pebble urban evasion iron will spine chill with a dusty noose
-
Because they're dicks.
Killers can BM too tho, just fyi
-
the end game collapse is to stop survivors holding the game hostage rather than forcing them to act. It gives the killer the chance to open the gate and trigger end game and not have to worry about survivors stealthing it out forever.
That said, many perks to do with the exit gates being open should really come into effect when the gates are powered, not opened.
-
I mean, he's not dead, I think the RIP is a bit dramatic.
-
I just cant understand how she, as an undisputed S tier killer, got nerfed less than Deathslinger, who was B tier at best.
Also, Mother Daughter ring is still disgusting.

Lorewise this is quit accurate.
The entity feeds on suffering and agony, yes. But only when there is a silver lining of hope. It seems that betrayed Hope is a powerful fuel for the Entity and most desired by it. Yes the Killer should win but only after the survivor has had a false silver lining over and over again.
I think the most delicious meal for the entity is a Bloodwarden/NoeD 4k. All survivors saw themself escaping and where full of hope. But then Bloodwarden ruined it and not a single survivor escapes.
This is why the entity should punish camping by the way...the lack of hope and the lack of agony for the other survivors should make the meal quit stale.
There's even something in the lore about the entity discarding survivors who are devoid of all hope as soulless husks, because they are resigned to eternal suffering and it can no longer feed from them. So it needs to give them trials that they can escape, or each survivor would last like a few hours and then it'd have to go get some more, which probably would consume more energy pulling to its realm than it gets feeding from them.
-
you would only ever see like 3 survivors in every lobby then though.
-
What blows my mind is they made him absolute dogshit to play on the PTB, everybody complained that his only strength was gutted with no real buffs given in other areas to compensate, and then between PTB and live they nerfed him EVEN MORE by gutting 2 of his addons.

I don't really see the issue at all with NOED - first of all it can be removed from the game before it's even active and secondly, the killer is down to 3 perks throughout the entire match. I'd also refute that it's used on less skilled killers, i see it used a lot on low mobility killers, which I think is perfectly understandable as those are the ones that are likely to reach endgame more.
I don't think I have ever played against a skilled killer who turned out to have NOED in endgame, outside of meme builds. Rather, we can usually tell if a killer is going to have NOED because they are pretty terrible.
There is no other perk in the game where you find yourself saying "This guy is really bad, so he likely has X perk". It is exclusively the perk of terrible killers who plan to fail.

BHVR really knows their priorities
Only reason I still play him is because I like his design, same with Hill Billy.
tbh they believed wraith was a "wee bit overpowered" so...

They need to finish its NFT first

Pretty sure you’re paying for the charges they have and not hatch.
Green key has less charges than the purple key, which has only 5 seconds of use, and the extra 25 charges are only worth 1k BP from purple to pink.
-
keys should have their rarity and BP cost revaluated after this change, the most expensive item is now one of the least useful. It was arguably already one of the worst compared to medkits and toolboxes.

I love that chase music. Although, will the devs make it where I hear it while I’m playing Spirit as well?
I assumed it was just a bug that you couldnt hear it on spirit, as every other killer in the game this is the case,

Spirit Chase music tomorrow!

Bloodpoints shouldnt be taken account for when used for balance.
27 seconds can be huge.
Thats like a third of the total repair time saved. Per Toolbox (bearing in mind you can have up to 4)

It's made so players with garbage connection was able to outplay u. Somehow they managed to code it so player with high ms has advantage over players with good ms.
If survivor hits pallet and u hit him, game cancels your hit result while sound still applies.
They rly need to revert it back.
that's not how authoritative servers work at all.

All the meta perks. DS, DH, PGTW, Ruin, Corrupt etc
Then game play should be balanced around having no perks both sides.
Then said perks should be made fun(like pebble)/interesting builds(sabo squad, end game killer, basement build), or offering none game breaking advantages (windows).
The fact that some perks give such a huge advantage and there are hundreds of perks that barely get a look in makes me sad.
-
Nurse just has her own rules completely. Outside of a full rework (which would be sad, as she is unique and interesting compared to the rest of the roster) then the only solution I can think of is that she is excluded from using certain perks, or they function differently when used by her. This would allow for them to be buffed for other killers without completely breaking them on her.

Are you kidding? Every Ash I get in my games, Killer or Survivor, is always horrible! They are usually the first to die and they do the most nonsensical things... 😂
I meant Ash as the character, not the person playing him. I'm sure there are plenty of terrible Ash players out there; I'd never know though, because I'm not gonna mess with them incase I get the boomstick to the face.
-
Never chase an Ash because let's be real, he'd ######### most killers up.

