David in B tier is a crime.
The Geneva convention is optional and I am this close to breaking it
(also absolutely not Steve in s tier but yeah I mostly agree with the rest)

Look I can't judge considering I ship Kingfield but maybe the forums isn't the best place for it?

Oh, I was talking to them on correcting their definitions. Not you.
Like I said, indirects. Comments made towards someone without actually addressing them. As the king of passive aggressive behaviour you can't even attempt to bullshit your way through that because it's exactly what you did.
It's an obsession at this point honestly

English? ... You mean, like... Britain?
Because if you meant America, I don't know why you said English like this.
Also not what I was saying, and 100% a goalpost move. The subject is LGBT people, not race.
Yes, I do mean Britain. Why would I mean America when England were the team playing in the Euro finals?
And you were talking about how first world countries are all acceptance. They definitely aren't. Just look at domestic abuse cases as soon as England lost, or street violence in London on that night.

Just as a friendly reminder that this is not true in America and any first world country. A look at social media proves how accepting it is... and how the admins immediately shut down anyone who might try to actually scrutinize things and not troll.
Third world countries like Iran (and China) though, yup.
English football fans have literally been beating up black people in the streets because someone missed a penalty but yeah everything is rainbows and acceptance for everyone everywhere

The devs literally said on stream when the announced it that if you get enough reports your banned.
Its not people making it up its the devs saying it works in an extremely stupid way then backpedaled HARD on their statements.
That's actually not what they said. I should know, I made the summary.
Edit: what they said was that it was still very early WIP and the two plans as of current were to either have a mass-flag system, where if someone were to receive x amount of reports within y time it'd trigger a penalty, or have the same thing be the case except the reports would instead be forwarded direct to BHVR staff. Very early WIP, very subject to change, maybe not implemented at all.

You must not play on console then.
Washing myself with water to get the infection off...but wait my wounds have healed too wow makes total sense.
Yeah because healing from serious chainsaw wounds with a backrub makes total sense, as does being able to stun nemesis with a little piece of wood
-
No I don't think the Plague's form of giving infection should also insta-down survivors, as this would make Corrupt Purge substantially weaker than her main power.
I also don't think her Corrupt Purge should instantly down either. Let's look at all of these killers you've listed:
- Oni, must get close to the survivor to damage them
- Leatherface, must get close to the survivor to damage them
- Billy, must get close to the survivor to damage them
- Jamesface, must get close to the survivor to damage them
- Myers, must get close to the survivor to damage them
Now, let's look at Plague:
- Is a ranged killer, does not need to get close to the survivor to damage them.
We've all seen how nuts strong Iridescent Head + Infantry Belt was, making Corrupt Purge literally even better than that combo would be a stupid idea.
-
If it wasn't extended then there'd be so much backlash, it's just like the last time when it was extended they updated it very late into the original end date. Yes, it's officially extended

There’s a bad habit in this community of “because such n such said/posted...”

This is exactly why the devs never release stats, because people look at them, don't consider any external factors, and jump the gun drawing several balance conclusions off of the when they were released for fun. Ceteris Parabis these would be great, but we cannot assume Ceteris Parabis due to the range of time the data was collected from + how much the game has been updated since then.
These were literally meant to be for a press release. They were made to impress, not to give us things to draw conclusions from.
How many times do people use the argument that the kill rate doesn't matter? Now suddenly it does? #########??
"Oh but the devs use these stats to-" they have access to more stats than what they give us, and also community feedback is taken into account (even if just a small amount of it).
Tl;Dr: these stats were made for a press release to impress, do not draw any conclusions on them because the data is inconclusive, the game has been updated so many times over the period of data collection, and we do not have all the stats.

