that person is, I faced the same Spirit with the same skin yesterday, did she spin 720º circle after hitting anyone? if yes then its the same automated cheat using bot.

I want to believe the silence is mainly because they plan to announce everything on the anniversary stream for a "BIG PATCH AND GREAT NEWS FOR EVERYONE!!" because right now the game is in a weird position, while its probably the best it has been mechanical-wise (whoever says 2016/17/18/19 DBD was more balanced either didnt play it or wearing nostalgia googles) comunity-wise its worse than ever, people are really upset about a lot of stuff.
Probably the mounting of issues over issues that go unresolved or bandaided is taking a toll on the players, special mentions, Solo-SWF disparity, Killer strength disparity, massive grind, prevalence of camping and performance issues for consoles, stuff that has been a problem for years and is still unadresed also a ton of annoying stuff that shouldnt even be in the game anymore or shouldnt be implemented.

Boon snuffing is already really fast, why would they make a perk make it faster?
Brutal Strength is not very good, adding a minor effect like faster snuffing and faster closing the hatch wouldnt break it, it wouldnt even make it meta but the people who decide to run it will get a little bit more for the same perk.
In any case as with most things, it could be tried on a PTB to see if its game breaking (albeit I doubt it).

I generally don't always play my best but even when I do just to lose to 4 people insta running at the slightest hint of my terror radius making me spend 20 seconds JUST for 1 hit then spending at least 50 more because DH for distance..... Yeah I don't really think someone played better than me in that situation especially when I'm playing something like clown where he has mediocre speed and decent slowdown that's really only good for antiloop.
Are you telling me all those pro streamers wouldnt be able to win against 4 Survivors using DH ever? because thats a lie, they do win against 4 DHs on a daily basis, sometimes they even curbstomp those games, if they can do it then anyone can do it too, it may be hard, it may force people to analyze why they are getting smashed, it may require people to play better but its doable... so yes, you may have lost at least some those games because they were the better players.

