If you are such a god at the game this would actually help you because SWFs would be closer to your MMR and you would have quicker matches ;)
Or im so far above average im getting what Dowsey got with his 2 hour long Twins queue :/

And how exactly would killer buff look like if they did this? And how many years would it take for them to do? They wont even add FOV slider or brightness settings in to the game, and everything even quality of life changes are build in into the perks.
They wont do any of this anytime soon
Buff totem spawns, weaker killers movement abilities buffed, second mandatory objective, maps shrunk, etc
But we've been waiting on the solo buffs for 4 years so I doubt we'll get very far ever

Don't know why they read these then if they get frustrated.
Because it's a bit like the fnaf posts just on less of a scale. Still keep showing up bringing nothing new to the discussion and not meant for feedback because there's a subforum section for that.
Oh and these are all made by the same person

Also, is there a new thing/bug where you hit a survivor as a pallet comes down...they scream...but don't go down a heal state? Anyone else?
That's a side effect of hit validation at pallets combined with instant feedback from p2p days.

Kindred without killers aura could be basekit, I can see that but Bond and totem counter? No way in hell they would just buff survivors that massively for no reason
To counter the fact 4man SWFs get this information for free, help balance out the playing field, then buff killers and related mechanics?

So now I need to walk backwards if I want to try and stun the killer? Whatever it is this needs to be fixed it makes the game feel super unresponsive. I know I am raging in the clip but this is far from the first time this has happened to me. Legit happens almost every other game, happened twice in the game the clip is from. After a while it just gets infuriating.
Or just take your finger off the shift key momentarily while attempting to drop the pallet and be on your way
-
Well I'd say go for it since you want the devs to look at these, as the general discussions community seems to be rather... Frustrated with these posts at the moment. Surely one of these could have been made in feedback.
-
Because the devs hate solo queue. This is evident by the fact they made small game the totem counter despite us begging for ######### YEARS and then proceeded to say "We hope solo queue will enjoy this :)"
Also in the same Patch they made Open Handed a pekr which works better in SWF than solo. That's fun too.
-
Aight so here's what happened. When you're moving, as in running, in a certain direction you cannot drop a pallet from one side, only the far side of the pallet. Say if you were running to the pallet from ahead, you would have to run through the pallet to drop it.
You can counter this by moving backwards or walking slightly.
I fear this may become more common than before with the now recent removal of the reversal, where you stun a killer on the same side of the pallet you're on.
-
I dont know I haven't actually found a killer match yet.
-
How many times do I have to scream into the void that making any changes to SWF will just harm the game and solos and killers are the ones that have to adjusted, priority to solo.
It doesn't matter if you adjust the SBMM rating of them by a certain percent because if they aren't finding matches it'll open it up to the lower SBMM ratings again, making queue times longer. This is also working entirely under the assumption that SBMM functions which, considering I have yet to find a single killer game, means the game thinks I'm an absolute god or it doesn't work very well.

Have you ever considered using the feedback section? Where the part of the team that look for feedback actually go?

I don't know nor care about what Netflix sorted out with BHVR because I still lost access to something as a result. BHVR must have some way to get out of this but I just can't find it in the EULA, and I'm really trying. If for some reason they don't have something written in, that must be illegal right?
Actually, here's where you're completely wrong. Here's a passage under Section V. Virtual Goods in the DBD EULA:
There are a couple of important parts here which I'll highlight below and explain what they mean.
"The Game may, from time to time, feature virtual goods. Virtual goods include but are not limited to virtual items (characters, accessories, items such as “character customization”, power-ups), points, credits, tokens and currency (collectively, “Virtual Goods”) for use in the Game."
The game contains things known as "Virtual Goods", which include virtual items, points, credits, and currency. You may think maps aren't listed here but they are- "include but are not limited to". Maps are classed as a Virtual Good for the purpose of this EULA ("collectively, "Virtual Goods")".
"Virtual Goods are licensed to you, not sold. You do not own the Virtual Goods, and you acknowledge and agree that all Virtual Goods represent a limited, personal, nonexclusive, non-transferable, non-assignable and fully revocable license to use the Virtual Goods, for your individual, non-commercial, entertainment purposes only. You have no right, title, interest, or ownership in or to any Virtual Goods. We may terminate your license at any time and at our sole discretion."
This is mostly referring to the ownership of these Virtual Goods (which is important- you do not own the map, nor any of the characters, and have no right to or in any of these Goods, and this licensed use can be terminated at any time). You do not own Hawkins National Laboratory as part of the base game, nor do you own anything, but license it from BHVR for a fee. Due to them being able to terminate this license at will and at their sole discretion, they can legally remove everyone's license to play on Hawkins whenever and however they want.
"BHVR has the absolute right to regulate, discontinue, update, modify or eliminate any Virtual Goods at any time in its sole discretion and BHVR shall have no liability to you or anyone else for these actions."
This clause just states that any Virtual Goods- yes, including maps- can be updated, changed, or removed ("Discontinue [or] eliminate") at any point in time, and BHVR is not liable to you or anyone else for these actions.
There's one last paragraph that's actually very, very important here too. It just didn't fit on the screenshot.
"Note that depending on the country in which you are located, the validity period of purchased Virtual Goods may be limited to a certain period under applicable laws of certain jurisdiction."
"The validity period of purchased Virtual Goods may be limited to a certain period."
That is all. Feel free to read the EULA for yourself here:

