I like some of the other ideas but I REALLY need a Kill With Friends mode.
-
Genshin Impact license when?
-
He is fine when compared to other killers. This little buff put him on Ghostface's level at least. He still can't beat top % squads but that's a thing only spirit and nurse can do.
-
Hag looks really outdated on her base skin. This rework will bring some light upon her.
-
I would put Oni down on B, Twins on A, Clown on C, Doctor, Plague and Pig also on B and Bubba on D. Other than that, this list seems pretty accurate.
-
I suggested this idea on a commentary a while ago, but I have put 5% insta regression. 2% isn't gonna do much unless they keep tapping the same generator. Having a considerable regression as 5% would be an incentive to kicking generators, specially since it takes sometime to do it.
-
I demand Trapper, Wraith, Billy, Myers, Doctor, Ghostface, Oni, Deathslinger, PH and Trickster dating routes.
-
None of those. Spirit is one of the most balanced killers in the game. She is fine as she is.
-
I really don't get it why it isn't shown. It is an information easily accessible just by having a good memory or a sheet of paper at your side. I get it if it is an information which is very unlikely to people keep track of (like Pig's traps), but not showing the hook counter doesn't help anyone from both times, if anything, it only hinders players with bad memory.
-
Alien for movie, Parasyte for anime, FNAF for game and I put something random on comic because I didn't know any of those.
I also added Bloodborne on the extra box, since it is my dream license and it has been forgotten on this survey :(
-
I really enjoy idea 1.

2 dead 4 gens to go.... easy mate. 😂
Nowadays, when it gets to this situation the survivors just go hiding and wait for the other one to die to get the hatch. If a progressive gen speed was created, then at least they would have a reason to try and escape together.
-
I feel like this idea has been suggested before but here I go: Make so that gen speeds are proportional to how many survivors are alive. With all 4, gen speeds are reduced, when the first one dies it becomes the normal gen speed and it gets faster until there is only one survivor alive. I like this idea because it helps the killer early game, discourages the killer to tunnel to get fewer survivors on the trial and incentives survivors to go for gens, even though they are in a bad position (like two dead and 4 gens to go).

Rank 1,2,3,4 you need to get 4 iridescent emblems to get merciless. It can't go any higher.
My question is if rank 1 is different from 2, 3 and 4 in a way that you need more points.
-
Trickster all the way to compesate for his horrible design.
Reality: Vigo's pupil cosmetic because why not.
-
I like BBQ but I prefer Discordance.
-
I think that a charm figurine of the killer/survivor would be really cool. Just like these:
(Part of me wants a charm store but that's another topic.)

Even though you have out played the Feng, you chose to gamble the certain of retrieving her. Greeding for a 4K has its risks, especially when it comes to slugging. If you leave a survivor on the ground for an extended period of time, that is on you and you were the one who made that decision fully knowing what might happen.
I understand the annoyance that is cause when you’re trying to find the last survivor but leaving them on the ground and having a way to track them with sacrificing some part of your perk/addon kit for it, denies the survivor any chance even if they are near impossible.
If such a thing were to become base kit, what is a slugged survivor supposed to do while you saunter around the map looking for either the hatch or the last survivor? Recovering? Then what? You not knowing their exact location while slugged allows them to hide themselves/ travel to either fully recover safely, find the hatch, or find the other survivor without the certainty of being intercepted. All of which cannot happen with base kit Deerstalker. There would be no reason to do anything while slugged and thus left for 4 minutes doing nothing but stare at the low res floor and get AFK crows.
First things first, in that case it is not about the 4K, but about the adept, which means Merciless Victory. As far as know, you can only get merciless on the red ranks if you kill all 4 survivors, especially if you are with a killer who has difficulty gaining points (in that case Pig). What this game considers as a win is getting as many points as possible, so slugging for the 4K is simply natural because that's what the game basically tells you to do as this is the most secure way to get as many points resulting in a merciless/perfect score. This is how the emblem system is made and it is expected that killers will play the most efficient way to please it. Secondly, on that situation (when there is only one survivors slugged left), nobody was gaining anything and it was just a huge waste of time. The Feng and me just spent a lot of time doing absolutely nothing. It makes no sense to not give me Deerstalker effect on that situation because no one is gaining anything from that (unless you count getting the killer angry as a reward). At that point, I had already closed the hatch and the end game collapse was in course, so at that moment it was already impossible for that Feng to escape by any means.
If such thing becomes base kit, the survivor will be properly sacrificed in a faster way instead of just slowly dying on the floor. My idea does not eliminates the possibility of a survivor crawling to safety as I did state that there would a be pretty generous timer before this Deerstalker activates in a way that, if happens, it is because nobody is going to rescue you neither you are going to find the hatch for the next minutes.