Windows Of Opportunity

Yes, with some tweaking perhaps. It's not the same as old undying for 2 reasons: It is not automatic, the killer would have to go out their way to light a totem, taking valuable time to do so (and lets be realistic here, the chance of them doing so without a survivor knowing immediately where it is is pretty slim) and secondly, Boon totems are now a thing, meaning totems are going to be sought out more than before anyway.
Giving a 20+ second timer to curse a dull totem with a hex in all honesty is not going to be very practical anyway, but would give killers more options when their totems do get cleansed.

Tbf Hag's counter play is SWF so you havent seen anything yet
-
Take it to the next level and take a tombstone piece with Myers but dont use it unless for this exact purpose.

this made me lol. Blood wardened by Heisenberg.

That's the spirit!

urban evasion now meta

OP:
if you can’t kill without perks, you cant with perks unless they carry you.
Also OP:
refuses to let me use ds to i crawled to the gate. i wasn’t gonna leave my friend behind so i stayed, used unbreakable
-
combined with haunted too and its extra spicy.
-
Oni even tho i hate him
-
Because whenever another new and exciting looking perk is added to the mix, it is nerfed into oblivion before it makes the cut. Remember when lucky break threatened to shake up the meta? Remember when people were genuinely excited about gearhead?
They don't want to nerf old perks (with a few notable, obviously busted exceptions) because they have been as they are for so long, but at the same time won't introduce any new powerful ones for fear them being too OP. So the old meta remains king until they either nerf them and upset their users, or add new powerful perks and upset the other side. Lose lose.
-
I don't know about any of that really, but I do believe undetectable should also reduce the noise of killer footsteps/breathing. Demo undetectable addons are worthless when all you hear is THUD THUD THUD THUD whenever he's approaching

There’s also Midwich.
Midwich has open rooms and long corridors, you can see him coming from a mile away. Plus it has countless pallets which you can loop him round for an absurdly long time, even the unsafe ones, due to his low movement speed and non-existent lunge. Throw in the huge map size and his terrible movement speed, and its gg ez for the survivors. You can get a few decent jump scares as they leave rooms, but they'll catch on awfully quick and it fast becomes incredibly unfun.
-
Also, scratched mirror Myers will only have Lery's as a viable option since the Game became pallet city. That's the real tragedy here.
-
They should just make Dawkin's Lab and have it exactly the same but a slight different colour and less #########.
-
DBD isnt meant to be balanced.

because i like being a ninja without wasting a perk slot for monitor & abuse
T1 Myers would be the slowest ninja ever. Maybe it should also increased his t1 movement speed. Otherwise all 5 gens will probably be done before you even reach your first t3

Pig: Iridiscent Blade
Ambush attacks instadown survivors.
No sound warning when using an ambush Attack.
Ambush speed slightly reduced.
Myers: Iridiscent Knife
Doubles the amount of Evil within needed to tier up.
Passes from Tier 1 to Tier 3.
After Tier 3 ends goes back to Tier 1.
Why would you want to go back down to t1 on myers lol

Ghostface
Iridescent teabag: Tremendously increases crouch and uncrouch speed

agree with overwhelming presence. It showed up in a video yesterday and i had to look up what it actually did. I thought it was just like another distressing or something.

I think that would be rather unbalanced, considering most survivors are ok playing the game injured.
no speed boost from the first hit though. But yeah probably a terrible idea.

what if... no mither granted a permanent haste bonus?

Jake and David as Sam and Dean Winchester, respectively.

All healing perks and items are rendered useless against Plague, at least most of the time. One of the reasons I hate her power.
The problem if Diversion is changed to work on undetectable killers is that it would double as a detection perk for free.
Maybe it could be charged by repairing generators like Blast Mine and Flashbang instead? Or a combination of both ways?
Having sight of the killer would be cool and pretty thematic, kind of like how you can reveal ghostface but less restrictive. The longer you look directly at them, the more the timer goes down. Then stakeout would be an actual stakeout and not just "about to be murdered"
-
Kinda funny, I've always hated spirit because she was unfun to play against and I assumed that everybody playing her was playing her for easy wins and not because they enjoyed playing her.
Imagine my surprise then, as a death slinger main, when I saw the community reaction to his nerfs, and I found out that all along I was that which I abhorred.😅