you can probably contact BHVR support with the twitch footage. usually they need an in-game report to prove the match took place but if theyre live streaming their own hacking chances are they may take action quicker

Because there are better perks. Killer can only use 4 perks against 16. Gens defense is more important?
There are 87 killer perks. Are you trying to say that 83 of those must be useless junk?
Why do survivors run IW so much? I see it used just as much as Dead Hard. Is it because of the off chance they run into a Spirit? Or because it's a very good perk against many killers?
Finally, thank you for the answer.
There are 87 killer perks. Are you trying to say that 83 of those must be useless junk?
No, I'm saying that out of those 87 killer perks, some will counter survivor perks and some will be countered by survivor perks. Stridor was one such perk (until the recent change), and it is (or, was, thanks to SBMM) possible to play and win in DBD without the ultimate super duper ultra meta sweat builds from both sides due to the state of matchmaking, the emblem system in general, and the fact that not everyone does play for ultra sweat mode and instead play for their fun.
Why do survivors run IW so much? I see it used just as much as Dead Hard. Is it because of the off chance they run into a Spirit? Or because it's a very good perk against many killers?
I think it's a bit of both, if I'm being honest. Before the Nurse nerf it was a good perk- still as strong as it was pre-stridor nerf- and yet wasn't ran that much. Post Nurse nerf, when the 4 blink no downside uber slowdown Nurse players found out she needed skill and migrated to Spirit, Iron Will became commonplace because it helped grant counterplay to Spirit players without Stridor. I know the reason I first started using it was because Spirit pissed me off so much.
Afterwards, people discovered it was actually good against everyone and barely anyone used Stridor, or an add-on which increases noise made. So they started not taking it off, because it was just that good, and due to the looming threat of Spirit deciding she'd had enough of survivor players enjoying themselves ever in matches against her.
It's similar to Dead Hard For Distance (DHFD). Initially it was a dodging perk. Dedicated servers showed up and decided that suddenly dodging shouldn't be a feature because someone decided to not update the netcode from P2P to Dedicated, hence the issue with DH and grabs. Someone started using it for distance, instead of for a dodge, and people cottoned on. Now it's used over Sprint Burst.

Iron Will is a strong perk against most killers. I'm a Nurse main, nothing to do with Spirit. I don't even play her outside dailies. In other words, I don't give a ######### about Spirit.
Irow Will to me has always been an issue and thats even before Spirit was release. The only reason other people give a damn about IW and Stridor is because they are getting killed by Spirit. Because Spirit player used Stridor, they blamed that instead of the killer. That is why the Devs nerfed Stridor instead of Spirit. Because survivors can't get there message across blaming a perk. Now Stridor is nerfed and Spirit is back in rotation. All of the sudden Stridor wasn't the issue.
Besides, I don't care about Stridor or Spirit. Iron Will making a survivor completely silent in chase with music covering up all other sounds is my issue here.
But you still haven't answered my question of, if Iron Will is this powerful, why was Stridor not used? We know it's a strong perk, but there was a hard counter and it was not used- why?

That seems like coincidence due to server instability that seems to plague this game. Definitely had it happen to me before a lot midway through a game despite the Internet remaining functional (and I know this because my Discord call and stream weren't affected in the slightest). It's a DBD issue, unfortunately, and I don't think you can do much except pray to the Entity that the servers like you that day.

We know why Stridor is used on Spirit. Same as why STBFL is used on Demo-puppy or M&A on Myers or Deathslinger. It synergizes with their power or attributes.
My issue really isn't Stridor or its nerf or whatever. It's Iron Will and the bugged state its been in for 3 years.
I'm just asking why the up-until-recently hard counter to Iron Will has been in the game for the entirety of the time it has been bugged and nobody used it.
Surely, if it is, and was, such a problematic strong perk you would bring a perk to counter it? Or is that a flawed argument since you don't know which perks the other side are bringing into a trial?

