  • Besides the quests, of course. There is simply no new mechanics for them, no buffs, nothing, only insanely strong mechanics that only work for the survivors. The only thing the killers get are some small dessert buffs once the game is pretty much over. Like, why would anyone queue up in a mode where you're simply at an overwhelming disadvantage? lmao

  • Plague is one of the few original killers, besides Trapper, Wraith, and Huntress, who does not have a special chase theme yet. With her being so unique, it makes her stick like a sore thumb. Please BHVR, give her a chase theme already.

  • So, if you have ever seen me around these forums, you know that I'm the biggest advocate for killer rights, and 9 times out of 10 I have criticism to how the devs have been handholding survivors all the time since Skull Merchant got her first rework. That being said, I actually think that the update the devs announced might actually be good for the game overall, but it will all depend on a single

  • The Outlast franchise has A LOT of iconic villains. So I would like to know which of them you guys think is the most iconic and deserving of a chapter.

  • I don't get why Springtrap has to be 110% while he has his axe, while Pyramid, Nemesis, Dracula, Plague, and Xenomorph all have similar projectiles that direct hit survivors as well. To be fair, I don't get why Huntress and Deathslinger are still 110% in 2025. It feels so arbitrary the way BHVR chooses to make projectile killers slower. Plague in corrupt purge has a better projectile than Huntres

  • I have been playing Springtrap and I can't help but notice it that he is LOUD, which hurts him considering he has stealth mechanics. However, Glitchtrap seems be much more quiet, considering he has no mechanical noises. Did anyone else notice this?

  • Machine Learning is a meme perk and no one uses it seriously. Ok, it is fun when it activates because the buffs it gives you are decent, but getting it to activate is so specific and actually requires you to play in a way that is not very optimal. For it to activate, you need to kick a gen and then the survivors need to complete that gen. The problem is that the perk is only applied to the last

  • As a DbD veteran, I always had more fun with original killers. I can count on my fingers licensed killers that I really enjoyed playing for hours, namely Pig, Freddy, and Sadako. I do enjoy Pyramid, Pinhead, Vecna, Xenomorph, Demogorgon, Nemesis, Dracula, but I generally never have a craving for playing them. On the other side, I have binged played almost every original with some rare exceptions

  • Dracula: As a wolf, can perform two dashes. Houndmaster: Can make her dog perform two dashes to grab survivors. Kaneki: Performs two dashes by default, becomes three when enraged. I am starting to see a pattern here specially since they all came one after the other...

  • Yipeeeeee 2025 and there is a new Twins bug in the game In this case, Victor got attached to this Feng and I wouldn't go back to Charlotte and the Feng couldn't remove me. So essentially, it made two players unable to do anything in the game. Great stuff.

  • It seems that BHVR has settled in adding 3 new killers per iteration of 2v8. Also, it seems that they have been adding mainly killers that are very popular or that are simple in design and don't require much adjustments. If they want to be fair, they could add 2 simple chase killers and one more complex macro killer. Based on that, if I were to guess the next killers, it would be: Oni: Very pop

  • Aside from maybe Huntress, Nemesis definitely feels like the worst killer in 2v8. His playstyle of having to infect survivors first, before being able to hit them with his power is far too slow for a fast-paced mode like 2v8. Beyond that, the fact that survivors can get vaccinated feels much worse in this mode, since you are going after a multitude of targets that you don't usually go in regular

  • I was testing Marvel Rivals and I noticed that they have a system where if two characters with lore connections play on the same team, they get a slight buff. I was wondering how cool it would be to add that to DbD, now that the universe is expanding. You could have, for example, Sable and Mikaela do invocations 5% faster if they do it together, or if David gets a protections hit while injured fo

  • There are currently 276 perks in the game, and let's be honest, only 15% of them are used consistently. Not only that, but the perks that are used consistently have been like that since they were released (mostly). The meta is pretty stale and you see the same stuff every game. On the other hand, when some obscure perk gets buffed to become good or overturned, everyone rushes to use it, then the

  • Lately, I have noticed that a lot of people have been complaining about how annoying map offerings are, and how they offer an advantage to whoever uses them. With that, these people have been calling for the deletion of map offerings. The problem is that this would seriously hinder achievement hunters and people that just want to play on the map for the aesthetics or because they find it fun. M

  • So, I head that to do the Evil Incarnate achievement, you don't necessarily need to use Tombstone on all four survivors, you just need to mori them in any way. Well, I did get a 4k mori only with Devour Hope and the Ebony Mori, but I didn't get the achievement. Is this a bug or am I missing something?

