It's six survivors hit maximum infected, which means they have to cleanse and be reinfected.
Just pretend you're a fountain of Mountain Dew/Kool Aid and have at it.
-
Yeah you have to scratch the surface to figure out who the All-Kill survivor is. I think even Jane got more attention in the reveal trailer for The Plague.
I know survivors at their core are just reskins, but it would be cool to see survivor skits and trailers in the same vein as "Meet the X" Team Fortress 2 does.
-
Ty guys. I had a feeling there was still more to learn about this killer. Now that I can use other perks I have a feeling the generators are going to slow down a little.
-
When I use the plague I generally hold the button down for one or two seconds, then turn my mouse so the vomit comes out in a crescent shape. If the survivor is being really tricky though I hold the purge down and fire it up and down vertically so if they're ducking behind something it's more likely to hit them. It's one of those things you feel out. Give it time.
Edit: Turns out I do not actually move my house vomit with the plague. That would be too much work. My mouse on the other hand...
-
If people remembered the perk instills would be spelled properly.
It would be cool if it decreased an item's charges over time instead of on use. Survivors going for a flashlight save might work but at that point why not run Lightborn? I'm in the killer's radius and I see the diamond icon on my HUD. Now's the best time to use my toolbox or med kit!
Hmm.
-
I make sure the killer can see me before I self care but I am usually on top of a hill. The killer has to make a decision to drop chase with you and go after me or simply admire my air guitar skills.
-
Dead by Daylight: Tank Controls edition.
If one of the survivors doesn't have white shoes I'm gonna be very confused.
I also want the umbrella charm.

I feel like a free basement teleport would be a bit too much. The thing that keeps the basement balanced is the fact that you can't always get to it if the down happens to far away, it's an opportunity based advantage. If a killer that is good at hard camping the basement (Bubba, Trapper, Hag, etc.) could just send you there guaranteed with 0 effort required, that would be very broken. Look at what else would be accomplished by allowing a basement teleport on survivors: Killer doesn't have to waste any time carrying the victim, negates anything the survivors could potentially do to try and help the victim not get sent down there, and just negates all survivor perks that revolve around escaping the killer's grasp.
It's not so much that the perk is good or not, it's what you give up to get that utility. You could be running killer meta perks and do a lot more with less but instead you're using a meme perk for a cheeky build.
-
Think of this in the same way you see Pyramid Head's judgment:
1/2/3 times a match you can send a survivor straight to the basement from wherever you are. That would be quite a buff in my eyes. Quick and simple.
-
I could probably play in first person as a survivor. The only time I think it might be a real issue is when you've got your face buried in a generator. You'd take the terror radius a lot more serious or position yourself to watch doorways to make sure you're not grabbed.
You'd definitely go down faster in this mode just from sheer lack of awareness.

"32 knifes to stun the killer for 2s"
This is the survivor buff we all need. Especially if the knife thrower makes a loud noise notification every time they throw a knife.
All four survivors get to the exit gate? You don't have to worry about teabags anymore...
-
It's lulling them into a false sense of security.
Yeah.
-
I looked at the list and was like 'Where's Dwight?' but I missed him and he completed a generator.
Good to see he's in B tier though.

If you go for the achievement, be mindful that there' a bug that injuring with knifes doesn't count as winning a chase so you'll be an M1 for almost all the match, throw some knifes in order to win some points, try to get the first hit with your M1 and you can try to down them.
Well I can't say I'm too surprised, I think it took me like, 2 days or something to get Oni Adept because of liberal use of his bloodlust so it's not the first time I've completed the finicky.
In terms of Team Fortress 2, the new character LOOKS like scout with a bat, but in order to pull off this adept I will have to channel my inner Heavy from Tf2 going melee only.
-
Good luck champ. On the 14th I'm going for the Adept so you're braver than me.
I hope many emulate your unrivaled style.

They also censored the word "Reddit" lmao
To be fair that...that thing is pretty terrifying. Too much for a horror game.
-
Playing the air guitar when injured gives me new life and the strength to carry on.
-
It's always a good feeling when you decide on a whim to play Jake and then the next thing you know Bubba's swinging around the corner in a Claudette mask and you're NOT getting away.
-
My experience with the glowing eyes, orange or blue, is that you can see them from across the map because the glow is bright and the maps are dark.
Weirdly enough for me its sets. If I see someone in a full set costume, I feel like they're going to be a little more try hard. If I see someone with a mixed set (like three parts from three different outfits) they're generally more chill and fun. You'll still die sure but it'll be with a smile.
-
Don't be afraid to stop chasing a survivor. You can always catch the survivor later, but you can't uncomplete that generator.
...and yes that sometimes means letting a generator go. If you have three generators close together and one waaaaaay out on the other side of the map, let the survivors do that far gen. Certain killers, especially ones with one hit downs, can make those kind of situations really rough.
-
I'm better with Trapper but I also have a lot of experience/practice. For a newbie just out of the box they're probably going to have more success with Wraith.
-
I'm definitely surprised. Having a machine gun killer where if you miss your ranged attack one time it's not such a blow to you, but you still can't miss all the time and get results.
I've never seen a Korean as threatening or the type to be a killer, so seeing one in this light is a bit uncanny but fun. I think I could get used to it. It's clearly flashy K-pop stuff which I've only glanced at, but that's kinda cool in a way.
The survivor seems cool and I like the theme. I'll probably fidget with some of the perks in some meme builds, like Killer I would use Bitter Murmur, Remember me, New killer gate perk, Blood warden or something.
The survivor pallet perk seems useful against Spirit Fury/Enduring. So that's kinda niche but neat. I like the chapter overall.