hiding on the edges of the map as release Claudette hoping the Killer got bored and he DCd was a strategy Survivors could use
No, this is called "holding the game hostage", not a strategy. First of all, it is, technically speaking, still a thing and secondly, it is bannable, because it forces the match to a standstill of undefined length.
This does not apply to camping nor tunneling, as both are legitimate ways the Killer can progress their side of the objective.
And whether you like it or not, tunneling has become a necessity at this point. You are absolutely right, its boring, uninteractive and unfun for everyone involved, but not doing it comes close to throwing the game as Killer. Heck, I literally quit this game because i didnt want to be forced to camp and tunnel out all my matches!
But here is the harsh reality: you can not fix those issues. Camping and tunneling will always be a thing. What are you planning to do about a Killer not leaving the area of a hooked Survivor? And what about a Killer focussing one guy over the others? Whats the solution here, ban them? You'd have to fundamentally redesign how Killers progress their objective for this, remove hooks alltogether and do something entirely different that the Killer can't just camp or tunnel off, but you don't fix this by giving Survivors BT basekit.
But this isn't really what my comment was about. Not at all, actually. What I said was, that Survivors have clear counterstrategies to those Killer strategies already and acting like they didn't is plain out wrong.
And like I said, I don't mind improving on them either, a ping system for example would do wonders against campers! Make it less enticing of a strategy to use and people will stop using it (yes there are going to be those poeple that will use it no matter what, but they are a clear minority), but right now, it is the best way for Killers to try and win in this game.
Before we buff Survivors again maybe we should stop for a second and think about why Killers use these strategies so much.
Fix the root of the issue, not the symptoms.
The Claudette hiding is not exactly holding the game hostage because the Killer could find and kill her but sure I concede, it doesnt count as strategy but is still an example of something that sucked and got changed for the better (the rest of the examples are still valid tho).
Onto the tunneling, you can always make a system similar to Pyramid Head cages or something like Home Sweet Home Survive where you could pick the soul of a fallen teammate and revive them at a safe location (or so I think, I watched some videos and it was something like that), there is ways to try to get rid of camping or at least mitigate it so its not that profitable, my biggest concern is a full camping oriented Killer right now usually gets at least 2 kills without doing much and while you are right it may never go away it could be changed to a way the Killer rarely gets anything else than 1 kill, right now if someone gets a down before there is at least 100% gen progression around the map (1 gen at 50%, 2 at 25% for example) with a full camping build+NOED the Killer is getting 2 kills almost always, there is just not enough time to fix everything in 150 seconds.
Also on a sidenote, if camping gets reworked into a less powerful tool I expect certain things for Survivors would change like how the gens are progressed, right now you cant increase the time it takes to fix a gen (either the raw time "holding m1 for 90-100 seconds instead of 80" or the "pick a spare to jumpstart the gen first") because then camping becomes unstoppable, and this is just an example of stuff that could be changed or tweaked but right now is hard because how fragile the balance on the game is, a fix for A needs also a fix for B.
"Before we buff Survivors again maybe we should stop for a second and think about why Killers use these strategies so much."
This is going to be a very unpopular opinion, because a lot of them are bad and camping is very profitable against Solos, I remember this streamer who sucks, we are talking about "Mariana's Trench MMR" levels of suck like the guy could get to BL3 on a safe pallet and still take 60 extra seconds to land a hit, he manages to get all his 3k and 4k against Solos while camping hard, thats why he camps, because otherwise he wouldnt even land a kill but not because the game is broken or Survivors OP but because he is god awful at this. I play Killer, I play Myers, Jigsaw and other technically weak Killers, I never camped except on EGC situations and I honestly never felt the need to camp to win a game, I do slug if I think it can add more pressure than a hook at the moment tho.
-
For me tunneling is when a Killer actively focuses exclusively on one Survivor ignoring the rest even if he has a better chance of downing them, it does exist albeit tunneling alone is exceedengly rare, its usually paired with camping or proxy camping.
I dont considering finding the same guy 3 times on a row tunneling because it lacks intent, that person just sucked at stealth and the Killer just happened to find her instead of the others.
-
I also believe the MMR has changed either intentional or bug, as Survivor I get paired with some very bad Survivors, Im not that good myself but Ive been paired consistently with people who cant last more than 20 seconds in a chase even against mediocre Killers. As Killer its similar, I get 1 very bad Survivor, 1 good one, 1 average and the last one is a wildcard. Im on Steam and I can check playtime, Ive been playing with and against people between 200 hours and 3000 while I have close to 2000, makes no sense.
-
Its not that great, the effect is nice but it only works if you spread damage a lot and in small maps, other than that its ok, better than before but I dont think it has much room in builds outside spread damage focused builds, which was its niche before the buff anyway.
-
@Mister_xD said:
Tunneling / Camping are strategies the Killers can use.
And, as is the case with all other strategies, there are counterstrategies the Survivors can use to punish this behavior.
If the Killer is camping, do generators. They willingly dropped all map pressure for a good 2 minutes, so abuse that.
If the Killer is tunneling, first of all, don't save in their face. Should they still ignore you, you can sandbag them when they try to search for the unhooked Survivor by making scratch marks of your own or bodyblocking doorways to force a hit on you instead. That way you can stall the Killer and it might just be enough to allow the other person to get away from them / at least find a good chase spot. There is no way for you to reliably shut down tunneling, if the Killer decides they want someone dead and only goes for them, you can't change anything about that - but you can punish it by making sure they lose tremendous amounts of time on this one person, so the Killer, once again, drops all their map pressure.
Those are all "basekit options" the Survivors have to deal with this.
We can improve on those - for example by using a ping system that allows a currently camped player to tell their team to do gens instead of trying to save them, but ultimately Survivors already have a way to deal with those things.
I disagree being strategies a side can use doesnt mean something has to exist, hiding on the edges of the map as release Claudette hoping the Killer got bored and he DCd was a strategy Survivors could use and not a very engaging, fun and constructive one for anyone involved so it had to go, same for full sabo builds when hooks didnt respawn, body blocking the hook so it was impossible to even get the "unhook" prompt, abusing infinite loops and an insane long list of design flaws that were prunned entirely and the game only got better.
Something being in the game doesnt mean it has to stay that way, there are plenty of strategies that got axed because they were horrid to deal with and the definition of frustrating.