Then don't be pedantic, saying any killer is going to have a hard time without perks is universally true and you're arguing the point for the sake of arguing, If everything was equal and nobody had good perks that game then maybe you'd have a point, also your forum name isn't a pronoun, if you don't like people referring to you by any part of it then reach out to a mod and get it changed.
"Then don't be pedantic, saying any killer is going to have a hard time without perks is universally true and you're arguing the point for the sake of arguing"
You clearly haven't been here long but discussing/arguing on the semantics of claims is what I do best, and what I enjoy doing the most. I argue on these very specific points or loopholes in a claim or idea to either disprove it or make their argument stronger and admit defeat.
"if you don't like people referring to you by any part of it then reach out to a mod and get it changed."
Already done so, from a childhood nickname to what it is now. Which is why it's there in full, to be used in full. If I wanted it to be shortened I would've done so myself, however I even gave you a simpler alternative of GBK to use. Which is fewer letters and easier to type and I don't mind it at all from anyone.

Don't try to be condescending to me by responding to a point I didn't even make, doubling down on it, and being overall aggressive to me in other thread too and then expect me to not reply with "Stay mad" when I'm right.

You must face some trash rank 1 survivors if you think perkless on any killer isn't a difficult game, Karu.
Aight so now you're just doing that to get on my nerves but seriously. GBK or GoodBoyKaru, it's not an exclusive request to you and just Karu from anyone except a select few makes me genuinely uncomfortable. So, again, please don't use it. Thank you.
Secondly, Nurse. She's on a completely different level from literally everyone, even Spirit, when no perks are involved. Hence why I talked about it depending on skill, playstyle, map, and definition of "difficult game".
Thirdly I can't comment on the exact skill level relative to other regions but it's EU. I don't think it's as bad as Australia or Asia, but is much worse than NA or SA.

Karu, saying "well a god nurse won't have a harder time" is not an applicable argument in the context of the conversation you're playing a word game where nobody can be proved wrong but you know what I mean.
Hugs and kisses xox
Hey so can you not refer to me as Karu? Full name or just GBK, please.
Also, punctuation man. Thanks.
Next, I'm saying a great Nurse not God Nurse. And I'm still not saying she won't have a harder time, I'm saying hard time. Big different bestie. A hard time = difficult, down to the wire, struggle. A harder time = more difficult but not necessarily difficult. Like, Easy mode in a game is harder than Beginner mode, but that doesnt necessarily make it hard.
Stay mad x

healing alone = 32 seconds.
Healing with one other = 16 seconds.
If you work on a gen, you get a penalty, meaning you couldnt repair worth of 32 seconds with two survivors (without wasting time because it would be better to split off.
Meaning, it would technically be smarter to selfcare besides a gen while the other one is repairing it.
Doesnt mean self care is good but its not bad either.
It always depens HOW you use it and that goes for everything.
Alternatively.
Medkit = 16 seconds solo while other people are on gens. Yellow medkit with +8 charges = 2 full heals. You also get more heals after you've been unhooked, when someone would already be off of a generator. And you have an extra perk slot available.
It's useful in a few scenarios where a Medkit is better.

I read what you wrote dumb dumb, all killers have a harder time controlling the game speed without perks, that's literally why they exist, it's like all your killer ideals come from playing in rank 20 killer games or from watching 10,000 hours killer streams which does not apply to the general player base. Even a nurse who has great map control, will have a harder time without meta perks, in the same sense, that average survivors will have a harder time escaping a match without meta perks. The best perks for everyone makes the game easier, to not have them is inherently harder by comparison.
You can be good at killer and survivor without perks, this doesn't change obvious facts.
"I read what you wrote dumb dumb"
Clearly not or else your reply would actually respond to what I said and not try to make up some claim from Narnia.
"all killers have a harder time controlling the game speed without perks, that's literally why they exist"
I never said anything to the contrary. Please point me to where I said this, because I'll tell you what I said. In response to "without perks, even Nurse will have hard times" I said "Only if she gets chronically bugged". That doesn't mean it would be easier without perks than with. That doesn't mean perks hinder her. It means without perks she wouldn't struggle.
Again, ✨reading✨.
"it's like all your killer ideals come from playing in rank 20 killer games or from watching 10,000 hours killer streams which does not apply to the general player base"
Actually it all comes from my own experience with playing the game. A lot of which have been red ranks.
"Even a nurse who has great map control, will have a harder time without meta perks, in the same sense, that average survivors will have a harder time escaping a match without meta perks."
You are once again proving you didn't read what I wrote because you're responding to a claim I never made. You'd have a great point here if it were at all relevant.
" You can be good at killer and survivor without perks, this doesn't change obvious facts."
Correct, I completely agree! Why are you telling me though, because it still isn't relevant to what I said?
Anyway yeah I know that using your eyes is difficult, especially when you could instead fabricate a point from nothing to attempt to get a shred of high ground, but next time stick to responding to what I've actually said, okay bestie?
Thank you very much x

