The sole existance of this thread implies you are not even decent at survivor.
It takes less than four minutes to complete gens and escape. 4 minutes (even less if killer didn't get hook during first minute), get over yourself.
-
Why do you want to nerf mories so badly? Survivors don't have any mercy burning Haddonfield and taking 4x balanced adrenaline and neither should you.
Mories are fine, killer is a killer, remember? I would actually like to see a buff to ivory: if you havent use it, mori is still in your equipment.
-
@Angelino244 There are no such things as killer main in you understanding. To be good killer one need to play survivor regurarly, but other way arround - no.
-
Go play killer. Reach rank 1. Then come back and tell us how fun it was to face swf on Haddonfield every fifth game.
Its eirher this or you will face nurses only. Swf needs adressing, we presented multiple solutions that would fix the problem but devs just choose to ignore. Every time you go full swf you make another survivors face angry nurse later on.
-
Noed is so bad perk it hurts. I still like to take it from time to time to catch off guard people to dumb to do totems.
-
Struggle phase is fine as it is imo.
-
Killers are fine. Its maps that need tweaks.
Burning Haddonfield, Red forest or Crotus prenn and taking balanced landing should not be an almost guaranteed win.
-
Its funny how most people don't even know what holding the game hostage even is... Slugging or doing anything during egc has no potential to last indefinately and thus is not holding hostage.
-
I don't blame any killer that dodges swf. Odds of offerings with broken maps go way to high with swf. It also takes no skill to beat any killer with free communication so yeah... cry a river. Survivors are doing it to themselves.
-
Killer that if played by decent player you feel you can't afford to disrepect at any point of the trial.
Billy - instadown, very reliable one.
Nurse - You're not stealthing? Adorable.
Trapper - Constant trap paranoia.
-
Hag isn't about chasing, she is about cornering people. She has a vast set of addons to really change her power into something completely else.
You are just not playing her well. Fast trap placement made her more than viable.
-
Game was, is and always will be unbalanced in favour of survivors. There are 2 reasons for this:
In team of 4 its common thing to find at least potato. Good killers can easly steamroll by abusing weakest link.
We need more survivors than killers.
Game is in the closest to balanced state it ever was and for this i'm grateful. Its swf that breaks the game (you get info you would only get by sacrificing perk slots, huge factor in game about deciding to go for save or rush gens). I think killers should see swf, so they can grab stronger gear. In the same time dodging should result in longer and longer queue times (this would solve both sniping and dodging).
-
@edgarpoop funny enough its survivors with crutches only and ultra rares that call killers sweaty. Its like 90% from what i have seen xD
-
@Twinbros saying that ruin needs nerf disqaualifies you from discussion. Its not even good perk. If do easy to counter things need nerfs in your opinion i can see why you think nurse is op. Funny enough you say about gitting gud, you truly need some more experience.
@FredKrueger I feel the same.
@noneofyourbusiness Nurse isn't as hard to get into as people say, you just need some thick skin and read about her. For example: one shouldnt try to predict survivors, rather playing by reacting to their movement here and now. Its impossible to juke nurse who plays that way (getting arround shack, not through beeing an example).
-
Survivor is not a challange at all, unfortunately. But that time when you yeet out against decent instahatchet Cuntress feels good.
-
@Kabu not reading entire post, are we? ;)
-
Just like you said "thank you for beeing respectful player towards respectful survivors", if survivor is beeing annoying ######### their chance of getting some toxicity back skyrockets.
Also if you were ######### in one trial, don't expect anything better during next trials. With current steam features its very, very easy to follow and identify players (even when they change names often). And that's good.
-
All you do in your post is complain.
You want some new objective, throw idea that makes sense.
If you get genrushed most of the games, then you do something wrong. Of course, game is still unbalanced in favour of survivors and it takes just holding m1 to win with every killer... but my experience shows that even without ruin or corrupted, even r1 survivors just don't do gens efficiently most of the times. Keep them occupied (sluging, constant pressure).
-
I think 4 minutes is way to long. I don't really like this idea at all to be honest.
I think toth noise notifications should differ, just like those from Spies from the shadows do. Just add small totem icon there.
-
Oh yeah its nice idea, completely makes. Its hard to see anything while you are knocked out, right? I say they still should see auras, just have clown gas effect on them.
-
Lmao, if ruin is your biggest issue its actually time to git gud.
Its not even good perk xD.
-
Countless threads about the same stuff.
If you annoy killer, or killer sees other survivors not doing gens... he is just not going to leave. Literally no reason to.
-
Just use make your choice or irl timer and slug for duration.
Ds is now fine and i say it as person who used to camp every ds abuser.
-
Wow
-
If someone makes braindead stupid save, i'm exploiting that. Stop making stupid plays and most of tunneling will disapear.
-
If you see him stalking you, you run away to window and then loop him for hour or just block line of sight while looking at him in case he ######### up and lets you reveal him. What's so hard about it?