The Twins were my my favourite killer since The Plague. I simply love their playstyle of being two places at once. Just got their adept yesterday and I'm happy being part of the 0,3% of people who got it :)
-
I don't think they will risk the RE chapter on some new AI feature, especially after how bugged was The Twins.
-
Aside from Spirit, I can't see myself using Stridor for any other killer.
-
IMO, Plague is the best ranged killer and easily A tier material. Hit validation makes her life a bit more difficult, but that's a issue that may be fixed in the future.
-
My dream chapter is still Bloodborne, but I have accepted that it will never happen :(
-
Speak for yourself, aside from the bugs, Binding of Kin chapter was my favorite since Demise of the Faithful. All-Kill might have been the worst chapter ever, but I haven't lost faith in them yet.
-
Although the ridiculous number of breakable walls and god pallets, it's is still a small map, so it's easier to pressure gens and go from point A to point B. Of course, killers like Huntress and Deathslinger have a bad time there, but others do very well. I just had a Hag game there today and it was easy as pie (got my Hag adept :D).
Edit: I am not saying it's killer sided, but it's not as bad as everyone puts it.

"As I said, Amanda is a licensed character so there is a limit to what the designers could do to her, so even if you don't like her design, it is not BHVR's fault."
I don't see why that matters. BHVR could just not put Amanda in the game if that were an issue.
"Also, Amanda's pig head is very characteristic and kinda of unsettling and the details on it make it seem like something rotten or gory."
Not really that unsettling.
Saw is a big franchise, nobody would ever refuse the opportunity to make a chapter about it. And if you think that a disgusting pig head looks less threatening than a yaoi character, then I have no idea what to say.

The actual body of Amanda is also plain and simple. Moreso than the Trickster, if I'm being honest.
As I said, Amanda is a licensed character so there is a limit to what the designers could do to her, so even if you don't like her design, it is not BHVR's fault. Trickster doesn't have this excuse as he is a original character. Also, Amanda's pig head is very characteristic and kinda of unsettling and the details on it make it seem like something rotten or gory.

Neither of those two points are actual counterpoints. Take the mask and the blade away, and what are you left with?
The actual body of Trickster, which includes his garments, is just plain and simple. There is nothing a little bit scary there. If giving a killer a neon bat is a excuse for making a creepy killer, than just give Nea a knife and call it a day. I'm sure she will be much more threatening than Trickster.
-
Imagine putting traps as Hag on Coldwind and they instantly vanishing.

That's like saying if you take Amanda's mask and blade from her, she looks like a Survivor.
First, Amanda is a licensed character from a well-known movie franchise. Second, a mask is something that is attached to one's body, nothing something that is hold and used as a tool. Using only the weapon to justify something being at least a little bit scary in DbD is weak. Don't try to excuse BHVR's bad design choices. Trickster doesn't fit and is the worst design they have ever done.