  • So, I really think that people have been underrating Houndmaster's strength, but that's not the point of this thread. The point that I would like to make is that, part of her kit does feel kinda useless, which is strange since there are a lot of add-ons that affect it. I am talking about Houdsense. Ok, it reveals the survivor's location, but the effects that happen to them when you hit them are j

  • Which add-on (combination of them) from the Hag allows you to ALWAYS hit a survivor upon teleporting, while also not sacrificing too much from the trap trigger range? In other words, which trigger range add-ons are the most optimal for teams who keep triggering the traps in the edge of the range on purpose?

  • SUMMARY OF THE ISSUE: I was playing on Blood Lodge as Wraith and I was not able to hook survivors at one point in the game. I would carry them to a hook (scourge hooks) and the game wouldn't let me hook them. I am not sure if this is a bug, or if someone was cheating in the match. I reported the survivor players, just in case. PLATFORM: PC - Steam STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW THE ISSUE OCCU

  • I will go straight to the point because people don't like long posts. The repair speed that the devs announced survivors would gain after hooking a survivor will actually encourage tunneling more than anything else. Just think about this, assuming that each hook gives a 1% boost, if both killers play Mr. Nice Guy and hook every survivor once before putting any other survivor on the second hook,

  • Although this rework is great for them, as it seems, I feel like it fails to address the Twins slugging issue. Yes, now you can't go for huge downing sprees with Victor since he latches onto downed survivors, but that merely makes it awkward to slug with them. I think that the devs needed to know why most Twins players slugged most of the time. It happened mainly because going around the map as

  • I just had an Adept Xenomorph attempt where I did indeed kill four people. However, at one point I did slug because otherwise, the survivors would escape. By doing this, a Claudette crawled to the corner and I couldn't find her, so she eventually bled out. At the end game screen, I did not see the merciless killer message. In fact, I did not see any "whatever killer" kind of message. Above all t

  • Wesker has a bug that gets instantly kill-switched and fixed in some weeks. Twins proceed to get a bug that makes them unplayable in November and the bug still persists. If Twins were shown the love other killers get, they would at least not be the least-played killer in the game as they at least have a very original design.

  • I am curious about which one should I use if I feel like giving survivors the mangled effect. I think that each source has its own benefits. Sloppy Butcher - Easy to apply. Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain - If survivors do heal, you get a nice 16% slowdown on them. Individual killer add-ons - Saves a perk slot, which are generally more valuable than add-on slots.

  • This tome challenge was made before Nurse's rework. Now that her blink attacks don't count as basic attacks anymore, the only way I can see this challenge being done is if you have that add-on that disables her blinks, which isn't very good to begin with. Can the devs please change this challenge to be more realistic to Nurse's current state?

  • So Eruption is dead, Ruin is extinct, Dead Man's Switch is gone, Thanatophobia is destroyed and Pop Goes the Weasel has been burned to ash. To be honest, the one I miss the most is Pop Goes the Weasel and the thing is, out of these perks, it was the least complained about. Seriously, back in the day, there weren't many survivors who would whine about Pop Goes the Weasel. I get it that the devs t

  • Seriously, who in their right mind would create a daily like this? Worse than this only Nemesis original daily. First, I don't know if the devs overestimate the Knight's guards too much, but this mission isn't realistic to the way he plays. Most of the time, on a hunt, the guards simply push the survivor towards you so you can get the hit. They are not

  • PC - Steam Almost every game this bug happens. Whenever Victor gets latched on a survivor, or Victor gets kicked, once you return to Charlotte you camera gets frozen in awkward position and you can't attack nor use your power. You can still move, but you get stuck in place if you try to do any action, such as opening a locker or vaulting a window. This bug is game breaking and gives the killer