-
@miaasma Well i don't agree with this. When Entire team died doing nothing and there were still 2 gens to do for hatch this perk was super strong. It did its job. Problem was, that building for such rare situations was kinda wasteful in game balanced in favour of survivors. But it did its job, now it literally has no purpose. @Steve0333 has somee point here, but the time you spend doing this last gen (even with left behind) is time Billy or Nurse would use to scout half of the map for hatch already. Better of just camping exit or looking for hatch. Perk has no situation in which it can be useful.
-
Depends on mood. If someone dced early and this person wasnt ######### to me or other survivors (teabagging, stupid saves, sandbagging) they have good chance for it.
Unless i know them for dcing themselves before, then they are moried on sight no matter what.
-
Level whispers only to tier 2. This way you can run arround and start crouching when it lights up without them beeing in terror radius. You need monitor and abuse and whispers 3 to do this or just whispers 2.
-
Its not a bug mate. Its mechanic to prevent killers countering ds to easly. If they want to do so they can, but they can never be sure who has it. @Andreyu44
-
Pity kills are worse than no kills. You are basically sending message "oh poor baby, don't cry, i'm just better and there was nothing you could do, here have a lolli".
Your intentions are not important, this is the message you are sending. So just leave. Exception is when you were farming/nemeing entire trial.
-
I would actually preffer for it be: you can choose any perks from this characters pool and general pool. So if there is Bill, he might not even have borrowed unbreakable, so noone is sure of anything.
-
Don't get found. Calm spirit and Spine chill are your go to perks.
-
If there is only one decisive strike in game, owner is never the obsession, so killers know something is going on, but doesn't know what and on who. Good mechanic.
-
Yet another post about the same. Maybe devs will notice.
My proposition:
If you are last survivor in the trial you get 2/3/4% movement speed and three times that ammount for any other action (healing, repairing, cleansing, opening gates ect).
The idea of this is to be like fire up for killers, doing what other perks do but with different condition.
Its also weaker than hope and wake up, and to combine it one needs to use up many perk slots. It fits the perkd theme tho, as those are exactly what survivor needs as last dude.
My other proposition is to add: slows end game collapse timer by 10/20/30%.
-
Only his prestige and hollowed blight legs. Others are just weird.
-
Balanced? Maybe, strong? No, 2 nurse blink is super easy to juke.
-
Its scary how many people don't understand why this game is fun to play and how it succeeded.
-
You really don't have anything better to complain?
Without endgame collapse survivors stayed in games for literally ever forcing dc, if killer just bleeds you out its couple of minutes which you can afk.
If you see no difference and you think its double standard then problem is actually in you beeing biased.
-
@lindenis 1 bullshit perk is enough, 16 of them per trial is just boring...
-
Survivor mains don't like nurse because they can't just braindead loop her arround every pallet. She is the killer you need to respect and actually hide from.
That's why she is fun to play against.
-
So you want to buff already best perks? No, exhaustion perks are not a problem at all. I see where you are coming from but there are really more urgent things to deal with.
-
Playing as survivor is chill and relaxing while its the killer side constantly under pressure and game is still balanced in favour of survivors (which is not that bad, we need more survivors than killers).
I play killer when i can afford focusing on game.
I play survivor while watching/eating/drinking something. Which is most of the time due to my work schedule and constantly beeing tired kek.
-
@rha (<-somehow this doesnt want to work for me) Thing is, even if 4man swf is "chill" they still get unfair advantages of knowing what killer it is almost instantly, having built in every possible aura perk due to communication making every killer genrushable with ease. This game relies on information, and if you have all of this without having to sacrifice even one perk slot that is a problem. You can run exhaustion, adrenaline, borrowed with unbreakable or deliverance yet knowing even more than running full detection build. Does that sound fair to you?
Imagine playing against good Billy with corrupt intervention, bamboozle, enduring with spitit fury somehow knowing all that bitter murmur, bbq, whispers and nurses would tell him.
You want your advantages but but you should be ready to face harder trial in return. Huge chunk of survivors go like "of course she has red hatchets and noed, ######### tryhard", yet still they run nothing but crutches themselves. That would happen very rarely against team of randos if killer could see swf groups.
Or make killer get big bonuses for playing against swf that can exceed 32k. More points for sweaty addons xD.
Edit: Majority 4man swf on rank 5-15 are tryhards due to my experience.
-
@se05239 i meant to punish killers who dodge. With slightly longer queues the more they dodge for example.
-
Head on has a lot of issues.
My favourite: it happened only once, i jumped out of the locker and killer didn't get stunned. We looked at each other for like 5 seconds and i jumped back in. Stunned. Lmao
-
It would be a nice thing.
However i see it blocked in manye, many games, so i guess there is some tech reason behind it.
-
@powerbats Still waiting for decicateds :P.
-
I would love to see this. But you would only see Neas, Megs and Fengs
