Hahaha, I got the new Jane skin and I've gotten free hatches out of it today too.
Also got some weird incel hate in a couple pregame lobbies too.
Weird don't know why anybody would hate on it.

Lol don’t listen to all the idiots in this forum. Killer can definitely be fun and you’ll improve the more you play and learn and will be winning most games. It’s just that matchmaking is terrible right now and can be very unfair.
They are working on an MMR system to help this but who knows when this will be implemented or even if it will work properly
Killer can be fun, but it can also be incredibly stressful too. Yea the better you get higher chance you are going to win games, but at the same time this game's rng set ups influence your chance to win. Survivors have been getting better about doing gens, so that just makes games much more stressful. You can play absolutely perfectly, but you can still lose, if people just do gens. Survivor you can play and not be stressed out at all. There is a problem with the game if you can play killer and be stressed out compared to playing survivor where it's rather relaxing even if you don't win.

Only if you play by the survivors rules. Think of it as "survivor allocated fun".
Don't have "too" much fun though. Definitely not permitted!
Yes, and it's a sin to bring anything strong into the match. Forget trying to win the game you gotta play by the survivor rulebook.

I'm really enjoying both roles in the game and I consider myself as an average player (surely not amongst the bests and not noob anymore : 1k hours). My goal when I start the game is to sit down and have a good time.
The last 2 months, I constantly face 1 or 2 red ranks as a rank 10-11 killer...
No need to wait until the game ends to see the ranks, when you play, you immediately feel the potential of survivors.
Experience learnt me to leave the strongest survivors in the early game. But even then, they know how to be efficient on gens, and I get my first hook when they already finished 2,5 gens (halve their objectives while I'm only at 1/12).
I set importance to improve my gameplay. But the fun factor is even more important to me. And I'm missing this the past weeks...
The same goes when I'm a survivor. When you face a killer with a much lower level as you, there is no fun. You don't feel the threat and the pressure. Although that's why we play this game, right ?
I mean matchmaking was never great and is certainly a complex issue to fix. But I feel the trend is worsening highly.
I am wondering if this feeling was also shared by others down here. Are there any concrete info from BHVR that they are adressing this issue ?
I mean...if people don't play killer, Ithey won't buy any new DLC...
i can't imagine they are letting this issue standing still for so long...
Or maybe I see things wrong and you're just supposed to have fun when you play survivors ?
Sorry killers are there for survivors fun only. That's in survivor rulebook rule #2121921889232232

Why we killing bubba like that! :(

If I keep on having stressful games, I usually use it as a force to push myself to play better. I don't really use strong add ons, but rather I play my best as if the game was competitive rather than just playing casually.
Besides, I hate it when I release my stress on others, if it be in game or real life. Using strong add ons such as rhpf doesn't even relieve it for me because it just doesn't feel fun. It's like playing Slowdown Freddy, sure you'll win almost every game, but it'll feel boring for both sides in the process.
I play competitive a lot, but the fun for me gets sucked out when people bring the strongest things, and it's apparently a sin for killers to bring their strongest things. I do like the practice that RHPF gives though. It sharpens my ability to keep getting more consistent at bottle tosses. Most of the people I usually get are 4 mans anyways. I don't lose that often. I just get stressed out after a while, because it's like I have to play perfectly to win with most map setups, can't make any mistakes. It gets frustrating, but I understand where you are coming from.

ngl. I love late night Survivor on the East Coast US. I feel better about screwing up plays because I know that it's still more than anyone else has done all match.
Have some really good matches though. There's always 2 or 3 that stand out nicely in the mass of rainbow Ranks. Great survivors, solid teamwork, might be an SWF in there with me making up the 4th as a solo. However it works out, there's some really solid people playing and I enjoy the experience.
Get a lot of pretty relaxed Killers too. Only a couple matches a night where the sweat is so thick it seeps out of my monitor. Most of the rest of them the Killers are pretty decent. Allowing unhooks, no real tunneling, slugging only if it's necessary/advantageous. Fun times.
That being said, ######### you bunch of useless idiots who wouldn't save me because the Killer was chasing someone else on the other side of the map and you might have to do something other than hump a generator. I hate you all.
LOL humping a generator now that's funny.