I agree with this, it's something I've suggested in the past.
Being unhooked should award the same non-collision as getting injured.
It would benefit both survivors and killers. Survivors wouldn't be unhooked just to go down instantly after being farmed off the hook, and killers won't be cheated out of a hit to the unhooker by a BT bodyblock.
But that's a very niche example of tunneling, which could still occur aftranother couple seconds, and would still require BT to counter.
Maybe they could rework BT, give a lessened endurance as base kit and make BT give the unhooked no collision and/or a speed increase similar to Sprint Burst after being unhooked (maybe without exhaustion or with a reduced exhaustion penalty).

I also don’t think she needs buffs. But your earlier point is still blatantly a lie. I agree tunneling and camping isn’t fun for survivors and that warrants a change, but I think a straight buff to survivors to deal with it wouldn’t be the right thing to do. A lot of times when playing as killer, I feel more like I’m playing against the game design rather than against the survivors and that feels REALLY bad. Some kind of anti-tunnel/camp survivor basekit buff would just add to that.
I wish they devised a way to get rid of camping all together except after the Exit Gates are powered.
Tunneling itself is not that bad unless its paired with camping or proxy camping, when you pair the two unless BT and/or DS the tunneled person almost always gets downed again in less than 20 seconds, if you remove camping from the equation the tunneled still has time to hide or heal and a proper chance at getting chased again and ditching the Killer.

Hmm, what’s that? Oh, that’s the goalposts moving off into the distance. You are completely wrong on Retribution. And I don’t know why we’re going off theoretically with no proof as to future changes when the perks as is are incredibly good. Universal strong buffs aren’t needed for any killer.
Well you are one of the few people on this forum who actually thinks universal buffs are not needed but thats not the majority as we can read new "buff gen regression" "nerf most Survivor perks" and other similar threads which are very well received by a lot of people here almost daily.
About the goalposting, well I talked about giving Nurse more buffs which isnt needed and even counterproductive because the stronger she is the harder it is to balance the game, then you appeared and started talking about Retribution and perks but sure, it was me the one moving goalposts and changing the subject... wathever you say pal...

Which is why new strong perks have come out that are good or amazing on her, as well as perks like Hex: Retribution getting a significant buff which is even stronger on her. Yep. Also, killers don't really need a universal base buff in the first place beyond maybe base regression not being so useless.
I wish people would actually give evidence instead of saying random nonsensical make-believe statements.
Retribution is still a weak perk, with the buff is not useless anymore but isnt amazing for Nurse or for anyone also any strong perk released that doesnt deal with pallets and windows is orders of magnitude stronger on Nurse because her basekit is esentially broken, also take on account wathever they released from Cenobite onwards still has to pass the period of grace before they start changing them, they dont change perks until some months have passed unless there is a real problem with them and I believe certain perk combos are going to get tweaked in the near future.
As you said "Killers may need better base regression" not gonna happen in a meaningful way when you have such disparity between Killers, Nurse being the worst offender, you can hope for more stuff like Call of Brine but base strong buffs? forget it, there hasnt be many of those in a very long time, most of what Killers are getting are either individual buffs, some perk reworks and nerfs to things Nurse already ignores like vaults, pallet distribution/density and stuff like that.
-
Yes a buff, exactly what Nurse needs...
Dont you people realize as long as current Nurse is in the game the Killers will never receive any meaningful base buff? She also deters the appearance of stronger perks.

