Pop Goes The Weasel is a must have.
Other interesting perks that you should consider getting: Discordance, Nurse's Calling, Thanatophobia, Tinkerer, Corrupt Intervention and Surge.
Other perks that are kinda of nice but aren't priority: Surveillance, Oppression, Undying, Devour Hope, Spirit Fury, Enduring, Starstruck, Deathbound, Dying Light, Thrilling Tremors, Monitor & Abuse, Overcharge, Brutal Strength and Save The Best For Last.
Perks that are absolutely useless and you shouldn't bother getting: Unnerving Presence, Predator, Bloodhound, Beast of Prey, Territorial Imperative, Overwhelming Presence, Hangman's Trick, Choulrophobia, Mad Grit, Iron Maiden, Furtive Chase, Cruel Limits, Zanshin Tactics, Nemesis, Retribution, Forced Penance and Hoarder.
The rest of perks fall into a grey area between somewhat useful and useless. Normally only helpful in gimmick builds.

I think that a kick should apply a insta 5% penalty above the base regression.
-
I think that the win would go for Freddy or Plague. Plague because even if she dies, everyone will die as well because of her sickness and Freddy because he is basically a god on his dream realm.
-
Trickster is the hottest guy in DbD. He has style, is handsome and has a nice body. Honestly if I were on the entity's realm for ages only encountering abominations (like Nea and Meg) I would be flirting with Trickster instead of running on the moment I found him.
Oni is very beefy and a daddy. However, he is still a butterface so I would be fine as long as he keeps his mask on.
And Legion... Well, Frank and Joey are normal people at the end of the day. Killers but still kinda of normal.

Here's is a perfect example of how the actual winning conditions of the game doesn't match with what we consider as a win. You, as a survivor, escape doing gens as fast as possible and somehow all your teammates died. On the head of the average player, you won because you escaped, so this was a satisfactory result for yourself even tho the game said you lost. The same can be said about killer that even if you camp or slug all 4 to get a 4k the entity still gonna be displeased even tho you were happy with the result. I honestly think that it's weird how the conditions from the game aren't the same as what we see as a win. The problem is that these playstyles mentioned (genrushing, slugging, camping) are very unfun to the other side, so the game can't reward you for that because this would encourage people to do that. I have no idea how to fix this problem since it's the base core of the game.
-
Making this addon base kit would make a lot for him. It would give him personality in a way that he will not just be a Huntress clones as there will be situations where he will be more useful than herself.
-
This chapter was the worst for me so far. The killer design is really bad and his power is unoriginal and weak. His perks are okayish, but nothing special. No new map, neither reworks. I like the survivor and I enjoy her being a more selfish character. I can't say anything about her perks, since I don't play survivor. But overall, I think that Trickster is the worst killer ever designed, both in art and in gameplay. Huge disappointment.
Art: 1/10
Gameplay: 3/10

There is nothing left in the game for killer to protect. The least he can do is protect his one kill and trade hooks. Trying to go for more survivors is completely pointless since if you hit them, they will get speed boost and get out. Unless you have NOED or you are an intadown killer, then you can try getting more people.
-
I despise Yui and Nea. They normally are played by toxic people and I simply don't like the characters. Not that I will camp them, or tunnel them to death, but they are on my priority kill list.
-
Sorry to say that, but I love Lery's and Midwich. On the other hand, Azarov's Resting Place and Suffocation Pit are the most boring maps on the game simply because of their 3 gen layout.
-
Nobody uses reagents. These offerings are simply pointless and they spawn a lot on the bloodweb.
-
None of those. Myers is the one who needs a Freddy treatment ASAP.
-
I am really looking forward for a Blight cosmetic for Trickster. Honestly, I hate his design and want him to be scarier and I think that the Halloween cosmetic will do just that... Unless BHVR makes his Halloween cosmetic be Vigo's Assistant like the survivors, then I am refunding the game.
-
It makes no sense being 2 pips, specially since getting a double pip gets harder when you are at high ranks.
-
Everyone always talks about killer etiquette but never about survivor etiquette. That's why I simply ignore the rulebook and do my best to get my 4Ks. I don't mind points that much as it's definitely more satisfying getting kills than points.
-
In all those DbD years, I have never seen such a thing. That's why I never give hatch. They aren't gonna be nice with me so no point being nice with them.
-
Deathslinger is the most consistent out of the three. Best ranged 110% killer without a doubt.
-
I did a concept for a Bloodborne chapter using Orphan of Kos as the killer, a NPC as the Survivor and the Fishing Hamlet as the map.