People saw Iron Will as a weak perk back then and Stridor was widely used by Nurse mains until the 1.5.2 update. Myself used IW back then and advocated it was a strong perk. But the meta at the time didn't involve hiding or losing the killer.
The strength of IW wasn't realized until after the audio occlusion bugs were worked out and you could hear survivors around obstacles again. With the decrease in pallets and map reworks, stealth has become an adopted strategy in upper ranks thus its increase in use.
While there were some, players for the most part didn't complain about Spirit until Nurse and Billy were made more "fun and interactive". Once Spirit became the easy killer to 4k with and with streamers promoted her did the large wave of Nerf Spirit threads start.
We see more complants when certain killers are played more than others. Survivor correlate they loss because that killer must be busted. This is why nobody bitched about Spirit when she was bugged and turned their attention to Blight instead. Now with her bug fixed and being played again, the Spirit OP threads are started up all over again.
And yet, if people realised the strength behind Iron Will after those bugs were fixed, again I ask why Stridor stopped being used on anyone that wasn't Spirit for the best part of 3 years
-
All I'm saying is that the word "Deutsch" is illegal (German for "German") and yet someone screaming SUICIDE at me in salt is okay
So is Nazi lmao
But "Frank's" as in "Frank's Mixtape is a step too far.
-
All I'm saying is that if Iron Will was so strong, and the countering perk "Stridor" has existed since August 16th 2016, why was it only ever Spirit players that used it? And why is Iron Will only ever brought up in the Spirit debate, and rarely anything else? Surely, if this perk was so strong and makes finding survivors impossible, almost everyone would be using Stridor to counteract it?
Spirit was, and is still, a problem due to a lack of feedback and counterplay in general. Because guess what- shockingly, with footsteps fixed, it doesn't matter if you have Iron Will or not because she can still hear you!
Iron Will has counterplay, known as eyeballs. The only time it's really an issue is when paired with Lucky Break, but that's a Lucky Break issue.
Gann, I love most of your posts but I think playing Spirit so much has gotten to you at last.

Being good or bad is not the point of OP's opinion/observations I think.
Read the comment I was replying to, not the actual op.
If you're being told that you need to improve- albeit in far less eloquent ways- maybe you actually do.
If it's a couple of times after you've had bad games, it isn't much. If it's every single game there may be a pattern arising.
Because everyone in this community, killers and survivors and everyone inbetween, are far too quick to blame everything else for their failures and not see if they could have improved. While you may not have known you ran to a deadzone, then fair enough, but if you knew and ran there out of panic then it's a you problem. If you know two survivors are working on a generator, and you overcommit to someone else running you away from your 3gen, it's a you issue, etc.
Everyone has ways to improve. Not many people are able to see it.
-
So anyway I have a much better idea for a post

Almost verbatim, every time: "get good" or "ur just bad"

Exacerbated by BHVR thinking SBMM actually functioned and decided to make it permanent.

Ban evading is indeed an offense, I think it depends on the kind of ban someone receives, I'm not an ACM so I don't know their specifics in a situation like that, I just think that overall if you get permabanned and start over on a different account, you will think twice before breaking the rules again.

Thank you. Just one question to be sure:
"Any previous permanent bans on your record will result in all future offenses being a permanent ban."
Does this means if someone gets new account (no metter platform), if they commit any other offense, THEN they will get banned? Because from what I rememeber, trying to avoid perma bans by creating new accounts will auto result in perma (if there is prove that it is the same person).
My friend got permanently banned through chat offences on one account. The next account he was goaded into a confrontation and then reported and immidiately received a permanent ban, if this story helps

If they want to cancel the blink outright, it probably wasn't a blink that was going to hit the survivor, fam...
You know one of the major counterplay to nurse is hoping she overblinks and running back into her, which she can counter by blinking down and following up with a 2nd blink to hit but the survivor can then attempt to counter this by running unpredictably too? Or faking doing this and getting a lot of distance, that one too.
If she could cancel her blink this counterplay becomes a death sentence.
-
Was it in the patch notes? No? Then assume it's a bug.
-
I haven't heard about this and didn't get a chance to play him yesterday because I was very limited for time. I'll try and see if he feels different to me in a game tonight when I get the time.
-
This would've been the case under the emblem system too. Unfortunately for your own survival playing selfishly is the way ahead.
-
She is literally the strongest killer in the game at the moment (if we don't include bugs) maybe let's not buff her.
Why is she different? Because her power is brokenly OP, made up for with the downside of low base movement speed and being punished for missing.