Yeah, behavior should put a bot button in and the 3 of us that didn't D/C can bot out for a new Lobby and the killers can get a small challenge. There's just no point in any of it at that point 5 gens with 3 Survivors.
I think they should also put a "concede" option once someone DCs, maybe first ask "do you want to continue with a bot?" if every Survivor votes "no" then it should ask "do you want to concede?" if 3 players (Killer included) vote yes then the game ends.
-
As Survivor it depends on how many gens are left, someone DCs when there are 1 or 2 left? I keep playing, 3 or more? I just go to a hook and suicide, no sense dragging a game thats going to be a 3k minimum.
As Killer I play normally, I find is usually faster to just kill the other 3 than letting them finish the gens.

Having a monopoly is not good, especially not for consumers, if any other game of this genre starts gaining momentum maybe it will shake them up into fixing the worst aspects of this game like the grinding, the performance and other stuff instead of having "Yes, we are looking into the grinding but its going to take an absurd amount of time and we are not issuing any bandaid, in the meanwhile have a UI update nobody asked for and gives eye strain".
People, myself included, believe having competition will serve as a wake up call so they can focus on critical issues instead of pointless stuff, that being said, I dont want the game to crash and burn, there is a middle point between how things are now and DBD disappearing like Evolve.

I did before they started to put lore thats longer than Hamlet or the Quijote and messing with everyones established lore in the Archives, Hag tome being one of the worst offenders, I believe the lore and writting are getting worse by orders of magnitude, luckily they dont affect gameplay at all so if they want to go that route I dont mind.
I honestly dont know a single thing about most characters released after Oni/Yui (both included), I dont even know where Artist and Jonah were born.

I don't care much for the alternate universe type side stories, but I care about the character lore and I get annoyed or sad when something in the tomes contradicts the previous stories (such as the Nurse or Legion, where their initial lore painted them as much more sympathetic and a bunch of dumb kids in over their heads respectively, and the tomes gave them much darker motives slash open psychopathy - or Hag, whose tome lore focuses mostly on her friend and seems to paint her as living in a generic modern day society, when her original lore had her living in a tribal backwater, and was a setting where a society of evil swamp cannibals made way more sense.) Meanwhile, I really like when characters get really solid tome lore that brings depth to the character while staying true to the core of who they were presented as, like Wraith, Billy, and Trapper, and I'm beyond thrilled when we get licensed tome lore.
I always tought Hag was someone from ~1850 or so, first sentence on her old lore literally says "Lisa Sherwood grew up in a quiet village, mainly isolated from the rest of civilisation." and it talks about cannibals, then suddenly you have a teenager with english teachers, cars, commodities etc in what looks like a 70s/80s setting, settlements of cannibals in USA in modern days? really?. It was like whoever wrote it didnt even look at her established story other than "her name is Lisa Sherwood".

Same I usually just run selfish perks for solo Q. Way too many nightmarish matches and I will routinely get left to die / die on first hook anyways even with a full team-oriented build.
Sometimes I will get a really good team and feel bad for not running BT or something but honestly the stompy (in both directions) matches far outweigh the tightly knit matches where a single BT can save the game.
Usually it's my team being completely slaughtered at 4-5 gens left or the killer getting stomped and having so little pressure my perks were irrelevant anyways. So I bring perks for the "team slaughtered at 5 gens left" games
I dont feel bad about having a full "ME!!" build because it lets me run the Killer for more time than if I had a team oriented one, giving the rest of the team a bigger window to fix gens, as long as your build and gamestyle helps progress the game its ok, the major drawback is as Im on my own so are they, especially when there is only 1 gen left and onwards but thats the first golden rule of Solo queue.

I consider Empathic Connection awful because its like Empathy but it can be used by someone to drop the Killer in top of your head even if you are injured and in death hook while they are havent been hooked once. It could be argued it can be used by someone to find a teammate to tank a hit but Empathy can be used the same way but you decide if you want to do it instead of being forced by a third party.
For me in Solo I use perks that benefit me and are easy to activate, Solo is hell and unless you get one of those rare lobbies where everyone has similar skill you get way more value of non niche egoistic perks than altruistic or niche ones. For example Iron Will, makes you harder to detect even if someone leads the Killer to you by accident and its almost impossible to not get value out of it, same as Spine Chill or most exhaustion perks.