People are going to complain about noed. I personally don't use it, and never have used it, but it's not hard to counter noed if you know all the totems spots in the game. I got use to knowing them all, because of ruin/undying whenever I was playing survivor, and I never had a problem countering noed even now. It's not a bad perk, and anyone who really say's otherwise is overhyping the fact that they simply don't know totem spots. It's not hard to bring a map or detectives or whatever or just remember the totems you walked past while in a round.

Everyone is missing the point.
What is fun for survivors? A silly looking killer that holds no real threat and is fun to walk around the map, or something that can deny loops and actually win.
You see, we need to ask the real important questions here. Ones that lead to less crying about x killer (deathslinger, spirit) and more cosmettics being bought.
I mean most survivors only like playing against the weak killers, because it's an easy escape. I get so much flack for being a good clown player, because I deny people of looping, and a lot of viable options they have, because they are so use to conventual looping that most survivors never think outside the box. Any new killer that usually has incredibly strong power gets whined about, and it will always be like that no matter what they do.

That's exactly what they should do.
Yea just lock survivor loadouts at 20, and keep killers unlocked until the last few seconds so they can do any needed changes in case the loadouts change quickly. Would work just fine.

Nah just very annoyed because I get up to 5 games a day like this.
It's either last second swap to keys or a whole team to flashlights or toolboxes.
Yea, it happens. It's frustrating, and I still think loadouts should be locked at the 20 second range, so they can't last second switch.

So killers aren't allowed to switch to other killers anymore in lobby but it's ok for survivors to last second swap items and to pre-made other characters? Nice job Devs!
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UzxjP07Xxx0
This person literally last second swap to a pre-made character with a key and there's nothing I could do about it.
Seems unfair that we can't switch between killers anymore but they still allow survivors to do this.
They wonder why people keep saying this game is survivor sided.

@REL1_C said:
So meta perks now seem insignificant, compared to the new perk Fast track. Fast track is a perk from a glance quite rubbish right, wrong.
If I'm correct and this perk stacks, this game is now just been destroyed for good.
Perk description:
whenever another survivor is hooked, you main 3 tokens. You consume all tokens after a great skill check on a generator. Each token consumed grants a 1% bonus progression for great skill checks when repairing a generator.
Seems bad right, what if you put this in a team
3 Token x 3 survivors (1 on hook) = 9 tokens.
The max amount of hooks is 11, so 9 tokens x 11 is 99 tokens. so 99% of a gen, I am stupid right, this can't be true...
I don't think this perk will be a problem even though I already despise the gen rush meta from a stand point of me running nothing for gens other than corrupt. I don't really see it being used often. Maybe in the rare occasion where you can get the full swf's with BNP toolboxes resilience, spine chill, prove thyself, and they might get value out of the perk, but I don't really see it happening to be honest besides the rare occasions.

I agree, he should be 115. Theres literally no reason why he shouldn't be.
Currently right now he just doesn't have the power to warrant the 110% like the others do.
-
@NeoFTW said:
When you look at other 110 killers and nurse, their powers are VERY powerful and needed for a hit. Deathslinger literally stops loops and is ACCURATE, huntress long range hits, stops loops and is quick like Deathslinger, and spirit is spirit. Now look at trickster his knives take way to long to put someone in a death state, most times I believe you should literally just hit them with an M1. The knives are only good at small loops and in the literally open. Rn it feels like they're just there. I did a game with using a major of only knives. Barely killed 1. He need to be faster, I know it wouldn't be pretty but if not 115 maybe 113. Also main event is literally a joke, gose down WAY to fast its honestly the most situational thing in the game. That needs to be not a toggle but maybe go down super slower. That's my 2 cents from day 1 but who knows maybe I'm wrong
My suggestions after playing him. Is make him 115% tune down knifes needed to injure down to 5 and tone down knives he has loaded to 40. Recoil is fine, because you can control it with movement of mouse if on pc, and make the knives more consistent. If they become more centered then tone down knives loaded to 30.