  • It has been 4 games in a row that I had to DC for the same reason: Getting stuck in place as Twins. Three times as Charlotte and once as Victor. BHVR's disrespect with the consumer is astounding. The character is 2 years old and they still have the SAME BUGS as in the release. I'm sorry, but I, just as many people, bought a Binding of Kin chapter with real money and it is not fair that this kill

  • I am not kidding when I say that it is probably the third time this week that I had to leave a survivor to bleed for 4 minutes because the only hook on a certain area got destroyed after a survivor died on it. • It is the second time in this year they have kill-switched a killer. The first time it was Nurse and now it is Clown. That is okay, if something is bugged it shouldn't be in the game. But why can't we have access to their loadouts and bloodwebs? Now that the prestige affects all other characters giving you their perks and charms, you should be at least able to put BPs on them while they are in m

  • For you reading this, I really hope you find someone that loves you just as much as BHVR loves making broken perks for survivor. It is the third time in less than a year that they intend to make the game unplayable by releasing a broken perk. First, there were CoH who made an entire playstyle (hit & run) unplayable. Even after nerfs it is still one of the best perks in the game. Then there

  • As players, we have all been there. The loading screen bugged or we took too much time in the bathroom while waiting for the game. For whatever reason, sometimes it is understandable to go AFK, for that reason it's not always the fairest choice to just down and hook the AFK survivor. The problem is, with the explosion noise notifications it's just impossible not to get bothered by an AFK survivor

  • Resident Evil is a franchise full of interesting villains. It's a very positive thing that we are getting another RE chapter but... Wesker? Really? I know they haven't confirmed it but it's very likely to be the case. Needless to say I'm not a big fan of that choice. I just think there are other far better options for a second RE killer. In my opinion, I would much rather have a killer from the l

  • Since Boil Over has been released, the only way this perk has been used is by taking the game hostage on the hands of SWF bully squads. This is clearly a game design abuse and not healthy for the game in any way. Should they Kill Switch Boil Over?

  • For those of you who don't know, Pyramidhead's daily quest is to send 4 survivors to cages. My problem with this is that it can get really annoying since a lot of survivors prefer going down than getting tormented. The thing is that you have no agency if survivors are getting tormented or not, so most of the time you are playing more games than you should while trying to complete this quest. To m

  • I am not gonna talk about how snowmen can be used to tank a killer's hit. They don't get a speed boost and it is just a silly event things, I get it. Also, a lot of killers such as Deathslinger, Doctor and Clown have ways to counter that. However, one killer in particular can't do anything about this mechanic. https://youtu.be/Whh54nWkcE0 Yes, that's it. Victor can get completely countered

  • Yesterday I tried playing a match of DbD. I have chosen Doctor as my killer and then went to The Game. The whole game was really weird for me, as it seemed as I was lagging a lot, in a way that everything would just freeze everytime I turned my camera. I assumed it was just my internet, so I went to other games to test it and for my surprise, there were no lag issues. Today, I tried DbD again. P

  • I am not sure if this is a problem or not, but it seems like it. When playing Nemesis, hitting a tentacle strike cause the survivor to become infected and their skin to have blue goo on them. This blue goo is the main indicative that a survivor is infected, but after they get the cure, the blue goo doesn't disappear, making it confusing on whether or not they are infected. This happened every ma

  • So, let us all agree on something, the prestige system is terrible. For those unaware, you gain 2 bonuses every time you prestige with a certain character. The first and most obvious one is the free cosmetic, a bloodied version of the base skin of the character. The second bonus is related to the bloodweb, giving an extra spawn rate to green, purple, and red nodes. With this bonus, whenever you g

  • So, for the last couple of days I have been on the hype train for getting the adepts. For getting a merciless, everyone know that you have to get at least a 4k on most cases. Thanks to the hatch mechanic, killers who Seek the adept will probably have to slug for the 4th survivor and so I did. On one of those games I realized how it doesn't make any sense for Deerstalker not be base kit. There was
