I do like Hux but he's just clunky which does not feel great on console. Sometimes the biopods won't shoot because the survivor's hitbox is slightly hidden behind an object. I wish they were just auto-turrets.
My biggest issue with him is not emps but maps. If you get sent to a place like Lerys you might as well surrender. I play Dredge sometimes and it also has issues with certain maps but not to this extent.
I'll definitely be playing xeno next. It looks easier to play despite the flamethrowers and janky tail attack.
-
I haven't tried it myself but maybe oppression. You kick one gen and three are damaged and that might trigger machine learning.
-
Once the "honeymoon" is over? Doubt it, maybe the second most popular killer.
I just feel bad for Singularity. It feels like he barely had a chance to shine before he got blown out of relevancy.
-
2.
Basically a more stealthy variant of demo or pig with a stronger ambush/pounce attack.
-
Once and was I playing doctor.
-
New spaceship map
Xeno: Stealth/Chase killer?
Attacks with claws and tail. Maybe the xeno can deploy eggs that survivors need to destroy. Mori will be either facehugger or mini mouth.
No idea on perks.
-
I like him but he can feel clunky to play. He's not the best killer for console that's for sure. The biopods are better suited with a mouse than a controller. Certain maps are terrible for him. Lerys was the worst so far.
Since the tome started I've only seen him once as survivor. Unsurprisingly he struggled to catch anyone and only got one kill by camping.
Unless he gets some more tweaks he's going to be one of those killers you see once in a blue moon.
-
PS4/PS5. I got the game through PS+.
Crossplay is on.