I used to main Pig and I think that she is very intuitive to play, in a way that you can get her and immediately start doing good without much practice. The only trick that I think that is not so obvious is to use your crouch and dash attack to do some mindgames on loops. The dash is only useful on small loops, while crouching can be used to hide your red glow and presence on some bigger loops like killer shack.
Other than that, the only other advice that I can give her is in relation to builds. As for add-ons, I like Last Will, Tempered Timer, Bag and Crate of Gears, Face Mask, Combat Straps, John's Medical File and the one that makes bear traps give mangled. These are all fine. I like Rule Set N 2 as well, but some people say it's bad so it's my thing. On the other hand, people like using Jigsaw's Sketch and Jigsaw's Masterplan, while I am not a big fan of.
A for perks, I like using Pop Goes The Weasel, Discordance, Brutal Strength and Thanatophobia. Sometimes I switch Brutal Strength for Corrupt Intervention, since it's good to get someone to have a Bear Trap on before the first gen pops. Some people also like using Whispers and STBFL but I just think that Discordance is a better overall information perk and I don't like using chase perks.
-
I think it makes no sense to punish the killer and the other survivors for the behavior of a player. The killer gains fewer points and the survivors are probably doomed with one less teammate. IMO, killers should gain an extra amount of points when this happens and survivors should get a gen repair speed boost. OFC, my idea is more complex than that but explaining would get out of the thread's subject.
-
Feng skipped step 4 and the stealth part of step 3 and I still see her basically every game.
-
Trickster is the only killer I don't find creepy nor scary in any way and this applies to his cosmetics too.
-
Now we know what there is on his VHS.
-
I only prestige for the achievement and the only one that received this treatment is Freddy, since he doesn't have any cosmetics.
-
I miss the old times when hit perks like Franklin's and Sloppy used to work with Feral Frenzy. Ah, these were good times. Nowadays I don't even think of running them on Legion.
-
Out of the tropes, I think we still lack a cosmic horror killer. I know Demogorgon can fit in this category but he is licensed. I really wanna see a madman with its body full of eyes and tentacles.
-
Play as:
There is nothing more painful than receive a daily from these D tier killers.
-
Legion and Freddy add-ons are actually decent, at least imo. The only two killers that I would put as having terrible add-ons are Deathslinger and Ghostface, since other than their reload/cooldown add-ons all others are weak.
Edit: Bubba also has some forgettable add-ons. Not terrible ones, just forgettable.
-
I only play killer. Survivor gameplay does not interest me at all. If I played survivor, I would probably be a Felix that plays immersed the whole game only doing gens and then get out of the match as soon as the last gen is completed.
-
I think that trick blades should be base kit. It would make him a little bit more viable and give him more personality as a projectile killer.

Imagine not giving a ######### about 7 knifes in your back until the 8th hits you.
Well, Legion can actually stab you forever and Deathslinger can shot you as many times he wants without downing you. So it's not not new survivors being made of steel. Trickster still sucks btw.
-
PH is an incredible killer and The Twins are very fun and unique. Definitely best chapters from last year.