I don't think they do it on purpose. They probably google about the topic, click on first link they find and continue the 5 yo thread.
This. There's no training manual to the internet, especially when it comes to forum etiquette. I could just imagine the pain though, replying to someone that has been inactive for like 900 days and expecting a response, then a bunch of strangers are mad at you for reasons you don't understand.
Feels good man.
-
Dead by Daylight is actually a stageplay and nobody gets hurt, but your character had a malfunction with the blood packet on their chest and kinda broke immersion.

Well this is BHVR's only game so they have no source of income, I heard they're working on a killer that throws axes which will be free and they'll make more free ones I can't wait!
I can't wait to see what free killers come out after that. That was so cool.
-
Well from what I keep seeing is that they'll change something and not be able to change it back, from better for worse which tells me that the original people that wrote the game's code are probably gone and the people fidgeting with it now aren't really that familiar with it. If something breaks (which it does) they might get fired but...welllll...it's a job, not a passion project for them. Part of me feels like they don't have full access to the guts of the game or if they do, they may not understand the code that was used to write it. Everyone codes differently.
We just have to look at it for what it is. It's Canadian software with a heavy French influence. Maybe this is some big brain play us Americans just aren't smart enough to get.
-
He just outskilled you by spawning in the right place.
-
I mean the new UI is great for me. In the bottom left where you used to have all your game information you now see your killer's power and the add ons you brought. That's information I would have never been able to figure out at any point prior to the match so thanks to muscle memory I always know what rarity of add on I brought. It's great.
Then if you look at the bottom right you have the old tried and true perks. That's a classic.
The only thing I would really change is I would make the useful information in the top left even smaller, or get rid of it all together. Things like that and the generators remaining are in the right spot being out of eyesight most of the match and who needs that information anyway.

What determines progress exactly?
Every time you finish a match you get a small amount of Rift Exp, or if you finish a challenge in the rift and claim it that adds to your progress. If you play over 40 hours of Dead by Daylight a month then the rift might be finishable but if if you're playing like...five hours a week I wouldn't give it a second glance. It ain't happening.
-
I'm not going to look all over my screen for information, especially when I'm paying attention to other things going on in the game. In an era where you're trying to give survivors/killers more information, you're giving them less.
-
I do like Zanshin unironically. We've all prematurely slashed at a pallet spawn location to hit the survivor before they drop the pallet for a stun only to realize they're gone and the pallet was broken earlier in the match.
Don't lie, you've all done it.
It's just hard to fit Zanshin into a build.
-
I ripped off my shirt and ran through their offices while screaming that they did a good job, smashed a wall with my fist and threw a chair breaking a window then left after punching an intern.
Despite the positive feedback they were not impressed.
-
Dwight is the most powerful character in the universe. He's your everyman doing his everyday.
To me if Dwight had to be based off anyone I thought it was Matt Cote.
-
I've played this game without sound a bit, and you just have to treat it like you're playing against stealth killers as survivor and use intuition as killer. I always do feel sound is overrated BUT I see no reason this game shouldn't have minecraft style subtitles. Those sounds are there to aid your experience, right? Right?
Sometimes I think I do better when I don't have the sound on because I can't be scared off of a gen by the terror radius and commit, since the killer is either chasing you or they aren't, but that's just me.
-
One time it was down to a 3v1 and my Dwight was trying to protect the other two survivors by getting Myers attention. I had to, because I was the only good runner and I saw that one was on the hook and the other girl was trying to go in for the save.
So I teabagged, clicked, and beckoned Myers over. The taunt failed. As soon as that survivor got unhooked Myers turned around and went back for them. I was the only survivor that match. :<
-
Yes sir
-
I usually dodge if it feels like there's going to be a killer in the match. I'm there to win and I don't need someone trying to throw me on a hook.
-
All of those red rank killers didn't start there. Lots of matches were lost on the way there. In fact for me, matches run together so I evaluate my day as a whole instead of a per match basis.
Try to roleplay if you need to. What would motivate your character, what would they do? That helped me.
(Also keep in mind a lot of survivors play to die and get upset if you don't take your games seriously.)
-
-
Dora the Explorer. Can you tell me where the survivor is hidden?
-
When I play Dead by Daylight I'm on a PC. Monitor isn't huge, standard I think. Takes up the entirety of my vision so I can see things out of the corner of my eye and I'm always looking straight on. I do remember enjoying playing Call of Duty on a TV though.
I like small screens, but to each their own.
-
It's going to be 'We Will Rock You' but instead of claps, bear traps slamming shut.
-
Congrats! It took me like 10 games because I'm a gen jockey but I was forced into runner a few times and didn't get the necessary gen pops. Perks are overrated. Just do the gen. *flexes on the killer*
-
The longer you stay in one area of the map, the more corrupt it gets to the point that tentacles start coming out and injuring survivors and stunning killers, blocking generators/exit gates and hooks etc.
It could even start the end game timer if it's a 3 gen situation if it drags on long enough.
-
Guess ya better...Switch to another platform. Zing zow ka-ka-ka-powwwwwwwww
I'm not funny I'm sorry.
-
Usually when I don't do gens I end up getting sacrificed.
-
It's perfectly normal to like the game but not be into it. I'm going to hop back in at the next rift/killer release. It's good not to let a game like this become routine imo.
-
All survivors would be given tank controls and the killer would be forced to yell STARS as they slowly walk around the loop.
-
They could make a score point that equals struggle as a reward for making it to the end of the trial.
Like...Finale. +1000 points in survival.