I just got him yesterday and he feels fine on pc. He's a little awkward at first but after a few games he started feeling smooth. I will say tho that getting indoor maps makes his power basically unusable like even compared to billy and such, you are actually just a m1 killer on lerys.
I only heard rumors about Lerys until yesterday when I was sent there.
It was abysmal.
I got one kill and then for some reason one of the survivors decided to hang around rather than just leave (maybe looking for hatch?). I caught them thanks to coup to grace.
-
As a console player it just feels awkward to play him. He was great on release but the nerf kind of just ruined him for me. As others have said he's too clunky.
I can barely tolerate playing a few matches with him before I put him back on the shelf.
-
It really doesn't make sense when you can bypass the cap with codes and login rewards. I saved nearly 4 million bp before Singalarty dropped.
With the event over I'm already over the limit again.
The cap should be at least 3 million so you can unlock the perks and be done with it. If the player wants to keep increasing the prestige then that's up to them.
I understand not wanting players to get burnt out but everyone's different. If a new chapter releases and I don't like the new characters then I'm skipping them. I see no point in wasting my limited resources and I'll probably play something else for the time being.
-
Yeah, I tried it in a slugging build to help out Singularity.
It wasn't pretty but it got the job done.
-
Mains: Doctor, Plague, Demo, Artist, Dredge.
Honorable mentions: Trapper, Wraith, Hag, Wesker, Oni, Knight.
I like Pyramid Head and Nemesis but I have issues with both. Pyramid Head feels clunky after the nerfs and Nemesis is just kind of dull.
I did buy Singularity because I wanted to play a robot killer but he requires a lot of work to get going.
The rest I'm either terrible with or just skipped entirely.
-
Before the event, I think it was 3 (would have been 4 if someone did not DC during the loading screen).
In one match he struggled to get a single kill. In another match, he just gave up once the gens were repaired. I died only once to him because I was in Midwich. I'm really bad on that map in general.
During the event, I played killer more because it was much easier to collect the masks. I played quite a few matches as Hux and I can definitely understand the frustration that other players are having with him.
-
Game - Soulsborne series or Bioshock
Movie - Jurassic Park/World
-
Nurse - If the player is good then the match tends to be over before the first gen pops.
Legion/Twins - Just a boring slog to deal with.
Pig - I hate losing to RNG.
Hag/Leatherface - If they camp then not much you can do.
Dredge - Too dark for me I just get lost.
Pinhead - Can be annoying if no one finds and solves the box.
Other killers mentioned (skull merchant, Knight) I do not encounter frequently but when I do a teammate will often DC and thus the match comes to an abrupt end.
-
Welp, I'm playing FF16 at the moment so I've already moved on.
I only bought Hux. I do like him but he feels clunky and the biopods can be disorientating. Sometimes I can't lock on because of weird hitboxes. Against a good team, the EMPs remain a nuisance.
After a few matches, I'll play somebody else or log off.
-
He's alright to play but I hate going against him on console. The game is already dark as it is without nightfall.
-
I like him but he's takes a lot of work to be successful. The biopods can be disorientating to use. Trying to aim with a controller can be clunky. Sometimes I can't even shoot at the survivor because their hitbox is slightly hidden behind an object. I wish the biopods would just auto-shoot at the survivors and I would occasionally use them as cameras to survey an area.
I don't play as much as I used to and when I do I tend to pick someone who is easy to play or someone who I have more experience with e.g. Doctor.
Once this event is over I'll probably be playing other games until the next chapter.
-
The thing with blood warden is you want to ensure you can get to the hooks before the survivors get out. Sometimes I'll run agitation just in case I have to deal with body blocks or sabotage. Plus it pairs nicely with the Scourge hook perks.
You could also use an oak offering to make the hooks spawn closer together.
-
I only play for a couple of hours a day so I'm still experimenting but I've had some success. My two main issues with him are EMPs and tracking.
Switching between bipods and then returning to hux can be disorientating at times. Tracking perks plus his aura reading addons has helped to compensate.
As far as builds go I generally run corrupt or lethal for early game and then a random mix of other perks. When I use lethal I just start shooting pods everywhere as I walk to the closest survivor.
Other perks I've used:
Bamboozle, fire up, jolt, infectious fright, No way out, Sloppy, Hex: face the darkness, enduring, brutal strength.
-
For survivors Claudette and Feng. I started using Claudette because she was the only survivor at the time that could heal herself with her perks. Once all her perks were unlocked I started using Feng because I liked some of her cosmetics and her perks.
Killer - Doctor
I started with wraith because he was easy to play but once I started to face better players I really struggled. I play on console and doctor was already unlocked so I tried him out and he instantly became my favorite. One reason is electrical-based powers are always cool but really it for his tracking. Some maps are really dark and hard to see on console. With his power, I can just flush somebody out. He may not be the best at chases but I do love his laugh.
I also like the fact that he's a straightforward villain. No tragic backstory required.
-
Interesting. Thanks.
-
So what's the knight's power? Does he just summon minions?

Well if i am not wrong we are missing at this point only Billy, Myers, Freddy, pig, spirit, demo, oni and sadako for the full set of nominations. 21/29
And I personally hate to play billy and demo from those 8 because of billies roar and the overheat screeching of the chainsaw and demo screaming at everything they do.
So 23/29
I would add Freddy and pig but I rarely see them these days.
Pinhead and legion on the other hand......🤬
-
No. I usually play until I hit the bloodpoint cap. I'll stop playing until a new chapter or event.
I'll only log in for shrine perks or codes. Until then it's back to Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.
-
Similar happened to me except no one had any flashlight to point at me. I would down someone pick them and then get blinded when nobody was near me.
-
Welp, at least I'm not the only one.

You won't lose teachables you have already unlocked, which means you will have the tier 1 perk you got from the Shrine unlocked on all the characters with the ability to find higher tiers of the perk in the Bloodweb.
However if you mean you want to unlock the higher tiers directly, then yes, you would need to buy the perks again.
You can find more information here:
Ok. Thanks.

Jurrasic Park/Dino crisis
-
I never thought I would see the day where overcharge was a more viable perk than ruin but here we are.
-
No.
I just got all my perks for the dredge. I ain't doing that again.
-
Anything that combos with overcharge e.g. dragon's grip.
-
Got them all. It really depends on the maps.
I only played killer. I only had one match where I couldn't find it. Most of the time the survivors would finish three gens before I found the mask.
-

It's not adding progress when you do that, you're just getting updated information on the total progress. Kinda like a refresh button.
Oh I see.
-
I just play killer and throw the match. Not chasing anyone until I find it.
-
She's got nothing on Myers.

