Limit to Buffing and Nerfing Killers

So BHVR does their shenanigans and buffs and nerfs killers, but what is the limit and how do you know when a killer is balanced a lot of people say Demogorgon is the most balanced killer in the game and that's a fair opinion, Lets take Trapper for example should you keep buffing or nerfing a killer like giving him more traps or a new ability to killers?, should you buff/nerf a killer to they are like a high/mid tier killer? or is there a more a effective way to know when a killer is Balanced. By the way this is your opinion and #BuffShape

  • There was a time when hillbilly was considered the most balanced killer and look what happened to him. The only real problem was a combination of add-ons for insta saw.

They will buff or nerf whatever killers they want. If they feel a killer is over performing they will nerf them regardless of what the community thinks.

  • I think Blight is the best example.

He is unique, very fun to play (and not terrible to go againts generaly speaking) and has one of the best base kits in whole game.

Some of his addons are too much sure but other than this he is super fine.

I play Hillbilly and he's still very powerful, he's just very difficult to learn. Think of him kind of like Nurse. Anyway, I'm pretty sure the developers nerfed him because he was getting way beyond a 50% kill ratio (This was before MMR, but they still had the stats). I disagree with them adding the roar, but the overheat mechanic and insta-saw add-ons was deserved

  • A balanced killer is a killer that is worth viable to play the player killer without requiring additional modules that must be really interesting and bonuses and not infernally hard to counter and stand by the survivors players.

So the trapper should be buff in this way to me :

     Base Kit :

10 traps are placed in front of windows and pallets on the entire map.

The trapper always have these two basic traps.

All traps placed will reset every 25 seconds.

     There.

That way you have a good viable and playable trapper without add-ons (it would rework based on the idea presented) and survivors can always counter it but feel pressure to survive and have fun all the same rather than stay chill on a generator.

That was something a lot of people parroted but not everyone agreed, instasaw Hillbilly was broken beyond belief but since he was the easymodo stomp-a-lot people who wanted low effort 4k used that narrative.

Forever-Freddy was also in a very sweet spot balance wise according to a lot of people...

  • The golden standard for design and balance is Nurse/Blight

  • While killers get camp and tunnel and use noed, killers nerfs won’t stop

    Only 10 auto arming traps??

Auto put traps at every vault and pallet and if survivors disarm them their hand is cut off and they can't do generators anymore

Nah. That would make him a brainless Killer. The whole point of trapper is being smart where you place them. If 10 would already be around windows and pallets you would get survivors based on Luck not skill

  • No killer should be below B tier.

Not every killer should be S tier either though.

Trapper is not skill based. Trapper is an IQ test for the Survivors.

i think the perfect tier is like A tier

No killer is brainless, everyone asks to gauge when to activate their power, when to deactivate it, when to go to M1 etc. The interest of my idea does not harm the concept of the trapper, The interest is to win a lot of time.