Certainly beats the pants off the twins.
I don't know about that one. I don't play twins anymore, but they are incredibly strong. Yea their power is only useful to slug and camp, but the new killers is missing so much right now, that he is just overall a weak killer.

@VSchmitt said:
Really? How survivors can be so simple minded? Come to a PTB room with a full meta build to rush gens while other are having fun trying to understand the new mechanics, why are you guys playing it?

They don’t want survivor to take skill they want to keep it casual. Remember these are the same designers who once thought it was a good idea to have instablind flashlights, and where the survivor could blind or drop a pallet on a killer at any single point in the pickup animation, and the killer would automatically drop the survivor once the animation had finished. Thats how easy they want the survivor role to be.
The survivor role is already stupid easy as is. That's the problem. I play survivor pretty consistently too, but I don't need to run crutch perks or other things to even be moderately good at looping. I know the dev's tried to update these maps, but these batches with mid chapter were an absolute bust. I dread playing on all of them, because they literally turned fathers into a survivor sided map if strong windows spawn in. Still pretty survivor sided though, because they literally have pallet after pallet now in pretty unmindgamable loops. The game map is just an abomination beyond all proportions, and it feels like disturbed ward just got more annoying, because all of the stuff in the way.

There was a post in the feedback section about this. It looks pretty broken and I think people are starting to notice. The bottom of the chapel can have the windows spawn in a way that creates an actual infinite.
Looking at what they’ve been doing with maps recently I think this might actually be intentional. It seems they want survivors to be able to waste 3 minutes of a killers time in a single chase.
They "buff killers" But create map reworks like this to though. Buffs don't mean anything if they plan on going this direction.
-
@TicTac said:
Why are there so many safe pallets on the Game?
Is it bc...
1. The statistic shows that survivor are bad enough to still die?
2. The devs dont know how strong some loops are?
3. Nobody tested this maps?
Guess right and you win... nothing. All three reasons would be frustrating when they are true.
I guess we need more million second chances for survivors in which they already have. It's ridiculous how bad these new reworks have been. With all of these tiles not needing a change at all. These maps are abusable by anyone. Mainly the game map in which you can throw pallet after pallet, and still have 10 more by all the time the gens are done.
-
@GoodBoyKaru said:
That main building is incredibly RNG dependant. There's been spawns where the windows, once the walls are broken, are incredibly weak, and other times where I'm literally invulnerable.
Honestly they messed up this rework and made the main building absolute bs to deal with imo.
When the windows are strong, it literally makes terrible loopers waste so much of the killers time, and they will always go there, because they literally don't know how to loop anything. The map was perfectly fine before the rework in my opinion. It use to be one of my favorite maps, but they kinda threw in the towel in this one. Same with the game map.

So just had a match against a Trapper on Thompson House, and he was having a really rough time. He got maybe three-four hooks total by the time the last gen popped, and then NOED kicked in. Now as someone who plays Killer, I know that this is completely my team's fault for not taking the time to cleanse totems, and it def makes for some spicy plays and a chance for killers to make a comeback.
What I don't get is when players use NOED, perform terribly throughout the match, get fortunate enough for NOED to kick in, slug everyone, and then proceed to say "gg ez" at the end of the match. I'm sure they realize that if it weren't for that one perk, or if we had taken the time to do totems, they'd be left with a 0k and Entity Displeased, so why try to gloat?
A lot of toxic killer behavior stems from survivors. So he might've had a couple of rough rounds against bully's. So he most likely threw on noed, and kind of dished the toxicity back out. I know if I go against too many bully squads. I just throw on redhead pinky finger, and devour and just go on a rampage for a few games, but I never say anything in end game chat but gg.