I'd be running from a blood-stained psycho armed with knives and a blades baseball bat, idk about you.
If you take his bat and his knives from him, I would legit mistake him for a survivor.
-
I absolutely get it that Trickster is supposed to give that feeling that someone who looks fairly normal is an actual psycopath killer, but that's not the problem here. This type of killer could work on another game or a movie, but not in DbD. This type of horror, benefits on the feeling that anyone can be a murderer, which works on a situation where to viewer/player gets surprised in a scene which they discover the identity of killer. On Dead by Daylight, you don't have this same kind of build up that you would get in a long narrative. You just appear in a strange and eerie place, may it be a corn field or a meat palnt, and then you see the killer and you immediately know that you should fear them. The design of a killer should be scary because it is the way of the game to communicate that you should be running from that guy and Trickster design fails to communicate because he is not suited for this kind of setting.
-
I play Hag kinda of often and I can tell you that there is no perk more annoying than Sprint Burst in the hands of a smart player. Hag's gameplay consists of sitting in a area of the map and setting a web of traps there. A Sprint Burst player will just run to other side of the map whenever you come close, without triggering a single trap.
-
Clown may be a #########. It is not confirmed but it is somehow implied. The problem with doing killers that do this kind of thing is that people are gonna have to play with them. When designing a playable character for a game, the character has to have at least some charisma so people will want to play as them because they want to feel the fantasy of being them. Doctor may be a absolute thrash of a human being, but his lore is fun and pass emotions of a true mad scientists. The same can be said abou Oni and Clown to some extent, as all of them have some charisma that make the players want to hunt as them. If you put a true pedo on the game, it would seem strange to make a lore for him that make him charismatic without looking offensive on such a offensive topic.
-
Nah, at least in my games Yun-Jin has been pretty chill. Definetely far from being a toxic survivor.

No. Because they nerfed freddy in ways that weren't needed
^This. Freddy didn't need a nerf to begin with. Also, the killers that did get buffed didn't get what they needed. The only thing that was REALLY good for killer was the OoO nerf.
-
This nerf doesn't make any sense in my head. If anything, Victor shouldn't be vulnerable at all after hitting a survivor.
-
I don't know where people came from with the argument that "just because a character is easy, it shouldn't be strong". What the hell, no game follows that logic.

"Also, poor Freddy mains. Ouch, this gotta hurt."
It does. It is not the end of the world, but it does hurt.
The nerf on the traps don't bother me too much since his antiloop was never his strongest point to begin with. I am concerned with his slowdown addons (which IMO were his best) and the invulnerability to sleep with the alarm clock. I would be okay with the alarm pausing the sleep timer, but not being able to put to sleep even with a attack will hurt him a lot.

Devil's advocate: Rotten Pumpkin now lets you destroy portals that are now useless due to all nearby gens being done.
Wouldn't be better to just make a mechanic in which Demo itself can destroy it's portals that are no longer useful?
-
"We have made some Demogorgon's add-ons more appealing"
*Proceed to make Rotten Pumpkin a useless bloodpoints add-on that actually butchers the killer instead of buffing it*
And tell me one thing, why make Victor more time vulnerable after downing a survivor? If anything, he shouldn't become lockable at all.
Also, poor Freddy mains. Ouch, this gotta hurt.

It's not their map so of course it's out of character. Hillbilly and Leatherface on the other hand look right at home and that's the idea.
Yeah, maybe you're right. It will grow on me. For now, I'm happy corn blindness will be a thing of the past.
-
Killer: The Doctor
Add-ons: Discipline + Electrodes
Perks: Pop Goes The Weasel, Discordance, Thanatophobia and Franklin's Demise (if there is no items then swap it for Surge).
-
I think they did this to make easier to see through corn. I really don't know how to feel about it. Part of me likes the new aesthetic but the other can't see some killers like Freddy or PH matching with these bright maps.
-
I did watch the whole video but I still think that Marguerite would be better as killer than her husband. Idk, I feel like Marguerite being "The Nest" could have really fun and interesting gameplay mechanics.
-

Agreed. SWF should be its own mode, with more deadly killers, while solo queue should be the base game, with weaker killers. If you want the full experience, you're not allowed to play with friends. If you want to play with friends, expect to sweat.
I honestly liked this idea.
-
Midwich is my favourite map by far. The loops are all mindgamable, the breakable walls are normally fair and give you an advantage if you break them. The map is very easy to go from point A to point B. IMO, Midwich is the most fun map in the game.
-
I would say a full BNP squad, but keys are just as annoying.

Not sure it's a bug, I think it's just his power causes you to either not be in chase or constantly drop out of chase losing points. So you have to basically just chase them with M1 and somehow not only get them, but get them quickly- but moving as slow as he does that's just unlikely to happen.
Edit: OP drag your mouse over the emblem next game and take a screenshot of the info it gives you, it should show you chases won/lost etc....
I'm pretty sure it is a bug, it makes no sense to a 110% not to use his M2. Also, normally chase emblems are the easiest to get iridescent. It is just weird that Trickster can't get it.
-
Is this bug getting fixed with Trickster's buffs?