In my opinion, 2 of her perks are more gimmicky and can be countered relatively easily once you catch on, and the last perk is pretty good on certain killers.
Merciless Storm: You can use this perk on some builds if you are going for a gen grabbing build (use tinkerer to prepare for them to focus on the skill checks and try to go for the grab using stealth killers). The problem with this perk in gimmick builds is that survivors will tend to catch on if they are not oblivious and you have to be mindful of spine chill users. On its own, not very good perk, it's only one use per gen and the skill checks aren't too difficult on their own. (I think it should be buffed that if a gen gets below 50%, it could activate again)
Call of Brine: Can be devastating on uncoordinated solo queue teams, but isn't that effective because survivors can tap gens. You can combo it with Dragon's Grip, but after a survivor falls for this once, they probably won't again, or they'll tap the gens while injured to deny you any value. Dragon's grip also has a long cool down and short activation period, so it isn't a winner combo necessarily. Pop and call of brine can be devastating to a gen if you pop the gen near the hooked survivor and all other survivors are far from the hook. It'll cause the gen to regress a lot, but can easily be countered from survivors being close. Survivors can also spread out on gens and pressuring multiple which is hard for any killer who isn't mobility.
Scourge Hook: Floods of Rage: This perk is really good on Nurse, Blight, and Plague, also Huntress on certain maps and maybe Artist. This perk can also get some good synergy with MYC and wraith. I've seen someone get consistent instant downs because of using MYC and Floods of Rage aura reading. I think this one is probably her best perk in regards to getting consistent value, but still can be situational at times on it's own.
Ok Thanks 👍️

Doc, Plague and Artist. For the rest I'll wait for the "catch up" option.

You might be waiting a long time because the devs aren't 100% sure they'll release this in the summer.
They just gave an estimate but it can just be pushed back less towards the end of the year.
Keep this idea in mind.
I'll just take a break like I usually do when I'm burnt out. Then come back in a month or two.
-
I'm only buying the dredge with shards.
I would have liked to have seen the new prestige system first but I don't feel like waiting any longer.
-
No idea but I only buy cosmetics for a handful of favourite characters like Doc. The last cosmetic I bought was the oni armour from last year (forgot the name).

I see two main options here:
Option 1: Get everyone to P3 Level 1: this ensures you get the "unique reward" whatever it is, and then gives all your killers/survivors their perks as soon as the prestige rework happens. This is the guaranteed way to get that to happen (at the cost of losing items, add ons, etc) because option 2 they've not been fully clear on what the extent is...
Option 2: get everyone to level 50 with all perks. They've said they're "catching up" people in this situation by auto prestiging them to an "appropriate value" but we don't know what that value is. I would assume a level 50 character with all perks at tier 3 would go to P3, but I don't know that for sure and as far as I know they haven't said. However, they were clear that you miss out on the unique reward this way, but you keep your items and add ons.
So, whichever one sounds better to you I'd say go for.
Option 2 it is then.

Transformation/Metamorphosis
Something "creature feature" like an insect that starts in larval form and changes into a more deadly adult form.
-
Almost extinct.
Dredge will soon take his spot.
-
I'd rather not burn myself out before the update drops.
I prestiged Doc and Plague a awhile back. I really liked Artist and got her to P3 but I needed a break so I skipped sadako's chapter. Killers I don't enjoy like hillbilly and nurse are only level 40.
Over half the perks I own came from the shrine so getting everyone to p3 won't benefit me.
If I'm going to prestige anyone else it will probably be dredge.
-
So the leaks were true then. I had a feeling they might double dip in resident evil.
-
Unless the grind is getting reduced then no, not really.
I'm just curious to see if the leaks were real or not.
-
Burnout from grinding bloodpoints.
I got new games to play so I'm definitely taking a break.
-
A 'good' Nurse. I might as well just give up.
Honorable mentions: pig, legion, freddy. Their matches tend to be a boring slog.