As for the blueprints for basement and everything. It's a nice one to have depending which killer you are. For example if I am trapper or hag. I like using them to make a save all the more difficult. I mean it's not a needed offering but helps a tiny amount. Nothing great. The foggy stuff I find completely useless unless again hag or trapper. Hide the traps I guess a little better? As for the prestige. I think it's pointless and the outfits are pointless as well. Maybe if they brought back the old one I would be more than willing to do it. But not until they fix this grind.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2066832#Comment_2066832
Neat. Thank you for the findings.
Nah, the blueprints are completely worthless. Normally maps have 2 spawn points for basement and most players know where they are on each map.
-
There are two things that I absolutely hate about the bloodweb. First is the number of pollutant offering there is. I am really curious to know if someone likes to use reagents to change the fog or those vigo blueprints to know where basement is. Offerings about bloodpoints, maps and moris are fine but the rest has no usage other than just make you lose bloodpoints.
The second thing that absolutely baffles me is the prestige system. The prestige outfits suck and you have no reason to get them except for Freddy and Quentin (both of them have no cosmetics). If you want to get a bloody version of your favorite killer/survivor and increase the rarity of your bloodweb it is completely fine but why do you need to delete all perks/add-ons/offerings we got? It just makes the game even more grindy.
-
I think it depends on the perk/addon. Sloppy Butcher for example would make no sense being described like "increases bleeding frequency to 3 liters per kilometer".
-
I don't buy cosmetics for any game. If they just release cosmetics and not new content, I'm not buying it.

Second response but I just thought I'd mention it, if you struggle vs him play as him. That's the best way to beat any killer, knowing what they're capable of.
Bruh, read the whole thread instead of just the title. Calling Trickster OP was an irony.
-
I think it's only worth using on Doctor since he has a large terror radius with his calm add-ons and can locate survivors that's are hiding. Other than him, I don't see any other killer using.

I'd say he's the third worst from me playing only a day. He's definitely better than Trapper and Pig.
No, Pig has actually some kind of competence. Amanda doesn't deserve the humiliation of being called worse than Trickster.

Not if you only smack people
So using your power makes your chase points go to zero? I'm really confused.
-
Wasn't he bugged in a way that you get 0 points in chaser?
-
Yeah, I totally agree. The devs have been doing a great job with perk design for killers since Blight was released.

I honestly think corona is a big part of the reason he is so bad, same for the twins. But another possible reason could be because they are not giving themselves enough time. A binding of kin only came out 3 months ago, that isn't a very long time to fully work on a killer when they also have to rework maps graphically among a few other things.
The Twins had a good idea behind them. Their gameplay has a lot of personality and they are decent killers. The Trickster fails from his concept as his power is forgettable and very weak.
-
I would say that this chapter problems (Trickster being probably the worst killer in the game) was more a result of the devs being oblivious to his viability, instead of a technical difficulty caused by corona. If they came buggy as Twins and Plague originally were, I would understand as a pandemic thing. However, since his problems are all relatable to balance issues, I imagine that this was caused by them only, specially after the PTB and everyone giving feedback that he was not ok.

Seeing Oni on the same tier as Trickster on your list is definetely one of the most confusing things i've seen today
Ok, now that Trickster is finally out, I can update my tier list and put him on F tier without a doubt. Neither Clown, nor Wraith, nor Oni deserve the humiliation of being in the same tier as him.
-
Speak for yourself. Once The Twins bugs were fixed, I bought the DLC and was pretty happy with the killer. I can say that they are one of my favorite killers so far and I am not alone. The Trickster on the other hand, even though I don't like his design, a lot of people enjoyed him and I get that the devs would like the idea of kpop idol in the game to get attention.
-
I really enjoy The Twins. Honestly, they were my favorite release since The Plague. There are only two things I would change about them: Increasing the time Victor can hold the survivor on a locker and making so that Victor can't be crushed after downing a survivor. If those two things were implemented, I think they would be perfect.
-
I never noticed that SWF squads were more common at night, for me it was mixed up. I guess that makes sense, since at night people are all at home doing nothing and will play with friends. I guess I will give it a try playing earlier.
-
Does the new DS deactivates with stuff like Jigsaw boxes, Plague's Fountains, Freddy's wake up action and rescuing from PH's cage? Just curious.
-
I feel like I see Yui, Quentin and Nancy more than I should. On the other hand, I feel like Kate is definitely more rare than Marina and Cheryl.