Without best perks, even Nurse will have hard time if survivors focus on gens. This is reality lol.
Depends on how good the Nurse is, which map, and how many bugs she gets. A great Nurse on Midwich or The Game will do much better than a great Nurse on Yamaoka, for example.
Also depends on how they play. Someone going for 12 hooks is much more likely to struggle than someone going for lots of slugging and only hooking when nobody is around in LOS (which again, map dependant)
Nurse doesn't need perks and depending on playstyle they won't struggle to win either (if you call having 2-3 gens pop- 4 max- before a win a 'struggle' then I see where you're coming from).
Edit: Also let me say this is my opinion. It's fine to disagree and I'm sorry for coming off as hostile in my first reply

Wrong... I seen certain folks complain about decent to good loopers. I seen some people call it "abusing a loop". Funny thing some killers don't even bother with certain loops. And usually the survivors that run are the ones that don't know how to loop, and they tend to go down quicker than decent loopers.
I've seen people complain about that, and 1 game vs a w squad team and they never complain about looping again. How very odd

Well, if those stats started to be collected in July of 2017, that alone explains Self-Care's position.
Healing was changed and thus self-care nerfed in patch 2.3.0, which released sometime in October 2018. This is a gap of a year and 2-3 months. The stats finished being collected May 2021, which is a gap of 2 years and 6-7 months. More than enough time for it to be removed, or even dethroned from #1.
So no, not really.

I know that, I just have a phobia of trash teammates.
I usually use dead hard and iron will, pretty comfortable playing injured but who knows when you need to be at full health. Relying on teammates as a solo queue player is just too much for me especially with this horrible matchmaking.
I use Iron Will, WGLF, BT, and DS. I can't stand tunneling, camping, or Spirit so I do my best to counter it, and then WGLF is a comfort perk because it has a personal meaning to me (and the bloodpoints are nice). Yellow medkit with +8 charges gets me through most matches tbh

I know this will just sound contrarian and conspiracy-esque, but I'm going to say it: I really don't buy that both Wraith and Doctor are picked more than Trapper. Trapper is like the go-to newb killer, and, as rare as Trapper was at higher ranks, up until recently Wraith was virtually non-existent.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2349567#Comment_2349567
Flashlight are without question better assuming you know what you're doing. Just like Self-Care is a great perk if you know what you're doing. Just because a lot of people are bad with them doesn't mean that either flashlights or Self-Care aren't better than many of the other alternatives.
flashlights waste far too much time for a negligable benefit, particularly if the killer is sentient. if they know a flashlight is in play they will bait or look at walls to pick up and now you've wasted so much time hiding for a save that could have been spent on a generator. if you're trying to win, they're not worth it, and medkits are substantially better. flashlights are fun, though, so there's that.
blinding at a pallet also isn't usually worth it because a lot of killer players have these wonderful things called ears, and many will look down after the break to avoid a chain blind while listening out instead. furthermore, walking into walls isn't that likely because they can map out a rough location of their surroundings pretty easily before they're blinded.
this is coming from someone who uses them every game because theyre fun, by the way.
